I prefer the smaller more personal grocery stores. Very low stress experience.

Heigh prices but comes in handy when I need things in a pinch located very close to my home.

Quick on calling for customer service(check stand) I walked in and lines! I herd the call for service picked up a few things and lines were gone! Thank you very much for staying on top of your customers!

This particular Save Mart on Broadway is small, and I always stop there because its easy to find what I want, and the patrons and checkers are personable and friendly.

Cashiers are always friendly and people on the floor or always very helpful when youre looking for something however your prices are way too high

I wouldnt shop anywhere else!Its going through all the motions to keep us safe!I have no problem wearing my mask and everyone else is too!Always has great deals and I can really use the savings that are offered!Good shopping!

They did some remodeling, and the place really looks good, and smells better. It appears they also cleaned up the help. There was always rude and questionable females running the place, yesterday all I encountered were very friendly, clean, respectful staff. Good job Save Mart! I will be shopping there more often now.

New lipstick - same pig.Ive lived in Placerville for over 25-years, and as SaveMart on Broadway is closest to my house, I have been consistently disappointed with this store - bad produce, poor selection, dingy, old flooring and facade. Recently, the store has been given a face-lift with new flooring and bright displays. I shopped there recently and bought a pre-made salad. Even though it was within its freshness date, the lettuce was slimy and moldy. Nothing has changed with this store, except some new lipstick.

Deli chicken was awesome today. Still waiting for the remodel to happen. New floirs,fixtures and lights will greatly improve shopping experience . Great selection of tortillas too.

I used to shop at this particular Save Mart almost every day. It was the store closest to my house. Well, I recently shattered my kneecap & had to stay at a friends house in town. So I went to do big grocery shopping twice while I stayed there. It was pretty much the same set up as back in the 90s. There was a lot on sale of the items I was buying. And I definitely got a lot for my money. Its an old store that hasnt had a remodel. Its a little dark, & tho I know its clean, it looks a little dingy. Its not the stores fault. And there is a 2nd Save Mart on Missouri Flat Rd., that is bright & shiny & clean looking. Its like that store gets all the perks, & this store, since its around more lower middle class, & lower class homes, that they dont deserve a bright, shiny remodeled store. Ive lived in this town for 40 years & nothing has been done to brighten up this store? That hardly seems fair. I sure get my moneys worth from this store tho. I would love to shop there weekly, but I live a good 20 minutes outside of Placerville. And there is a grocery store only about a mile from where I live. Its more expensive, but they are really good about carrying items that are special requested. Ive called their corporate office & requested items for them to carry at this store a few times. If I lived closer to Save Mart, it would definitely be my main store for grocery shopping. Considering how far out I live, Im just glad theres a store out here st all. Too bad there isnt a Save Mart out here, too.

Theyve updated the store and frankly I liked it better before. Save Marts overpriced, the only reason I went to spend money there was because I had a coupon. Everybodys nice for the most part I suppose. Ill keep going back as long as I have a coupon.

Very expensive grocery store. Recently had some upgrades, but cashiers arent very friendly and constantly chat with each other when checking your goods out.

The new look and layout of the store is great! Its not often that Save Mart doesnt have what we went in for and the employees are always so kind and helpful.

This Savemart, on Broadway in Placerville CA, has no Bakery or Deli. It has recently put in a new refrigerated area in the side entrance of the store and has more food choices.

Very good grocery store 😁 location, ample parking on two separated lots, great selection on meats, cheese, snacks items, coffee and assorted beverages, to include dairy, juice, soda pop, beer and wine. Also has outstanding balance of 🏕️ camping supplies such as food and beverage coolers, ice chests, charcoal, propane, wood, starter fluid, paper towels, bath supplies. Another plus is that this store location has an inside and outside Red Box DVD and video game kiosks. What more of a selection could you even ask for before your next trip up the mountain. Really, last stop till you get to Lake Tahoe.

Normally I would say the prices here are better than most but you really have to watch we got bacon and I wasnt paying attention and it was $10 a package. Not sure if it was something crazy but just didnt like the surprise. People are nice and store is easy to navigate.

I love this smaller local grocery it is so convenient and everyone knows you so they can anticipate your needs! The only downside is they dont have courtesy carts for the disabled and when I am really having a flare up, this is the difference between shopping here or at a bigger store.

Great staff here. Very friendly and helpful any timeni have been here. The only downfall is that the store is small. The selection of some items is white limited. Theres no bakery and deli, though they do have a few bakery items from another location or something.

Just open 2 packages of chicken I purchased last night dated 8-5-20 it was rotten smelled discussing obviously spoiled. This store is repackaged expired meat and re dating it . Avoid this store like the plague.

Small Town grocery store. I may have hit it on an off day, but the produce left alot to be desired. Not as many choices as the big chains.
