This was the worst experience. They BROKE my fridge when they came to do a simple defect repair. Now I’m out thousands of dollars. It’s been nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. The technician they sent out twice left both times with the fridge not working. He left my house without even letting me know he was leaving. I would never recommend them- stay away.
I really wish I could rate this place ZERO stars but unfortunately google makes me at least do 1... doesnt even deserve the one star. Horrible company. Trust the bad reviews, go somewhere else. Hope this place closes for good. Bye felicia.
DONT EVER USE! No service, unresponsive. No accountability.I would also leave ZERO STARS if possible. I got stuck with them. Here is how.My story: I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator (my first mistake). It stopped cooling after several months--less than a year. I troubleshot it as suggested in the manual, and nothing worked. I called Samsung and they gave me a repair order and ticket number for LAKES ELECTRONICS and said they will be in touch with me. I never heard from them. After 1 week, I called Lakes Electronics. They gave me an appointment for several days later. It was a Friday, I took off from work and waited and waited all day. I called them at 4:30 pm. The operator was apologetic, but said the company needed a part for the repair that did not come in. I asked them, Why didnt someone call me? and the operator didnt have an answer. So I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. They were not available, and as luck would have it, the specialist for my area was also not in.But the operator PROMISED, on Monday morning (today) the repair to my new refrigerator would be made, and if the technician did not call me by 10am on MONDAY, to call the company back. Again, I took off from work, and waited all morning. No phone call. No repair man. I called them. IT TOOK ME SIX TIMES TO GET THROUGH TO A LIVE PERSON. Again, I spoke to an operator who said now my appointment is for TUESDAY (tomorrow). I asked, was someone going to call me?, she had no answer. I asked AGAIN to speak to a supervisor or manager. No managers, no supervisors were available. In meetings and not at work today. Crazy.This is one of the worse experiences I have ever had, with any service, ever. How is this place in business? I am waiting for a call from a supervisor. If I do not receive one, I will certainly be contacting Samsung with a harsh and well worded letter suggesting that they terminate the contract with LAKES ELECTRONICS and thoroughly review all these complaints here. Shameful.
I returned the call 2 weeks after samsung sent it for a drier repair. I didnt have the ticket number and the person on the phone was very rude. When I said I understood she proceeded to rush talk over me very aggressively. I said maam I understand what you are saying Im just letting you know what they said. They told us that it may be free since the part but to speak with you and we would know. She again rush talks about call samsung if they are warranting it thats a them problem. Then loudly stating ITS A TICKET NUMBER. I found my ticket number after hanging up the phone but Id rather pay a company whos employees arent so rude on the phone.
I dont know why people have given this company such poor reviews, except they dont understand how service businesses work and probably complain about everything on a daily basis. Anna made my appointment, gave me a day that they would come. She did have to cancel first appointment because the parts had not made it yet. No big deal, thats what happens sometimes people get over it. The next day she called said the parts were in and the tech would call with a time window. German was tech he was professional, very polite, and knowledgeable. He had my icemaker replaced with in an hour. I really dont know what else could ask for.I dont run a service business myself, but I do deal with repair places a lot in my profession. A few things to keep in mind, whether youre getting your hair dryer or a 100 million dollar yacht repaired.1. You are not the only customer they have. They have to schedule in a way, making sure they can serve the maximum amount of customers. Sometimes a repair can run into unexpected problems and take longer. This is why they cant give you an exact time.2. Parts take time to get. Nobody has a warehouse with every part for every appliance ever. Depending on the age, popularity, and model this can take sometime.3. People mostly treat you how you treat them. If they seem rude maybe you should look at yourself. It can be very frustrating having something you paid good money for break, but try to keep your composure and be polite, it will go a long way. Trust me Ive tried it both ways and nice is always better. These people get yelled at all day long by frustrated customers, remember they didnt come into your house and break your things, the didnt design or manufacture it, and they dont control the supply chain.4.Before you write a review bashing someone or a business, keep in mind this is someone if not several peoples livelihood. Take the time to evaluate whether they are the problem or it is an outside source, out of their control causing the delay.I almost canceled my appointment due to whiny reviews, and Im glad I didnt, because they did an excellent job. If I would have canceled that would means. Less money for company, less money for Anna and German, who Im sure all have families they need to put food on the table for.Think about that before you cry baby your 1st world problems online.Thanks Lakes Electronics for your wonderful service.Dustin Roach
We bought a stove at Home Depot (dont do that ever). They third party out the repairs to appliances that are brand new and dont work. They gave us Lakes Electronics. The WORST customer service, technicians dont fix the appliances, then they try to tell you that since you took out the natural gas orifices and put in the LP gas orifices that come with the stove that you altered the stove so we cant do anything for you. They told me I needed to order parts, wouldnt tell me what, and that they couldnt order them on a closed ticket. Worst customer service I have ever had. Samsung should remove them from their vendor list. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEM FIXED. Wont honor the Samsung Warranty. Did I say how HORRIBLE this companys customer service is? Horrible!!!!
On 08/24/21 I received a notification from Lakes Electronicsas my Samsung Authorized Service Center letting me know about a scheduled visit to my house on 08/30/21 (Today). I replied, confirming the date and time.Not having heard from Lakes Electronics by 11:00 am today, I emailed them, Luz replied: The technician will contact to you todayBy 3:00pm I emailed Luz again asking for the status, at that time she asked me for my telephone number and called me back to say We are sorry but we dont a tech available for your area, they all got covidIt is appalling to see such a reputable company as Samsung to rely on an organization that lacks professionalism and respect for the customers. Lakes Electronics excuse for not fulfilling their obligation is unethical to say the least, how can they not know their technicians were infected until 3pm today? The service was scheduled 6 days prior and today at 11 I was promised a call back.I wonder if this a standard business practice of this organization
Our 6 year old Samsung fridge broke (Lakes fault). We waited 2 days for a service call. The tech spent 15 minutes doing basic diagnostics we already did, then phoned the home office and gave me a price of $1300 for a compressor install. No fluke meter brought out, no fan check, no coil check, etc. Went straight for the most expensive thing, then told me they had someone else do it for them and it came with a 3 month warranty. This company is a joke. Samsung appliances are junk. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG AND DO NOT LET LAKES COME RIP YOU OFF for $99!! What a waste of $99.

