I went on a Saturday. Couldn’t be avoided. Considering how busy it was, I had a fine shopping experience. The employee in the kitchen department who helped me was surprisingly friendly. If you are just looking to get from point A to point B rather than meander through the whole store, there are shortcuts that can be utilized. Clearly, October is when to shop for Christmas decorations at IKEA. Bit too soon for me. The furniture and online order pick up area appeared understaffed which resulted in excessive waits. There is electric vehicle charging available including a handicapped accessible spot. Never seen that before!I didn’t check out the bathrooms, it was too busy.Oh, I almost forgot the most important part: The iconic IKEA bag has evolved to include a cotton version. Eureka! Or should I say Funnen!?
Get there early for the spectacular meatballs before you set off on your journey through this colossal furniture store. Give yourself plenty of time to get everything you need and then some.Staff were helpful along the way but at pickup leave some wiggle room as this choke point will get you every time
They have easy to install furniture. I have always liked their showroom and find interesting stuff. But this time I felt that showroom didnt have enough kids beds on display. They were out of lot of things that we wanted to buy. Some item were on display but could only be delivered through online shopping. Also I did not enjoy their vegetarian food plate.
Considering it was Friday of a holiday weekend it was not very crowded, The only negative is they had 3 cash registers open, People holding spots in different lines totally uncalled for. And no matter how many times they requested people have their masks on asks on the ones without just laughed.
Click and pick curbside delivery is a terrible experience. Expect to wait up to an hour even during offpeak times. I have used this option twice and it’s faster going to the store picking up your order. The products are good, however I’m unlikely to purchase bc they haven’t invested in the newer delivery methods.
Not crowded during the week. Only thing is they didnt have a shower curtain I was looking for. Checkout line went quick despite fewer cashiers.
Since covid, the joy of Ikea or any department store visit, is gone. A quick bite at ikea is but a memory. So sad.😒
Great displays. Friendly staff. Easy to get around. Returns are on the second floor! They need a bigger sign for that.
Love this place! Clean, great furniture and things at very reasonable prices, worth the drive for me, check it out!
Good prices, & a lot of different items. The employees who work there have always been helpful, & respectful as well.
This is a really fun store to visit. They have many many Innovative and clever ideas for storage and decoration, at reasonable prices. They also have a terrific cafeteria always featuring Salmon in some form. Delicious!
Why is this place not open on Sundays ? I feel like that’s a basic requirement of every IKEA.
Havent been here in years, love the store, was about to spend a lot money, had to walk out, great place to shop, spoked to ladies (staff) about the Hemnes bed, they were so pleasant to me, Im grateful for the help, didnt get they name but Ill look for them tomorrow when I return for more stuff
A good, typical IKEA store. Parking a little bit more difficult than normal and entrances on multiple levels. Online inventory did not match store inventory, which is common, unfortunately. Difficult to find associates upstairs in the furniture showrooms, but they were more readily available in the marketplace downstairs. A better way to identify where things can be found in the store and a less maze-like way of getting to them would be nice. Check out line was a bit long and scanner at self-checkout had a faulty cable, so associate kept needing to fiddle around with it thus slowing things down further.Overall, a typical IKEA store, but this particular location can use a bit more polish.
Standard Ikea. This one has a parking deck.TIP: Park on the second floor of the parking deck. There is an entrance there and it will make exiting to your car much easier. If you park on the first floor, you will have to take an escalator down to the first floor instead of just exiting outside of checkout. If you have never used the type of escalator/ramp Ikea has after checkout, just move your cart onto the ramp and the wheels will magnetically lock onto the ramp preventing movement. There will be instructions next to the moving ramp.
Beautiful, spacious and friendly staff ready to help you. We went early so it wasnt crowded. Highly recommend
So so so so busy. Stock isn’t super accurate in the app because the volume of this store. People could have everyone of the listed stock in their carts already. Can really only trust the stock if it’s a lot of them it lists, if it’s low consider it out of stock
Ikea happens to have a large parking lot on the ground floor, a majority of the self-serve on the first floor and a display room on the second floor. That makes a little difficult for parking, but a good thing is they have big elevators period one of the challenges most of the things Im looking for, including a desk and a hutch, are out of stock. I suspect its because everyone is at home during this covid time and needs furniture.
