Great people, great service. We were at Sun Country Marine for service. I got to talking with Jay about our problem taking our kayaks with us on camping trips. We brought our Class C RV in and they designed and built a rear rack to attach our two kayaks vertical to the back with space for 2 bikes. So cool.
Despite all of the negative reviews we thought wed give them a try.We are in the market for a new boat.Came inside the office, no one was there. Wondered around for over 5 minutes no one but a dog showed up.Went to look at the boat, we wandered the boat lot for 15-20 minutes and after no one showed up we left.
We have, or should I say “were” a loyal customer! We dropped our boat off for our annual service and our boat and 3 others were broken into. I had over $1900 in stereo equipment stolen from my boat alone. How did they respond and take responsibility? With a simple response “too bad & so sad” but all boats are individually insured and they will not accept any responsibility. This is how they treat a loyal customer for many years, unfortunately I will no longer be a customer & will be taking my business elsewhere.My reply to Sun Countrys response:Again, this show’s your integrity! Your management team refused to help with my deductible, or did I receive a full refund. Amazing response, STAY AWAY!!
Very rud lady answered the phone!!!I was ready to buy a used boat. I made a offer on the boat and the lady( Diane) told me she will call right back. Now 3 weeks are gone and NO call back!! Sorry for the owner of the boat(still for sale). I was ready to buy his boat!Stay away from this place, you are warned!!!!
Great place to buy a boat, I did and I love the boat. Diane is knowledgeable, professional and very cooperative. Id recommend Sun Country Marine and certainly would do business with them again.
Had my boat in storage here, they were supposed to work on the engines but when I went to pick it up one engine was partially disassembled and the other wasnt touched. Claimed their mechanic had quit. On top of that, both of the brand new batteries I had in the boat got stolen by these crooks and they refused to replace them.
Lady up front that answers the phone was not very helpful or friendly. Sounded like I was bothering her. Just bought x2 boats and needed some annual service done on them, looks like I’m taking my business elsewhere!

The WORST place I have went to the owner him self was not respectful took my pontoon it had a small leak in the toon i paid over 600 thinking they fixed it and were professional but totally the opposite. The same day I took the boat home I saw it had a leak and took it back to them and they lied and said again there is no leak until a day later I took it to the lake and the boat almost sunk with all my kids and family in it very very terrible....third time took it to them they said they will pay me half what I paid and that they won’t be able to fix it... very very unprofessional.... I am gonna file a lawsuit against them pretty soon almost killed my family
Called about a rebuild kit for a carburetor lady put me on hold without saying a word came back on the phone said nope and she hung up. Great customer service skills lady!
I have been going to Sun Country Marine since 1993 when my parents bought their first of three boats. I just bought my first boat for my family and it could not have been easier. Diane and Dennis are both great people and are like family! Thanks for everything Diane! We look forward to many years of boating and doing business here!
Diane came out and greated my little guy and I as soon as we parked. She had a packet with all the boats information including pricing. After looking at the boats I came into the office and she was very helpful and knowledgeable on all the details I needed. When I purchase my first boat they will have my business!
20 minutes..... No one even came out to see if I would like to see a boat.Guess Ill just have to take my $$$ elsewhere.
Recently moved to Central Phoenix and Sun Country Marine was the closest. Did not know what to expect. Diane greeted me in the parking lot with a smile and was very helpful as she took my order to service my boat. Dale did a great job keeping me updated with boat progress and did a great job in repairing it aswell. I Picked up my boat and took it out to the lake Memorial Day weekend and my 1973 Thunderbird ran like a Champ!! I highly recommend Sun Country Marine, Thanks again Diane and Dale

Have done business in past with no issue. All interactions previously were face to face.Just called for a part, the guy, was busy so the lady who answered ( no name or thank you for calling ~ just Sun Country..........) helped me. While she did let me know they didnt have the part, she immediately said try Valley Marine and hung up on me as I was saying thank you. SheeshThis is why the internet and corporations are winning the war with local merchants. Next time dont be in such a hurry.BTW, Sun Country has better reviews than Valley Marine.Update 2019: After this encounter I have been doing business with a shop in Glendale. Great place!

I had dropped off my boat late March for outdrive service and troubleshooting a runabilty issue. They dragged their feet for over 6 weeks a then called to tell me the outdrive was done but they wanted to take it to the lake to test drive. My problem with this is that they didnt do any testing and wanted to charge me another $200+ to take it to the lake? If I wanted someone to drive my 2000 Wellcraft Excalibur most everyone I know would have to pay me! The biggest problem with this is they didnt recommend any alternative testing such as compression and leak down test, fuel pressure test, or even check and clean injectors. In the future I will not be using them for anything, even parts. Now its the middle of May and all the boat repair shops are completely booked and I will not be at the lake this summer. Thanks Sun County Ill make sure that I tell everyone about this crappie situation.
Worst customer service ever. Went to look at a pre owned boat & no one even cared to see if I need any help or if I had any questions.
Absolute worst customer service ever. The guy took like 10 minutes to come to the front desk then was a total jerk. Avoid this place!
Very bad customer service. They act like you are bothering them. I was in in the parts and service shop and was not noticed for ten minutes. Very bad. I just walked out