The repair persons work was sloppy; I gave him a blanket to put the TV on but he still allowed the front edges to scrap the floor several times and he stepped all over the blanket. He did not put the legs back on correctly, he left screws missing, and he put a small whole in my wall. The new replacement part he brought with him was defective and now the TV has no picture at all. I wont even bother to contact Lakes Electronics again. I submitted the repair nearly a month ago and still no TV.
Ann is probably the most rude and combative individual on the face of the planet. First they don’t offer you an appointment. They tell you that they will call you on a specific day and let you know what time a technician will show up. They don’t even offer you a window of time for service. They act as if you should just sit at home and wait for their call. They have absolutely no care or regard for you as a customer and Ann will argue with you to the end. Poor customer service is definitely an understatement. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me that they were too busy to speak to me. I told her I would call Samsung to dispatch me to another company for service and she told me that’s fine with her. Not only did I call to be reassigned, I spoke to a supervisor at Samsung and had them to get online with me to read these reviews and expressed to Samsung that they should be ashamed for working with a company such as this. The Supervisor decided to escalate this to their superiors so I hope that they ultimately discontinue their work relationship with them.
Absolute worst company for repairs. Shame on Samsung for certifying them. They don’t honor their hours of operation, return calls, or show up for appointments. I cannot express my disappointment strongly enough. I recommend find you another service. Don’t waste your time or money. Typical South Florida.
I had a scheduled service on my cloths dryer (Best Buy) and they did not show. I called Lakes and spoke to the first associate, she took my name and address, then transferred me to the second associate who took the same information. She informed me that I did not have appointment. Before I could find out why, she hung up(very rude). I called Best Buy customer service. They said I did have appointment. She called Lakes while I was on hold and she informed me that they very rude to her. Hung up on her. Best Buy set me up with another servicer.After reading some of the reviews, wasnt just me I am amazed that theyre still in business.
I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance and they never showed up, after I had requested the day off from work thinking my TV will get fixed. No phone calls, nothing. Completely forgot about me. Very unprofessional. I called Samsung support and they had arranged a different company. I also reported this, Samsung needs to pick a better provider.
I don’t know where to begin,but I know for sure they are the worst people to deal with.It was a brand new refrigerator and it stopped working after 6 months,I called Samsung and after a week this company showed up.First technician couldn’t find the problem.After a few days another technician came and told us I find the problem,was a leak on the capillary tubes to the compressor,he said I fixed it and everything is good now.Still didn’t work right.I called again Samsung,guess what the same technician came who told us everything is good now,And when he came he was lying,was telling us i was not here before.Whatever.Now my Refrigerator just passed 1 year,is not under warranty and has a bad compressor.Please Stay away from this company
My appointment was scheduled with this company to repair my washing machine . The technician called me and hung up and made it seem as if the customer was unresponsive. I called him back and texted ; no response. Appointment had to be rescheduled and I had to take another day off from work . This company has poor customer service, Unprofessional technician, and not knowledgeable/poor training. Technician came to my house and repaired unnecessary things on my washing machine (twice )that was not the main issue . Order two unnecessary parts which left me without a washing machine for 1 month. WORST company ever . I had to switch repair company and they fixed the issues first visit and corrected what this Company did wrong.
In a million years I would never again deal with them again. The young girl answering phone is rude, disrespectful and inconsiderate. Scheduled an appt saying it was the absolute only time they could do. Then after us driving across the state to get there for the schedule appt find out she decided to reschedule without even telling us. WORST SERVICE EVER. You can tell the customer service people hate their jobs. Horrible attitudes. They were scheduled by Samsung to fix two new washers. They were a no-show for the first appointment. No call no communication. Then on the next appointment scheduled out another two weeks,they didn’t show and I’ve been trying for an hour to find out where they are. Samsung is on the phone with them and they can’t even get an answer. They put me on hold for 20 minutes and just disappeared. I asked to speak to the owner and it was met with arrogance. Again put on hold goin new here. So if you have a service call on a Samsung item directed to this company good luck. If you can avoid them do so at all cost

Contact UBREAKIFIX to have your Samsung appliances and electronics repaired. I would give them negative 5 stars but you have to give one star so your comments will be seen.

