Even with bad credit this team managed to get us into the vehicle we wanted. John’s boss was very helpful and went above and beyond to work with what we had. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, even the Finance Manager worked quick and was very polite and efficient. We walked out of there with keys to our new car after only a few hours and the young man who detailed our new car was very helpful and works hard. My wife Grace and I just completed the purchase of a used vehicle from the Chapman Value Center on E. Camelback Rd. in Phoenix. Mimi Khaivilay was our sales representative. Right from my initial phone conversation with Mimi until the keys to the vehicle were given to me 3 days later Mimi was extremely gracious, knowledgeable and attentive to our questions, concerns etc. The sales process can be quite confusing and challenging but Mimi always was responsive and patient with us throughout. What an incredibly positive experience purchasing my car at Chapman BMW Value Center from Abraham! No Im not at the BMW level, but they resell many other makes and models.This was my fourth stop along my car buying journey, and I had absolutely no expectations. After texting back and forth, Abraham welcomed me into the dealership. He was very professional and friendly and took the time to listen to what I wanted. When I asked his opinion, he actually gave it. We narrowed my list down, looked at the cars, took one on a test drive and then negotiated the price.The negotiating was with Abraham,. None of that turning it over to someone else to negotiate. He was very transparent with the pricing. I feel like I got a great deal on a great car. The financial person was very friendly too. When I said no extended warranty he didnt try to endlessly pressure me. After all was done, another gentleman from the office followed me to the airport so that I could return my rental and drive off right there with my new car.In addition to each person I dealt with being nice individually, all the people in the dealership seemed to be very upbeat and friendly, which added to the pleasant experience.
It was such a pleasure walking in to Chapman Value Center on Camelback and being greeted by Mickie! My father had wanted me to stop in and look at a Cadillac they had for sale. I knew just stopping to look would be difficult as he had his mind and heart set on getting this car. Mickie was very thorough and clearly explained pricing and suggested making an offer. So I did and after just a few minutes, I was signing paperwork. I was purchasing as POA for my dad, which was a new process for Mickie and management. I have to say Mickie walked an extra mile that day, literally, between me and the manager. I took the car for a test drive with Mickie. I felt as though I was with a friend, not a car salesperson. We finished up the paperwork and I headed home assured that a full service was being preformed and delivery of the car would be done within the week. Mickie stayed in touch with my dad and I. Again feeling as though she was an old family friend. Mickie got so excited for my dad, wanting pictures when the car was delivered to him. Definitely not a typical car salesperson! I recently bought a used truck from Chapman Value Center. Cameron was my sales rep. He was courteous, friendly, never pushy or aggressive. He supported me through the entire sale and beyond. He even delivered the truck to my home because my business hours prevented me from picking up the truck in person. Nina, the finance coordinator, handled the paperwork efficiently and rapidly. Very disappointed with Manager’s rude behavior .Its like you have to pay whatever they ask or else there is no respect for customer . I feel like it becomes compulsion to buy car once you enter into here . Manager will not let you speak and gives breathing time to think about the cost and other factors. They charge almost 4k more than the listed price . There are few add -ons which becomes mandate to take even if you dont want them and if you refrain taking them that becomes a problem. Highly not recommend this place. I would pay 1k more if staff is well behaved but here the situation is totally different. #disappointing service
I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude during the summer of 2020. I loved it at first. Then three months out, I had to replace the alternator, which cost me money I didnt have. I had to then replace the battery. NOW, it stalls every time I come to a stop. Ive had the spark plugs and a map sensor fixed. After these were replaced, the Jeep is still doing the same thing. When the mechanic looked at the car, there was oil in the area where the spark plugs are, which more than likely means an oil leak. Ive contacted Chapman for any sort of assistance and I was given a number to call. I left a message and have not heard back from anyone! I understand that cars will breakdown but Ive only had this car for six months and I shouldnt have to be dealing with this. I feel like I was sold a lemon. I now have no transportation and having to rely on other people for rides until I can figure out what to do. I would highly recommend doing your research first or have a mechanic look at the car before purchasing.

