Simple breakfast to start the day. The ladies were super nice and welcoming. Had the waffle with fruit and tropical green tea (be mindful it’s not sweet which through me off) but still refreshing. Husband had the croissant French toast that was stuffed with bananas and iced chai tea latte. Had plenty of fresh pastries to try, would come back to try the baklava
Recently traveled to Philadelphia, and found the best bagel sandwich I’ve had in my entire life here! The wonderful people working here have a great attitude and I watched them handle a major rush right after my order. The iced coffee was pretty great too! My traveling companion had their French toast which she said was divine. A *must* visit little dining spot! 5/5
Best breakfast cafe in the city. The staff is incredibly friendly.
Cute cafe in Old City. A wide variety of tasty treats and other food. Fantastic coffee and coffee related drinks. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was nice. The prices were fair.
Love going to Cafe Ole in the morning on the weekends. The staff behind the counter are always so friendly and have such nice and welcoming conversation. The bacon egg & cheese on a bagel is really good and the outdoor seating is nice
This is my local staple! Sometimes I wish I spent a little less money here lol but the breakfast sandwiches and coffee (and especially the really wonderful people) keep me coming back. Ill continue to do so as long as Im living in the neighborhood :)
Excellent neighborhood spot with delicious food and the best staff on the planet!
Great place. Very friendly, sandwiches are great!!
Great little neighborhood Cafe. Tasty pastries and sandwich offerings along with a nice selection of coffee, tea and drink options. Pair that with a friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff and your sure to enjoy your stop for that quick pick me up.
Always delicious! Been going to Cafe Ole for over 15 years & even though I dont live on 3rs St anymore I make a point to go there for lunch if Im anywhere in that area.
Real Israeli shakshuka— Won’t disappoint the shakshuka snobs.
Try the shakshuka, a tomato based dish with poached eggs and different variants. So good! Nice staff.
Love this place, love the food, love the owner, love the staff, love the vibe!! Cant beat it.
The lox player was so good! I will be back.
Hummus Shakshuka with the warm fresh bread....
Amazing place! Food is delicious. I love the feel of this local cafe. Totally recommend it!
Definitely try the hummus shashuka!
Great food, service, and really friendly staff
The sandwiches are amazing here as well as everything else! My favorite cafe in the city!
I’ve come here a number of times over the years in Olde City. I especially like that I can order an omelette there and it comes fast. They serve things in a Middle Eastern style with a lot of sides. A lot of fresh vegetable options. The coffee is always hot and piping.
Delicious food served with a smile. What else can you ask for?
Staff is very friendly and efficient. Shakshuka is one of the best.
It is alwayys good..she has a great operattion ..
They provide a wide variety of different foods and beverages, all of which are done well, fast, and moderately priced. Throw in the charming ambiance and you got yourself a winner. Grab a table outside by the cobblestone.
Everything tastes so good and fresh! Favorite place!
Delicious food and good coffee in a cute spot...what more do you need? Attention to detail.is important, and even the bread and pickles are delicious.
Love this place. Their hummus is out of this world. My only complaint is that theres barely any outlets making it hard for me to go if I have work to do. I would go there a ton more and spend way more money if they get more outlets, but until then its unfortunately just a quick stop every once and a while for me.
Sooo good
I love the atmosphere here and the food. I go here all the time, and the staff are super friendly and get right to making the food and drinks. It takes a little while to make, but Ive never been disappointed. I absolutely recommend this cafe.
Amazing spot. Ordered avocado toast with lox and they had gluten free options as well! The iced coffee is now one of my favorites and I would definitely come back again.
Very tasty, but could do with some more outdoor seating.
This is a great little cafe with delicious food, coffee and tea. Their Herbal Raspberry Mint tea is one of, if not the best, iced teas in the city. They also make amazing breakfast sandwiches, and they make shaksuka which is also extremely delicious. Maybe the best cafe in the city.
Their handmade chicken salad is the bomb diggity!!Delicious coffee, always.Fantastic music.Great aesthetics.I cant wait to try their Baklava and other varieties.
This is the best coffee shop in the city. The specialty coffee drinks are fantastic. The selection and quality of snacks and meals are exceptional. The workers are always friendly and attentive. The owner does an incredible job with this place and I will continue to stop by any time Im in the vicinity.Special thanks to Mary for making the best vanilla cappuccino Ive ever had!
Come here often to grab a quick breakfast and never ever disappointed! Really a wonderful spin on breakfast with a lot of Middle Eastern options and plenty of gluten-free! Not-to-be-missed
Quaint. Good food
Good coffee, friendly staff, and the owners are very sweet. Would definitely recommend.
Cafe Ole has a large selection of breakfast and lunch items, but not a large selection of seating. I ordered a bagel egg and cheese sandwich, and while it came out quickly, it tasted okay (not bad, not good). The coffee is good, but during the winter months the place does not stay warm (drafty entry door). I recommend this place for a quick grab-n-go breakfast and possibly in-door coffee drinking during the warmer seasons.
Great cafe, friendly staff
Great food and coffee, but very unpleasant cleaning product-type smell throughout (seems to be coming from kitchen...). Had to move outside to get away from it. Also only one bathroom for a pretty big cafe - long line on the day I visited. They also use a lot of plastic and single use disposable products, which was disappointing.
Absolutely love this place. The owner is a very nice lady. The food is amazing but a little pricey for a coffee shop. The decor and vibe is also very cool. Found my local coffee shop!!!
Best coffee shop in all of Philly. Their baristas, coffee, and food are amazing!
Very nice place. Thank you!!!
