I can’t say enough great things about Bikes Plus! The lady that helped me was amazingly helpful and attentive. She answered all my questions and was efficient. The bike was in perfect condition and met my all my needs/expectations for my errands and exploration. Bonus - she had a beautiful accent.One other thing I appreciated is that the store sold honey stinger waffles. They were great to have on hand since I was biking in the 90 degree heat!

I have used Bikes Plus on Palafox twice and there’s just not better people to do business with. And they know their stuff. I highly recommend them for anything related to your bike. Just stopped in expecting to leave my front tire for a few days and walked out with my tire repaired in five minutes! And that’s not an exaggeration!

Super awesome experience. Helped my friend pick out a bike for just what he needed and they didnt try and sell us something we didnt need. While I borrowed a bike as well while he test rode the ones he was looking at they probably sold me on one as well as I plan to go back soon and get it.

Son ran over a roofing nail on his EV Bike. They took it right in, put a new tube in it. Took 15 minutes, bought a spare tube to carry with him. Outstanding service.

After looking forever for a new mountain bike, I finally got what I was looking for here. The entire staff was extremely helpful and never pushy. I mostly dealt with Eric and he was willing to go above and beyond by tweaking the overall setup and multiple components to get it just right for me. Best bike purchase experience Ive had to date.

I go to this shop a good bit for parts and accessories, plus I used to send people looking for bikes or repairs here. Recently my experience was quite different than what I had grown accustomed to in the past. For the first time I had to return something and w as instantly blamed for breaking it to my face even though i know I carefully handled the part. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years and rule 1 is not to blame the customer right?!? Ok i can get over that whatever thePart was replaced and let’s move on. So I decide to leave for a bit and walk downtown. The employee was unaware the people in the shop were friends and from what I was told there were lots of open complaints and things toBe said about me once I left the store. The bike I had up definitely had some minor damage but every part on it had over 3000 miles on it except for the rear tire, brakes, tail light, pedals, mini pump, and the 3 tubes I had gone thru in the last year. (all of which were purchased at Bike’s Plus) since returning to the shop and having a friend get parts installed It seems I was still a topic of complaint. I will unfortunately not be personally shopping here or recommending friends here based on unprofessional things that could have easily not been said or apologized for. I know In any of my retail jobs I would have been written up or terminated for blaming a customer without absolute no proof or bad mouthing them openly when they leave in an open shop environment. Lucky for me I had friends in the shop that were able to tell me this so I know to take my business elsewhere.. suck though the shop and inventory is greatAND I live and work downtown..On well i will have to find another shop.

Best customer service at a bike shop in Pensacola that I found. I stopped by a few other shops before deciding this is the shop for me. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and they listen to your needs. They dont try to sell you on something just to make a sale. If youre looking for a bike, its definitely worth your time to check this shop out.

I visited friends for a week and was looking to rent a bike, NOT a beach cruiser. They let me test ride multiple bikes, made adjustments to the bikes to help me with my test rides, and were super helpful with my inquiries and requests. Ultimately, I ended up renting one of their used bikes and then purchased it after the rental period. I LOVE it! They tuned it up real nice for me and applied the rental fee to the purchase price. WHO DOES THAT???... these guys. They know how to gain loyal customers. This is now my local bike shop when I visit the area. Thanks for the hospitality! See you soon.

Honestly probably the best place to buy bike gear in florida. Hell they even fix bikes if you have one you dont want to get rid of.

We bought 2 bikes from this shop today; 1 mountain bike and 1 dual sport. The man and woman that were working could not have been more helpful. We were given pros and cons of different bikes and found two that fit our needs perfectly. The man even installed our bike rack on the car and showed us how to secure the bikes to it. Super awesome experience.

I have been cycling on in off since 2007. Bikes Plus took the time to teach and help me. I am now a seasoned commuter, I just updated my bike this past week at bikes plus on 9 mile. Again this service and helpfulness was Unmatched! Love these guys! Bikes Plus will always be my hometown bike shop!