TERRIBLE COMPANY! Worst customer service ever! Dont ever deal with them. I got stuck with them thru my Lowes Extended warranty for my dishwasher. I called them to confirm my appointment the day before and after being transferred multiple times, and put on endless hold, they still had no record of the appointment. Their customer service is rude and couldnt care less. They finally agreed to come but said, no one is available until almost 2 weeks later. They said they only have 1 technician??? What kind of company is this??? Lowes repairs & warranty department was on a 3 way call with me and this company and Lowes tried to straighten this out, but it was a complete waste of time. I will be contacting someone at Lowes Corporate Headquarters today to hopefully have them NEVER USE LAKES ELECTRONICS AGAIN! From reading all the other reviews about this company, I see Im not alone with this.
I had a samsung refrigerator that the ice maker broke. Lowes set up the appointment with them. They called and set appt time. Then they called and cancelled. They told me they were going to just order the part before coming out. They told me they would call when the part was in. 3 months later I had heard nothing. I called them and they had no record of me. The lady told me I had to have a ticket number so she could look me up. I told her they never gave me a ticket, I never got an email or anything, but that I had talked to them and they were ordering my part to fix my refrigerator. She first said I never talked to them. Then she told me I had to have a ticket from Samsung before they could help me. I asked her why they didnt tell me that 3 months ago. Again she claims that I must not have talked with them!! She was very rude! Then I tried explaining how that in that 3 months the warranty expired and now I could not get it repaired under warranty because they left me hanging for 3 months. They had to have lost the original ticket from Lowes for the repair. While I was explaining this, SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! Wouldnt recommend them to anyone!!
Absolutely the worst customer service.. after 30 min to an hour on hold every time I call and never getting answers or call backs as to when they are coming to fix my washer I finally had to ask for the owner Andy who still hasn’t called me back! They make appointments to come and never give you a time. They show up with the wrong parts. The next time They made an appointment without even having the parts and never call to cancel after I took the day off. The next time After you ask for a time they tell you someone will call you the day of... they never call. I called the day of after the 4th appointment to get a time and I’m placed on hold for another 30 min to get hung up on... the receptionist has an attitude after you explain the issue and asked to be transferred to a manager! They take your number and never return your call.... RUN!!!! Trust me use someone else!!!

Wow! Called Lakes Electronics for the first time ever looking for an audio part and encountered the rudest operator (woman) ever! In 30-seconds she was intolerably belligerent. Based on this very short encounter, I would not recommend Lake Electronics to my friends.
Our refrigerator was not cooling on the refrigerator side. I called and I was given Lakes Electronics phone number and ticket number for the repair. The Samsung representative stated, Lakes Electronics will call you within 24 to 48 hours. Lakes Electronics NEVER CALLED 5 DAYS LATER. Secondly, they phone number answering system states they open at 9 am. I called at 9 am and I called every fifteen minutes until 1:15 pm when I finally received a person. The receptionist immediately put me on hold for two minutes and when stating my ticket number for a technician the receptionist stated a transferred was needed to fulfill my request. I was HOLD FOR TWENTY MINUTES AND THEN THE CALL DROPPED. LASTLY, I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW AND BLOGGING ABOUT THE NONE SERVICE CALL AND DISRESPECT TO A SAMSUNG CONSUMER JUST WANTING THEIR REFRIGERATOR REPAIRED.BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY--YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!THE SCOTTS
My fridge, bought through Best Buy with an extended warranty issued by Geek Squad sent the repair order to this company,It is very unfortunate that we were so unlucky with the service provider assignment.1 - Even though their attendant says that the hours are from 9 to 5:30pm, they dont answer the phone till at least 10am.2 - When you are lucky to get a human voice, theyll ask for your zip code and put you on hold without saying ANYTHING TO YOU.... almost forever. then the phone keeps playing a fried music until it rings again, and goes back to waiting.3 - After 30 minutes of keeping you on hold, their system kicks you out and disconnects.4 - Even though they had initiated a call to us, when I called back, after having spent way over an hour, the person on their end blamed me for not having internal information that Geek Squad shares with their vendors.And will hang the phone on you.Not sure why they are so nasty to clients. They seem to be a small company with more business that they can hanbdle, but their reaction is to be nasty to the clients.Im not doing business with them. Ive requested Best Buy to be serviced by another company
Very poor customer service from.the moment they answer the phone. Kept transferring me and then wanted me to call another number. I explained I wasnt going to keep getting transferred and calling other numbers for service and told them I would call someone else and the unprofessional girl who answered the phone just laughed and said ok.I would recommend you call another company that cares about their customers. I received their number directly from Samsung. I will be letting Samsung corp know how poor their customer service is as well and they may want to rethink referring their customers to them.
We called about a broken cooktop under samsungs warranty. They denied our warranty claim then walked back in and said, if we paid cash now. they would replace our cooktop. Needless to say we said we are not paying cash we believe were inside our warranty. I will be reporting to samsung but have little faith that anything will be fixed.

