We have been to may dealerships, and this is by far the best experience we have ever had purchasing a new vehicle . Jacob was helpful, and very informative. This was well worth the drive.

My husband searched high and low for a new Honda Civic for our daughter and all of the other dealers gave us the runaround in the DFW area. They all had $5k worth of additional add -ons and were hard to work with. He called Mathews Honda and they didn’t try any gimmicks, they gave us a good deal without having to negotiate. There were no hidden costs and no pressure to buy ridiculous extras, they were very easy to work with. The bonus is that they delivered to our door when they found out we live 2 hours away! They have earned our loyalty and we will never buy a Honda elsewhere. I would highly recommend them, it’s worth the call.

I spent a long time trying to find a quality used CR-V for my nephew and not one of those bait-and-switch tactics that was happening with the dealers in McKinney. The deal was exactly what was on their website. Then I ended up buying a Pilot for myself since they were so straight forward with everything. Thanks Craig and Mathews Honda! When in on Saturday was offered a deal on a car. My wife went back Monday signed for the original deal. To get told she would pay a different price. Then they refused to negotiate with me about it said they put more money in the deal than it was worth. Mind you we both have excellent credit. I would have made a deal with them if they would have worked with me but Ill take my business else where.

I had my 02 Honda Odyssey in today my on a recall I dont know was ever fixed or not but I seen things on the car fax report I never knew like my van was totaled out before and in 2017 witch I Never knew before buying.I was shocked Greens motors never told me. I found out hail damage. so I got my oil change done too. A bunch of stuff I never knew. Blows my mind.Heres my question why didnt my maintenance required light didnt go off what is it telling me. My Honda decided to die in the middle of nowhere while I was traveling, and though I was able to get a jumpstart and make it into town, I still had issues the next day. The good folks here had me back on the road in no time, didn’t charge me a dime, and even wore out my pup playing with him so that he slept peacefully on the next leg of our road trip. I was shopping online and found a car I was interested in purchasing, so I filled out the preapproval form online. The next day I get a text, not a call, asking if they could run my credit, now I dont have horrible credit, but it isnt the best and I am continuing to work hard at raising my credit score. I saw on their website they can work with less than perfect credit and do everything in their power to get you financed, so I believed them. Well, through a text I was told they couldnt approve me, never once a phone call. They shouldnt put this on their website if they cant follow through with it. Oh, but another dealership got me approved with no problem what so ever. I understand that it is ultimately up to the finance company, but please dont put straight up lies on your website. I really hope this review helps others to not believe everything you read on this website. They are false.Edit: I absolutely love how they put the blame on me for their incompetence. Because my voicemail box was full that means you cant talk to me like a human, you have to text. This place is a joke, and why in the world would I call back after they denied me and I found another dealership that was much better all around, and got me into a car in a few short hours. Thanks but no thanks. I am spreading the word about this joke of a business. Oh, and they will put like 4-5 inquiries on your credit report. I am reporting them for that nonsence.

I have been a Honda fan for quite a few years. The last Honda I purchased was a good vehicle but after reviewing all the documentation, which came in the mail about three weeks after the vehicle purchase, I was surprised to see that numbers had changed and services added that I dont remember authorizing. I fell in love with the new Honda Accord Hybrid I saw at Mathews Honda but was a little bit leery of going through the sales process. I made up my mind on figure I would offer for the vehicle thinking Mathews Honda would never accept and I would walk away. As it turned out, Mathews Honda gave me a price, before I had given them my price offer, that was only a couple of hundred dollars different from what I had already decided to spend. I couldnt be happier with their friends and family pricing. They made this the best car purchase I have ever had in 50 years of new car purchases. Everyone at Mathews Honda was friendly and helpful answering all my questions. Depending on how much time I have left on this Earth I will definitely buy my next vehicle from Mathews Honda.

Robert Castle was an excellent salesperson. He was so great at working with us to get approved and get the deal we wanted. They even put a new set of tires on once we saw issues with the tires on the vehicle we chose.My only Complaint would be with Mr Bentley, when Robert put papers on his desk to review with us and sign he literally threw a fit. Later he complained he was ready to go home. He was angry and it showed in his customer service skills. He complained about not having the payoff to my vehicle when Robert had already verified the exact amount. He pushed through and tried to have a friendly demeanor so I guess that’s a positive.

