Rich fully explains what repairs are necessary and often helps you save time and money by offering maintenance that would require similar labor. (If hes got part of the car disassembled for a repair, he offers appropriate maintenance for other parts nearby so you wouldnt have to pay for labor to disassemble and reassemble again.)

New to the area and had seen good reviews about Eagle on google, so when my check engine light came on for my car I decided to take it here. I am really happy that I did! Rich did an amazing job at going though the check list to figure out what was wrong with the car, and then taking me back to show me what was going on during the process was super helpful! He also did a phenomenal job at explaining everything to me in ways that I would understand! I felt that I was in control the whole time, and that my wallet wasn’t being taken advantage of, which for a broke college student is super appreciated! I highly recommend this place for anybody who wants a good, genuine mechanic!

I love his line about driver comfort. Something may be minor but I if dont mind dealing with it I simply can wait. Maintains my vehicles to prevent larger issues down the road. Weve had our vehicles serviced by Rich at Eagle since we moved to Stevens Point almost twenty years ago. Hes always incredibly thorough, honest and patient with my ignorance. I had my timing belt done on my 2004 Honda Pilot and was expecting to pay 12-1300 dollars for this and a cooling fluid flush. I ended up paying much less. This shop is dependable and affordable. Highly recommend.

Always honest and never tries to upsell me.The Fool will even stay until 3 in the morning to get your vehicle done. Crazy....Drive by pretty much anytime Monday through Friday and youll see the lights on and the doors open.And THATS why he has loyal customers.I wouldnt even dream of sending any of my family or friends anywhere else.Quality work, great prices and NATIONWIDE warranties.What more could anybody ask for?

Cant think of words great enough to describe how great Eagle Automotive is. Rich, the owner, is easily the most trustable mechanic there is. He is very understanding how sometimes parts are better priced elsewhere, and may even make you aware of better places to look. I especially appreciate that he keeps an eye on rebates available for oil changes for my type of oil. Several times Ive gotten a rebate just because he made me aware of it. (Cant imagine those quick stop oil change shops doing that). There are about 10 more convenient ways I could get my 2 vehicles oil changed, including my own workplace having a shop I could simply drop my vehicle off at and pickup, however I still choose to go to eagle automotive for my oil changes because Rich goes above and beyond when changing your vehicles oil... He takes a quick look at your vehicle and makes you aware of things that may be needing maintenance in the future. Not to try and get future business, but because he genuinely cares about you operating your car safely.

I own a BMW, Jaguar and Chevrolet 3/4 ton truck and some past vehicles I have gotten rid of and I have been going to Eagle for the last 7 years. Ive sent lots of family & friends there also.Never had an issue with their work and have found them to be very honest & trustworthy.Sure, there were a couple of instances (3) where they could not diagnose my European vehicles due to specialized tools available only to the dealer - but they printed the list of tools needed from dealer and referred me there. They WERE able to tell me that there was no problem with me driving the vehicles to the dealer for the work. (For this they did NOT charge me diagnostics)I see there was a fella on here that didnt like that they do a free visual inspection on my vehicles every time I bring them in and they give me recommendations/estimates to maintain them. (some people are narrow minded - I LIKE their inspections)Never any pressure to get the work done.Just a matter-of-fact approach: This is what we noted. Now on to the issue that you brought it in for......Although I would be VERY interested in knowing the name of the shop that pays their employees to diagnose vehicles for FREE......??First couple of years, I price checked them against other shops (who wouldnt?) and always found them in line with pricing and they install quality warranty parts (not internet specials) if there ever is an issue.Their work comes with a Nationwide warranty that I had occasion to use in Virginia on an alternator that they had installed 3 years prior on my Jag. Took it to a shop down there and the whole job cost me $75 for the towing. (BTW - Jag parts are not cheap).I normally dont review businesses - I dont have time for it but the review left on here is a joke that just rubbed me wrong and was obviously left by a person that does not/did not want to understand that there is more to maintaining a vehicle than just taking it in when there is a problem.No, they are not big and fancy, dont spend tons on advertising (Im sure they get TONS of word of mouth) and they dont spend a lot on the frills (lower prices!) but if you want personal, honest, trustworthy service with Nationwide warranties - this is the ONLY place to go - period.Heres some pics I got from Yelp

Lifesavers. Halfway through a 5 hour drive my car lost acceleration and became terrifyingly unsafe for the freeway. It was a Friday afternoon and just before closing for Eagle Automotive. The issue required the engine to be cold to be diagnosed, and they said parts would definitely need to be ordered. So a real fix couldnt happen before Tuesday at the earliest, which would have left me stranded. Instead, not only did the owner and his mechanic stay past closing to temporarily fix my car so I could get home safely, but he then refused to charge me anything for the hour+ they spent on my car. He finally accepted the cash I had on me and he said hed pass it along to his mechanic. I was so overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity. If I lived anywhere near Plover, WI I would never take a car anywhere else. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