Tech was a no call no show.A week (7 actual days) later, I get an email saying that they won’t send a tech out and want a video or photo of the problem. Wasn’t a consistent issue(solid black line, dead pixel) so no “proof”could be made.Had to buy a video camera and finally got the proof, but now my warranty is expired.
Horrible customer service. Very rude, changed appointment dates, refused to honor a Samsung warranty, put on hold for extended length of time and was told a supervisor would call me back, it took 6 hours and she was very rude when she did. A very poor representation for Samsung.
Technician arrived without parts to repair my Samsung DW despite having clarified the issue myself. He left and closed the ticket, so now I have to go through Samsung again to open the same ticket, this time I specified that I DO NOT WANT Lake Electronics to be the ones to repair the DW. You can call them but be prepared to sit on hold for eternity. They also do not return calls or follow up. Absolute scum bags..
Lakes Electronics contracts with Samsung for warranty repairs. Lakes did not investigate a leak on my dishwasher, and instead looked for unrelated reasons to void the warranty.I bought a Samsung dishwasher 8 months ago. A week and a half ago, it started flashing the error code of the normal light blinking.The manual says that means leak detected. The dishwasher also tried to turn on and run with the door open, which is a safety issue, since spraying water in an electrical device seems bad. I had to cut power at the breaker to keep it from trying to turn on and run door open or closed.I claimed the warranty with Samsung Electronics.Lakes Electronics is the service company for Samsung. The nearest appointment was 8 days later - more than a week later.I had the breaker off to the machine that whole week before Lakes Electronics came, because I was worried about it turning itself on with the door open. It had plenty of time to dry out.Lakes Electronics sent the technician out. I explained about the normal light flashing fast (error code for leak detected). The technician had me turn on the breaker, and the machine acted normal. Thats after a week for any moisture under it to dry out. He told me its not broken and nothing is wrong with it. He then took off the metal panel on the bottom of the front, and took off the cover for the circuit board and said I had a roach infestation they crawl on things and that voids the warranty. There wasnt any roach poop, and what he said isnt true. He then left. He was only in my house for maybe 7 minutes, and didnt do any diagnostics or try to find a leak. Hed started the dishwasher running. After about 30 minutes, it started flashing the error code (normal light blinking which the manual says means leak detected). I cut the power at the breaker, and took the panel off the bottom front, and there was a big puddle all over the floor under the dishwasher. Meaning the circuit board is fine, and the dishwasher has a leak. Lakes Electronics didnt check for a leak and left about 5 minutes after starting the machine, so didnt wait for the leak to trigger the error code.Lakes Electronics then filed a report with Samsung saying roach infestation, roach infestation. So Samsung says they cant cover that and its my fault.I believe that this is an intentional scam run by Samsung and Lakes Electronics. Any appliance will be either in the kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave) or garage (washer, drier). So around food or near the outdoors. Samsung can accuse people of having roaches and shame people into abandoning the warranty. Lakes Electronics didnt check for the leak Id reported, and instead seemed to be specifically interested finding something to void the warranty - Lakes Electronics is working for Samsung and not on the up and up. I encourage anyone else scammed by Samsung and Lakes like this to take photos at the same time the technician is there, showing things are clean (they were and I did), so that youve documented that Lakes Electronics is lying.Then report to the Florida Attorney Generals File a Complaint part of the Florida Attorney General website.Then report to the Department of Financial Services Submit a Request for Insurance Assistance page and file against the service warranty held by Samsung Electronics with the Department of Financial Services.Samsung and Lakes Electronics are working together to steal one appliance repair at a time. A new dishwasher is $800 for me. I would have to pay more than $800 to sue to prevent them stealing $800 from me. Its a money loss to sue and win. And, anyone who sues or tries to hold Samsung accountable will be smeared and accused of being dirty and told roaches, roaches, roaches. Thats to try and make you feel ashamed and make you back down. Its still illegal to steal. Samsung is required to honor the warranty. You own the warranty.The Attorney General investigates situations where a company steals a small amount from hundreds of people. When Samsung scams you, please report it.
They called to cancel the appointment that they setup to look at my oven and to repair my ice maker in my refrigerator at last possible second. They said that they have not gotten the part in yet . And then asked them can they still come out to see what’s wrong with my oven . They said that they can only do the two things at one time, because they don’t want to make several trips. They were going to have to that anyways if they had found something wrong with the oven. THey would have to order a part if they need to . And they would have to make another trip back out to the house to replace the part anyways.
This is not only the worst appliance repair company it is the WORST company that I have ever tried to do business with. If they did not have the warranty claims agreements with these manufacturers this company would fail and crumble in a day. Our cook top would not turn on and Samsung provided this company to do their warranty work. Took 3 weeks to get an appointment and then on the day of the appointment I was told they had nothing scheduled so took another 4 days. Technician showed up and refused to touch the unit because it had power to it. I removed power and technician came back 3 days later only to tell me that he didnt have any parts to fix it. They ordered the parts and came back 4 days later but ordered the wrong parts. They supposedly ordered the right parts then they missed 2 separate appointments with no notice. I requested to speak to a manager twice with no call back, got hung up on while on hold with them at least 8 times during this process, and had multiple appointments not scheduled correctly or just no show all together. I called another local company and had to pay out of pocket for the fix due to this companys COMPLETE DISREGARD for their customers. NEVER LET THIS COMPANY COME ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HOME!!!

Samsung scheduled a repair with this company i have been placed on hold over 30 mins 1 day and today still om hold over 45 mins. I ask to speak to supervisor no one is there. I left messages yesterday and nothing. Had samsung on the line and again they witnessed the level of unprofessinalism they were contacting them too and same thing. The lack of assistance and even care with customers makes me truly wonder if they will even take the repair on my new tv seriously especially when i continously advise it is for specjal needs child
VENJONY was our tech, & HE DROPPED OUR FLAT SCREEN TV ON ITS FACE. We had screen issue with our 75 inch TV. He came to take a look and wanted to move the TV, fine. While moving it he cause the TV to collapse on the screen, causing it to chip the corner.We called for repair, not for him to ruin the tv even more. What a joke of a place, unprofessional. What will you do to compensate???Quoting us $1,600 to fix the TV after your tech ruined it more.
Never showed up after initial diagnostic appointment. Call to check in two weeks later and told parts not in. Person finally calls several days later. Made an appointment for Saturday but tech is a no show. Tech calls several days later and says they don’t work on Saturday sets appointment for another day. Tech said my service ticket fell thru the crack and they have had the part for a while. Never shows up for the new appointment and does not call. I call back set another appointment, does not show up again. 4th call back person answering the phone indicated I would need to pay another diagnostic because the initial estimate was over 30 days. Why would I need to pay for another diagnostic when they have already diagnosed the problem and it took more than 30 days to get the part?