Very large store. Its set up with rooms to show their products in the various rooms: kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and home offices. I love their products, easy to put together, sturdy, well made.
Ive just been there twice. Once the dining area didnt have plates. Next there were no dollies when I tried to check out. Never had anything like that happen at other IKEAs. Otherwise a fairly typical IKEA.
Nice place to get lots of household items including furniture. We always end up buying more. Though this time I could not get extension wires I was looking for or may be I missed them. Unfortunately I didn’t find any Ikea worker on floor to seek help to find it.
The young lady in the front was very helpful. I couldnt find an item and not only did she show where it was (a few registers down) she went and got it for me so that I didnt have to leave the line.
I am hooked on IKEA. The showrooms are so well put together & finding items you want is simple. They also have a snack area & cafeteria. I love this place.
One of the best Ikea layouts Ive seen out of the 20 or so Ive been to. Plenty of floor space, multiple parking levels. Only issue is the intensity of the crowds was extremely high even by new york city area Ikea standards.Kitchen still very limited due to Covid restrictions.
Good products, but Im always low!
Be aware when you try to apply their credit card and try to take the $25 off of same day purchase. The temporary card link they sent does not work and no one in the store in their yellow shirt will try to help you to get the $25 off you are eligible to have. I have my credit score deduction for what? Nothing. I wish there is an option to cancel the application. Ikea once again disappoint me. Their customer service is only as good as the price tag of their products. I really need to stop being cheap and stop buying their stuff now
Found lots of good stuff, and the food court is opened
Do you like to eat meat ball? Try the best from Europe... the food from Ikea Restaurant is very simple but really delicious!!!! Also Salmon is great!!! Very fresh!!! Try the ikea Restaurant!!! Go.. go... go!!!
Good furniture when youre first starting out. Great storage solutions for when youve gone too far!
It’s fine if you open at 10am but please correct your pickup hour. Need to wait for 30minutes until the store open. Waste of time:(
This is an amazing place!Due to the pandemic they provided disposable things for eating. And it’s so much safer! And much more organized!
Its like a maze and you wind up going in circles if you dont pay attention, very annoying! Some very good products for a good price, some things not so good, also you have to assemble many things. Good selection, overall I like it!
A few weeks ago, we went to buy a mattress but it cant fit into our SUV. A IKEA employee in the parking lot helped us a lot and spent 15 minutes fold that mattress and fit into our car.Thank you and appreciate it.
Very nice store that has everything but it is very big. I wish I had motorized cart to ride around in.
Drove two hours to find out they had zero out of three items I came there for despite saying they were in stock. Even their in-store computer said it was in stock and available for delivery but the shelves were empty. It was a huge waste of time. Also, I tried asking employees for a pencil and paper, they acted like I had two heads. They told me I was out of luck.
I came a weekday. Didn’t have problem to find parking. Everything very organized and clean. Food is so above average and very good coffee.
Actually zero stars. The workers here are incompetent, rude and lack basic manners. I refuse to acknowledge this as a real business. This is a third world level of bad its unreal.
Love ikea. This location is super crowded on weekends . Billing takes a long time . Even in week days 80% of the billing counters are closed and long wait times . Product wise I like the quality and ease of install.. easy return policies. Parking in this location is crazy. I like Elizabeth location better .. overall good experience
Decent pricing and after you find what you came for its fun walking through store and doing a little extra shopping.
Ikea website ia very misleading when shopping online. Despite the fact that they don’t have items in inventory, they still advertise them on their website and you are still able to add these items to the cart. When you try checking out, half of the items are out of stock! This process is very misleading and frustrating. They need to update their technology and provide greater transparancy to their customers. I have called a handful of times and everyone tells me that they don’t have access or information on the warehouse. This is unacceptable! What company doesn’t allow staff to have access to warehouse/ inventory. How are they suppose to do their jobs?
Love IKEA all the stuff in my house is from there. I even have a bedroom set from 22 years ago. Still in great condition.
