This is the second and last time I’ll ever order from here. Last week I ordered a blue berry pie sundae I basically paid $8 for a cup of vanilla ice cream and a small scoop of blueberry on top. Tonight I ordered a banana split and it was All over the bag, looks like it was Literally shaken up. I couldn’t even make out what it was And the Icecream is all mostly melted.

Window service, great and friendly waitress! I had a brownie sundae that was perfect, with some rainbow sprinkles!!

First time visiting Muchies Ice Cream and will definitely be returning in the future, its a nice little store that has an amazing Oreo Craze milkshake. They were patient and quick and also the kid was very nice.

Consistently good ice cream served here. One must try the fried Nutella dumplings!

Ordered online and took 3 hours. This isn’t the 1st time they’ve taken forever. I ordered over the phone 2 other times and both times took over 2 hours. It’s sad because I love their ice cream but they’re either understaffed or can’t seem to manage orders. This happened last summer too. (grub hub added an additional 40 minutes after 11:34*)

Munchies has a large menu with delicious recipes such as the Smores Overload milkshake and once you have your first bite, your taste buds will not be disappointed. I would give it zero stars if I could. I order on grub hub at 7:15 and it kept saying in the works. 9:10 pm I decided to call the store to find out what’s going on with my order and they said it will be another 45 minutes. So 3 hours for ice cream ?!Now I have to sit on the line with grub hub to cancel my order. Beyond frustrated!! Not even a courtesy call letting me know they were backed up. How behind could you be with ice cream?! Never again!!

I got a milkshake and was horrible for some reason they used ice make it so all u could taste was water and ice chunks not to mention it took 20 minutes for a milkshake never again will I ever

Everything is amazing except the wait time

J ordered last night and i must say this was by far the worst experience ever with ice cream. I ordered 2 banana splits a order fried oreo and ice cream on a brownie. The brownie was rock hard and the oreo were deformed and looked like they were sitting for hours never again. You dont get anything fresh from there

I always come to this place, and I quite enjoy it. The ice cream always tastes good, and the service is always pleasant because the staff are very friendly and clean. People keep complaining about the wait being long, but if a place is crowded, they should not have to rush to serve the ice cream, people should expect a wait if the place is crowded. And when they are not crowded, their is not a wait. I go when it is crowded and not crowded, and I do not get tired of waiting.

Ok ice cream, don’t order delivery, it took over 2 hours to arrive

So all was well until an employee walked in with a gray puppy and precedes to make orders. Puppy is just playing in the prep area. Like what?! Never again.

Overkill on the Covid pill. I.e. the takeout packaging my ice cream cone was enveloped encased, or otherwise left hanging. And for this one, thats exactly what happened. This is not hearsay. I was there (say).You were keeping me hanging for my ice cream. For your insistence to start everything from scratch. Noble gesture and a beautiful testament to the value you place on friendship and a community. But does everything literally have to be heaped on you?

Munchies has a really big selection. Sitting outside which is nice. But I would call a head I waited a really long time for a few Sundays. It took about an hour for 3 small cups of ice cream and 1 sundae.

I had the funnel cake, with ice-cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, topped with a cherry. My daughter had her first cone of strawberry ice-cream. Shes a fan. Staff was great. The good: Nice people.The bad: No masks. No gloves. Long wait. Employees grabbing cups from top, fingers grasping the cups insides.The worst: After scooping the ice cream, an employee used their gloveless fingers to push the ice cream out of scoop. Then proceeded to use their hand to mash the ice cream into the cup.This dude used his fingers time after time to push the ice cream out of the scoop. That is nasty under normal circumstances; unacceptable in a pandemic.I know the owner is vocal on here and has adverse reactions to negative reviews. I have been in the industry for decades and respect your hustle. But the hands in people’s ice cream is nasty. Expect a visit from the health inspector.

Ice cream great but order ahead & what ever time they say wait another 20 minutes.If you just walk up to window & there is no line, dont let that fool you be prepared to wait for a very very very long time. I think they dont have a person working the window & getting their order & then another working call in orders, they should! it would be faster, instead of the people waiting in the heat outside for 1 hour. Sweatie, tired, want a shower & air conditioning now, NOT THE ICE CREAM.

Ordered ice cream through the actual store and it has been over an hour, called to check in and now it’s another 20-30 minutes... not the first time I’ve had to wait when ordering dessert, but this has been the longest. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Great ice cream and some of the nicest people I’ve met here in Philly. They even gave us free deep fried Oreos! The store was really clean and the tables out front were very cute.

This place is absolutely AHHMAZING. The staff (I believe they were the owners parents who waited on us) were the definition of jolly & welcoming.