I was put on hold for over14 minutes with no one coming back to the line to apologize for the wait nothing. I use my office phone to call same procedure what is your zip code tv or appliance and phone rings no answer . so i decide to use my office phone to call same procedure ask for zip code put on hold. that is unacceptable for a business. my stove is only a year since I got it. its now five minutes later still no response no response
Reading the reviews for this company cracks me up...... We needed a Samsung repair and we were sent to Lakes Electronics, they called me to schedule an appointment and yelled at me.... I just needed a repair but somehow I didn’t follow their policy asking to schedule an appointment and the scheduling agent scolded me. Sorry to bother you...... We found a company who was grateful for our business. ✌🏼
Wow this company is terrible. My less than 3 year old samsung stove caught on fire and they sent me to these people to come diagnose the problem. Im not sure whether they can do that or not since I cant get past being on hold and hung up on by the extremely rude operator to even schedule an appointment. At this point its probably better to spend the extra $100 on a service call with a reputable company rather than continue trying to deal with these people.
Lakes came out 6x to fix an 18 month old Samsung dishwasher to no avail. When after 40 hours of time on the phone with Samsung they agreed to give me a greatly reduced refund, the door Lakes replaced does not have a label on it so my refund has been denied. I have been on hold for hours waiting to help.
Samsung arranged for this authorized service company to repair my refrigerator. The technician was supposed to call the morning of the appointment to give me an arrival window. He never called or showed up. I blame Samsung for not using reputable service companies. Its no wonder this company gets such poor star ratings.
We have bought an extended warrenty for our Samsung TV. The company assigned Lakes Electronics to perform the repairs. We have been dealing with this since December 2020 we are in April 2021.Their customer service is terrible, they want to schedule days that we have to work, so Lake Elecronics closes the ticket. 65 TVs are so inexpensive I would rather buy a new TV than deal with this BS company any further.
Lakes Electronics is a representative for Samsung products and they charge you $99 for a service call to diagnose a problem even though it is fully covered under the warranty. They say that the diagnosis is not part the service called and is not covered under warranty‘s. This is totally ludicrous. When you call Samsung. they transfer you to Lakes who is their official representative but for some reason they do not honor the guarantee. It’s really poor customer service. Fully warranted to me means fully covered. To Lakes electronics it must mean something different.
If I could give negative stars I would. PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!Garbage is what it is.Same as the other reviews. We got a tv from Samsung and it started having a yellow line through it contacted Samsung they put us on contact with this company.Technician comes over takes about not even an hour says he needs to order parts and next time he needs someone to be there to help him maneuver the tv.When the parts came in and we had to set the second appointment. WE SCHEDULED IT 3 times, on 3 different dates and we kept getting it canceled.Because the technician didn’t show up at work or “he had a bad day”My husband had to pay someone to be here on top of that to help the technician maneuver the tv but the technician never came.Horrible horrible.No customer service. They don’t care.Please please avoid.
Time wise, it took way too long to figure out the problem. Long, long hold times when I called. ( I mean over an hour)But in the end, my technician, Chris, had us back to baking and thats a wonderful thin

We brought a Samsung TV 8 months ago. This company is the one that handles repairs for Samsung. The customer service is terrible. We tried for an hour and a half for someone to answer the phone. They set up an appointment finally one week out. They never showed up, never called!!!! This company and the people just do not care about taking care of customers!!!! If Samsung knew how this company is handling there customer service they would change companies...... They have us going in circles now trying to get it fixed.......... Terrible company
They are horrible. They made an appointment and changed it with a few hours notice and then never showed up at the next appointment time (without notice). They were supposed to service my Samsung refrigerator. I would give them 0* if I could.

Take forever to hold on the line. Request a lost of paper documents before they send out their guy. After all. They still cant set up my appointment. Finally, I need to call samsung to change to a new service company. Dont spend even a minute with this company. If you are assigned for this company. You need call samsung right away to change to a new one.
BE AWARE!!!Absolutely WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ON WHAT THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. Starting with the schedulers Christina, to Jessica and Betsy!I called in on March 18th about a service ticket that was provided to me by Samsung for my Dish Washer and Stove Top.That day I was given an appointment for the 25th of March. I was informed that someone would be calling me between the hours of 9-10AM to inform me on the time they would be out, well that never happen. Someone called me at after 10:30AM to inform me that NO ONE WAS COMING, due to parts being ordered for my Dish Washer and Stove Top. Not sure on how they would know what was needed since no one has been out to Diagnose the issue. Anyways part had been ordered and had not arrived yet, so they changed my appointment to the following Monday, March 29th. March the 29th NO ONE CALLED AGAIN, I CALLED AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PARTS HAD NOT ARRIVED YET AND MY APPOINTMENT HAD BEEN RESCHDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY, April 2nd. Well GUESS WHAT no one showed up and no one called either, surprising, huh?Monday, Yesterday April 5th I called inquiring about what was going on and I was put on hold for over 30 mins, hung up and called again and was put on hold again. Called again from a diff number and WAS NOT PUT ON HOLD, SINCE I WAS CALLING FROM A DIFF NUMBER. When I asked the person, who answered if I was going to be put on hold like I was previously, and she heard my voice she laughed and just put me on hold again without a question asked.I called Samsung and cancelled any services that I had scheduled for Lakes Ele.Lakes Ele. Called me today and to be specific it was Christina once again about the 2 tickets I HAD with them and when she heard my voice and noticed who I was all she did was laugh and kept saying Have a Good Day.The entire department of Lake Ele. Needs TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE! & I AM SPEAKING FROM EXPERENCE SINCE I MYSELF WORK FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARMENT! Have been a dispatcher for the past 10 Years and know how busy it can get and forget stuff, but the way Lakes Ele. HAVE!!!Never in my life have I been treated the way I was treated, or have I treated the way this GIRLS have treated me as a customer. I had a brand new SAMSUNG cooktop that didnt work. There were several attempts to fix it. The service people are rude and incompetent. 4 visits. It still doesnt work. One of the repair persons ask me to turn off the power to it and take it out! When I called the office, I was spoken to rudely and told me they didnt care what I said to anyone about their incompetence. As for Samsung, their appliances are garbage. The brand new dishwasher didnt work, but they replaced it. the washing machine vibrated so much it knocked the detergent off and it broke open all over the floor. I would NEVER by anything from Samsung. Or ANYTHING from Lakes Electronics.
I have a hard time understanding why Samsung still has this company as one of their appliance repair sub-contractors. They give you the runaround time and again, claiming the part hasnt come in yet. When they do book an appointment, they do it for the day they want and not the date Samsung originally scheduled. Not to mention the timeframe for the appointment: some girl by the name of Alejandra tells me they only give the timeframe on the day of the appointment. I took the day off from work and guess what, they never called or showed up. I called Samsung back and had them assign a different repair company. If your appliance manufacturer gives you an appointment with this company, save yourself some trouble and tell them you want a different company.

