Awesome shop, great people! Took my bike in for a broken rear wheel/hub. Repair work was done in full under warranty and they were even awesome enough to let me demo a bike during the time it took for the new wheel to come in. This is now my new Trek dealer preferred shop, dont care if its a little further drive than the one closer to me.

Incredible customer service. Out for a weekend ride and got a flat tire near here. They took it within 5 minutes and was back out riding within 20 minutes. They were amazing!

All the staff was super welcoming and friendly! Some bike shops that I’ve been to before have made me feel dumb for not knowing what exactly I needed done or all the right terms, being that I am a pretty casual bike rider, but I definitely didn’t feel that way here. The service was done very quickly and efficiently and despite it having been a very busy Saturday morning for them, they gave me all the attention and help that I needed. Highly recommend!

Almost all Trek stores I have been to have an amazing staff with great customer service but this location even tops that. The store is bigger than most local Trek stores I have been to in the Philly suburbs and the floor plan is really well laid out. Can find pretty much all the Trek Accessories here. I also found this store to be following the most stringent COVID guidelines from the number of people allowed in at a time to hand sanitizing when entering the store and just general awareness of how to safely operate during a pandemic. A very special shout out to Stefan who is easily among the politest and most helpful staff member I have ever encountered anywhere. He is extremely knowledgeable about the bikes and was really helpful on the phone as well as in person. He has the unique gift of a pleasant personality coupled with the willingness to go above and beyond in helping all customers. Takes customer service to another level. Took my Domane SL 7 in for a maintenance, tire and pedal upgrade, new handle bar wrapping, some small purchases other little upgrades and I must say that the customer service was incredible!!! Vince Sulak guided me every step of the way with the upgrades and was more than patient and informative about every aspect that I inquired about along with the rest of the staff who assisted me with all other purchases from helmet to bike shoes. First class service from top to bottom. Thank you guys and will definitely be seeing you soon.

Phenomenal service! From the very first exploratory visit, to the guidance for a frame re-build, to the finished product nothing but A-plus experiences. Loved the responsiveness of both Amber and Vinnie, and the quality of the work was outstanding. Even when we hit some snags through no fault of the store, it was solved with me as a customer in mind. Purchased my first road bike here and was met with incredible customer service and care. Danny, Gary and other staff members helped me with every and any question I had in great length. Super helpful in every way Im very happy with my purchase decision. Everybody was extremely helpful and friendly. If one person wasnt an expert on a topic, they grabbed someone else in the store who was, to help answer any questions. I will definitely be a customer for life. Thank you guys for everything!

5 stars on my Trek bike. This a review of this location and not Trek as a corporation. I will not be returning to this location due to the customer service and their appeared cover-up of incorrect business processes.Understandably, bike demand has risen in the past year. The delivery dates changed multiple times (four times and four months) which did not bother me. The one time I went into the store to get an in person update, and it was delayed again, I was told “you could look at other models (to be blunt, I got the most affordable model) and they may have better lead times.” Other bikes were not in my budget and I also felt it inappropriate to try and re-sell me on a different bike when the one I ordered had not come in. I wanted the bike I had already paid for.In the same visit, I used that trip to pick out pedals. I was attempted to be pressured into a color that I did not want multiple times. I denied the highlighter yellow option that was available in the store for the black ones that required ordering/shipping from other locations.Today, when I picked up my bike I had two conversations that were the final straw.1) When I paid for the bike in November of last year I was given a discount for my veteran status. Today I was told that, that was not allowed due to “auditing reasons.” The discount total was at least maintained and transferred to the accessories I bought. However, I found this conversation very unprofessional and uncomfortable as it highlights that this location was not following corporate procedures and was trying to cover up a mistake.2) When listening to the pitch about each accessory, I finally said during the helmet and sunglasses pitches that I’d be holding off on any more purchases as I didn’t want to break my bank more than I already have. The salesman said: “Well, medical bills would be more expensive.” This was considerably rude especially considering the amount I had already paid and was paying for the bike.I love my new bike and am a fan of Trek. However, I will not be returning to this location based on the poor business practices and unprofessional sales techniques.