Horrible experience. I had 2 employees ( including a store manager) help me find a certain Xmas tree. There were 2 different ones but BOTH had the same price point. There was a huge price difference when I was rung up. The 2 employees confimed that there was a lower price on that tree. The store manager -annMarie refused to match the price that she even said was on there. I felt unwelcome as a customer.. Horrible customer service
We were in and out quickly because we knew what we were getting and went directly to the warehouse. Everything went smoothly and staff were super friendly. However, the zig-zag queue-line was very difficult to navigate with our heavy, furniture-laden cart. If there was another way to get into the queue we didnt see it right away. But other than that we were very pleased with our experience!
Good place. for home
Very helpful greet staff. Directed me right where I wanted to go. Checkout staff also great. The staff makes the difference at IKEA. Go.
Excellent place you dont want to leave, and friendly service love it,will go back
Quick and easy shopping. Had the things that I couldnt get in Brooklyn. I wish they had the click and pickup option. Was nervous the whole way there that the items I wanted would be sold out from under me. Thankfully we got everything remaining on our list.
As long as you had all of your paperwork updated no problem at all.
1st floor is retail and the second floor is model house. You can have a look at the furniture and the model houses and kitchen setup in the second floor and pick it up in the first floor.125 people capacity restaurant is not top notch restaurant. You will extraordinary lunch with great quality. I tried salmon fillet and salmon ball. Better to reserve and go thru website during busy hours.Parking is huge and remember the color and number where you parked.
Very clean and modern, the staff are very attentive and always willing to help. My first time going and for sure will be back. Impressive
Awful waiting times for curbside pickup.Order delayed more than 1:30h after original pickup window. So what’s the point of online ordering?Would have been faster to go inside the store and get the item myself.
1. This IKEA basically has no products available. All of the items we were interested in purchasing all had tags “temporarily unavailable”.I’ve also witnessed customers asking employees about this and the employees were so rude about it too. When asked if they had certain products she replied with “if you don’t see it, we don’t have it. We hadn’t had that thing for months”.Umm, I heard it and thought wow, that was really rude and the tone she spoke in had such an attitude. A professional would’ve mentioned, “I’m sorry about…let me check…would you like to see if it’s online?”But she had no interest in helping those people, I felt bad.2. If your products are open, IKEA will only give you store credit no matter what. I saw a customer trying to return an item in front of us and they were only allowed store credit and they were shocked and upset about it. Make this clear. I am writing for those people.3. Restaurant / Cafe workers, especially cashiers have no patience and willingness to work with customers. Eye rolling and no courtesy from employees to be expected.4. Ate some ice cream, but they accept card only, no cash cause of those silly kiosk order systems. However, the ice cream was horrible and the cinnamon buns were disgustingly made on August 16 especially. The quality and amount in those fast food areas of IKEA fluctuate so much it’s ridiculous.5. As mentioned in another review, horrible return experience with long lines. Employees don’t understand how tap technology works and will tell you that card numbers are different and accuse you of stealing? That’s how Apple Pay / Tap works.Despite returns having gone through and them receiving the items needed…I was there for 20 minutes.Don’t go to IKEA. They use illegal wood too.
I went to the Pax design department on Saturday and the staff was very rude as unusual. She asked u to sign your name on the paper but never called your name accordingly. She only answer questions depends on who she would like to pick. If u question her, she only back to you “hold on” without even look at you. She walked away to ask someone else if they had questions, ignoring me totally standing right next to her desk and waiting in “line” for long time. I don’t understand what’s wrong with her. The most disappointing experience I ever had in ikea store.
Lies about product availability. I come over 45 minutes to this location for an items I put request in for when they are restocked. I received text messages yesterday. I also checked the web page for the Paramus lovation several times throughout the day so that I wont waste time traveling to this place. The oaramus store NEVER SAID LOW IN STOCK each time I checked. What a freaking waste of TIMW & GAS
If youve ever been to an IKEA youve been to all the IKEAs. I went because my daughter had never been to one. Its off her bucket list and Ill probably never go to another IKEA for any reason. Its fun for an hour or so.
Completely disorganized! Website claimed the had the Samla bin I wanted in stock, ... all they had was the lid and DISPLAY ONLY of the item I wanted. 2 cases of 2 different lids without the containers! Display amd shelf tag of the Variea type of container was downstairs glued to the shelf.. the item was upstairs... really
Was not very busy going on a Wednesday morning. I spent about an hour walking through, getting the items and checking out. The staff I spoke with were very helpful and I used the express checkout.
