I started looking for an engagement ring (for my now wife) last June. I went to probably 12-15 stores and probably looked at over 2,000 rings (most online). Finally I found the band I wanted at this Zales. However, I wanted to change the stone. I ended up getting a diamond out of a different ring (still from zales) and had it put on the other band. The costumer service was the best I have ever had. Mark -I believe the manager- made everything so easy. They put the diamond on the band I wanted (at no cost to me) had it sized (twice because her finger size changed). They even had to alter the prongs of the band to fit the diamond. Overall what I experienced was the Chick-Fil-A version of a Jewelry store in customer service. We have since purchased our wedding bands there, and they will continue to have my service. Thanks Mark and Tess for making one of the most stressful times in a guys life go a little smoother. God bless

Purchased wedding ring and started wearing it in June, it broke in October. We thought no big deal, we spent the money for the lifetime warranty. So I go into the store with the ring, and the original receipt with the warranty info on it, and they tell me that because I bought the ring during a sale, I needed to pay the difference to replace it, as its not on sale right now, as well as paying for a new warranty - which we were told at original purchase. Now, I could understand paying the difference if I wanted to upgrade it, or pick a different ring, but I was trying to replace it with the same ring. So I was expecting to pay $70 and have a new ring and warranty, but instead they tried to get me for $240.Called customer service and they seemed helpful at first, the lady was supposed to call back the following day, and I havent heard from them for weeks.I am extremely dissatisfied with their customer service, and we will not spend another dime here.

Horrible Customer Service!! I went to have my wedding ring inspected and was told again they can not do that and that I could simply clean my ring at home. Highly unacceptable we will never purchase from this store again!
I ordered a pair of earrings from the website on April 21st for a anniversary present. I paid extra for the two day shipping. I still have not received the earing. I have waited on hold for over an hour. Im very disappointed in Zales I cant get a hold of anyone from customer service. I will never do business with them again.
This company has the absolute worst customer service when you place an order online. Do not recommend to anyone, and if it wasnt for having to get my ring checked every 6 months I would never come here again.
I have purchased many pieces over the years and Shelia is my personal go to gal. Ive been dealing with her for years. She is the reason i shop there when in need of new jewelry. She calls me when they are having sales going on, also to notify me of new merchandise that she know i would love to purchase. Her customer service is awesome. And the prices are unbeatable. As long as she stays an employee, ill be her number one customer!
Called this store today and asked a few simple questions and whoever the lady was that answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE!!All I had asked was if a they had a certain ring in stock..and had another question about sizes. No reason to be rude.
Me and my family have purchased many pieces of jewelry from Mrs. Sheila. She is by far the best person to help with picking the right jewelry. I recently got engaged and she went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect ring for my fiance. Never once since meeting her has she not had a smile on her face. We recommend her to everyone.
I have several awesome pieces from Zales. Kim is so awesome and helpful. I always enjoy stopping by and checking out the jewelry.
My husband bought me a aquamarine diamond eternity ring in June of 2015 about 6-7 months I had lost some diamonds out of the ring and took it for repair when I got it back it was crimped like they used pliers to squeeze it to keep stones from falling out, this past June we took our jewelry to be inspected and after they cleaned my ring I noticed I kept losing stones, yesterday I took some jewelry to be fixed including the ring and the sales lady Amanda, noticed how many stones were missing and the crimping and instead of sending it off to be fixed again she replaced the ring with a new one, and I appreciate that because I was unsatisfied the last time it was fixed, so she took care of the problem... thank you Amanda...
We have visited this Zales location at Cordova Mall multiple times and I would like to recognize an employee her name is Nicole I can say or how much can I say she is professional courteous knowledgeable and patient and the overall experience was amazing for that reason for her skills for her personality I give her my repeat business my wife and I we have visited this location multiple times because of Nicole and thank you again and keep up the great work and we will see you soon again 4 our anniversary

Yes prices are better than Kay jewelers but their customer service is by far the worst! The women in there are so rude, I hate going in there. If they had a better staff I would have probably bought earrings here but took my business elsewhere for the sole reason of the attitude of the sales associate. I have been in several times including for inspection and have never had good customer service. They act like it is a hassle to clean my jewelry, jewelry that was bought from them and thats just not good business. Hire some better sales associate and I would consider spending my money here again.

I am a long-time customer of Mappins/Zales and today I brought in my wedding ring to talk to them about how the bevels were polished off the edges. The sales woman and manager were incredibly rude, and while they may not have been able to do anything about it, their attitudes were horrendous. I know that this is a chain store, but I have had good experiences with most of their staff previously, so I was definitely shocked at how I was treated. Its really too bad for them. We have purchased all of our jewelry from this store for the last 10 years and after today, I will not be purchasing anything else from them. If you are looking for any jewelry, avoid this store. The manager is rude and arrogant and will try and intimidate you and belittle you.
Nicole, Sheila and the man with the white and black hair (Kinda salty color) are the nicest people! Zales is blessed to have them! But there is a HORRIBLY RUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDEEE brunette woman there, I believe shes in a management position. I have been there 3 times when she was there and she has been nothing but rude to my fiance and I. This zales gets a 3 star review because of people like Nicole, Sheila and the other man but if I could give it a negative 5 stars for that terribly rude brunette woman (WHO REALLY NEEDS TO BE FIRED) I would. You are a lucky store to have a rare few employees that are actually very nice.We recently had a phone call with the brunette lady because we had to call Zales back to let them know that we didnt have a special order coming in. The call went like this:Brunette Zales Employee: Hello this is Zales.My Fiance: Hello, I was calling yall back, cause yall had just called me back about a special order but we dont have a special or-Brunette Zales Employee: -Yeah, well I dont know anything about that.My Fiance: umm... okay well I just received a call about a special order that isnt mine. So I was told to give you all a call back if it wasnt my special order.Brunette Zales Employee: okay.My Fiance: Alright well I was just making sure you all know.Brunette Zales Employee: Okay bye.This lady is always like this. Zales, I would start looking for someone else to hire ASAP. Put a nice lady in charge that will bring in some good business.
Service is really bad. Not sure if its because I look young so they dont take me serious, but Ive had to go 3 times for a pearl set that I purchased, and each time I stand there waiting for at least 15 minutes before finally asking someone to help. The pearl set that was purchased is not good quality either, Ive had the post fall out of the earrings 3 times, luckily purchased the warranty and have been able to get them fixed free of charge. This most recent time the earring was supposed to be fixed 01/08/2016, and I have not heard from them, so I called 01/14/2016 and the lady was extremely rude on the phone. She put me on hold before I finished saying my customer name as asked, came back on the line and said Theyre ready and hung up, before I could say anything. Must say this location is the worst Zales Ive been to. Two of the pearl fixes were done in my former town, in Nebraska, and it was a totally different experience; even though I had to wait to be helped, they were overall much more pleasant there.
Horrible customer service. Stopped in to get all 3 of my pieces inspected and cleaned and was told I needed to have all of my booklets and she rudely informed me that I could take this to the ones in Alabama where I live now. I will never be back.
I came in to return a ring and it took forever to get someone to assist me. There were others there but too busy eating lunch to help.