45 days ago I made a mistake and purchased a car from this place.That was 2018 Ford Mustang with only 32000 miles on it. Not old car at all. The price was $25000 - not cheap as well.3 days after I purchased it I had to take the car to the shop, because it was unsafe to drive. The car was pulling aside, extremely strong vibrations on highway speeds, windows not closing etc. Over the 45 days the car was in my possession, it spent half the time at the shop, it is in the shop today the moment I am posting this. I spent nearly $1500 on it just to make it drivable, and it is still not done.More over. My temp. registration expires in 3 days, and it will not be lawful to drive the car anymore, but as per the MVD - the dealership has not submitted the paperwork to them yet!REALLY!It was not some 25 yer old junk car bought for $500 from some shady under the bridge place. Is it how you treat your customers?PEOPLE - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!I will stand behind EACH of my words. All of the proofs on hands!

The service we received here was a breath of fresh air compared to our previous experiences with car dealers. We were not harassed with phone calls or text messages, and we had an out the door price by email before we even stepped foot in the door. Ultimately the car we were interested was not right for our (admittedly specific) needs, but Nina and Robert were gracious and helpful throughout our two visits. They even offered and helped to load the car seat for us so we could all test drive it together. They went above and beyond. Ill be sure to check back when we need another car as this dealership is a rare gem in a sea of scummy high-pressure sales tactics.

After an absolutely horrible experience at another dealership, we went to see the Toyota Sienna we were interested in. The sale woman was great, and when we told them we needed the van asap for our trip out of town, they made it happen!! To start off, i drove 35 minutes up to see a particular vehicle. A 2017 Chevy Sonic. They knew exactly what car I was coming up for because I told when I was scheduling my appointment when they said it was available. They called me 3 times today. I was originally scheduled for 11 am. I ended up having to come late by which i notified them that I would be there 1pm. They called me before 11 to make sure I was coming, shortly after 11. And again around 12. Fast forward, i get there and Leonard, the guy who confirmed everything with me insisted on showing me other cars. The car I wanted was about 6,000 and I had a budget of $7000 for the car. I already have a car with a loan that I have no intention of trading in so I knew I would probably run into issues with already having a car loan in my name. Hence why I was prepared with the car I had in mind, to PAY IN FULL if i didnt get approved for the loan. Not a big deal. While filling out the paperwork for a loan during small talk, i mentioned that i just gave birth back in november. If your version of small talk is asking if the babys father is in the picture, then you shouldnt be a sales person. It was rude and frankly none of his business. He seen a black female and automatically assumed the father was gone. Fast forward, we are walking through the lot and i ask Leonard about the car once more. He said Im gonna be honest with, the chevy sonic has some mechanical issues. I asked what type of issues, he said he wasnt sure but it would probably be sold wholesale. Keep in mind, i was still interested in getting the car because certain mechanical issues can be fixed. He went through the lot and basically pointed out all the cars he thought i could get approved for. One was a hyundai 2017 i believe. I was open to test driving it but I had my heart set on the car I came for. Fast forward again, we went inside and I asked about the Chevy Sonic once more. He said that actually didnt have it and it was taken to the auction. Annoyed because i drove all the way down there, i politely asked to test drive one of the cars he said he thought I could get approved for. He then said, oh I checked, actually not that one. He then offered to try to sell me one of his personal vehicles which is very unprofessional! Talking about a bmw with 180,000 miles for i believe around 9k? Long story short, i wasted my time. The sales person never even let me test drive any vehicles because he had it set in his mind on what I could afford. He stereotyped me. He ran my credit and everything BEFORE telling me that they didnt have the car I came for. The most shadiest car dealership Ive ever been to.
Sales manager Robert and sales rep Rick LaFave were excellent! I just purchased a new (pre owned) vehicle and I am typing this as I leave Chapman Auto Group BMW on Camelback. They treated me fantastic. Straight forward and direct. All you can ask for when purchasing a vehicle.....and I work at another dealership and I am saying this. That says alot. Stop by and give them an opportunity.