Love ikea but the stock issues are so upsetting and some employees are extremely rude and unaccommodating. Hopefully it gets better.
Nice place for the famely and they have a lot of stuff you need for the home with Good price
Although the concept was great, loved the layouts of the rooms and such.. the experience was hectic and overwhelming. My husband and I went there for just a fun time and possibly some food. When we got there the line for food was absolutely ridiculous. As we started to walk through it was very overwhelming and my husband started to feel sick, we decided to leave but it took us through the ENTIRE store before we could get out. It also seemed the store was insisting we needed to buy something in order to leave. In the end it took us about an hour to get through the store and we hopped over a barricade to find our way to our car. Bitter.
Picked up some preorder and the delivery experience was great with tonnes of parking. !
Not as efficient or organized like before. Hard to know or find the price for many items. Internet dead zone. Plants are uncared for, dried up. New self check out counters are a welcome addition but it keeps asking for zip codes for mass marketing. Look for the declime survey button. And bring your oen bags.
Love Ikea. Its fun and a weird shopping experience. Feels like an outing not shopping
If you want to leave, good luck. Couldnt get out, freaked me out.
Just as regular IKEA store but what’s annoying is that most of the products are always sold out and no one is in the rush to restock. Spent hours choosing furniture to find out empty shelves at the warehouse in the end. If you have time, better go to a bigger IKEA at other locations.
Ikea is always a super cool store to go to. The meatballs are great too.
Ikea is a wonderful store with a wide variety of items for every household.
Good luck getting proper customer service over the phone if you order delivery and assembly.
Amazing staff, prices and selection! First time ever going there but we will definitely be going back! (Even with the 2 hour drive each way!)
Good experience with many many practical products for the home.
I used the click and collect which is a nice service, however, finding the pick up area was not so easy. The only sign to guide you is part way up the ramp to the second level of the parking garage. The second level is only accessible from one side of the building so its pretty confusing. I had to wait about a half hour for my order to be brought to the car. They were very busy. Otherwise, things were pretty smooth. They even loaded my items for me. I suggest checking the package size, which is available under product description, to make sure it will fit in your vehicle. I saw some people struggle.
Their pickup procedures is a flaming hot mess. After arriving within the appointment slot that I was given it seems as though they take one person every 30 minutes. Being number 20 in line for over 30 minutes is unacceptable. Seems like they do not have enough employees to work. Whats worse is this is after work and Im sitting in the car starving and their restaurant closes and they tell us they close after standing online for 10 min.
Sadly no 6 pack of cinnamon rolls. Also while I appreciate the wheel chairs, its very difficult to use them and shop, the little scooter carts would be such an improvement.
How can you ruin a persons shopping experience at ikea with 1000% certainty? By letting them shop at their showroom for things they dont have in stock. After spending more than an hr deciding on 7 items, you shouldnt go look for said items and find 5 of them out of stock. It wasnt even on a weekend, where I could see them running out without time to adjust. I think it means this IKEA is managed poorly. They dont value a persons time. Which is the most expensive commodity on earth. Horrible management. Go elsewhere.
I love IKEA, every time I go I realize theres always something I didnt know I needed. The prices are right.
Who doesnt like ikea lol, their food, ice cream and over all cheap and good stuff is the best anyone can ask for. We furnished our house from Ikea
This place illustrates so many great ideas for every space anywhere, even if you live in a one room
I love how IKEA designs their cubicles, and purposefully display items for you to buy them. I also love the ingenious use of items and repurposing. Always come with your measuremnt tape, your floor plan, and idea of what your would like to buy, previously researching it online, and looking up reviews. Their displays could be tad deceiving because of the height of the ceilings and their unique use of color and lighting. I do get my free coffee( with ikea family card) before heading to showroom, 4 stars for1.not being open on Sundays2.sometimes low on stock on certain items even if the website tell you it’s not3. Not so clean dining area
The meatballs. The restaurant makes you feel like you took a European vacation.
Good selection and reasonable costs. Staff is courteous. They now have self checkout which speeds things up.
Registers where quick no long waiting anymore since there is only one line for all registers. What ever you assemble be gentle the materials are very sensitive.