Exceptional service. Brought in an old mountain bike (Trek Singletrack 950) to be fixed up for my kid. Vinnie understood my price point and worked with me to understand the level of repair I needed. The outcome was better than I expected. The bike hasnt ridden this well since 1992 when I first purchased it. Give the price of the overhaul, Im shocked with the quality of the finished product. Couldnt be happier.

I want to give Trek Manayunk the highest rating!!! Awesome service, great mechanics. I reached to them last week because I needed a new helmet. Their staff was knowledgeable and recommended a great helmet for my cycling purposes. I was riding today after completing 48 miles, with about 15 left and I broke down. I brought my bike in, and they fixed it right on the spot. You can’t ask for anymore more, especially when bikes are sold out, staff may be low, in the middle of covid-19 within the biking community. I recommend anybody to hit Trek Manayunk up if you need a bike, advice on purchases, or simply to have your bike adjusted or fixed.

I’m new to the area I am looking for a local bike store for my needs. I originally went to a competitor down the road and the service was meh and I was unimpressed... I decided to take the drive and see what Trek has to offer and boy was I blown away! Stefan greeted me at the door and was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish! I was in the store for almost two hours and he literally took me around the store from A to Z, as the first thing I told him was that I was a beginner, just purchased a road bike but had NO IDEA where to start. I was feeling intimidated and overwhelmed when I walked in the store, but that’s not how I left feeling. We started with comfort & safety and just moved down the list of everything I needed!! I felt so comfortable and at ease with Stefan. I walked out with exactly what I needed to get me up and running for when my bike gets delivered this week. Stefan also assured me that I can bring the bike in if I needed adjustments or a proper fitting. He even gave me the names of local groups to help me get acquainted with biking as well as the area!! I can’t say more than enough great things about Stefan! I feel like a found a friend in him, as well as a new home with Trek.

Quite possibly the best bike experience I have EVER had, irrespective of covid challenges. My gear shifter went and I brought it into Vinny who not only looked at it right then, but tightened some things and got me back on the road, no charge !! He assessed my bike while fixing it, suggested some repairs, emailed me a proposal and once the parts were in tuned and fixed my bike inb24 hours.....!! The Trek Manayunk Team exceeded my expectations and I am extremely grateful for their dedication & enthusiasm to getting me on a brand new bike in 2020!Initially I had called the store to see if they would assemble a used Trek 2018 Domane for me that I had found online, was going to purchase, and have shipped to me. Cal said of course they could but proceeded to ask some questions about the bike and what I was looking for.Long story short, I visited the store the next day. Spoke with Cal and Steffon about my biking goals. We compared the Domane & Emonda. I came to the conclusion that the Trek 2021 Emonda SL5 was the bike for me. The bike wasnt in stock at their store but they hopped on the computer found one at a nearby Trek Shop and brought it in to their store.Within 3 days the bike was at the store I came in for a test ride and immediately fell in love. Total upgrade and game changer from the road bike I had been on for the past 10 years.Brittany and Vinny got me all squared away, they attached/set-up the Wahoo Bolt + Speed/Cadence sensor I had purchased, moved my Speed Play pedals over to the new bike, and put on my new water bottle cages. Literally GOOD. TO. GO. and bike ready the moment I left.Needless to say I was giddy and eager to ride my new, beautiful 2021 Trek Emonda SL5! This past week Ive put 100 miles on my Emonda SL5, including a 50 mile ride which was my fastest, longest, and most comfortable ride this season.I cant thank the Trek Team in Manayunk enough for their dedication to getting me on the right brand-new bike especially in the middle of a pandemic where new bikes are hard to come by.Thank you for making my new bike experience exceptional.10/10 will recommend to friends, family, neighbors, and strangers.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the COVID protocols are top-notch, and the location can’t be beat! I am new to Philly/Manayunk and my first visit was due to a tangled bike chain while out on a ride, and one of the staff untangled it for me at no cost. Then a couple months later, my front tire blew out, and another staff helped me bring my bike into the modern age with sturdy road tires and replaced my front reflector that flew off as a complimentary bonus. So glad to know this fab bike shop is just a walk away when my bike emergencies arise!

