I purchased a recliner from QVC and it was scheduled to be delivered on October 12. Today, September 30, a delivery man called to say he would be here before 5pm. YIKES! Were not ready. He arrived at 3pm. So good. Nice. Efficient. Thank you so much, LUIS!! Youre a gem!!

So far Im not liking how this company runs their business was expecting Furniture to be delivered spoke to the driver gave me a time frame what time they would show up then towards the end of the day they call me and tell me that some of the furniture is damaged and it will not be delivering it to me this is very inconvenient and they need to have better communication with the customer by the way this was furniture that was ordered online apparently its coming from Texas going to Phoenix if they loaded the furniture in their trailer Im sure they inspected it and it wasnt damaged I know accidents happen and it probably got damaged while they were delivering other items but yet they want to tell me that the order is damaged and they cannot deliver it at all I might have to wait another week or so seems like they just gave me the run-around one person tells me one thing and another person tells me another thing due to their company policy they have to return the entire order they cannot drop off the pieces that are not damaged but it is what it is download the choice I guess they will be read delivering the new furniture whenever the furniture company gets a hold of them and figured out what theyre going to do it would really be nice if this company Sullivan Mayflower will do something for the inconvenience they put me through.

From meeting Rich with sales, Linda, our move coordinator, to the loading crew, Mike, Luis & Juan, we were treated with concierge level service, all the way. Our estimate was very reasonable to start with (exactly the amount I thought in my head!) and everything was explained in full detail, no surprises. I chose this company because they have integrity and honesty; I felt relieved knowing I wasn’t being taken advantage of. And, our household furniture and boxes arrived with the red carpet treatment, literally! Thank you Sullivan Moving for your amazing service and helping me to “keep it together” during a stressful time.

We agreed a contract on Thursday for a local move the next day. We paid $1200, we had informed them that we had a problem carpet which we would remove just as soon as they removed the furniture on it. They arrived at 9:00 am and they asked me to sign the contract. After a few minutes, whilst I was gone, they said they couldn’t start because of the carpet smell. I later talked to the manager and told him that at 79 I had singlehandedly removed the carpet and there was no longer a smell. He refused to budge even when I asked Sullivan’s to talk about a compromise as we were all packed and due to leave in two days and they had a reputation for helping customers. His attitude was I don’t care if you have a contract, I don’t care if you paid in full, my men didn’t like the smell of your carpet so we are not willing to assist you further. Of course although we hope to get our money it is amazing that me paying him takes minutes. Refunding our money seems to take weeks.

This was my fifth cross country move in the last 30 years and by far and without reservation the worst. They promise you the world and then deliver very little of it. Some packers refused to keep their masks on when there was a huge hotspot in AZ at the time, the packing was irregular and made no sense: sometimes the same item was packed in one piece of paper -- sometimes it was in five (and note paper is heavy and your job is bid by weight); items that belonged together were packed in four or five different boxes; almost every box was mismarked (if you could decipher their hieroglyphic writing on the boxes); no regard was given to the items themselves (i.e., heavy pots and pans packed on top of delicate glassware); you would discover items at the bottom of the box that were not listed on it or sometimes the marking would be of something completely inconsequential (seashells??) when actually the box contained other important items not listed. Unpacking has been a nightmare and basically the whole thing was a s**tshow. UPDATE: I gave this clown below three business days to return the call I placed to him *at his request*. Once again from this company was the pretense of caring about their customers with no follow through that they actually do (all they really want is to empty your pockets of $$ and lots of it) Go someplace else -- anywhere else will do. Time to let social media figure it out...see you there. UPDATE 2: After long conversations with an underling dispatched by the hypocrite who originally responded to this review who evidently didnt posses the gumption to talk to me himself, their offer to ameliorate ripping me off for $16,000 was to have someone pick up the empty moving cartons and packing materials. Thanks but no thanks.

I am a bit surprised there was not a follow-up with my experience.Upon completion of my move and after I had signed off with papers. It was not till later I had discovered a few items missing.Lesson learned.After your much appraisal of your staff and your company, I am greatly dissatisfied and feel that I have been taken advantage off because of my will to believe in people.With that, I wish in future you would helpful hints to manage a move and most of all follow-up.Sincerely, a disappointed customer.

Im moving day my driver was on time very considerate and extremely careful with my items. Everything arrived at destination earlier than expected and was flawless. Sullivan Moving & Storage moved the household furnishings of my 90 yr. old Mom from Arizona to Indiana. They were professional and very efficient! The driver of the moving van was the best along with his son who also helped pack the moving van in Arizona and unpack in Indiana. The driver was courteous, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. All of our items were safely delivered and on time! They helped make the move easier for all of us! I would use Sullivan and Jim the driver again!

Sullivan did a while glove delivery of an adjustable bed to our home almost 3 hrs from Phoenix. They arrived within the designated window, communicated prior to and during the delivery very well. The gentlemen were cordial, thorough, and completed the installation quickly. We are very pleased with their service.

These guys were awesome! The team from Sullivan Moving and Storage Co. helped my boyfriend and I move all of our stuff from our storage unit and apartment to our new house in the same day. And they worked hard for several hours straight to get the job done on the same day (which is more convenient than having to coordinate over two days). They did a solid job keeping our belongings safe, especially our expensive plasma TV and other valuable electronics and fragile tables and furniture. The movers were even pleasantly friendly to talk to. I highly recommend anyone in Phoenix who needs a moving company to hire these guys.

