This place is horrible to buy anything from. We went to Phoenix to visit family happened to run across a boat there that we were interested in buying. Got a hold of Scott, went and seen it. We got a price got the loan, went to Phoenix to pick it up. In the ad it told us it had a cockpit cover and a boat cover neither was there we asked about it, he told us he would get us a boat cover. Us living in Las Vegas, we are very much into covering your boat in this heat, so we told him we were going to bother him till we got it. We bought our boat April 1st. Every week we would ask him where it was and always another excuse of why we didnt have it. In the mean time we still havent received any of our paperwork to go get the boat registered. He tells us I will send the paperwork when I send the cover. I told him No we want it now. Then we get the paperwork to register, now the check is the incorrect amount for taxes. So we have to wait for another one. Then we had to pay more because now we are paying penalty fees for late registration because it is now over 30 days late. We asked for him to pay the late fees. But nothing. He is horrible at customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay as far away as you can and go somewhere else that appreciates your business. We love our boat but we went through too much grief and hassle to be able to use it. Scott you need to take a course in customer service and know the laws and what you are doing when you are selling something. And make sure before you sell, what you are advertising is actually there, and registration laws in different states. 30 Days not 2 months.
I spoke with Scott who claims to be the owner. I contacted him via email from a boat for sale post he had up. I had a few questions in regards to the boat such as how many hours it had and what the total out the door price would be. Told him I had cash and wanted to come out to look at it, but had a few questions before making the drive out. His response was I dont like email Then quickly followed up with a second email saying use a phone. Well if he didnt want people to email then maybe he shouldnt have included his email in the ad! When I respond back explaining I am at work and cant call today, he continues to type novels...yet he says he doesnt like to email? He wasted more time in his follow up emails jibber jabbing about how he doesnt like emails and in the process didnt answer any of the questions I had about this boat he is trying to sell. He then tells me I am a pain in the a** and he could careless if he loses my business. Tells me I am an idiot and that he doesnt need my money. Well then sir, you just lost my business! Based on the other reviews I am finding online...it sounds like this guy is a con and is terrible at customer service so maybe his piss attitude was a blessing in disguise.
I purchased a boat back in January from them. They were very easy to deal with and even brought the boat down to Phoenix for me from Lake Havasu. First day out with the boat motor started making a knocking noise. I contacted Scott on Saturday and he answered the phone and he said Todd said to bring it back to there shop. They were unable to duplicate it and I ended up going out again and still had the same issue. Seems like the issue only happened when the boat was under pressure at the lake and not able to duplicate on dry land. They ended up pulling the drive all a part and everything looked good. Then they did a compression test and found out it had a bad head gasket. After further investigation that year had some issues with the heads so he actually had both heads rebuilt and replaced both head gaskets. Some places might have went the cheap route and just replaced the head gasket. Todd said he listens to his mechanic and didnt want me to have issues down the road. Big thanks!!!!!
I absolutely hate giving companies a bad review. I take it very seriously. That being said, I would run screaming away from them if you are considering buying a boat. Ive had a simple warranty mechanical issue that should have been fixed 8 months ago. They fixed half of the problem and told me that a part was on order to finish it. That was last July. I have called dozens of times for them to finish the work, and they never follow up. They even promised to have Todd pick the boat up on one of his trips back and forth between Phoenix and Lake Havasu. Now theyre telling me its too far for them to finish their own work. Mind you, I waited on them because they started the work and it was supposed to be warranty work. They just today told me that they wont finish it, and to take it to someone closer that does warranty work. The only person in the area that does this warranty work is Complete Marine, and they are booked out a month and a half, which I understand. Frankly, its not Complete Marines problem. So, Ill wait. All of this is on top of the fact that I just got my trailer registration and title this month after having the boat almost two years and about 50 phone calls. To say I am livid is a gross misstatement. I assure you that they will be hearing from my lawyer within a week.
Scott is a con artist. Don’t waste your money on this thief. Not only is he a liar, but goes out of his way to screw unsuspecting consumers. Spend your hard earned dollars at a well deserving dealership and leave this con artist alone. Check out Scott horrible reputation. You have been warned.
Scott was fantastic to work with! He was very responsive, he even drove the boat hours to meet us! The pictures of the boat on the website were exactly what we saw in person. i couldnt recommend them more!
Scott knows his stuff! Chose exactly what we wanted for us.
So far a very unsatisfactory buying experience that began on July 30, 2018. More later......
