Worst ever store, they sold me a brand new Movado watch for $1300, stopped working after 2 months, it was with them for next 8 months for fixing it, I got it back and it stopped working again the next day .. now its back with this store for changing parts as if they are selling me refurbished watch not new.. not willing it to replace it, rude behavior and don’t care attitude .. beware of this place & Kay Jewelers in general .. don’t loose your money & mind over such stores ..
Salesperson (I think it was actually a manager) was rude, unfortunately. I told her I didn’t know my ring size, she said I’ll find out when I purchase a ring. Then she kept trying to push me into getting a credit card, I told her I wasn’t interested. She then passed me off to some other salespeople, I guess she thought I wasn’t going to buy anything. She acted I was wasting her time. The other salespeople were much friendlier, though. Go to the other jewelry store across from this one (Helzberg?) and ask for Elaine, she was really professional and spent a lot of time with me, which I appreciated. I’d skip this store.
Maureen Thom was outstanding! She has an amazing was way of making you feel comfortable, it’s like talking to family. She’s very knowledgeable about the process, which made it such a great experience. It won’t be long before she is running her own store.
If I could give a no star rating I would. Horrible service...purchased a Color stone Necklace around April 21-23 and was told my gift would arrive on May 7th in time for mothers day which was false. When I called to receive information about my purchase I was put on hold for 20mins just to be told we dont know whats going on its now May 14 and I still havent been able to give my mother the gift I promised her thanks to the great work of Kays Jewelry. This was the 1st and will be the last time I purchase from this company. Terrible

My experience with Kay Jewelers at garden state plaza was absolutely AMAZING!!! The woman that was working there and helped me, her name is Maureen Thom, will never forget her name, made sure I was handled properly with the upmost comfort and professionalism I can ever ask for. She made sure I left there with the ring of my now fiancé dreams. Great supporter, Great Worker, Great helper, Great person! There’s not enough words to express my gratitude towards her. If you want to buy anything from this store, your best chaces are to look up online what you want and come pick up afterwards is the best way to get the best customer service . If you dont know what youre going to purchase, they will not help you

I just want to say that Janet at the garden state plaza is an amazing amazing person and she took her time and allowed me to pick out the perfect gift for my fiancé for Christmas and on top of that she helped us with our engagement ring she is truly amazing along with the rest of the employees of garden state plaza Kay’s store I will forever shop there thank you so much merry Christmas 🎄🎁

I have been purchasing jewelry and gift cards for a number of years and have had a fantastic experience each and every time. Marina, the store manager has been nothing but kind and accommodating each time I needed a Christmas, Birthday and just gift in general, especially my sisters wedding bands. I would highly recommend this Kay Jewelers store at the Garden State Plaza to anyone.
Really disappointed with the costumer service at this store. If go there to buy something they would do anything to help you but once you have and issue with the product that you bought they either ignore you or give you and attitude.I had purchased my wife engagement ring, and a few movado watches and when I need to get them repair there is always an issue.I took my wifes engagement ring because a diamond fall off and they told us it would be fix within 2 weeks and it has been a month and so far nothing has happened. Been to the store more than 3 times and no luck with getting the ring back. I would never purchase anything from Kay jewelry EVER again!!!
I had the best experience shopping for a few items at this store an associate by the name Loli helped me out with picking the perfect gifts for my mother. Her awesome personality and willingness to help got me through the stress of last minute shopping. I will definitely be shopping there again very soon!
I have to give a big thanks to manager Janet and associate Loli at this location for taking care of me and my FIANCE today. They truly went over the call of duty to make sure we both left happy. I had an issue with a purchase i made at a different location and they made sure the problem was fixed. To add they have made me a fiance. Thank you again.
My experience with Kay has been unprofessional and disappointing. The staff including the managers are not capable to assist the client. Instead of clarifying your doubts they confuse you even more and provide you with wrong information. Making me call corporate back and forth and leaving me with a debt that’s three times my budget. Kay does not put the costumer first instead they will trick you and once you sign they will ignore your calls and appearance once you show up to the store. I feel like Kay took advantage of me and did not clarify pricing along with the interest. I do not recommend them and especially if you are trying to get engaged because they will take advantage of you and will trick you into getting the most expensive ring regardless of what you can afford.

I have been engaged for a little over 6 weeks now and the ring that my fiance proposed to me with is absolutely beautiful, its everything I could have pictured it to be. Unfortunately, Kay Jewelers has turned what is supposed to be a happy time for the both of us into an absolute NIGHTMARE! Just a little over 1 week ago one of the baguettes fell out, I had only had the ring for 5 weeks and could not believe that a stone had already fallen out. My fiance went to the store and was told it would take at the least 10 days for them to get it back to us. We are in the middle of planning an engagement party and 10 days is just unacceptable. We received the ring back 3 days later and after wearing it for just 2 days the very same baguette fell out. We were absolutely disgusted by the lack of care they had taken with the ring and went back to the store. The store manager who we had not seen before expressed to us that they screwed up and my ring should not have been resized from a 6.5 to a 4.5 because it would damage the structure of the ring. Well, no one told my fiance that when he purchased the ring. He stressed to us that we would always have issues with that particular ring and suggested we take a custom sized ring to avoid further issues. He was apologetic over the fact that I have a sentimental attachment to the ring that my fiance got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with but apologies will not give me that emotional attachment back. I now have to give up my original ring and wait for a new one while wearing a ring with a missing baguette. I can not believe how this company treats their customers and with that being said we will not be returning to purchase our wedding bands. The sales team has absolutely no clue what they are doing!! I would like to personally thank Kay Jewelers for taking away the sentimental value of my engagement ring!!
I wish I can give several different reviews because of different experiences I’ve had with them. I haven’t had the best of luck with their jewelry.Middle diamond of enagagement ring fell out 1st week of having it, this time the necklace my husband purchased the chain broke for no reason and diamond pendant went missing!Anyway, after contacting Kay corporate they fixed the issue and Chris the associate manager at this location helped me out. Thank you Chris and for your assistance I truly appreciate it. I give 5 stars for customer service not for the product fyi

The workers are very very nice there. I have no complaints about them. However, I went through hell to get this ring from my boyfriend resized, the jewel replaced, etc. at first I went to a different lay jewelers to resize my 5.5 to a 6. This was a NIGHTMARE (Paramus Park Mall). Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service experience, and was basically forced into getting a Kay jewelers credit card in order to resize my ring... but that’s a whole different issue. So I got my ring resized and it fit perfectly! One of the stones ended up falling out and went missing so I used my replacement plan to replace it. Everything was great and the service was wonderful, however when I got my new ring back it was not a size 6, even though I made sure they all understood that I resized it to a 6 somewhere else. I’m not sure if it was a mistake in making the ring, but it measured between a 5.5 and 5.75. And let me tell you, the 1/4 makes a big difference. I can barely get my ring off without cutting my finger because of the way it is made and it’s size. I’m just very disappointed that nothing has gone right and now I can’t even wear my ring. I do not want to keep paying when I shouldn’t :(
