Mckenzie provided superb customer service. He patiently answered my questions and provided a lot of helpful guidance in my selection of a new iPhone. The phone needed to ship to the store first before I could pick it up. It arrived much sooner than expected, and he let me know right away when the phone had shipped and arrived. I was especially grateful for his patience and flexibility when I came to pick up the phone, set it up, and transfer data from my old phone to the new phone. I couldnt get to the store until late in the day and he stayed after the closing hour to make sure every last detail was taken care of smoothly. All-around awesome customer service!

I went into the store with my parents this past weekend to get a new phone after having the same phone for almost 6 years. Chelsea was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. She was very patient and explained everything in a clear way. She made sure that I understood all of the changes with the phone and that I knew how to use it before I left. This was a much more customer-focused experienced than I have ever had before at a Verizon store. I would definitely recommend this store and will go back in the future. I came into this Verizon store late November the 23, looking for a iPhone 12 pro Max. I knew they were hard to find and I was switching from a phone I just got with T-Mobile. So I needed information that was well and clear before I made any Decisions. Tait was the sale associate who was extremely friendly to me. Explaining in well detail all the information I needed before making my purchase of my new iphone. He also value my time! Being very relatable to talk to. Bought a S10 from them and two days later I was in an accident and broke my phone. I made sure to purchase the total protection plan so if anything happened I could get it replaced. I walked in and explained what happened, and the associate working told me it was like buy a a car wrecking it and trying to return it. the whole process was awful and I doubt Ill be purchasing anything from Verizon again and I recommend that noone else does either. I pay for a service and expect the bare minimum from them, and they could not do that.

I broke my phone and needed a new one. Being in college and still being on my parents phone plan this was a challenge. I walked into the Verizon store nervous and unsure. Then comes Chelsea. Chelsea was working by her self in the store with slow technology and still manged to work with 4 different customers at once getting each of our problems handled during the lull of each project. Not only that but Chelsea made me feel welcome and reassured through the whole process cracking jokes and keeping a lighthearted mood. I cannot write a glowing enough review of my experience.

Manager Jason was simply the best. He was polite and very understanding while dealing with another difficult customer. He made sure I was comfortable and taken care of while having to listen to another customer complain to corporate. He was very professional the whole time. Disappointed in customer service.Went in for help with phone upgrade - my Pixel 2 is dead.The single guy that was working there yesterday was not helpful, wouldnt make eye contact, didnt seem to know anything about getting my phone working well enough to transfer my phone to a new one. Told me I should shop elsewhere. He would have been happy to sell me a new phone, but beyond that, provided no service. Basically a cashier.

Jason and his team were INCREDIBLY helpful and professional. He helped us to save money, get a better phone and work thru an issue with one of our phones that had broken. During the time I was in the store, they were SLAMMED with other customers - 20, at least. Jason and his team greeted each one and assisted them quickly and professionally (even one really cranky customer). This will be the store of our choice going forward. I was exchanging some equipment at this location the other day. I was able to order new parts and change my plan to “cut the cord”. I was able to go take back all my equipment the same day, and pick up a new WiFi-6 router. Even with a short wait at the store, they got me in and out in under 10 minutes. Very efficient, friendly, and helpful. I don’t wind driving a little further to get to this location, as the service was stellar.

Nothing unexpected, didnt mind me being wishy washy on picking a phone that I was debating. I went on a Saturday which was a bit busy so Id probably recommending calling ahead if you think it might be busy. Otherwise was pleasant : )

If you are interested in a phone from Verizon, you may want to look up a gentleman by the name of Zachary J. at the store at 4815 Centre Avenue in Shadyside.I came to him on Sunday a few weeks back looking for an identical phone to the one I already owned. The problem was I had budgetary concerns and just couldn’t spend a lot.He heard my concerns, listened carefully and had a very effective solution that didn’t require me to spend lots of money, and that was music to my ears. His insights made all the difference.As to your question, I got a great deal on a phone that didn’t stretch my bottom line. I am not the brightest if the bunch, he was patient with all my questions and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. I probably asked him the same question fifty times. But you know what? Zachary J. was uncomplaining and reassuring.I say if you are in need of a phone from a Verizon authorized retailer and are in the area or in a different part of the city, come on down and allow a committed, dedicated salesperson by the name of Zachary J. help you find the phone that is best for you in any price point.He cares so it should be great!

This is in the little plaza across from Pep Boys and there is a free parking lot in the back. My Verizon tech had told me to return my Verizon router at this location but they do not accept router returns. They gave me the location for the closest store that accepts routers... Its on Penn avenue which is only a mile away but street parking only.
Zach was amazing and extremely helpful. He’s very patient, answered all of my questions (multiple times) and explained all of my concerns. He’s knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure you understand your phone and plan. I would definitely recommend Zach to anyone who needs help. I will be coming back to this Verizon again!