Overall, very impressed with Chapman Value and the Civic I purchased. The salesman don’t work on commission and I never felt rushed or pushed. I was able to get a 2020 Honda Civic with less than 9000 miles for $16,500. Couple thousand dollars cheaper than anywhere else in that model with that low of mileage. I also got an above average price for my trade in Elantra.Only complaint that I have was having to come back to fill out some paperwork that should have been completed the day of purchase for the trade in. Also, be aware of the Kahu product they try to hit you with. It was not really explained to me as an option, which it is if you look at the fine print. Save yourself $699 by declining Kahu when meeting with finance.None the less, I was very pleased with my purchase and the how easy Chapman was to work with. Friendly, professional and reasonable. Would definitely recommend when looking for quality used vehicles.

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to give a special thank you to Alan, when I I walked in no one came up to me only stared at me until he approached me, I believe they thought I wasn’t going to buy, but Alan came to my rescue. I wanted to say thank you for making my first ever car purchase in my name easy and understanding he took the time to answer all my questions that I had and made me feel comfortable, and wasn’t trying to sell me anything ridiculous but that was in my Price range and and told me the pros and cons to everything- which I really appreciated thank you, after everything was said and done Alan helped me walk away with a 2019 Dodge Charger RT that I extremely LOVE and payments that do not break the bank ! Once again thank you, and if your shopping in the area go see Alan I promise you he will make you feel at home and happy with your purchase!

After reading reviews I could obviously tell you could care less about making your customers lifes easier and giving a great experience. You have complaints against the same finance manager Howard and salesmen that are being unprofessional and fradulent today in 2021.PS. I watched your car detailers spray the hose inside of the vehicles instead of actually detail cleaning like a decent place would. So unprofessional and your finance department holds onto paperwork they should be submitting in order for them to try to get commission on it ! Very sad.

Years ago I bought a lemon Volkswagen from them. 100 miles into the use of this brand new car they refused to refund my money. I spent 10 months fighting them in court only to have them lose at the case. They serviced it six times in six times it broke down. They refused to do the right thing and take it back. This is a horrible car company and you should never trust or buy from them.
After visiting several dealerships, we recently purchased an Audi A3 from the Chapman Value Center and really want to thank Nina and Mike for their help. Nina did a wonderful job getting us a great car at a great price and making the sale easy and stress free. The next week, we accidentally caused the battery to go dead. We called the office and Mike was kind enough to send their service staff to my wifes work to charge the battery and adjust the settings. This was one of our best car buying experiences ever and we couldnt be happier with all of the staff at Chapman Value Center and highly recommend them. Thank you!
I have to say, I work in the auto industry and when I had to find a new vehicle I was not very excited. I went to other dealerships, bigger well known dealerships. And my experience with Chapman was hands down the best and I want to be specific-Ask for Alan Lopez. He made everything so easy and stress free. I will forever recommend them and Alan specifically. Hello Vida Wilson,I’ve recently bought my first car, a Kia Optima from Chapman Value Center on Camelback. I was very excited, at first but you’re company has made this experience so stressful and horrible. I’m really patient and respectful and I’ve had enough. First my original sales person Cole never showed up to my appointment so Robert Hirsch the sales man helped me. I never received a breakdown until doing my paperwork because Cole never did. Robert Hirsh said the Kahu was mandatory and in the paper work there is a section were you can opt out of the service which why would you have that if it is mandatory. Second problem is the gap situation. When I had asked Robert Hirsh if Gap insurance was worth it he said he received half, he may have heard me wrong but are you serious. Howard Wade the finance manager also told me if I agreed to get Gap Insurance I can cancel it at ANY time. I went to Camelback to get the gap cancelation form and mind you I live over an hour away. On december 23rd I had signed the form and turned it into Howard Wade that same day and I found out on January 7th from the in house financing that no form has been submitted! The helpful finance lady reached out to him the following day. Howard Wade the finance manager called me saying I couldn’t cancel my GAP insurance because i’m high risk. Mind you HE STATED I CAN CANCEL ANYTIME. I put 7k down and that’s half of whole total. I also talked to my insurance which notified me i DONT NEED GAP. After receiving that phone call I called the finance company who had confirmed that I am able to cancel it and they started the process. I can’t trust the dealership, the finance company is the only ones being honest. Howard Wade the finance manager also forgot I had the gps already installed which Robert told me in front of Howard Wade that they installed the same day i bought it. Howard Wade threatened me by text if I don’t come that same day that the deal is off and that was 21 days after I purchased the vehicle. I have the message and receipts. I’ve been advised to call the better business bureau because this is not how a car company should be managing there business or treating there customers. I’m hoping as soon as my finance goes through 23 days later that I won’t have to deal with this dishonest car company. This is just part of what I have to deal with, there’s actually more if you would like to reach out to me.
The salesman was nice enough, but these guys bait-and-switch on price. A 2019 Raptor was posted online for 65,629 and when you call they want over 68k. They say that they can’t help what the internet posting says and that they don’t control what’s on cars.com. Be careful with these guys.
I drove 668 miles to purchase a vehicle from Champan Value Center in Phoenix Arizona, when I got there they were extra fees that I wasn’t aware, I should’ve done my homework better, but after they were able to negotiate a better price that I was happy with, if your going to make a long drive like I did, make sure you call them and make sure they give you an exact price with all fees and taxes, but besides the price issue both Robert and Micalyn were really helpful, they answered all my questions and gave me great customer service!
Probably the best car buying experience I have ever encountered. Huge thanks to Robert, Ambraham, and Howard. Everyone here made the entire process very enjoyable and everyone was super friendly. I share the same dealing as all of you are going through the same problem, I sold a vehicle, got no answers, had to call the assistant to the general manager, and I finally got help, so dont sell your car here, it takes twice as long as it shouldnt be that way, it just sits on that desk for no reason at all...trust me.
A mixed bad here. I bought a Hyundai Kona for my daughter to go off to college. The salesperson was nice and all, not as knowledgeable as I would have liked and the process dragged on, but we got the deal done. At the very end of the transaction we were headed out the door when I was handed a key to the car. And there was only one FOB, I was like Dont you have a second FOB? I just spent 17K and the car is only one year old. Where is the second FOB? Long story short, I got the run around and excuses. Later I tried to call and e-mail and no response. I just think it is tacky to spend 17K on a car and not get two FOBs. Heck, I traded in a 2003 car and I gave them two Keys for that vehicle and it was 17 years old! A 2019 car should have two keys. Shame on Chapman Value center, I had to tell my daughter that wed have to buy a second key in case she lost it at college.