Rude women operating the counter today. They wouldn’t take our plate when we brought it up and said to take it back to our table because they would get it. Well they never did. The flies were circling so I put it up on the counter and we left. The whole experience made no sense and I felt an attitude the entire time. Very bizarre. Never going back.
A lovely place to eat healthy food made from the heart of the owner. Shes makes the food herself with real ingredients. She makes her own pesto, cheese mix and hand made bread made fresh. In a City that boast cheesteaks, this is a great alternative. You wont be disappointed.
Delicious and cozy! The food, drink, art and atmosphere is the perfect cafe feel. Im so glad I got rained out in the cold and stumbled into this place only to sit with a good book at a table next to an artists display on the walls with a hazelnut coffee as they rain came down out the window. The employees AND regular customers were good conversation and friendly, an all around great experience =)
This place has the best and most authentic shakshouka in Philadelphia. It comes with unbelievably creamy feta cheese and bread for dipping. It’s a outstanding foodie experience.
Their kitchen closes at 3pm. The baklava and coffee are great, but I keep missing the chance to try their fresh made items because of the closing time. I don’t believe that this information is posted anywhere online, so here it is.
Best soup we ever had. It was a nice place with really nice people. We are enjoying our romp through old City Philadelphia.
I was disappointed after seeing the great reviews. My iced latte was overly sweet (if you know me, that says a lot). I asked them to remake it, which they kindly did, but unfortunately it was still way too sweet for me. I was hoping to have a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich, but oddly they dont serve bacon. Instead, it was suggested I get pan fried smoked turkey, which sounded great until when I got my sandwich I realized it was just lunch meat. So, Im not that impressed. My boyfriend on the other hand enjoyed his European grilled cheese and caramel coffee.
Cafe Ole is a great spot! Their sandwiches and hot chocolate are delicious. Its a great spot to study if you like studying in a more lively atmosphere.
Super friendly staff, but the food and coffee is far from great. Decent place to hang on N 3rd but if you’re looking for excellent barista coffee and/or a good espresso machine you may want to explore elsewhere
The Shakshuka here is revitalizing. There is no greater hangover food on earth. The European grilled cheese is perfect when you want something heavy but not greasy. The staff are exceptional people, friendly even when the line is out the door and down the block. Stop here often.
Breakfast, Lunch or Quick pick eating place. Many items are prepared and showcasedFew days the wraps and food is fresh from kitchen and few days of the week it is not.Nice Staff & Great Music overall friendly ambience.
I love the chai tea lattes. This is nice place to meet a friend or sit and read or do some work for a little while. Good vegetarian and vegan options as well.
Good tea and coffee. Bad smell of toxic cleaning chemicals. Food is mostly in disposable plastic.
Was a huge fan. Great environment, the barista was nice and very helpful. We were new to Philly and was given pretty good recommendations of where to go.The smoothie with the orange juice was great. Nice, calming place with unique music.
Wonderful food! Love the sandwiches and all of the breakfast options. Also they have wonderful iced coffee and pastries. We keep coming back to cafe ole.
Fantastic coffee drinks and the food is really good too.The staff is friendly and attentive.
My daughter and I loved this place. It was our favorite place to eat in Philly. We went there for lunch and breakfast. Cozy and great homemade dishes.
I love Cafe Ole. Their shakshouka is fantastic, so is raspberry ice tea.
Best fesh fruit smoothies in town the food is excellent also. This establishment hires some of the prettiest friendly professional women the city has to offer. The owner is a Gem as well. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THEM OUT!
Wow! What a wonderful surprise! Staff was friendly and attentive. I had the egg white omelet with spinach, tomato and feta. It came with a side of Israeli salad, a homemade roll, hot out of the oven and lebanah with olive oil and zaatar. My husband who is from Israel felt like he was in a cafe in Tel Aviv. Coffee was delicious. Wish you were in NYC.
Great coffee stop with excellent brunch. Service is very quick and the staff is friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available with free WiFi.
Just wonderful love it. Such great food. Name might suggest otherwise but this place specializes in Israeli Mediterranean. I had a delish flaky boureka (Israeli pastry) with spinach and cheese. Also excellent pumpkin spice chai latte ( oatmeal milk as I have dairy issues). Really cute place with all sorts of sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit cups, wraps, breakfast items home made pastries. Specialty is shakshuka. Great for locals and tourists. outdoor and indoor seating.
Free refills! Great music! Cute decor! Great food! Whats not to like?
Good Shakshuka! Awsome breakfast place!
Not a good experience at all and God forbid you should need to use a bathroom. Avoid.
Popped in for a quick bite and found the most delicious salads, hummus with pita, mini donuts and though I didnt try it- the baklava looked amazing. Coffee is excellent too.
This is one of cafes that dont exist anymore. The decor is vintage and comfy. The tea was amazing and the food is fresh/tasty.
Some of the best coffee in the city. Great food and service. I stop there quite often.
We visited Cafe Ole on Thanksgiving. It was such a wonderful discovery. The food and coffee were outstanding, the ambiance welcoming, the service impeccable. Very highly recommended!
Excellent experience! I will definately be back. Jill provides exceptional customer service and really made me feel welcomed!
Delicious veggie shakshuka. Theyve on-the-go options as well. Would definitely come back.
Great coffee, all the snacks/desserts look really good and are made daily. Very liberal vibe. Good for travelers after they just walked through Elfreths Alley.
Very consistent drink making. Always can depend on getting a good iced chai from here! Good food as well!
Good salad. Good atmosphere. Outdoor seating. Older counter lady a shade abrupt with me.