Best experience I’ve probably ever had at a Verizon store. Zach was SO helpful, friendly and understanding. I didn’t come in late but there were a lot people in line in front of me and by the time it was my turn, the clock was winding down and it was almost time for him to close. But he stayed open a few minutes later to service me and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I definitely recommend this location.

Great experience at this store, we go to this store in particular because they are always so helpful and knowledgeable. They make the purchasing and set up of new phones painless. The wait is minimal, well worth the drive down to this location. There are multiple stores that are closer to us like the Monroeville store but they are always a hassle to deal with.

The store manager(I believe his name was Brandon) was extremely helpful and he went above and beyond to help me address the issues with my phone. This was a pleasant surprise since visiting a Verizon store usually causes me a headache.

Went to try to get my phone activated today. Purchased via Google but Verizon customer service couldnt activate it. Guy working the counter was completely helpless. Asked me if I had tried to call anyone when I told him that the phone function didnt work. Then asked if I was aware that there are other phone companies besides Verizon, and wondered if I had requested the right SIM card when I bought the phone. Completely helpless and actively useless. Go somewhere else if you need anything besides to buy an overpriced phone.

Awful experience.... Go to any other Verizon store! I bought a phone there recently as its my local Verizon store and my phone broke so I needed a new one. I told the sales person that the model wasnt exactly the one I wanted, and she reassured me over and over that I could return it in 14 days as long as I kept it in good condition. I went straight to buy a case and babied it for the week I had it. Sure enough I found the model I really wanted and went to return it.Ive never had an experience like this. I was on trial the moment I walked in. They acted like I was scamming the system by returning my phone (well within the 14 day return period). They spent 10 minutes looking for any detail, and decided the back (which had never been outside a case) was scuffed. She called the manager, said the back is scuffed what do you want to do... The manager asked for a picture yet after several attempts could not see any scuff in the photo... Regardless, they told me they would not accept and I was out of luck. Quite rudely, constantly saying theyre a business and need to make money...Have been to other stores since and they said the phone was clearly in perfect condition. Its not just the rudeness or the attitude... Its the fact that they sold me a phone and said the return would be no problem when I made my situation excruciatingly clear, and then switched gears immediately once the sale was made. It felt scripted and routine, more like minor fraud than poor customer service.
I visited this store yesterday and the 2 young men working there at the time were exceptionally helpful. I purchased a new phone, had my service plan updated and told them I would highly recommend them. One of the employees name was Zach. The young mans name who actually assisted me was Ty.

These diabolical bottom feeders sold me a phone with a warranty good only at their branch, however assuring me that isnt the case. Now that Im in Boston, MA, none of the Verizon branches in my vicinity honor the warranty, and I must go through a third party company to replace my broken device.I also witnessed two employees in July 2012 ask a woman if she would like to donate her damaged phone after conning her into buying a new phone. After she left the store, one employee kept the phone for personal use mentioning a spot in downtown Pittsburgh that would replace the screen for next to nothing.My advice would be to go to a corporate Verizon location when purchasing a phone to avoid this type of debacle, or perhaps revert to using tins cans and a string.
John and Adam are excellent. This is how customer service should work. They are extremely knowledgeable and their goal is for you to leave happy. They go above and beyond and are exactly what a company like Verizon should be doing.Go here instead of to the corporate locations.

Very dissatisfied with my experience at this Verizon store working with Zach. For one he was not fully engaged with us during our time here. We came in to add a line to our existing Verizon account, and when it came time to electronically sign the paperwork, all he did was turn the tablet around and ask for me to sign it. Didnt explain at all what I was about to sign, and also did not ask if we had any questions.The worst thing about our experience is that he SCRATCHED my brand new iPhone 8 when he went to open the compartment tray to put in the new SIM card. Because he was not careful with the metal tool that needs to be used to open that compartment, the side of my phone now has two scratches. Yes, they are small, but as an employee handling other peoples expensive personal property, everyone who works there should be properly trained on how to use the tools.I also was met with a lot of attitude and not an apology when I expressed my concern about the scratches. He did wave the fee for the sim, which I appreciate, but he made it seem like I should be so very grateful that he did this, when actually he should have been extremely apologetic for scratching my personal property. I understand that the scratches were small, yet they are very noticeable, and the point is that the device belongs to me, and he shouldnt be damaging property, and especially should handle any accidental situation with major attempts to remedy the damage, which he did not do at all.

Crooks. Bought a new phone there and was unfortunately talked into buying a screen protector and case with the phone. I voiced that I was planning on purchasing those items on my own online to which the salesman offered to match the lowest price he could find online. He searched the site I was planning on using, claimed to find the lowest price, and ended up charging me $50 for my items. I searched for those items after I left the store and, of course, found that I could have purchased them with shipping for around half the price I was charged. I ordered those items online like I originally planned and had to waste more time by taking a second trip to the store to return my original items. Its not the fact that I was charged more for these items, its the fact that the salesman flat out lied to me so he could earn a few extra bucks of commission. Hopefully future customers will be less naive than I was, but with so many options for places to buy your cellphone, why waste your time at a place like this?
