We stopped by Bob Tyler Toyota on a whim as we were headed to another dealership, and were met in the parking lot by a greeter who escorted us inside to meet Scott Gilreath. We were very specific on the car we wanted and he gave us a tour of all available vehicles and patiently explained the differences between the models and the years. There was absolutely no pressure and he made it seemed like our interests were most important. We didn’t look any further, mostly due to the service we received. Overall great experience for my granddaughters first car purchase on her own.
I had the best car buying experience ever with Clayton Gagliano at Bob Tyler Toyota. Clayton listened to my needs and that I had a timeline to keep for a cross country move. He kept an eye on my car to make sure it would be delivered on time and it was actually a day early. He came in on his day off to have it ready when I arrived. I closed on my house on Wednesday so I had my dog with me for the car purchase and everyone at the dealership was so nice and accommodating. Austin the Finance manager also did an amazing job and made it all easy. They all made it easy when it could have been a stressful day.
Been indifferent about getting either a Silverado or a Tundra and I would say after talking to Randy about the tundra, Im sold. Randy was super knowledgeable about the vehicles on the lot and very professional. If your looking into purchasing or vehicle specs in general, I would ask for Randy.

I have purchased 3 vehicles from Bob Tyler. My 3rd time was the smoothest-went for a car service, told them I was interested in a trade. No fast talk, gave Stacey Conley the specifics. They didnt have what I wanted, he informed me it would be there in 5 days, which I was fine with. They did have a hybrid, which due to my ignorance of hybrids, I was leery. Stacey took the time to educate me, and after I saw the gas mileage, and the warranty behind the technology, I was sold on it. He was very respectful and treated me as the owner, equally, not just my husband, as it is my car. Shelby in finance was very detailed and thorough on the paperwork, answered questions when we had them, and knowing it was my car, and I was making the deal, put me first on the paperwork. This sounds like a minor detail, but this is the first time as a married woman ever has my name gone first on financial paperwork without us having to ask. That touch of respect, knowing it was my vehicle absolutely noticed and I am humbly thankful for that. Stacey and Shelby make a great respectful, efficient, no games team. Especially for women buyers. The service department is also very respectful and the beautiful Hawaiian woman (I apologize for forgetting your name)who also talked to me about a new vehicle, youre a great asset to Bob Tyler.
Neil was the perfect salesman for me! He was determined to not only get me a good deal but earn my business by finding the right vehicle for me. He was very patient as I navigated my first new car purchase and took ample time to explain all of the pertinent details.
Takes forever to get an appointment, schedule at least three months in advance. Took our 2021 CH-R there, they didn’t close the hood all the way. 70 mph on I-10 and the hood starts shaking.**Update** I did receive a call from the dealership regarding this. It was noted that they are going to take steps to ensure the hood latch incident will not happen again. I never took into account the manning issue with scheduling an appointment, which I should be more understanding with that. But be aware when scheduling, it will take awhile. I am sure it may be better in the future. Thank you for the contact.

My family was visiting Pensacola last week and was heading back home (7 hours away), when our 2006 Avalon began to shift erratically. I was able to temporarily fix the car but wasn’t completely convinced we should continue home so I drove to Bob Tyler to have a diagnostic test performed. The service rep, Eric was helpful and kind and advised the car would make it but would need to be checked by our hometown mechanic. So we left but only made it 20 miles. Obviously the advice was wrong but being from out of town and not knowing any local, trustworthy mechanics, we again returned to Bob Tyler. I rented a car and drove my family home then returned to Pensacola. After another few hours of testing Eric informed me they couldn’t determine the root cause without additional charges and really opening the transmission. I declined the additional work but was most appreciative for the kindness and extension of service without excessive charges. I don’t typically deal with dealerships but I also don’t typically break down 7 hours from home. Eric and his colleagues were kind and accommodating.

