Holiday Market is the closest place for me to shop for groceries. It is convenient however it can be expensive, luckily one of the workers told me about the rewards card available. After swiping the card my total was considerably lower.The people ate friendly and the store is clean.The parking lot can get crowded but after all it is the only grocery store I know of in the Somerset area.Overall its a good place to shop.

Love this store, we go anytime were in the area. They have fantastic wine selection with great prices and great deli area. Also have the nicest staff!

As always Holiday Market has mostly friendly people serving you its nice and clean problem is its kind of high pricing compared to other stores its all right its small Celeste selection but its got fresh vegetables and produce you know so I think I like it pretty good especially if I more money to spend but I dont so I have to watch what I buy there some of their advertised sales they got going are really good it just depends on what it is that you need

Great smaller sized super market that serves the greater Pleasant Valley, Somerset, and lower Sky Park region. You can get pretty much anything you need and the staff are very helpful.

Excellent produce now! Hear that the market hired a new Produce Manager, and it shows. Big selection for a smallish grocery store. Excellent meats! But if youre not a fan of salt, stay away from its premade enchiladas! Bottled water choices are limited, overpriced and many shelves were bare,! Staff is friendly and helpful

Open too late and close too early. Never have shelves stocked. And the stuff stocked is moldy. Disappointing how downhill the store has gone in the last year. I’ll never shop here again.on top of that, the deli had several workers behind the counter on their phones completely ignoring my family and I got over 5 minutes- so we just left. Unprofessional and lack of desire to doing their jobs.

Good people work here. Need to be more strict with new covid spread. Many people I know that go to your store have not gotten their shots. I got mine. This has to be more seriously taken. The public needs to respect others in store that follow rules. I do like this store very much but need some mask rules

I like Holiday Market it is Close to where I live it is Convent also it is more like a Mom& Pop store everyone knows each others & the Clerks Know almost everyone by name and Greet you by your name they are very helpful and most go out of their way to get youWhat you need if possible if it cant be found on the floor its probably in the storage Room and will get it for you They are like it used to be like when I was just a young Boy I enjoy People like that if I Could I would give Holiday Market 10 stars they might be a bit Pricey but its worth going too.

Good prices and good selections. Very convenient location about 12 miles up Pleasant Valley Road in the foothills. No other grocery store available in that local area of Pleasant Valley Rd /Mount Aukum Rd for several miles. They sell Boars Head and Boars Head sandwiches with about a quarter pound of sliced deli meat. I recommend the pastrami/swiss on Dutch crunch with select veggies!

I love this store. Its very close to where my daughter and grandkids live so I usually visit Holiday whenever I visit family. I really like the butter rum muffins.

I love so much about this market, but really wish they would up their produce game, would love more selection, more organic/non GMO options, better quality and longer lasting. Great staff, good local wine selection, quality meats and cheeses. A smaller but mighty store! -- Edit: update: the produce section has really improved!! Would still love some more seasonal variety & more organics in their own section, but the produce is definitely noticably healthier, better organized, more selection and its staying fresh at home longer! Must be the new guy, he seems to really know his stuff and was very helpful. Again, great staff!

Nice little out of town grocery store only 2 miles away. Good quality and diverse food. Friendly employees If you dont see an item you like...they will order and stock it. Delicious hot chicken ready around 5PM. Ive been shopping at Holiday Market for over 17 years. Definitely easier that going to one of those bigger food stores..20 miles round trip. They even have sugar free bakery items.

I dont want to give a bad review but the pandemic is not over. I stopped shopping here because of lack policies regarding the pandemic. Then you got better. Not now!! There is still a virus out there. Customers need masks. Dont like them breathing on my food. No wipes forr carts today. Just not a good feeling place to shop. Sorry

Hillbilly Mart! Dont feel like driving all the way to Safeway and are willing to pay for some slightly overpriced groceries? Get the bonus of people watching the wild mountain people like me who live in the boondocks and go shopping in their pjs and slippers.

