I am hard hearing impaired going on for 38 years and this is my first time the audiologist orientated me and educated me about the probabilities of the causes of hearing loss and references to pros and cons based on the hearing test result. I am flattened and I feel better about where I stand of my hearing conditions. I totally recommend this provider to anyone who want a better hearing experiences and a better deep understanding based on history record and result.

I was on vacation in North Carolina when I woke up in the middle of the night with a bout of vertigo. Remember when you were a kid and you would spin around on purpose and then sit on the grass to watch the way the sky spins? It was just like that. After the vertigo subsided, persistent dizziness set in. Imagine that somebody tilted the floor you were walking on but didn’t tell you. It was like that for six days straight.I initially went to see Dr. Susan Schmidt for an assessment. She was extremely thorough, capable and processional. She was also very kind and compassionate seeing my distress about what was happening. After the assessment, Dr. Schmidt suggested that I see a vestibular therapist in their office. I had never heard of such a thing before but learned that a vestibular therapist is somebody who helps to correct balance issues by using certain types of physical therapy that help adjust the balance centers of the inner ear.I came in three days after my initial assessment and met with Dr. Camille Lambert. She was just as kindhearted and capable as Dr. Schmidt. She had me sit on the medical table and did two sets a very simple movements like leaning my head back at the neck over the edge of the table at 30° down for three minutes and then moving it up to a 30° angle toward my chest for an additional three minutes. She then had me roll on my side and do another form of physical therapy. When I walked into the office that day, I was more dizzy than I’d ever been. When I walked out of the office that day, I already felt better. By the next morning, the dizziness was completely gone! I cannot recommend Arizona Balance & Hearing Aids highly enough. They were amazing in every way!

AZ Balance & Hearing Aids came highly recommended through my Moms Neurologist. Shed been through two brands at a Big Box store and four additional types at a reputable Audiologist. Some experts said her ears were too small, some said she needed special molds (which she tried), some said she needed to spend more money, and some claimed her ear canals had collapsed and were thus impossible to fit. The team at ABHA set a high bar up front with a comprehensive intake process. Ivy (Solutions Manager) assured me they would pair my Mom with an Audiologist for her specific needs and personality. The testing administered by Dr. Russell was the most in-depth to date. The initial assessment may be tiring for Seniors but worth it. Its the first time my Mom feels like she may have success with an amplification device in three years! The staff, including Jerry (Guest Experience Lead), work in sync to ensure patients and even their advocates have a pleasant and successful experience. If you want to get it right the first time, dont take shortcuts! Go straight to ABHA, where superior technology and high-level care lead to success.

I had a great experience at my first appointment yesterday. I was treated extremely well, felt very comfortable with the entire staff, left feeling confident with my treatment plan, did not feel confused about anything regarding price or billing or insurance. I walked out with my new hearing aids and wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to get treatment. They are practically invisible, very comfortable and super easy to use. I’m happy!

The experience with the staff, the doctor and assistants went beyond any of the best I have had. Their communication was far superior in knowledge and responsiveness than anything Ive experienced in my medical treatments. They had the ability to bring comfort and confidence to a patient which is very high on my list. Also they actually listened and confirmed my concerns by addressing the exact points I made. In September 2018 I started having nonstop dizziness, swaying, tilting, and spinning sensations. It changed a big part of my life. I saw many doctors, neurologists, eye doctors, heart doctors, psychologists, and ENT doctors to help figure out what was going on with me. No one could tell me what was happening. I was given anxiety medications and told to get massages for back and neck pain, I was told it could be sinuses, and at one point I was told that I might have Multiple Sclerosis. This all lasted 3 years, and finally in June 2021 I decided that I had enough and made an appointment with Arizona Balance & Hearing Aids. At this point I had given up hope on one day figuring out what this sensation was & if it would ever go away.I arrived at the appointment and saw Dr. Christine Russell. I was given cognitive tests & hearing tests as well as head movement tests to see if there is some sort of loss of hearing or signals. She found weakness in both ears and diagnosed me with Bilateral Vestibular Hypofunction and started me on physical therapy with Dr. Camille Lambert-Tingle. This office has changed my life. This all started when I was 24 years old and I wish I found them sooner. This condition has been a huge deterrent on my life goals, and I could not be more grateful for the work that Dr. Russell and Dr. Lambert-Tingle have done to get me functioning properly again.I have completed a few months of vestibular therapy with Dr. Lambert-Tingle and I have started seeing major results. I just started driving again, going to stores again and doing things alone without having the feeling that I am going to faint. I never understood how serious vestibular issues are and how much impact they can cause on peoples lives. This office understands these conditions and explains all the details on why I feel the way that I do. I have never felt so understood about my symptoms and for that I thank them for taking the time to walk me through each and every feeling that I am having.