Service rep was not assigned and did not meet me at the car. Service rep called and did not leave a message. When I called back, service rep had a question about the service I wanted but did not know the warranty rules and needed to call me back to speak to a manager. Service rep never called back. At 630pm, nearly 3 hours after I brought the car in for a 45k service, I called to see if the car was ready. I was informed that my service rep had left for the day. I had my ride drive me in to get the car before closure at 7. This is the service I have come accustomed to at Bob Tyler unfortunately. I won’t be back.
Zero stars. Long story ahead. My mom had to do warranty on our Suzuki vehicles. They are the closest vendor to Panama City to do Suzuki warranty. When my mom called, they said they don’t service Suzuki vehicles. When my mom called Suzuki customer service, they were upset they said that, since they do perform warranty work on Suzuki’s. We were finally able to get an appointment and my mom called ahead of time to confirm that the parts were in and the work could be completed in one day. She was told it could be, we just needed to arrive very early as it would take some time. We were assured it would be taken care of since we have a 2.5 hr drive to and from the dealership.On the day of, we get there before 9 o’clock Friday morning and we run into issues. They then said “oh you can come get it on Monday”. This makes us upset since we cannot drive back to Panama City as we don’t have a vehicle and all of us have taken work off far in advance for this. There is no way for us to remain in Pensacola or go back and then pick up the car. At this point, we are wasting time waiting to speak to a manager and the staff is very rude. The staff acted like we had nothing to be upset about. After arguing forever with John, Mark, and even Bob Tyler, they decided they would try their hardest to get the vehicles done. The staff was condescending and I feel that they treated us like crazy just because we were women and not dressed super fancy. Suzuki was very upset that we were having issues with their vendor and had to keep calling the dealer to settle things. The only good parts about the experience were friendly shuttle driver, Clinton, and the valet who wiped my moms car down.Bonus*** when we got my moms car back, there was a cigarette butt in her drivers floor board and grease smudges on front and back seats of the leather. Fortunately, the nice valet cleaned up the mess.We were in the market for 2 new vehicles and given our terrible experience, we purchased the new vehicles at a competing Nissan dealership with wonderful service. Take your business elsewhere.
I had a very pleasant experience with Nate Millen. I usually dread going to car dealerships but working with Nate made me want to come back just to chat with him. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and even worked with me to make my experience pleasant. I highly recommend Nate!!
Bob Tyler is a Great Dealership but there are Two things I dislike:1. The Bob Tyler decal that is placed on every new car. I don’t mind the license plate frame but Customers should be compensated for advertising and for paint repair after the obnoxious decal is removed.2. Customers do not want to watch or hear Communist Television while waiting in the lobby. Please find better programming for Customers in the waiting room.Thank you.
I have been getting all my services done on my 2011 Tacoma with Bob Tyler since 2013 without a problem. On 9/20/21, I brought my Tacoma in for my 6 month oil change which normally costs $40+. I was informed the price jumped to almost $70 and was told the price of oil had gone up. My truck takes 6 quarts of oil, so that means the price jumped $5.00 per quart. I dont think so. They cant sell cars so they are going to make it up by gouging service prices. I will not do business with Bobby boy again.

I recently bought a used car from Bob Tyler Toyota! Nate Millen was my car salesman. I honestly have so much anxiety about buying a car at a dealership because of past experiences of high pressure sales. My experience here was the complete opposite. Nate was very friendly, informative, and understanding about what I wanted and I never felt pressured. Any questions I had he answered and if he didn’t know he was honest about it and found out for me. I was in and out with my new Land Rover in a few short hours! I got a great interest rate and they didn’t run my credit through a million banks, just two. They even called Land Rover in front of me and got all my warranty info for me. I highly recommend Nate!