The staff is both knowledgeable and proficient, they were very on hands. In fact they went out of their way to provide a full in-service on helping me set up my purchase. I like to thank the whole staff for making my time there feel invitingly comfortable. On a scale of 1-10 they get a 12.

I loved the patience, help and overall support from each associate. All the associates gave their input. I was asked how I felt after my test rides. It was probed to express my likes and dislikes on the ride. I like that as opposed to someone telling my how the bike is supposed to make me feel. I never felt pressured just supported. I was just about to throw in the towel when I was asked to just give this last bike a spin. It was actually a better fit and ride for me. I truly felt valued as a rider. I also appreciate the set up of my accessories. I loved the extra perks.

I have had a couple great experiences at this shop. Went in to ask questions about an issue Im having with my bike. Stefan (spelling?) was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable despite the fact that I made it clear I wasnt interested in buying anything. While he was looking something up for me, I actually found something I wanted and he was able to help me with that purchase, while at the same time finding me a resource to help with my initial concern. I came back in a few days later because I wasnt able to mount the thing I bought and Stefan was there, remembered me, and helped me find an adapter. The adapter was not in stock and had to be ordered. I got a call from Charlie when it came in a few days later and I believe he helped me when I came by to pick it up. Overall, everyone I worked with or observed in the shop was professional, pleasant and very informed about the products. I already have a bike, but if I am ever in the market again, I will absolutely stop there first. And I will definitely be going to this location for my accessories.

Super disappointed with my service here.Brought in my bike late July to have a tune up since I was getting ready to start commuting to work again in August. I had a flat tire that needed to be repaired or replaced and was hoping for just a general look and fix of anything to keep me safe commuting.They talked me into a level 1 tune up or something and I paid roughly 100 dollars for them to keep my bike for a week where they fixed my flat and....washed my bike?2 weeks later about 5 rides in, my bike is un-rideable. I come to find out from a friend that I need a new Freewheel, as my pedals wont propel my bike forward anymore - I pay my friend for a new freewheel and a new chain. 1 ride later, my flat tire is flat again, so I take my bike to a new shop and get a brand new tire.Now Im looking at an additional 100 dollars of parts and labor for things that in my opinion should have been fixed the first time around when I got my tune up. Even if those fixes werent included in my tune up, a heads up would have been nice...or they could have let me know what needed fixing and charged me for that instead of 100 dollars to fix a flat that should have just been replaced and....I genuinely dont know what else they did. Will not be going back. Go down the road to Cadence.

I’ve been to a bunch of Trek locations in PA, MD, and DE. This Manayunk location is the friendliest and most enthusiastic shop I’ve found. In simplest terms, their energy is glowing, upbeat, and positive. They value all bikes and all cyclists, no matter the athletic level. I’m making this shop my go-to store.

I did my bike fitting at Trek Manayunk and visited the shop for service and general inquiries throughout my time in Philadelphia and throughout all my interactions the stuff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. While it’s a big city, the shop has a small town vibe. I would highly recommend this shop for your bike needs!

I incurred a flat tire a couple of blocks from the store. Due a short staffing situation, there was a substantial wait for the repair. I had to leave the bike and go back for it, but I got a complete report on the condition of my wheel and tires that was quite helpful. I have always had excellent service from the Trek stores.

They Have a very knowledgeable low pressure team who were very helpful. They followed up with my questions and introduced me to new riding spots in the area!

I went in looking to replace my old road bike. I was on the fence for what bike I wanted to replace it with and what level of components would best fit me and my riding. They were beyond helpful in running down the bikes and components. In addition, when I settled on a bike that they did not have in stock, they worked to find me one in the area to get right away!Great customer service, will definitely return.