Absolute Great Service. The hospital was trying to schedule us with PHX Childrens who could not figure out how to even. find our referral. AZ Balance called us, got her in the next day. And they have great cookies!!!!

To say that I am disappointed in my experience with ABHA is an understatement.After reading reviews and trying to do my homework I decided to give them a call. I originally phoned and spoke with Miller...On a positive note he was helpful and knowledgable about my type of hearing loss. He wanted to make sure that he placed me with the best audiologist on their staff for my particular needs so he took my number and called me back after consulting with all the partners. I was scheduled with Christine. He asked for my prior hearing tests...I sent them everything I had on file since 2017. I also filled out a lengthy information sheet on prior hearing loss experience etc. Ive been virtually deaf in one ear due to a surgery in 1985. I was told that this was a long term relationship and that the audiologist would have a good handle on my previous tests etc before I arrived.When I showed up I found the office to be not clean...large stains on the rugs etc...I know this has nothing to do with the hearing, I just think its important that if office environment is important you may want to reconsider. I paid a fee of 490.00 upfront before every stepping foot in an office. Which I have never done before at any audiologist. I even asked about the fee before arriving and was told that they had recently chaged it from 250.00 after talking to marketing experts. They were having too many people pay the 250.00 and never return. I can now see why. After taking a cognitive test Christine came in the room and took me in to the hearing test room. The very first question that she asked me was if I had ever had my hearing tested before...RED FLAG. I then proceeded to ask her if she had looked at my file beforehand and she indicated that she was an audiologist that liked to have no prior knowledge of a patient??? RED FLAG number 2. I said it was important to me that she really had an understanding of my circumstances. She asked if I had purchase my hearing aids at Costco??? RED FLAG number 3 I walked out of the room and to the front desk. I asked for my money back which they refunded me. I would be VERY wary of this business. Perhaps if youve never worn aids and have zero expectations this is the place for you. Otherwise take note.

I must say congratulations! Since the fist phone call I had a great experience. They have excellent customer service, answer the phone right away without any automated 15 minute wait. I had to contact them again with questions a couple extra times and they were very helpful and efficient. The appointment was for my toddler son. These are COVID times- so they did a video call first to go over the paperwork and ask additional questions- since when you do the hearing test- you just go directly to the hearing test area. We paid over the phone as well. My husband and I went to the appointment with our son. Dr. Susan Schmidt and the other audiology specialist were great with my son and tried to do it as easy as possible. They did their best at trying to distract him and entertain him. I totally recommend this place.

They are just awesome, amazing, wonderful I can’t say enough. To start Miller is just a delight he is very intelligent and knowledgeable when it comes to the insurance and process. Miller also makes it a very comfortable environment and everyone is always welcome no matter their ability to pay they work with you so you don’t have to compromise your hearing. He is prompt and gets you in quickly! Brennon is also just a delight he’s very personable. He doesn’t make it into an awkward appointment where random strangers are just poking your ears. He actually cares about your hearing and the proper settings on your devices. They really take the time to get it right. I originally got my test and devices at the Mayo Clinic and honestly my experience was 100% better here. My hearing aids actually work now!!! I can hear everything from the steps on the ground to the leaves in the wind. I didn’t realize how much I was missing! Honestly the best place I’ve ever been a million /10 would recommend.

I came to Arizona Balance and Hearing because I was experiencing positional vertigo. I was treated by Dr. Lambert and with just a few sessions I found great relief for my issue. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Since day one that I contacted ABHA I have been met with some of the best customer service anywhere in a long time. The office manager Miller is so informed & on top of things, everyone else I have dealt with from my exam to final fitting were nothing but professional & courteous. Hearing aides purchased were a different story but again the staff have been nothing but encouraging & pleasant.