Great experience starting with the assessment all the way through the process. We had a horrible move with another company when we relocated to Phoenix. The people at Sullivan, along with the driver, went a long way to rebuilding our trust. Good client facing skills combined with a talented and caring team; you couldnt ask for a better combination. Used this moving company to relocate from AZ to MT. The start of the process (meeting with Rich) was smooth as they try to secure your business. The day before the agreed upon pick-up date (a day before closing on the sale of our house) I still had not received confirmation of a time from the agent or driver about when/if the movers would arrive to load our belongings. I had to call (spoke to Linda) several times before getting confirmation and even then an actual driver had not been assigned and I was told our belongings would be loaded onto a truck, taken to a warehouse, unloaded onto the warehouse floor, and then reloaded into the drivers truck. The two movers that loaded our belongings seemed great and got it loaded quickly and seemingly safely. They logged everything on their tablet and had me sign agreeing to the condition of my belongings. As this was my first time ever using a moving company I wasnt aware of the standard procedure for having your belongings moved. These movers did not show me a summary of the condition of my belongings and upon delivery the driver provided a printed version of the itemized list and to my surprise every single piece of furniture that was loaded was marked as being scratched, rubbed, faded, badly worn. Our 55 TV screen was cracked upon delivery and I received no compensation for this. If you learn anything from my experience it is to make sure you see what condition your belongings are marked as being in upon pickup so that if something is damaged during transit they cant say that it was damaged before they took possession. Dishonest and unhelpful.

Do yourself a favor, and choose Sullivan Moving & Storage. I interviewed 4 companies, and they were the only ones who were able to accommodate our very tight window for taking delivery of our goods in CA. They really went above and beyond. And the price was right, too. The entire staff was great, and we actually had fun throughout the whole process!

Cant recommend Sullivan Moving & Storage enough! First off we called several companies and few of them were able to quote us over the phone. The ones that did estimated a move closer to 3 hours longer than what ended up being necessary. From the first call Sullivan was easy to work with, estimated our moving time within 15 minutes from the initial quote and took great care of our belongings! Cant say enough good things about them!

Our moving experience from AZ to BC, Canada with Sullivan/Mayflower couldnt have been better from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and efficient. John B. from the Phoenix office gave us a very fair quote and guaranteed the price; Gary, the driver, was outstanding and Angelot from the Mississauga office, was more than fair in resolving a couple of problems we had. We recommend this company highly.

I have had the pleasure of using Sullivan Moving twice in the last four years. Each time they were extremely professional. Easy to work with, accurate estimates, and quick service. Very careful with breakables. I would certainly recommend them to anyone moving.

Mike and his team: Eva, Patrick, Victor and Zule arrived this morning to pack us up. They were efficient, friendly and very helpful. We have been moved many times and this was the most professional. When in doubt, they would always ask the question to assure we got the pack we wanted. I called in to get information on a move and even though I ended up not needing help with the move, I got all the information I needed from a lady named Kim. She answered all of my questions and was very helpful. The prices were good and I would have definitely used these guys had my circumstances not changed.

Totally clueless . The lady I spoke to didnt even if they went to show low az. Couldnt get 1 answer to any of my questions.

They did a fabulous job, moving was done as expected and on time. The team was so professional and responsible. The moving was done safely and I loved their smooth finishing. Im so pleased by their job.

We were not very happy with our moving in experience. The movers were not very friendly, boxes that were clearly labeled ended up in different rooms, and they told us that if they unpacked, they would do a poor job. As a military family, we have moved quite a bit and have had great experiences. Not this time though. It was very disheartening to be treated this way.

The men who came to move our stuff, take what they say with a grain of salt. Was told something was going to be moved, ended up not being able to be moved and they wanted an hour outside until it was moved. Also the people on the phone are the rudest ever. Walk on glass when you talk to them, because God forbid if you ask them a question you get threatened that they stop working. I was hoping a lot from this place. I would recommend it, but be careful.

UPDATED (10/29/18): I received a response to this post from Sullivan over a week ago that said they would look into my issue and would respond back within 24-48 hours. A week has gone by and NO response...Exactly why I was so frustrated with the move. This company is so unprofessional. They havent lived up to one commitment, and so it continues...This is the only 1 star review I have ever submitted and if I could give a zero star, I would. They were unprofessional, unresponsive, and had no sense of urgency--the entire move was a mess. it took almost 2 months to receive my full load during my move. I tried to be patient, but had to continue to hound them to get the remainder of my belongings out of their storage facility and on a truck. They just kept saying it is a busiest time of year and we are doing the best we can. Hey guys, thats your business. I spent over $23,000 on this move and they certainly didnt live up to their commitment in the contract. I finally had to deal with Mayflower corporate to get them to get the remainder of my belongings on a truck to the final destination. Ive moved 6 times in the last 15 years and I have never dealt with such incompetent and apathetic folks during a move. Choose anyone but Sullivan.

Absolute trash company! Dont have a single piece of furniture that didnt sustain some sort of damage. Cant find anything in the piss poorly labeled boxes, that are thrown all over the house very few of which actually made it into the room they needed to be in. Left several heavy items on the driveway and just left. Trash and furniture parts left all over the street at pack up and unload location. And doing basically no work trying to make it right.Some how when this company screws everything up, its on us to take time off work and ruin our holidays to unpack everything right away, short through and take pictures of all the damage they did and wait until after the holidays so that they can enjoy their own holiday with their family. Save yourself the headache....take $10000+ of your money set it on fire and throw all of your furniture off a building and buy all new stuff when you get where youre going. No idea how these people are still in business....oh thats right, its the subcontractors fault....captians dont go down with their ships anymore, they race the women and children to the lifeboats.
