After dealing with horrible service at a big chain that had a huge amount of washers and driers on sale, yet not in stock, I went over to WDC. Abul did a great job showing me features of different models and got them delivered in a couple of days. Good selection and pricing and great service!

Most of these reviews are years old. Our experience is current. We purchased a Sansum French door refrigerator which was delivered on 8/5/20. The sales & delivery experience was very pleasant. The Oxnard facility is nice, and much bigger than Santa Barbara. The refrigerator was defective, and couldnt be fixed. The Customer Service department at WDC was very responsive and resulted in a settlement from Sansum factory. Buyers should know, the appliance warranties are from the manufacturer, not the selling dealer. This is the case no matter where you purchase your appliance. But, we couldnt have asked for better assistance from WDC.
Hold onto your seats...youre in for a hell of a ride. So I purchased an entire kitchen suite from WDC in November 2020. Its now middle January 2021 and I still dont have all my appliances. I heard from my sales associate once since then...but this last round of communication was the icing on the cake. I told him Id never refer a family member or friend to them and thats when the fight ensued. They are all customer service oriented until they take your money...the sales associate and I literally got into a shouting match over the phone...him ultimately telling me to go to Best Buy (which Im ok with). Would I go back? Not to this location...but would go to a different WDC (only because we know the owner). Bottom line...avoid the Oxnard location like the plague (or Covid)...unless you like being robbed and then yelled at...then yes...go there. The only redeeming person there is Dan the store manager.

Buyer BewareI purchased an LG refrigerator along with two other appliances from WDC in Oxnard. They were delivered in August 2020.After less than 2 weeks, it stopped making ice. I contacted the manufacturer myself and a technician came out and said that it needed a whole new freezer door as the line was frozen. He came back a few days later to install. I was out of town and had my contractor let him. When I returned, I found the doors were not aligned. Called LG for service again and had a 5 hour window scheduled and nobody showed up.I now called WDC and told them I was not happy with the product or their service and I wanted to return the refrigerator and get a different brand. The customer service person told me it was not possible and that she would help me get my issues resolved. She then proceeded to set up an appointment for me with an authorized LG service dealer. They also no-showed. I spoke with her again about my frustration and she then set me up with another technician to come and realign my doors. This service tech showed up, but told me there was nothing that could be done as only one door had a way to adjust the door. I called WDC again and she once again set me up with another service dealer. Meanwhile, waiting for that appointment, the refrigerator stopped making ice again. This appliance is only 2 months old! I called WDC about exchanging my unit again, and once again she said it was not possible. I told her I was going to contact my attorney to see what my options were. She told me then she could no longer help me. Then, she cancelled my service appointment I had set up for a few days later. Now I have to contact the manufacturer again myself and start over. This product is obviously defective and the LG service dealers for warranty are just as useless. I am not looking for a refund, just to apply the money I spent on this refrigerator for one that actually works. This company does not stand behind their products and wasted so much of my time. I will never buy anything from them again.
Very good service, especially the delivery and installation teams. We did a major kitchen remodel, replacing all applainces. The sales associate told us not to worry about knowing when wed need the applainces, theyd work with us on the delivery end. Because of the nature of a remodel during a pandemic, our timing for delivery was way off. Due to this, we were told one of our appliances was no longer available. We had placed a 50% deposit on the items. I wished the sales associate would have let us know inventory was low as we would have gladly paid it in full to hold the item. Instead, he replaced it with a dishwasher $300 more! After then paying for everything in full, the items arrived at the warehouse weeks before we were ready for them (construction!). We stayed in touch, telling them the situation. At one point, someone said if we didnt take delivery soon, the applainces might be sold out from under us. I was LIVID, reminding them Id already lost out on one appliance and that every remaining item was fully paid for and the original associate said it was no problem to hold the items, happens all the time re: construction delays.We love the applainces and the delivery and installation teams were very professional and prompt. They always arrived at the front end of the delivery window.

Update from below ( 2 weeks later ) I’ve had my 3rd repair to the Samsung refrigerator and the blender noise Issue has yet to be figured out. 3rd Repair man left saying “ there nothing he could do to fix the noise” . When WDC was notified by me of that result, WDC ghosted me. Won’t return phone calls or emails. They sold me a malfunctioning refrigerator and are giving me the silent middle finger.I bought 2 refrigerators from WDC of OXNARD. 1 Samsung and 1 LG. The LG works fine and the Samsung is louder than a garbage disposal. Twice now WDC sent a Samsung tech out to try and fix the problem and when the tech got the noise to stop they considered it fixed. Of course hours after the tech left the noises come back. For the 3rd time and 5 days ago Ive requested another repair and have had no response from WDC. Just so you dont think Im crazy, the tech hears the noise and says he doesnt understand the cause. Additionally Ive sent 2 seperate videos at different times of the noise occurring to WDC and still no response. So from my experice you basically have a 50% chance of getting a good working refrigerator from WDC. Also note that when you get their warranty plan, WDC sets the repairs up like this.... A repair guy will call to schedule a day they can come out. That day you pic you have to be home all day because the tech can call at any time and say theyll be there in an hour or two. The repair company gives you no window of time, its just... well call you and you better be there or youll have to wait anther week before we can put you in the schedule again. Its unbelievable.
I am going to be remodeling two bathrooms in the coming months. I entered the store and walked the entire showroom. The place was not busy at the time. Not one single employee approached me, asked to help or even acknowledged I was there. I walked by the customer service desk a few times and no one even made eye contact. I simply cannot understand a business that doesnt even attempt to engage a potential customer.