The exact issue relates to the following clauses for you to follow-up and remedy with your colleagues: 6-113. Acts prohibited; officers; employees (L91, Ch. 188, sec. 2. Eff. until 7/1/20) and 6-631. Disclosures; penalty. Whilst your company policy as published online concedes with the local State laws, your employees did not comply to either and both.
I came in on time for my 6:15 appointment which I had set the day prior and confirmed that same day. Upon arriving, the car I came in for was already being test driven by another person which I found to be out of the ordinary. I was informed that a sales manager made the decision to treat this as a fist come first serve, which I get, but forgive me for thinking businesses still had a shred of integrity. Now the car was posted for 24,000, it was a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee but, after taxes and fees it totaled 29,854, quite the jump there. Now Cameron my salesman was an absolute people pleaser, I really like working with him. However, he is overshadowed by your stereotypical, pushy, I don’t care sales managers, who didn’t see a guy drive 40 miles to his appointment to look at a car that’s already being sold to someone else. As a banker working with affluent clients I will for sure steer away anybody looking for a car from the Chapman brand.(One week later) Since I have yet to receive an apology let me add this. Take your business to Bill Luke! Now Chapman states “all prices are plus X Y and Z fee” on the website but, that’s all smoke and mirrors. Let me explain something, “are” is the plural form of “is” which means that fees “are” definitively included but, they are not. Now at Bull Luke, there is no $499 document prep fee, or a $884 Kahu fee, or a $695 prep fee and the gap insurance which Chapman labels as a $995 accessories fee is more than half off at $400. The cherry on top is a FREE, up to 100,000 mile, warranty. Chapman plays the get your foot through the door game so please save yourself the trouble. Your money goes a long ways elsewhere and you can save yourself the effort of fighting through the dishonesty.
Worse experience! Bad customer service they take for ever to answer and then after u ask for a simple thing they told me that they will call me back and never called...its impossible to do business like that..
Went in and the service was great right off the back. I had the pleasure of working with Mimi, and she did great! She was very kind and personable and upfront. I had a pre-approval from my bank but both Mimi and Howard the finance manager were very convinced that they could do better. After convincing me to give them a chance they really came through! Saved me some good money on my financing. The car is in great conditions and feel pretty solid on the road. I did notice that the care has a bit of a rattle and will follow up with the dealer to check on that before my 500 mile warranty. Lets hope I dont have to update my review after that. Will keep you posted.