Went in to find my dream car. Ziad or Z in sales is amazing. Letting me drive the car and treat it like its mine, so that I know how it would be when I bought it. This was my first experience at Bob Tyler Toyota and it will definitely not be my last. I pulled up in my trade-in not really knowing what to expect. Two hours later I drove out in a brand-new Camry with more money for my trade than I was anticipating. My sales person Clayton was great! Great experience both times Ive been here. Only complaint would be having to wait a month for appointment. Glad to see employees still wearing masks (the virus didnt suddenly vanish because the governor said so). Service advisor Jessica Barron was awesome. Very personable and attentive to my needs. All the employees I dealt with were great!! I will continue to bring my Tacoma here for all my service needs.

One thing I really like is that Bob Tyler has actual product specialists who will sit with you one on one to help explain all the various features. (These days, cars like mine - hybrid Highlander - have a lot of new and confusing features that are not intuitive for most of us.)A special shout-out to Nate Millen, my product specialist, for his knowledge and patience while walking me through the maze of operations on my new vehicle.
Do NOT take you car to Bob Tyler Toyota but take it to Eastern Shore Toyota!!! The only reason I gave this a 1 star was because there was a NO star! I would not ever recommend this place to anyone! They are the most rudest people working there specially Richard Price who laughed at me in my face and HUNG UP on the me! This dealership refused to honor a bumper to bumper warranty that I literally purchased three weeks prior but they said that they could and would NOT honor the warranty! I even took this to the manger Grant Curtis who told me that it was nothing that they would or could do to help! I asked multiple people multiple times for Bob Tyler contact information to speak with him directly but of course I was told that they did not have access to his contact information ! So I took my 4runner to Eastern Shore Toyota and had an AMAZING experience and that is one place that I would recommend to anyone and everyone because they nice and glad to help their customers in way that they can!! So please take your vehicles to them and have an amazing experience !!

I don’t feel like I should have to take any of those options. I bought a car from a dealership that I though wouldn’t screw me but yet I sit here screwed. I just want my car fixed or my money back so I can buy something I can actually use. And they all lived happily ever after. NOT!!

So very disappointed!! My 72 year old mother made an appointment to have her vehicle 2014 Toyota Tundra serviced, oil change, and she had a tire that had a nail in it that only needed a plug or what ever mechanics do to fix nails in tires. Anyhow, her appointment was @ 1:45 today. She sat there in the waiting room for over 3 hours almost 4 by the time they had finished. WHY? Also, the price that they wanted to charge for the tire to be fixed was absolutely ridiculous $49.00. I do not understand why #1 she sat there when she had an appointment and #2 how you can charge someone almost $50 to fix a tire!! Let me just say she will never bring her vehicle back to Bob Tylers nor will I ever recommend anyone buy anything from them as well. Not if this is how they treat customers! Thanks for making my mother sit there for half the day when she had an appointment. I am just discussed with your service department!

I was met immediately by Tabitha Burchfield. She introduced herself and asked how can I help you. I pointed to my 20 year old Jeep and said something like that but bigger and newer. She walked over to a beautiful Jeep Cherokee Limited and said, this one is very nice. Let’s take a test ride. It had everything I wanted and more. Buying process was easy and upon leaving my purchase was announced and lights flashed and everyone clapped. It was exciting! Now I am a happy new Jeep owner !!!!

No one loves the experience of buying a new car, but even my daughter said that buying our new Tacoma with Sawyer was the best time buying a car ever! After getting in a head on collision from a guy swearing into my lane I needed a car ASAP being in the military with no close friends or family to help me out. I came to Bob Tyler from a car I saw online and when I came to check it out Sawyer met me at the door and was extremely nice and helpful from the start. We didn’t make a deal the first time but Sawyer kept in touch and got me looking at a better car (in my opinion) the very next day. Had our Sienna checked for the air bag recall at Bob Tyler. The check in was very effortless and quick. Janet was able to get me out as soon as possible and didnt have to be there the full three hours of wait time. Free coffee and donuts at the break room. And affordable vending machines. And also if you do happen to wait bring a jacket because it is cold inside.