I have been to many shops in the north western Philadelphia and the suburbs and this is by far my favorite bike shop in the area. Steve, Stephan, and the rest of the employees at this store treat you like a friend and are always super nice. Every time I call or pop in they know me by first name. The trek return policy is fantastic and allows your to try the product and return it if it does not turn out to be what you are looking for. They have also stood behind their product and recently replaced a high end Bontrager part that became defective after 9 months of use. Would highly recommend to a friend.

The Trek Manayunk store was amazing in helping us buy a new bike for our son. And when he flipped over it on the second day of riding, they were equally amazing at scheduling a time to check it out to make sure it was not damaged. Everyone we worked with was super friendly and they are taking great precautions to still keep us riding despite the Covid closures.

My boyfriend and I originally drove out from NY to another bike shop near by and the treatment we received was unpleasant to say the least. Thank you Stefan for tending to us and turning a bad experience from elsewhere into a fabulous experience with you. We had to remove both wheels to fit the bike into my vehicle. We were worried about reattaching the wheels once we got back home. Stefan was kind enough to provide us with his personal number should we need assistance to reattach the wheel. Brought my son in to purchase a dual sport bike and some accessories. We waited in line for over 30mins (which we understand with covid restrictions they only allowed 1 customer at a time) however the service we received after showing us mountain bikes and some samples of bikes that were already claimed by customers. #1-Despite having gloves around would not let us touch the bike to see if it would be a good fit. #2-never asked us what our budget was but assumed that prices would be out of our price range? Like really the audacity of such assumptions. #3-brushed us out by just opening the entry way to let us without seeing if we needed anything else? We did come in to the shop with intentions of purchasing a bike & some other accessories. Please enjoy that there was no one in line waiting to come in after us but yet we were being rushed out? What was that all about.. isnt your job is to provide answers even for novice buyers? Had you not rushed us out, you could of made a good sale and had recurring customer.I think you all should provide better customer service training to your staff. For how we were treated was a disgrace. Will never go back. We should of stuck with stores we already know.Very disappointed

The whole crew at Trek has been extremely accommodating and understanding. My wife’s bike has been there waiting for parts, they have offered us options on repair,not at all pressuring us one way or another,at the same time giving us a loaner to use. Very friendly and helpful staff, making everything as smooth as possible during these unsettling times. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was an issue with my bottle cage. I would think they should have realized this bottle cage they installed prior to delivering my bike to me would not work due to the smaller frame size, and now I have to remove it, drive back down, and exchange it myself, instead of it being correct before being delivered. Just a minor inconvenience, but overall happy.Update: After I contacted them about my bottle cage issue, not only did they get me the correct one without any additional cost, they came to my home and fixed it in my driveway! Where else can you get service like that! Thanks again!

If I could give 10 stars I would. They are that good at this bike shop. Reliable, friendly, honest, hardworking, and super knowledgeable. This bike shop is 5 star top notch. I recently had my first accident and was doored by an Uber. My front brake rotor was bent, and the bike needed an overall checkup after the crash. They inspected and replaced the brake rotor and were super quick about it as well. I have been to many bike shops in Philly, and Trek Manayunk is without a doubt, right up there with the very top local bike shops. Steven worked on my bike but all the employees there were top notch. Even if you are not in the best mood when you go into this store, the staff is so awesome that you will feel great when you leave. Thank you Trek Manayunk !!!

Unlike a couple of other bicycle shops, one pretty nearby in particular, the employees here are actually helpful and think of solutions for their customers. Stopped in one shop today asking for tights for my wife. 2 employees could barely be bothered to even point where they might be, then suggested what they had was unisex (when the sizing was obviously for men). Same request at this Trek store, no full tights, but how about some bib shorts, leg warmers, merino base layer? Sure, try them on over here they said. Perfect! Sold! No attitude, no “what are you riding” snobbery, just some honest enthusiasm for bikes and riders of all types.