My husband and I visited this dealership. Very nice salesman, Abraham Uribe. Took the time and answered our questions along with the sales manager. Test drove a 2017 ES Lexus. It did not have some of the things we were looking for in it. Will keep this place in mind.

Had a wonderful experience at Chapman’s!! Alan was super patient and very kind from start to finish! I gave him my budget...was not expecting to leave with a 2019 Kia!! And my monthly payments stayed within budget! Howard in finance was very knowledgeable and couldn’t have done it without him either! 2 days after my purchase I received a call from Alan and the first thing he asked was if my daughter liked moms new car! I know it’s not a big deal but for him to take the time and remember what was my main reason for needing a new car just shows what a great guy he is! Recently purchased a Ford Flex from Chapman after searching for one for several weeks. Very reasonably priced and excellent service! They even helped us move the car seats over when we took the Flex for a test drive and helped entertain the kids while we filled out the paperwork. Several weeks later and we just got a call from them saying they found a spare key and shipped it to us! Would definitely recommend Chapman value center to anyone looking for a nice used vehicle.

I got scammed, never buy a car from those people.came in about a year ago and purchased a 2015 Maserati ghibli, after I paid 4,000$ on a warranty that was supposed to cover everything, at least that what I was told. Now only one year after! I had some issues when I called I got told that my warranty doesnt really cover everything only few stuff at the engine, I wouldnt recommend no one to purchase a car from this place I paid full price and top money for literally nothing be careful and dont mess with them batter be safe then sorry

Great experience!! I spoke with Alan the night before and went over my concerns and what I was looking for. Once I came in we test drove a couple cars and he was upfront with the latest details on the vehicles. When it came time for financing I felt like Alan took on my concerns and honored them to the fullest! The manager Robert and Alan made sure I left with a full tank of gas, detailed car and Alan even helped move the stuff from my old car to the new one!!! I would definitely recommend them and will absolutely be returning when I’m ready for a new car!!!

If you are looking to buy a car online or out of state, keep looking! Where do i start? First the finance guy had me jump though hoops going to business and government offices during a pandemic, to prove my out of state status. Then after all was said and done and I accepted delivery of the car, they called me and said I needed to pay AZ state tax anyway. AND tried to blame me for not checking the right box on a form. For which I told them to send me a bill(which I still havent received) now I try to register the car and they never sent over the paperwork to my county office which of course they blame on my finance company. This is all aside from the fact that they never even told me when my car shipped. I found that out through the kahu app that told me my car was already halfway across the country when I didnt even know it had been picked up! if you want customer service or anything to go right, go elsewhere they get one star, first because it wont let you give less, but also because the car was a fair price.... even though Ive only had it a month and already had something up with the blower motor and loose battery cables leaving me stranded so I also assume their checking of th car was less than adequateEDIT: I updated from 1 star to 3 due to my experience with BJ Geisler, who resolved my issue and got me an extension on my tag so I could drive while the title situation was being corrected. Just make sure you dont get Howard Wade as your finance manager

Mike, aka The short Italian guy (there are a few mikes here) was of great help in helping me buy my new Audi A4! The process was smooth and easy and I didnt feel pressured into anything like I had felt at other car sales companies. This facility houses the used trade-in vehicles and is clean and organized. I just bought a car from Chapman BMW. It was a great experience. I work extended hours most days of the week and was a struggle to get down. Alan Lopez was extremely accommodating and helped every step of the way, while being in constant contact. I bought a jk Jeep 2012 from them 2 years ago since then I have been doing nothing but repairs on the Jeep I spend over 10k turns out the engine was replaced before me purchasing the vehicle and the job was done soo horrible that when I took it to bill Luke to replace the left cylinders heads which are under extende warranty due to bad 2012 3.6 engines that Chrysler makes they wouldn’t even fix my car because of bad of a wiring job it was done to the car that I had to take it to another shop to fix it that’s when they let me know the issue with this Jeep. Bottom lines is I hope whoever thinks of buying a car from them thinks twice I know the price is great but long term you end up paying so much more with all the fixes you have to do on the automobile. I’m extremely disappointed I wish I would of never bought the Jeep from them biggest mistake of my life

