Rude man behind the meat counter. Asked a simple question, can you get someone who can speak English?, because I cant speak Armenian and he didnt seem to get me. Then he proceeded to yell at me in Armenian while walking away. This is America, of course, there will be someone who cant speak Armenian. How is that warranted rudeness?Its unfortunate, as food-wise, its a decent place. You might be able to get in in a nice day where you dont have to encounter that man.

It was a fun little market to stop in at and explore. The manager and staff were friendly, the llace was very clean and organized, good prices, well lit. I just chanced on the place when I went across the street to Patticakes bakery and I saw it and said to the family Hey, that market looks nice, lets buy some stuff to make sandwiches.

They do not have many items that they should have as an Armenian super market. They do not have good rice brands...and they are always under staff.They only positive point for them is the cleanness of the meat department.

Great fresh produce and bread. For a small store they have lots of items, some hard to find

Lovely little market with outstanding produce, breads (try the black bread), cheeses and nice selection of cookies (some are even low sugar, but still a great treat!). Oh, and I should also mention the nuts and dried fruit.

Dont buy peaches! They are sour and have cracked and dry pits. That is, peaches were collected green from the tree and brought to maturity artificially, using chemistry.

Great quick place to get authentic groceries. aisles are small but the selection is good for Middle Eastern food

I love this market. It reminds me of the great ethnic markets in New York City. Although small, they have a terrific deli counter, and the store has products you wont easily find elsewhere. The butcher shop is excellent, the store is always clean and well stocked, and the staff is friendly.

Lovely local market with an amazingly diverse stock of food - Fresh, refrigerated, meats, cheeses, wine, and snacks. Friendly and helpful folks every time I shop there.

Best little corner store

A gem on north Allen Ave. Set on the corner in a residential neighborhood, Armen market sells middle eastern foods; ingredients and ready to eat things. Fresh produce, bulk and packaged nuts, deli counter, too much to list here. Wonderful place to run into when you just need a few things.

Great meat dept and very decent prices overall. Isles a bit cramped, but no biggie.

They close at 7:50 pm.

An out of the way market that caters to the nearby Armenian community. Non Armenians will be impressed with the fresh, high quality food at low prices. We particularly enjoy the French Feta available at the deli.

A nice selection of fresh fruit and vegetables plus a wide range of international food.

Fresh products, owner very hands on. Enough parking, this prices. What else do you want?

This be place is great, a small well stocked, great authentic deli, lots of organic options and family owned.

Try their BBQ Pork or Chicken. In summer they get tomatoes from Fresno that are better than anything you can get in a big chain grocery. Nice selection of Armenian foods too, of course.

Very nice Armenian or Persian (not sure which) grocery store with meat/kebab shop. They have lavash, bread sticks, nuts, lebni and other med products you wont see in regular grocery stores. Very clean store and staff are nice as well. The only thing is, I miss their nuts in barrels. They are now pre-packed. They said it is the same but when I tasted,its not. Specially the roasted and salted cashew. Before, it was crisper and a bit sweet. Nownits just not the same.

First time going. It was a great experience. Goid customer service and they have everything you need.

Meat from their butcher has given me and my loved ones diarrhea on more than one occasion. Twice I have purchased meat that smelled seriously rancid. I made the mistake of giving them one more chance this week. I purchased ground beef. We consumed it and now are sweating and farting and taking turns crapping our pants off in the bathroom. On the real. I apologize for the details, but people beware please. Its no coincidence! Its not right!

Excellent hummus, fresh produce, their meat selection is limited, but high quality and we love their marinated meats. Great source for imported cookies and candies. Wide selection of pita and lavosh and other Armenian specialties.

This is my go to local market especially for produce. Prices are often half of the prices at the local major supermarkets. Has a nice deli counter featuring Boars head meats.

Cool neighborly atmosphere with sophisticated food choices as well as a huge variety of vegetables, cheeses, nuts, and all Armenian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and more. The very friendly employees make you feel home even those who only speak Armenian and you dont.

This place is just not my type of market. More dried, canned, frozen and packages goods. Limited selection of fresh produce and meats.

My wife went in there today to buy produce for our dinner. She got home and noticed the woman at the Checkout register didnt bag some tomatoes. She went back immediately (its only a 5min drive from our home). What shouldve been an easy thing turned into questioning my wifes honestly and integrity. The manager proceeded to check his surveillance video to make sure what my wife was saying had merit. All of this infront of our 5 year old son. We will never be shopping here again.

This a pleasant little neighborhood grocery store dedicated to fare from Central Asian through North Africa through the Mediterranean region.

They have a wide selection. With the Vons gone they definitely can replace quick trip shopping without problem.