I had a series of tests done at ABHA which helped my doctors diagnosed what to do next for my vertigo problem. They are very professional as well as friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere of the office is professional, yet relaxed.My appointment was with Jordan. She was very patient with me. She really educated me about hearing. She explained how the hearing aids help my brain. Did you know...In a study that tracked 639 adults for nearly 12 years, Johns Hopkins expert Frank Lin, M.D., Ph. D, and his colleagues found that mild hearing loss doubled dementia risk. Moderate loss tripled risk, and people with a severe hearing impairment were five times more likely to develop dementia.I could go on...the office and employees were terrific!

The employees here were great from beginning to end. Let me start by saying Dr. Day, is the best hands down. We went to her last year in November, for my son who was losing his hearing at the time the audiologist in Tucson, told me there was no hope for my son he should just learn sign language. As a mother to hear that kind of news was very hard but I didnt want to believe that so I did my own research out of town. Lets just say the one place I was sent to was not good at all. Thats why I looked out side of Tucson, and I went to google and typed the best child audiologist in Arizona, and the one that came up was Arizona Balance & Hearing Aids. With Dr. Day, I called that same day and I spoked to Miller, and he was amazing! He not only helped me on every question I had he went above and beyond that day. With me living so far Dr. Day and Miller, made everything possible for me to have my son fitted for hearing aids that day over the phone and we picked them up that following week. When we first walked in everyone was so nice all her staff are the best they all work so well with kids.Dr. Day, was amazing in person she was caring and so attentive to my son I LOVE her she is very hands on and she explained everything to me about what my son was going throw and what to expect. We recently went for a check up and we couldnt believe what happened but it looks like my sons hearing is getting better and he may not need to wear them for very long. I was stuck out of town in Phoenix with a broken hearing aid. I called ABHA and they were most helpful. They sent my hearing aid back to the mfg.and i got it back in no time. The staff was very courteous, helpful and informative. They even lent me a set of hearing aids while mine were in repair.

From the very first time I called their office to make an appointment, they have been extremely supportive and have paid great attention to everything. They ran a battery of vestibular and audio tests for my dizziness. The resident was very thorough and explained everything to me as she did it. A week after the tests, they sent me a detailed report with the diagnosis. The follow-up to go over the test results with Dr. Day and her resident was very detailed too and I didn’t feel rushed at all. Could’ve been explained in lay-man terms more, as majority of the terms used by the resident with use of a powerpoint were unfamiliar to me (or anyone who is not in the field). Overall satisfied with the way things went so far.Within one week of PT with Dr. Lambert I saw a significant improvement in my dizziness. After just 3 sessions, my dizziness was 80% in control and my sleep quality improved too. Dr. Lambert is extremely conscientious and really took time to listen to me describe situations that would cause the most dizziness. Would recommend her in a heartbeat.

I had a great experience with Arizona Balance and Hearing Aids. I visited them to be fit with a custom pair of ear plugs for swimming. My appointment started right when it was supposed to, the front desk was friendly and personable, and Clemente did a great job fitting my ear molds - he told me everything he was going to do every step of the way.

Its been a little over two weeks since my first visit and evaluation and treatment began. I have had tinnitus and some hearing loss for quite a few years and as things got worse I started searching for the latest treatments.During visit #1 I was thoroughly examined and tested - and all the reasoning and results of these tests were explained to me very clearly. I was fitted with a pair of the latest hearing aids and went on my way, not sure what to expect.After about 2 days I noticed the tinnitus was less pronounced and my ability to hear conversation and be more aware of my surroundings had improved. By the time I came in for visit #2 a week later I had ruled out any placebo effect and was really excited about how this was working out.During visit #2 a masker program was added and some more fine tuning of the aids was done. Coming up next week is visit #3 to verify if things are getting better or any other adjustments are needed. I dont want to sound like this therapy is just endless visits - its that these follow ups are critical to me getting whatever relief I can from the ringing! My prior ENT never had a follow up and I felt very uneducated about what was going on with me.Now I feel like Im finally getting relief from the never ending ringing. I cant recommend the team at ABHA enough - they come at the problem from a different perspective and in my case it has been the best hearing decision Ive ever made.