We recently bought a used suburban from here and though it wasnt a totally seamless experience, the five stars is for our salesperson, Alan Lopez. He went above and beyond for us and was really wonderful to work with. He even came in on his day off to help us get everything squared away. We had some issues with the vehicle after driving it off the lot and he was very quick about helping make everything right and even topped off our gas when we brought it in for the repair. I would highly recommend that customers request to work with him when they go to Chapman Value Center. Weve looked at and purchased several cars over the years and he is the least pushy and most respectful salesperson weve dealt with.
Just recently purchased a vehicle here, and had a great experience. There was above and beyond service provided by Mike M. and Manager Andres J. Notified them of some issues on the test drive and they handled all of them, no problem. If your in the market for an excellent premium used vehicle, I would definitely recommend this lot and these guys, the vehicles are priced to sell, clean and well maintained.
Alán Lopez was the most phenomenal car sales associate my wife and I have ever worked with. We went in for a car we were interested in last weekend, but the car sold before we could make it back in to purchase it. Alan stayed in contact with us and sent suggestions for another car that he thought we would be interested in because of what we talked about wanting the last time we were there. It was the perfect car for us! He was very attentive to what we wanted, persistent to make sure we were satisfied, and unlike many dealerships he wasn’t annoying and pushy at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have purchased 3 cars and this is by far the worst experience. First I was accused of avoiding the calls from the gentlemen to put the device on my car but turns out the dealership gave him the wrong phone number. Then they accused me of not putting full coverage on the car when I did (right in front of the salesman) but the rep didn’t tell me they needed pictures of the car since I was changing the car that was on the insurance. The insurance company denied my photos because they said a corner was cut off so I had to send new ones. The managaer Robert Mills (which I was told by another employee they get complaints about him all of the time) said that he had never heard of this and something isn’t right. This is all via text (extremely unprofessional) not once did he pick up the phone to actually call me. I had Brenda the lending lady sit on 3way with me with the insurance company just so that they could verify my story. Robert said if the insurance wasn’t there by 5 he was going to tow the car. I told him I’d gladly bring the car back and pick up my down payment but he wanted to charge me for towing and other fees so that I could not get my deposit back and when my sister asked if she could get my kids car seats he told her No, I talked to the finance manager who gave me the email and phone number to the actual owner of the dealership whom I will be talking with today. I just would like my down payment back and to not do business with this place. Josh Phillips the one who sold me the car was a very smooth talker which made me think this was a good place but I had another car on the lot across the street I had already been approved for. I wish I would have gone with them. I’m confident I will get my money back but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Do your self a big favor dont do business with comany!!! Everything they did for me was wrong..I paid 4000$ for insurance that cover nothing!I paid 1200$ for gps that I have to put even if I dont want to..They wrote price online 36000$ when I got there it became to be 38000$Just do your self a favor they dont worth it!!
Everyone was friendly, we got the vehicle we wanted at a fair price, and the transaction was overall a pleasant experience. A couple of dings though:1. I specifically asked them not to pull my credit since I would be paying cash for the vehicle. John then brought out a print-out of my credit score and I asked if it was just a soft pull and he said that it was. However, a hard inquiry from Chapman BMW appeared on my credit report, which was a little frustrating.2. This dealership installs add-ons like a GPS tracker and VTR (window etching). I am typically morally opposed to paying for these add-ons because they are a money maker for the dealer and provide little value to the consumer (in my opinion). I’m frankly not that worried about someone stealing my used mini-van that I feel the need to spend $884 on these security features.Tip: The add-ons and vehicle prep fee will add over $1700 to the advertised price of the vehicle (when you figure in sales tax on those add-ons). If you inquire about a vehicle at this dealer through TrueCar, they will waive the $695 vehicle prep fee, and I was able to get a $300 dealer discount on top of that.Overall, a good experience, but just be aware of the add-ons/fees before you go in.