Bought a throne proof tube friday, was flat on monday, steam ripped out of tube,they say that cant happen . I am now stuck in west Pensacola with a flat.Now have to pay a taxi so my bike can be fix with the proper materials. I will never support your business ever, rude people.

They were extremely amazing. Super helpful and even found me a cheaper bike seat in the back to save me about half of the money I would have spent. I will definitely be using them for all of my future bike needs.

What a great place! I was able to get my bike back on the road without breaking the bank, and the turnaround time was phenomenal.When the costs were more than I planned for due to unexpected damages found during repair (broken axle), they helped me out by giving me a wheel off an old bike that was donated to the shop for parts earlier in the day. This was quite the God-send, as I couldnt afford a new wheel and my bike is my only mode of transportation.Thanks again, Chris, you really saved the day. I have found my go-to bike shop in town and will definitely be coming back.

Such a wonderful shop. We are on tour and needed two tires but was 12 miles out with a headwind. He made sure to stay open till we could make it. Got there 20 minutes before he closed and we got the tires and he helped us to put them on. Thank you so much.

I live in Alabama and Florida, so I see a lot of bicycle shops. This shop, hands down, is the best shop, I know, in both states. They always have my bike running, the same day, and their prices are way cheaper than their competitors. Please support this business, they deserve it!

I left here with a big smile and a bike ready to roll. I purchased the wrong sized chain and even wrecked a couple of links trying to put it on at home. We I brought the bike to them and they diagnosed the problem, changed out our chain for no fee and even put some plugs on my handlebar (Ive been scared of spiders crawling out while I ride and yet hadnt done anything about it!). Eric is so genuinely caring and provides top notch customer service. He is fair with his prices and is a beautiful addition to the downtown Pensacola community. If another one of our bikes needs repair Ill be kind of happy to visit the shop again, ha!

Biught a bike online missing an axel nut for front wheel They searched for at least 10 minutes until finding the exact one I needed then gave it to me for free. Ive always had well above-and-beyond service from Bikes Plus, and have bought numerous bikes from them. These comments relate specifically to their new Palafox location, which replaced their previous store on Barrancas.Its a smaller shop,quite charming, in the heart of downtown. Their flagship brand is -Trek- (EDIT: Fuji & Scott are now the primary lines, and Trek is gone), but Ive also bought Surly through them. Service turnaround at this location is quite good. So is the amount of stock they keep, particularly in view of the limited floor space. Ive know Karen, the location manager, and Eric, the owner, for years. I trust them. Theyre still my local bike shop.

Man. This business just gave me a little faith that there are still some good people in this corrupt world we live today. These guys really seem to care about there custmers rather than just making a dollar. By far the best bike shop in town. My second time going there and they went FAR and ABOVE i could ever imagine. Yesterday i stopped by a new bike shop n town and without even looking at my bike told me it would be $20 for the part (which turned out not even being the part i needed and $20 labor. Stopped by bikes plus this afternoon the guys find me a used part and even put it on for $10.. You cant beat that service anywhere. Only regret that i didnt have more $ on me to give them a bigger tip! Thanks guys!!

Eric did full tune up on my bike and went above and beyond on his thoroughness and friendliness. After having a bad experience with Mark at Truly Spokin I will always be going to bikes plus even though it is out of my way to go there. I can tell you one big difference between Bike Plus and Truly Spoken is that at bikes plus if you come in off the street and need a simple adjustment like checking air pressure in tires or to change a chain they will be way more helpful than Truly Spokin will be. Customer service and just being friendly is hard to find now days and Bikes Plus is by far the best customer service and genuine caring that I have seen at a bike shop in Pensacola area. I have tried out Ride More bikes, Bikes plus, and both Truly Spoken locations. I know there are a few more lbss in Pensacola which may be good too that I havent tried yet, but Im sticking with Bikes Plus.

I went downtown bmx riding and had no money on me when my tire poped he gave me a tube and let me use his tools to change it, The next time i went downtown i brought the man 20 bucks for giving me one for free and he tried so hard to deny it. Great guy great work i trust them with all my bikes and will only go there for now on.