Stay away from this company. The woman that answered the phone need to be trained how to talk and respond to customers. Who ever runs this company should be ashamed of themselves for hiring such a rude person. Also the owner of this company should read all the bad reviews and really work on fixing all the bad thing people are writing on the reviews. I never leave bad reviews, it goes against my nature as I work in a service industry. In this circumstance I feel that the public should be notified ...If Samsung directs your warranty ticket to Lakes Electronics, decline and request a new company! DO NOT WASTE YOUR GOOD HEARTED ENERGY WITH PHONE CALLS TO LAKES IT WILL NOT SERVE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE UNLESS YOU LIKE VERBAL ABUSE! Talk about shotty workmanship. They seem to not care about their clients. Ive been hung up on countless times. The repair guy didnt even know what he was supposed to do when he was here. But samsung for some reason keeps their contract. The lady on the phone is exceptionally rude and talks down to you and makes you feel like youre bothering her. Extremely unimpressed.

The staff answering the phones are extremely rude. You are asked to hold when you are placed on hold before you can even say anything. I was on hold for a long time then hung up on to have to call back and be placed on hold without even explaining I was disconnected.The lady I spoke to was EXTREMELY unprofessional, gave me attitude and talked over me. I asked to speak to a manager and she put up a fight. I called back to speak to someone else and the same lady intercepted the call when I no longer wanted to speak to her as she was so rude and out of line.I have called Samsung and requested a new vendor and provided my feedback of Lakes Electronics. I asked Samsung to take a peek on the Google reviews as they are horrid.I have waited 2 weeks for this appointment to now have to cancel. Very disappointedIm shocked they still have a contract with Samsung, even more shocked that this company is even open and making money.If you can avoid I would do so at ALL COST.-A girl who just wanted to watch her new TV
I am blown away at how poor the level of service is with Lakes Electronics. They are the authorized repair company for Samsung so I am stuck using them for my warranty repairs. They have missed 3 appointments for my repair and Sway in customer service couldnt care less. They dont give you a time window so you wait all day only for nobody to call or show up for the repair. I have had to call over and over again for any updates and I am placed on hold for extended periods of time each call only to be told someone will be out. If you can avoid them, avoid Lakes Electronics at all costs.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator at Home Depot and paid for the Asurion Insurance extra coverage. HD and the insurance company as well as Samsung assigned our repair to this company. They have been not responsive, when they finally assigned a tech to come home to see the refrigerator was because we had to call HD and Samsung to complain several times. The tech that came was very professional but after promising to be back today Monday, March 8, 2021, at my house to finalize the repairs not only I got a call saying that I had cancel the appointment (not true, I never called to cancel) when I try to make them rectified their mistake and complain again they told me I should be looking for a different company. I called the tech directly, Abraham. He promised to call me back to tell me what was going on, never called me back. There has been a month with out a refrigerator.Home Depot, Samsung and Lakes Electronics suck. Will never again buy Samsung or Home Depot electronics. I hope people read this before buying or going to this so call repair company.
Still dont know whats going on with my o end repair....1st diagnostic visit was Dec 16, 2020. Things were repaired, but no, that wasnt it. Havent heard a thing from them regarding his last visit where tech said there was additional things wrong.Update: 2/9: was told theyd be out on monday. Tech never called. Still waiting for him

Dont even bother putting a ticket through Samsung, and good luck if you get it assigned to Lakes Electronics. 48 hours later, not even a call. When you call Lakes, they dont even want to help. This company has no idea what customer service is, and the impact that a broken major appliance has on a household. Called an alternate company and got services the same day.
Customer service is TERRIBLE! Technician was fine. Referred to them for a Samsung recall. Over 40 minute hold times. Customer service staff all have bad attitudes. If you would like to pull your freakin hair out while getting an appliance fixed this is your company. I strongly recommend taking your time, and business elsewhere! Side note to the owner. Call your business once in awhile and see what it is like for a customer to get connected to a rep that doesn’t keep passing the call off to another rep. Will never use your company again! Hope this helps when making a decision.
This place is so terrible. Samsung set me to them. They charged $99 to inspect my refrigerator. The guy just looked at the fridge and said I needed some new parts. After $500 the fridge stopped cooling two weeks later. Oh something else is wrong too... They act like youre bothering them when you call. These guys are shady AF. Spent $500 then just had to buy a new fridge anyway. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM LAKES ELECTRONICS.

