The fruit and vegetables were definitely not fresh today. The fresh meat on the other hand was gorgeous. The Delmonicos and T-bones were beautiful and priced nicely. The store was clean but the outside was trashy.

Not the best super market but it serves its purpose what makes up for it is the staff they are awesome

I have been very impressed with quality of their produce and merchandise. Store is clean, staff friendly. We shop there consistently and have recommended them to others. Head and shoulders above other Save A Lot stores.

Fresh food with a wide variety of groceries to choose at a very decent price. The staff are very nice. I personally had a very good shopping experience there.

Its not a bad store. What I like is that the off brands are pretty good depending on what you buy. Most items are reasonably priced and the store is clean and well put together. What I do not like is all the produce isnt as fresh as I like it and the fresh meat (chicken, ground meat, etc) does not have a date that is far enough out imo. You have to either cook the meat within a day or two or freeze as soon as you buy it. The expiration/best by date is just not long enough as it usually is at other (competitor) supermarkets.

The prices are always the lowest in the neighborhood, and the people who work there are always nice. Its rundown compared to other Save A Lots, but its fine for the area.

I purchased the baking supplies I needed and was quickly in and out of the store. The cashier was nice and the wait in line was not long. Prices are always good at Save-a-lot.

Make sure you carry your own bags

A little gem in Wilkinsburg. I went here for a Mexican themed party, and fed 30 people for under $100. Lots of lower cost brands than Giant Eagle just as good. Big bags of shredded cheese lower cost than anywhere Ive seen. Be prepared to box your own items.

Its a decent place to get quick last minute groceries. No specialty items. Its kind of clean. Outside needs to cleaned. Cashiers seem to be nice. Havent had any problems as of yet.-Vee

Some stuff is still overpriced here.They should be renamed“Save-A-Little”They have a habit of stocking expired products and having the audacity and gall to not discount said product or pitch it🤢🤮Staff are mediocre.Store is small, dingy, often seems to have people hanging out in front either begging/panhandlingor teens and other ppl acting off and giving off an air of being the criminal element

My shopping experience at Sav a Lot was fine. Bought a gallon of water. Sales transaction was courteously handled.

The place was a little dirty, but they had all the basics youd need. Plus some cool finds. Cashiers are friendly.

It smelled horrible. The refrigerator cases were warm. Its a shame how the stores in African American neighborhoods are. Corporate should pay more attention.

Unfortunately todays visit was greeted with a store that smelled of bad meat...I really dont like purchasing meat from there UNLESS no other choice and iam cooking same day...

Staff is great, however the food quality can be very poor at times. My bad experiences have usually been with packs of tomatoes and meat.

Most things are relatively reasonably priced. Found it a bit depressing though. Just shopped and got away.

The store is clean and well stocked. The Manager is awesome and friendly. The other employees are curtious and helpful.

Its always crowded here and they only ever have two aisles open. Not to mention dirty. The aisles lined with boxes of products meant to be stocked.

Unless it is already packaged dont bother purchasing any fresh meat from this store. Got home smelled like it was going bad. They also have a group of people other than jitneys that loiter around the entrance.

Prices are fairly cheap as compared to other grocery stores. Wide variety available especially for vegetables and fruits.It could be cleaner though.