By far the best service of any shop I have been to! I have now taken 3 bikes to this shop, a tri bike, a mtn bike, and a road bike, and the service on all 3 is just amazing! Let’s start off by when you walk in the front door with Britney welcoming any client with any issue and providing amazing customer service! Then you get to the back, tianquan (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) knows everything and then some about parts and will get you setup no problem! The mechanics such as amber, Jude, or just other staff such as Stephen overall just make this by far the best shop around! Management is as friendly as can be and will do anything to give you the best experience! You guys have gained a customer who will keep coming back, and I urge anyone who has questions or needs work done or gear or anything, please come to this shop! Got my service done here on an older diamondback hybrid bike I just purchased used. The service staff was extremely knowledgeable and they were very patient with my numerous questions (Im a newbie to the biking world). Pricing is very reasonable (I did shop around) and they didnt try to oversell me. They have gained my trust and I would highly recommend TREK.

Fabulous Store, the guys are always willing and able to get your bike quickly dealt with. Two days ago I ended up with a new cassette being put on my Project One Top Fuel mid ride.Id popped into the shop to talk to them about my shifting issues and ended up going out the door all fixed.

I took my bike in to get the de-railer and chain done. My part for my bike was on back order for a month, no big deal! It happens. The bike sat there for so ling though that someone made the mistake if assuming I wanted a full tune up on the bike. They did so, and when I picked up the bike, I saw the full charge and mentioned I didn’t ask for it. They completely understood, refunded me for the costs of the additional upgrades. Best customer service I could have recieved because most places would just turn you away on your heels and say “too bad”. 10/10 would reccommend.

They took the time to understand what I was looking for in a new bike, make recommendations based on what they had and could order. Great terrain for test driving a potential new bike due to proximity to hills and Schuylkill River Trail.

The sales associates here are amazing! I just moved to the area and was looking for a full suspension bike so I could take advantage of all the single track trails in the area. They set me up with the perfect bike and let me demo ride it for a day. Will definitely be back soon!

Went to Trek Manayunk for the first time this past weekend and was thoroughly impressed by the service and customer care. Despite a long wait due to COVID-19 precautions, my experiences working with both the Sales Manager and Service Department were exceptional. I came in with a cracked frame to inquire about the warranty process. They gathered all the information needed to process the warranty claim and helped me evaluate potential replacement options. They were patient with my questions, provided detailed answers, and advised on considerations as I think through upgrading from a commuter/hybrid to a hardtail for more offroading adventures.

Ive been to this shop a number of times and every time it has been a great experience. I havent purchased a bike here, but have picked up various parts and clothing for my Emonda. The mechanics and salespeople are knowledgeable, friendly, and have always demonstrated that they will do whatever is necessary to get you going on a bike! Great place!

This bike shop is the best I have ever dealt with in my experience - the staff is incredibly friendly and they are honest and fair and stick to their word. They even lent me the new carbon Trek Slash 9.8 to demo which was absolutely amazing in itself as they were fixing my slightly older Slash.I had to get my right brake lever replaced as it failed and at first they offered to replace the entire brake for an additional $10 vs just the lever cost with a warranty pull off brake from another bike. They ran into to some issues with that brake and ended up ordering me an entirely new brake and still honored the same price.If you’re looking for a reasonably priced and honest bike shop - this is your place!

I took an old European folding back for repair and Andrew made sure I got what was needed on the bike. After multiple trips there, he graciously replaced my bike with another used bike he had in the back without charging a penny. When I told him I could afford to buy a new bike, he sold me a new bike for 2/3 of the original price.My affinity with these guys is not about service or product; its about the reassurance and hope about our common humanity, i.e. there are still good guys/gals in the world. Quoting Mr. Rogers in my 2014 Still Runningbook, ...Look for the helpers... Theyre still out there!

All around great bike shop. I recently bought a Trek Emonde here and the staff were all very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly throughout the process. In addition to impeccable service they also have one of the best selections of bikes and equipment in the area. I highly recommend shopping here and plan to be a repeat customer.