They do not pay their employees overtime so the technician rushed through the job, couldnt finish because he was worried about not getting paid and then left my dishwasher arcing power and almost burned my house down. Thats wage theft and no different than the employee stealing out of the register plus it leaves a liability on the job site because technicians are rushed. When I called in to customer service I couldnt get ahold of anyone, took me 4 days and 16 calls, no exaggeration to finally get a rude operator and the most unprofessional customer service manager I have ever dealt with. Literally the worst. He refused to put me on with his manager and said he was the top. Well Rory when your bosses read this review I hope they put you back to the bottom where you belong in the customer service arena. I gave you a chance to rectify things but your inflated ego and pompous attitude wouldnt let you. If you are a customer and need service, call Samsung and tell them to send UbreakIFix. I did not use this company because when I called, I was told that while they do come to the home to do repairs, they do not remove a TV that is hung on the wall. They were also not able to come to my home for 5 days. I called Stranskys TV Sick, and he was at my home the following day and willing to remove the TV from the wall.

I had a 2 week old samsung TV that was supposed to be repaired. appt made through Samsung. they called and said they could not come out on scheduled day and when told i could not do on day they wanted they said i couldnt schedule next week and i had to cancel appt and recall samsung to reschedule appt.then when rescheduled for the next week they did not even show. was then told nothing could be done by samsung and had to change to another service repair company.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE AN OPTION!!!

They are so unprofessional - there were constant miscommunications and then they ordered the wrong parts - we are at a month delay and our dishwasher is still not fixed. When called to speak with a manager after being on hold for 35 minutes was told a manager was not available because they dont want to deal with their horrendous business practices. LOOK ELSEWHERE this company is AWFUL.
Samsung assigned Lake Electronics as the service center to handle a Refrigerator Repair. Samsung advised they would contact me within 24-48 hours. No one contacted me and on the third day I contacted them to find out when a technician would be available to come to my home.The technician was very professional and advised that all Parts would take 1-2business days to arrive and that he would be back on Tuesday or Wednesday to install.Wednesday morning I call the technician and am advised he does not have a work order for me. I call Lake Electronics and am told by Luz Gómez that I would need to pay $366 for some parts not being covered by Samsung. I ask why I was not previously contacted and no response was given to my question.I contact Samsung who advised they did not need those parts to perform the repair. Samsung advised Lake Electronics to perform repair with authorized parts.I call and speak with Luz Gomez and advise her I will pay the $366 but want my refrigerator fixed correctly. She asks if I verbally agree to pay which I advise yes. I ask if she needs a Credit Card and she advised to pay the technician $366 in Cash or Check on my next visit scheduled for following Wednesday.I call the technician to ask why the Evap Cover needed to be replaced if the existing one was fine when only the rail was rusted. He advised he would contact the office to change the part being ordered to lessen the cost of $366.The technician calls me back and advised that he spoke with the office and now I owed $320 plus labor making a total of $503. I ask how did we go up from $366 to $503 when Luz previously advised that the total was $366.I call Luz Gomez at Lake Electronics and ask why the difference in price being quoted now. Her response is that I have to pay $503.50 and if I verbally agree to the repair. I advise I need to speak with a manager or the owner because it is not right for someone to quote one thing and then quote a different price.I waited 35 minutes and was disconnected. I called back and waited another 20 minutes and Jose, who identified himself as the manager, answered. I advise Jose of all the issues starting with them not contacting me to make an appointment, not calling me to advise that I had a cost for certain parts, pricing me the wrong price, ordering a part I did not need, and lastly increasing the price even after verbally accepting prior price.Jose responded “what do you want me to do about it?”I replied, “Having been a manager, I expected you to respond that you apologize on behalf of your employee, that you apologize that no one ever contacted me for appointment or to advise on me having to pay for a part. That you apologize that Luz made a mistake with the pricing she initially provided me and that you are going to follow up with your employees to ensure that this experience is not repeated with me or any other customer.”Jose responded, “ I don’t want to proceed with your repair and am cancelling your service request.”Needless to say, I immediately contacted Samsung and made them aware of the terrible experience I had and they are escalating to their senior management.
Sean was extremely professional. His first visit he was able to determine what was needed. He ordered two parts and was back two days later. Samsung TV better than new. Highly recommended Sean and Lakes Electronics.
I’m giving this company one star because I have to because they don’t deserve it. A service company is represented by their employees performance, it’s a shame that the technician SANTANA be unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. I made my service appt through Samsung, Samsung sent me more than one email confirmation of my appointment date and time and Santana called me yelling at 10am that my appt said 11am, I was at work and explained to him that the appt I made was for 4pm and he screamed again that he didn’t know who sent me the email but his company never said the customer a time, they just called few hours before and he was just interested to know if I want to cancel my appt. He was rude and disrespectful all the time during our conversation. I had to insist a lot for him to give me the company info. Samsung should not subcontract a company like that.
Dont waste your time. ( days to get a tech out to the house, 10 days to get samsung parts, tech calls in sick on day of appointment, ten more days for the next appointment, then they lose the parts!!!
Dealing with Lakes Electronics is like pulling teeth. They never received my initial home depot claim. It was sent a second time for them to schedule. Their staff was extremely rude and nasty. Barbara was the scheduler that was supposed to schedule someone to come out. She hung up on me and home depot because home depot was explaining the process to me. I have never in my life experienced such unprofessionalism. I would never recommend or use them.

