This place is solid. Their drinks are always tasty and good quality. I have come here for years whenever I am in town. This city has sugar tax applied.

Bad service. I would never come back again. The lady I think she is the owner was so mean. I did not know there were straws and spoons inside my order (actually have none of them in the bag) and I took some straws and spoons for 8 items. And she said that there were straws and spoons already, why did I take more and so much with the bad attitude. I said sorry because I did not know. Then when I came out of the place, I realized that there were no straws and spoons, then the staff followed and gave us some. I was really angry because of the lady’s behavior. Why should she recheck the bag before giving it to me? And why does she ask me so mean like that just because of some straws and spoons? Are those expensive or worthy to treat me like that? She did not say sorry sincerely when I came back to the store to showed her that I did not have any stuff to eat and drink. She is old enough but behaves like a child.

Came here on recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint! Must try Vietnamese desserts and reasonably priced. It is a chain store originally in California. Had a large menu variety. The portions are big and filling especially on a hot summers day.

I ordered the avocado smoothie with tapioca beads. Yum! Price was fair.

The person who served me was very unfriendly and had no manners and my drink could not be drunk because I didnt want pandan jelly but she didnt listen to me and i just throw my drink, im realy upset

To me its a must stop place for my wife and I. The treats is a treat itself, you definitely can get carry away with ordering too many. So authentic and a touch of modern to it. Yummy, Hazelnut coffee is a MUST!!!!

This place has a bubble tea recipe for every mood, and great pandan waffles. What are pandan waffles? They’re basically delicious green Belgian waffles with a little bit of added sweetness. Highly recommend!

Favorite Thai tea in Philly! Some of their other teas could be too sweet but I think the Thai tea is perfect.

I came here to get Vietnamese dessert since being from NYC, theres not much Vietnamese dessert places. Ive been to other Bambu locations in California and Texas so I wanted to try it here since its closer to NYC. I ordered the #4 dessert and it didnt disappoint. It was just as good as I remembered it. Even though its freezing outside, I still got it. I really like pandan jelly, grass jelly, and red tapioca so I usually get any drink that has that. It was $4.60 which is not bad since its a pretty large portion. They have bubble tea and hot drinks as well. Its cash only so remember to bring cash.

The Che is fantastic. Great combos that they’re willing to customize for you. Not too sweet, and the pandan and grass jellies are the perfect firmness.

Twice in the last two months and both times, their drinks made me sick! The second time was so bad I had to go to the Urgent Care. The first time I got a raspberry green tea and the second time I got a strawberry green tea. Within an hour I got an upset stomach and diarrhea. Could be dirty machines or unclean fruit, but I won’t be going back. I’ve never had this problem with Mr. Wish or Kung Fu Tea.

Best boba desert place in Philly. Mostly when it comes down to driving there. Not insanely congested and less likely to bump into traffic.

Very small dessert tea spot with limited seating and no restroom. For $5 a drink, I think they should offer restrooms.

The drinks are fine. But if you dont tell them no ice when you order, the ice is like half of it. So the large drink is 5 ish, then you spend 2.5 for the ice.

Very good drinks. True to the ones sold in asia. The place is small so there is bound to be a little of a wait if there are lot of ppl, but the staff does work fast.

Chè is the best sweet dessert in town in its price range. Around $5, customers could have a tasty, colorful, and flavorful dessert including from something simple like mung bean, taro, lychee, jackfruit to herbal jelly, pandan jelly, tapioca, basil seed, longan, and lots of other sweet ingredients dipped in creamy, smooth, delicious coconut milk. I would strongly recommend number 5, Smashed Avocado for an avocado lover, number 6 for tropical fruit addict, and my most favorite number 10. Besides, they also have boba tea, which I personally think that the best, chewy texture pearl I have ever had. They also have real-fruit smoothies, French macaron, and some Vietnamese dry food varying in store.

2nd only to kung fu bubble tea - Bambu will never let you down & good luck making your way through their entire menu board!