Mathews Honda of Paris committed fraud by certifying a car that did not meet Honda’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle standards. On March 22, we purchased a 2016 Honda Odyssey from this dealership. In our initial walk around we observed a broken driver’s side mirror and worn tires. Two surprising things to find on a CPO which supposedly had passed their inspection- but WE notified them of the issues; they would have sold us the car as is if we hadn’t pointed out the damage to them. The dealership fixed the mirror and assured us the tires met Honda’s standards for CPO. Because we have been loyal Honda customers for a long time, we trusted the dealership and we purchased the vehicle. That was our big mistake. They lied on their inspection to classify the vehicle as a CPO when it did not meet the minimum standards. That is fraud.Here is how we know it is fraud: One week after purchase we wanted to get another opinion on the tires. We went to two other Honda dealerships and both told us the tires were well below the minimum standards. We were given a written report rating the tires at ½ the minimum standard for CPO and significant cracking all around each of the 4 tires. The report recommended the tires be replaced immediately for safety reasons. A CPO vehicle should not need anything to be repaired or replaced immediately. Their inspection falsely claimed the vehicle met Honda’s standards. We know it did not. That is fraud.We informed Mathews Honda of these concerns and they told us even if we brought the vehicle back for them to re-inspect, they would not do anything about it. Both the Service Manager and General Manager dismissed our complaint saying that the vehicle met Honda’s standards when they certified it. Their inspection report checked that there was no cracking in the tires. That is false. Two different Honda dealerships were shocked that a Honda dealership would sell us a CPO with tires in this condition. Mathews Honda of Paris was at best careless in its inspection and when given the chance to address our concerns, they refused.I have never worked with a dealership that was so intent on not doing the right thing for their customer. Mathews Honda says they treat customers like family. If this is how they treat their family, I’m glad I’m not part of it. We will never purchase a vehicle from anyone associated with this dealership again and would caution others not to as well.

I went to the dealership on 3/8/2021 to test drive a 2017 CR-V I had been looking at online. When I got to the dealership I was asked by every male employee I came in contact with where my husband or dad was. Im 27 years old and 7 months pregnant. I thought this was very rude and unprofessional but I needed to get a bigger car with a baby on the way so I just ignored it. Craig was my salesman and he was nice enough through the process. When I was test driving the CR-V I asked why it was so loud and I was told it was just louder than the 2017 Civic I had and I believed that. Making a deal and getting the car at a price I was comfortable with was great. Bentley was very sweet and respectful the whole time and helped me get a good price, extended warranty, and gap insurance. My main issue started about a week after having the car, the loud sound that I was hearing when I did the test drive kept getting louder and louder. I took the car to the tire shop close to me that I have always used and they told me that the tires were all worn uneven because of the alignment. I was told the tires might flatten out the more I drove it and the sound might go away. It did not it is very very loud now and if I dont have music on really loud I dont even want to drive the car. The tire shop in town told me that the only way to fix it was to get 4 new tires and have the alignment fixed. I texted Craig that same day to see what the dealership could do to help, he basically told me there was nothing they were willing to do. So I have a car I just got that Im about to have to spend another $1,000 on so I can enjoy driving it. I am very unhappy with the outcome of buying this car and if I knew this is what was going to happen I would not have bought it I would have gone somewhere else. On top of this, the dealership failed to get the car inspected and I had to go wait for an hour and have it done myself. This was the second car I purchased here and I will not be buying another one here.

Mathews Honda is amazing. They treat you like a person and not a number. After looking at dealerships in the DFW area I found them and made the drive to Paris after seeing their good prices and minimal add ons (3) like other dealers. (One of their competitors in DFW had 4k worth of add ons.)They transferred my license plates for me even though I didnt trade in a vehicle. They even delivered my car to my home in Dallas free of charge. They have made a customer for life. I would give more stars if I could.

Worst car shopping experience of my life. Went in to look at a few cars and decided i was gonna get a honda fit. Went in to do the credit check for financing and was told i have 0 credit. Told me i had zero credit history. Turned me down immediately. Humiliating experience for me and my child.

The staff is great. Jakob found a few options to fit my budget and helped me every step of the way. They even fed me lunch. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

I’m always greeted pleasantly by Susan who runs the front desk at the service department. She gets me checked in quickly and I sit in the comfortable waiting area while my car is being fixed. Susan keeps me informed during the process. I don’t want to go anywhere else for service on my vehicle. Orr Honda always makes what I consider a difficult situation much easier to handle.