The most unreliable company I have ever had to work with. Waiting for over one month to get my washer repaired. Excuse after excuse. I do not recommend them. Ended purchasing a new washer.
I would request a different company to do business with. This company doesnt show they care about customers they support for Samsung appliances. Do not call within 3 business days of Samsung warranty repair ticket. Then their scheduling of service is subpar having to call three times as they called to advise part was not in but no one then reaches out with rescheduling when part does arrive. Suddenly a service technician calls and is on his way out of the blue and have to advise him we are not home. We discuss returning the next morning and he doesnt show up and no phone call/text advising we were not placed on his route. Come to find out he cannot make scheduling decisions. The lady answering phone and scheduling is rude, short, and not forthcoming to possibly accommodate a customers timeframe (morning or afternoon) request. Sad to see a 1970s company not have decency customer service & care. Samsung should be ashamed to partner up with them.

Had a warranty issue with a brand new dishwasher. Moved into new home and dishwasher seal is not sealing because of a small dent in the interior of the door. Physical damage and no proof of whom did it etc. Thus not covered under warranty or home warranty.....Had to buy a new door..this was three weeks ago. The Technician was very kind but did state the door would take a week to get in but will have it repaired right away. Three weeks later, no door but my credit card was of course charged for the door the day I ordered it. And after several calls to Lake Electronics -no resolution. They see my charge but only andrew can tell me status of the door -however he hasnt returned any calls nor been avail with my calls. As of yesterday, I have left my technician two voice mails and Andrew at least two and spoken to three different ladies. No resolution. I have emailed today and hope my plea for help ends up in the right persons hands to resolve this issue. It would be great to have a dishwasher I can use and more importantly, would be great to have resolution so that I can revise my review. So for now, my advice- dont use Lakes Electronics ....if and when this matter is resolved, I will of course update my review accordingly. I know things happen and I expect is communication. Business can prevent poor reviews if they just communicate with the customer...it is so simple. If they forgot to order my part-just say that and lets move on. Stop with the avoidance.
I was fortunate enough to read the reviews and cancel my ticket with them before they did repairs, but right off the bat the experience was unpleasant.They made an appointment with us and then cancelled it last minute. They then told us that they cannot work with stacked dryers, that we would have to do part of the labor by unstacking it ourselves.I would like to note that all labor is covered under our Samsung warranty. Samsung can get sued for breach of warranty because they hire third-party companies that refuse to honor the full warranty.They had me on hold for 20 minutes, only to have a woman rudely explain that if I had a problem with them not honoring the warranty, that I can call Samsung and ask for another company. I took her advice, and I then filed a complaint with Samsung about Lakes Electronics.
I called Samsung for a repair of a dishwasher, and they sent the repair to this company... the guy that showed up didnt had any idea of what to do, he simply pressed some buttons, make a mess in the kitchen with the water, and once my wife complained, he went to his truck to get a vacuum for the water... after that he pulled it, and he complained that the power cable was too short (the dishwasher comes out completely) and that we needed an electrician first to extend the cable, so he can check (not sure, maybe he wanted to check it in the living room with the cable on), so i asked why he didnt unplugged it, and he said he is not allowed to do it... so this people basically are coming in Samsungs name, and they cant unplug their own appliance (breaker was off)... so basically he charged the $99 and left... a waste of money and time, stay away of this company
After an hour on hold call drops and when I call back someone answers and throws me immediately on hold. Finally when I was able to book an appointment I had to wait 3 weeks only to then 2 days before the appointment be told that now they dont have a technicians for A MONTH! Dont use this company there are plenty of other appliance repair companies that would appreciate your business.

This place is unbelievable & beyond horrible. All the negative reviews below are understated. The service is non existent. Like others have said, Im shocked Samsung uses this company. I think its a sham. You cant got hold of anyone, when anyone does answer the phone, you get put on hold, transferred to others or disconnected completely. No one seems to have any answers. I cant believe they are in business. Samsung should be ashamed to use this company. Im still waiting now about a month to get our refrigerators broken ice machine fixed. Shameful.

This is the worst and most unprofessional company I’ve had to deal with in my life!!!Samsung sent them my information to check why my Built-in Microwave Combi oven stopped working in less than a year of purchase, they were suppose to call me within 48 hours to set up an appointment, needless to say they never did. I had to call them and after giving me excuses of needing a better picture of my purchase receipt ( the picture was already approved my Samsung’s agent) they finally gave me the appointment for 8 days later!!! They set up an appointment for today 1-26-21 they were suppose to call me at 9:00 am for the time slot, they never did, so I called them only to get a recording to call back during business hours 9:00-5:00 it was 9:26 am when I placed the call. Since they didn’t call me, I called Samsung directly, 15 minutes later I received a call from Lake Electronics giving me an arrival window between 3:00-4:00, the repair man showed up at 12:45 pm ( I happened to had just walked in) I showed him to the Kitchen and standing in front of the oven he informs me that he was sent to repair a stove and that he didn’t have the tools needed to repair my Built-in Microwave combi oven. I asked to to go get them and called Samsung with the complaint and they confirmed they had given the right description of my appliance to Lakes electronics.The repairman told me he had to call Lakes electronics back to see what to do. He sat in his van in my driveway doing nothing for 1/2 an hour, which gave me time to see the reviews for this company, I couldn’t believe the horror stories I read!!! I won’t let them in my house ever again! I don’t understand how SAMSUNG can use such an unprofessional company!