ABHA has spoiled me for any other audiologist.This time, I arrived fifteen minutes early (as one does) -- and was seen early. (How often does that happen? Not nearly enough. The staff here makes sure the trains run on time, and I very much appreciate that.)Brennan listened to my concerns and proposed solutions that were easy to remember and simple to implement. He made sure I had plenty of supplies so I wont have to run halfway across town during business hours to pick up batteries, wax guards, or any of the other things that are designed to be used and disposed of.

Very thorough hearing evaluation. Prescribing was completed to ensure that nothing was creating a situation that would impact my hearing And I was given thorough instructions for every test I completed. Information on my performance was provided immediately after evaluation and a report was sent shortly after.Very safe in the time of COVID. I did not see any other patients at my appointment, I had a temperature screen, and everyone wore a mask.I would absolutely recommend anyone concerned about their hearing to utilize AHBA.

Arizona Balance and Hearing Center is an excellent, professional, customer centered organization. I received a complete vestibular evaluation 11/2018. This evaluation was thorough and complete.Today, I was trying to establish another appointment with the VA involved. Miller was excellent helping me to decide whether to take an available appointment soon or wait for VA approval. I need up calling the Center several times and Miller was excellent is assisting me to decide what to do. He gave me all the options and any pitfalls to decide. He was very professional, customer oriented, and congeneal.Thank you very much. I would recommend this organization anytime!

I had hearing test with Clemente and he was so in control when the equipment wasnt working and instead read the words to me. He then spent over an hour cleaning, setting up my app on a new phone and setting up the programs for my phone and aides. Then best one was wave sounds to drown out the tinnitus ringing in my ear. He reviewed all the workings of my hearing aides, probably for the third time as I always seem to need an update. Clemente is always patient and gracious in proving services.

This facility is the best! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Do not hesitate at all if you have issues with either vertigo or balance.

I went to get a basic hearing test to use as a baseline for future comparison, just to be sure I am aware of any future hearing loss. I am a professional musician, so my hearing IS my livelihood. My visit was very pleasant - everybody was really friendly, the doctor was very friendly and efficient, AND they offered me warm fresh-baked cookies (BONUS!) The doctor was very diligent about explaining the process, and went over the results with me in detail after the tests were over. My impression was that this was a very professional and highly capable team. Of course Ill be back!

I found this business online when my dentist found wax buildup on my X-ray. First of all, the price to have ears cleaned out is only $45, and I felt confident going to a business that specializes in ears as compared to say, CVS clinic. The appointment was seamless, I was taken in immediately and the procedure was over in mere minutes. The tech used a camera to show me the inside of my ear canal. Everyone was very pleasant, and the office is clearly taking extra precautions during Covid Times. Highly recommend. I will go back to them when I need my hearing checked.

This was my first time at Arizona Balance & Hearing AIDS, and from my first phone call when I talked with a gentleman named Miller, I liked this place, Miller was very helpful, thoughtful, friendly, and got me set up with my appointment with DPT, Camille Lambert, she cured my dizziness on my first visit, she knew exactly what was wrong with me after I explained my symptoms, she was thorough and very good at her job, I will recommend her to anyone who has issues with dizziness or any kind of ear problems, this office is awesome at all it does, thank you all, Carol Brown

Arizona Balance and Hearing is beyond knowledgeable and helpful. When I was unemployed and needed an expensive hearing aid they directed me to a foundation where for a reduced fee I got my hearing aid. They treated me the same as a paying patient. Now that I am employed there is no where else I would go for hearing services. You can trust them when there are so many cheap and pushy hearing aid dispensers! I highly recommend AB&H.

I had a excellent follow up visit. I will miss my hearing specialist Sonia, but wish her the best in her new job.

I recently moved to Phoenix and needed help replacing my hearing aid charger.i called around and other places wanted to charge me $100 for a new one.when i called ABHA Miller asked for number on back of charger and found out it is still under warranty.so i only had to pay for shipping.i automatically had my records shipped to ABHA.

This clinic is wonderful. From the moment i walked in not hearing till i left being able to once again hear it was probably the most positive hearing aid experience I have had. This was my third hearing aid and ABHA is the best ever.