Nice and cool inside. Prixes are on tube extreme side. Too high for me. I asked why everything is marked up so much more than other stored she said because it takes more gas to get to the store from the city. Bought chicken salad and it was delidious. Also bought Tejava tea ice cold and on sale 32 oz for !1.49

Love the sandwiches at the deli so glad they added self-checkout makes everything faster everyone seems to be nice there the only thing I would want at self-checkout is more table space for my groceries

Best shopping in the area of course its the only shopping in the area but the staff is very friendly and what they dont have theyre willing to order for you

Been coming here over a decade. Since coming under new ownership, the quality of customer service has decreased substantially. I dont recognize anybody in the store anymore, which is a crummy feeling my hometown. Its packed all day every day now, so be aware that youll be standing in line for 20 minutes instead of 2. Items are the same as they were in 2010.

It had been many years since I had last been to Holiday Market. I was truly craving one of their best handmade deli sandwiches. Big problem being it was just before 10am and deli staff would not make me a sandwich until they opened at 11. Boo Holiday Market what a disappointment.

Very nice market if youre in this area to camp or hike. Great selection of vegetables and goods, and even some nice gourmet items I was surprised to find (that I dont normally find outside of specialty grocery stores even in a big city). Great selection of beers, cheeses, etc

This place is great! Local and employee owned since 2006, I love being able to support this kind of business. The people here are helpful and genuinely friendly and also very conscientious about the health of their customers. They will likely get through the current crisis, (unless the supply chain breaks down entirely) so its good to know that these folks have and will continue to have jobs. This store is a local treasure.

Great local market with just about anything you need. Friendly helpful people who greet you and are always ready to help you find anything. The store is always neat, well lit and the prices are comparable to any chain grocery store.

I like shopping there people are friendly and local and the Corona precautions are all in place and seams like everyone using masks and staying safe

Love the location in our rural area of Pleasant Valley! They have everything you need, plus a great deli with delicious store made salads! Awesome, friendly employees too! Only issue is their milk tends to go bad faster than the x-date in the summer. They probably need to keep it colder or deliver right into the cooler.

Purchased maybe 60 bucks of grocery’s and cost was over $100. Saw the total and my draw dropped and I asked why so expensive.. I am not from the area and was here for the weekend. Not a local and don’t have a rewards card so figured why get it if I won’t come back. I was patiently waiting for my receipt to see breakdown but awkwardly says have a good day. Idk just felt like I got ripped off.

Nice selection, slightly more expensive but there are some really cool specialty items. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The store looks nice.

This place is great! I have been coming to this store for years when I visit relatives and it has come so far. They have top of the line meats ( Boars Head) a bakery and great natural foods. You will delicately find what you are looking for here.They also have have a great wine selection.

Small wonderful family market to shop at.

Was just there. Nathan, a clerk, did not say hello at the checkout counter, said do you need bags bluntly. When I said I brought my own bags, he did not bag my groceries. I did!! No thank you, no eye contact, nothing. At least be friendly. Do these people realize that if it wasnt for us shopping at their store, they would be out of business?? I spend at a minimum, $100 a week in this store. Thats $5,200 a year, and probably more. Wow! Am surprised at the lack of customer service at checkout.

Holiday market never disappoints and this one is particularly good. Super friendly & helpful staff, meats and produce look and taste fresh and a real effort is made to pull in local products (wines, candles etc). Prices seem a little steep but are offset with promotional items and club savings for items that are staples, not just those pushing the best by dates.

Worst covid mask enforcement in the area. Half the customers are not wearing any kind of mask at all. I have been avoiding the store since the quarantine started due to their lack of mask enforcement.

Love the meat department always good steaks. And the butcher is a women who offers good ideas on cooking or marinating various meats. Love the stuffed pork chops.It is a small market but the selection is great and employees are helpful..

Reasonably priced, especially for being in a remote location. Good selection of foods with organic, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free options. Holiday has been in business there for many years, theres always kind staff, and clean store. It has a distinct smell when you walk in. I think its a blend of the deli and bakery.

Holiday market has the absolute best meat there is. Their produce is insanely fresh and always stocked. They are pricey however Id spend the same amount going to other stores in town with the price of gas since we live in the foothills.

We come from the Bakersfield area and we know Mexican food. This place is the best we have found in the mountains. That is saying a lot because I have tried them ALL around here.

The wear a mask rule is seemingly not being enforced our area is on the increase for covid 19 and management doesnt seem to be paying attention to those not wearing a mask as a result I will be shopping at Plymouth at pokerville market from now on

Where would we be w/out Holiday? All the essentials, produce is good, they even have gluten free & vegan stuffs. Their bread selection is good which is how I rate a market. Prices are a little high but go on, give it up! They are in the middle of nowhere!
