I go to both the Scoops restaurants in Pittsburgh area pretty regularly during the summer months. Theyre both very good! These are the only old fashioned, parlor style ice cream shops that Im familiar with in our area, and the prices are still very reasonable when Ive seen other places that have lesser quality product go off the chart with ridiculous price increases. Keep up the good work here guys! Thank you!

This reminds me of what it would look be like if everything was still old fashioned. Its like an old-fashioned ice cream parlor but they offer a million different toppings perfectly friendly and quaint.

Yummy. So I tried - Blueberry cheese cake yogurt, Pistachio, Whitehouse cherry, Gold medal ribbon and vanilla till now. Out of these, the best one was Gold Medal Ribbon. Whitehouse cherry and Blueberry cheesecake were too sweet for me. There were actually cheesecake pieces in the ice cream which was amazing. Their ice creams are really good!! Dont forget to get their waffle cones and nuts. I didnt like the Banana split too much but it wasnt bad either. Maybe a Banana whipped ice cream flavor would be nice! Will have to order more to taste all flavors and they have so many of them but a lot of them are usually sold out.Suggestions - Please use better packaging for pints if possible. They leaked from the top.

Love the variety of flavors. Portions are extremely generous, even a kids size scoop is satisfying for an adult, but if you go for more youll be in ice cream heaven. The milkshakes are perfection.

If Im going to eat ice cream, I want the good stuff and thats Scoops. Only problem was they had sold out of my very favorite pistachio, but the Peach I had was good. Parking can be a problem if you come at a popular time, but Scoops is worth it.

Loved the flavors. Waffle cone with a scoop of Chocolate almond was great. Coconut flavor was really a different flavor must try. Overall good experience will revisit again. They did have some small boxed to-go treats and Birthday Cakes too.

The best ice creams of my life. I recently had the opportunity to meet my new favorite place, they have the best flavor in birthday cake, in addition to strawberry which is sensational. Their waffle cone has a unique flavor and I loved it even my husband who is not a lover of ice cream has said it is the best and he ate almost all of my ice cream. The place is always busy. the saleswomen are friendly and the prices are very good.

We came in with a party of 6 about a half hour before closing. The girl working was nice and the ice cream was really good. I’d come back here.

If you like ice-cream, then Leopolds is not to be missed. It is like stepping back in time to the 50s. Very clean, upbeat, cherry, and highly service orienteded. The ice-cream is simply the best I have ever had. We loved Leopolds.

The service was great and the ice cream was delicious. That area of Mt Lebanon has a cozy small town feel to it and theres a lot of little shops there also. Another very nice neighborhood in the Burgh!

Ive gone here since I was in elementary school. I love it so much, and its a great place to bring kids and teenagers. There are many flavors to choose from and the workers are very nice. The prices are not too bad.

Scoops is the best! Ice cream is always great and we love the seasonal rotations. Staff is kind, fast and attentive. Shop is always clean. Our personal favorites are the Graham Central Station and Red Velvet.

I love the down home feel of this ice cream parlor. After a dinner at the neighboring Bados, we stopped in unplanned for ice cream. It was delicious and the service was quick. There are a few tables inside, but when the weathers nice Id recommend sitting outside on one of the benches right on Beverly. Parking is mostly paid on the street and even behind in the lot, so just be aware of that.

This was a delicious ice cream place . They gave us generous portion . I had hot fudge sundae, and my daughter had the peppermint .

Just spent $3 for a single scoop which was more like a half scoop. Their cost per that size scoop is around .20 cents, if that, for the amount inwas served. You dont need anything else.My son liked the sundae shaped like a clown, which included a cookie, cone, decorative icing, and ice cream of choice. Best of all, theyre already made and displayed in the case, which really helps a four-year-olds need for instant gratification.For those who always wanted get diabetes, there are also candies like Big League Chew and push-up pops, as well as a fridge full of fancy sodas like Moxie.

Scoops on Beverly definitely has a 50s vibe going on, between the music being played, the Norman Rockwell art on the walls, and the old time soda pop they offer. The shop itself (well maintained and clean) is fun to go to and normally smells of fresh home made waffle cones. I frequent the store, and Ive found the service to be very efficient, fast, and reliably pleasant, even when theres a decent sized line. Most impressively, Ive seen the store staff treat all customers very well, no matter that they are elementary schools kids (of which there are a lot around 12pm on school days), or seniors.The ice cream offered is usually from Hersheys but not exclusively, and is pretty tasty. They also have shaved Hawaiian Ice in a variety of flavors, sorbet, sugar free ice cream, candy, milkshakes, sundaes, home made waffle cones, specialty cones, cakes (both traditional and ice cream), and a variety of beverages. Just recently the began offering diary products including 1/2 and full gallon milk, whip cream, and the like. They dont have soft serve.Ive noticed the store owner himself busy working the shop during most days, remembering peoples names, what they like to get, smiling, and occasionally chatting them up. He clearly enjoys his job, and for me, that completes the local scoop shop feeling that is missing from many of the chain stores I visited in my youth.

This is a good social place for many elementary-schoolers, middle-schoolers,high-schoolers, and adults to chat and relax, the ice cream is phenomenal and its is hard to choose a flavor. The atmosphere is quite vintage yet also timeless they stock classic glass bottle versions of your favorite pop along with the modern plastic versions.