Everyone in all the departments provided us with exemplary service during the remodel of our kitchen. The counter tops were installed beautifully and all the appliances were reasonably priced. Its a one stop shop that meets all your needs where kitchen and baths are concerned. In addition, they have a huge selection of wonderful high-end products to choose from. There is no comparison to any other store in the Vta/Ox area. Our kitchen turned out gorgeous. If theres anymore remodeling on our horizon, well definitely be back!
The item I wanted was in stock and was delivered quickly. I was given an estimated arrival time between 10 a.m. and noon; they called on the day of delivery to tell me they were on the way and arrived promptly at 10:00 a.m. I couldnt be happier.
I returned to WDC because of the service and wasnt disappointed. I knew when my appliance was due to arrive with plenty of updates to keep narrowing that window. Installation was professional. A satisfied customer.

We purchased a Bosch 5 Burner Cooktop. They had a large selection of all appliances and the prices were good. Customer service was exceptional! This is the 3rd kitchen appliance we have purchased from WDC.
Showed us options and explained difference. Oven was ordered and available in one day. Installers solved fitting problem and did a good job.
I purchased many products from WDC. And had a good experience with the sale representatives in the store. However, when you ask when your item will be delivered. The sale repre says, they will call when my item arrive in the warehouse. The person never called . I had to calling them. Now, the customer service person make excuses stating, they have no control of the delivery process. But they do have control over their brain, mouth and hands, also, they have the power to pick up the phone and call the customer like theyd promised; leaving a customer in limbo. This happened to me several times. WDC cradle-to-grave delivery sucks. I think this will be my last time purchasing from WDC.
Very disappointed by staff who refused to provide help after I reported that a three-month new but never used oven would not light in a remodeled home. They explained that after 30 days from purchase they are no longer responsible, and that I needed to contact the manufacturer - which I did. Initially, I was told that the salesperson who sold me the stovetop, oven and dishwasher was aware and would contact me on Monday. He didnt, but did call Tuesday 15 minutes after I reported that I had no other recourse but to write a Google review. Technically, WDC did nothing wrong following policy to the letter. Still, some sort of assistance, i.e., more about who and how to contact, would have been better than being treated as a nuisance. I do want to thank Frigidaire who sent a tech the next day and made the simple fix cleaning an oven line in ten minutes.
Hi Just dealt with the Manager, Arlo Curtis, who says he doesnt have a boss to report to and there is no one higher to go to to complaint about their EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Heather -- shes not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but she is much better than the others. This is my third time dealing with them and each time I have left with a feeling that we were treated so poorly that I would never come back. We come back because they have items you can get right away. Im so sorry to say. I will make sure we dont go back this time because this type of business -- such a poor business that has a manager who doesnt care and employees who are worse should not be in business.

I have purchased from them prior and this most recent experience was similar to past ones. Knowledgeable, helpful advice got me a now appliance at a great price that was far more suitable than what I probably would have wound up with otherwise.
I purchased an entire kitchen of GE Cafe Appliances, plus an extra dishwasher and a washer and dryer from the very nice salesman. The refrigerator has leaked from the day it was delivered and has not worked for even 1 day in. 8 months! GE has sent out many service calls and replaced many parts but still not working after 8 months. I have requested Discount Watehouse to help us with this but they refuse to get involved.i am so disappointed with their attitude and lack of help in resolving this disturbing issue.

I am renovating a condo from out of state and received WDC as a referral from a property manager in the Oxnard area. They found me a stellar deal, kept in communication with me throughout the ordering and delivery process, and accommodated my need to move the delivery date not once, but twice. Delivery was on time, as committed. We ordered a fridge, range/oven, dishwasher and microwave. The fridge came with the ice tray installed incorrectly leaving a puddle of water on our brand new floors the following morning but I believe this was a factory error. WDC should probably check over the appliances to avoid these occurrences but I am not going to ding them for it. My husband was able to fix it in 30 min and it has been working well since. No issue with any of the other appliances. We are in an upstairs unit and had WDC install the range and fridge and there wasnt a scratch on either. Very reasonable install rates, too.

Bought washer and dryer. Really bad service, needed the pair that day and in order to make the sale they told me I can pick it up at Moorpark but it was a lie wasnt able to pick it up huge waste of my time. BestBuy had the same pair for the same price but didnt buy it there because they told me it was going to be shipped and take 4days. Will never buy from here or recommend this place.
