I had a wonderful experience with Junior and Joe! Junior was quick to help me address my problem, and Joe took it from there. Honest and hard worker, good at what he does. I appreciate the service, and I will go back if I ever need anything done with my car!

I was a little hesitant to use Tonkin given the less than stellar reviews on Google. However, I had used them a few years ago, had a decent experience and wanted to use them again since they are a Toyota certified body repair shop. I spoke with Joe, who assured me that they would do a good job. He was true to his word. Once I scheduled my repair, Joe took care of it from there. The work was done in a timely manner, and they did a great job! I would not hesitate to use them again... although I am hoping I wont have to!

I had a great experience here, having the bumper cover of my Prius replaced. Service was quick and the new bumper looks great. Thank you!

The entire process with Ron Tonkin Collision was amazing. Easy drop off, wonderful communication (MARCIA! YOU REALLY ARE AMAZING!), and the best customer service. I lost my insurance check and Kim the cashier was so kind and comforting when I was obviously upset. Tuffy was the MVP of the night when he stayed late and contacted my insurance to get the issue resolved. Both he and Kim had to stay late, and I am so thankful. Really amazing people and it meant so much to me to be treated that way. PLUS, the car looks amazing AND they were able to get the recall on my car taken care of at Mazda. I really cannot say thanks enough!

Sure. Great if you use your insurance company. Out of pocket; 200% mark up on all products. No wonder the insurance companies dont like them. Been a loyal customer for 10 years despite my insurance company telling me to go elsewhere. Bought my last five Acuras from Ron Tonkin. No. More. I know they wont care from a single customer, but I need to say it.

I dropped my truck off on September 7th, 2017. With my insurance being part of the issue on getting repairs done. I was finally able to pickup my truck on December 7th. I have a limited edition with a decal. After examination of the decal on both sides they dont match. I have been trying to get this corrected since I picked up. I keep getting the run around with nothing getting accomplished. My insurance says its the shops issue, the shop says its an insurance issue. Ive contacted the company that put the graphic on whos says they arent liable because they were contracted for a job, and they told me they notified the shop on the decals not matching up, when the shop asked why I had to bring it to their attention that they didnt match. All I want is to get this done and over with. Ive been going around in circles for a month now. This whole ordeal has cost me a 12yr relationship, I just want to move on and be done with this. The whole reason I went to this shop was because they are the only one to include the graphic in the quote, which after said and done was almost double of the original quote. I highly do not recommend this shop if you have a special edition vehicle.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR/TRUCK to this place! My truck needed repairs after a accident and instead of going with my insurances preferable shop Ive picked Ron Tonkin since its a dealer auto shop. Wow what a big mistake I have made! Thinking my truck will come back looking brand new with OEM parts! They took over TWO months with my truck and the finished looked like it was a TWO day job they did! They had my truck sat outside in the rain for over TWO months with no hood or cover over it and now it has rust spot around the motor. The paint job is bad, the assembly they did on the fenders and bumper are bad! My truck came back with more scratches and dings before all this had happen! They didnt even bother spraying any under coating on the fender wheel wells! They blame my insurance company for taking too long but my insurance assures me its Ron Tonkins doing.January the shop manager had call me few days before my truck was going to finished off saying my water pump is leaking and if I want it repair itll be out of my pocket cost..! Are you kidding me? Long story short they end up replacing the water pump. I called Joe Smith to make sure that if they ARE replacing the water pump please replace the timing belt and all the other belts and Ill pay for the belts if its not already in the repair bill. Joe said Your whole front end is being replace with new parts including the belts so you dont have to worry about it.. Will what do you know Ive been lied to, my belts are the same old belts now lets just hope my timing belt is a new one instead of a sticker on the cover saying timing belt replace date/miles. While picking up my truck, Joe said if Im not happy with it theyll fix it. Come on after more then TWO months do you think Ill leave my truck any longer in those hands. I pick up my truck while driving home, I realize it has no AC WTH so I drove back wasted 30 more minutes sitting in the lobby while they fix their mistakes.I will NEVER go back to Ron Tonkin if I ever need any kind of repairs done and/or in the market for a new car or truck. I will take my business somewhere else.If I could give this place a ZERO star rating I would. I hope my experience here will not be yours to come. Me, my friends, and families will never go to Ron Tonkin ever again after this!

My car has been at their shop since September 6th. I scheduled it with them a month in advance of the repair work to be done, and they said it would be done by September 15th. If they were too busy to do the work I would have taken it to the other shop that had given me the quote. They were paid in advance by my insurance company. On September 16th, I called them to check status after hearing nothing from them.Instead of them calling me for approval to do extra work on their original quote, they held my car and submitted a claim to my insurance company on September 13th. My insurance company said they were surprised a follow-up claim wasnt submitted sooner.Today is September 26th. They promised my car would be ready last Friday or today. Once again, I had to call them to check status. I have yet to hear back. If I ran my accounting practice like this I wouldnt have a business. To make matters worse, in January of this year I had work done by this same shop. The work was done quickly, but my credit card was charged $700 for a rental car that I dropped off there and was promised it would be taken care of. It took me several calls and visits to get the charges reversed and that person no longer works at Ron Tonkin. They also cashed a small check after the first claim was completed that I never received credit for. I let that go at the time.I would not take my car there without a commitment in writing of the length of time of service and a firm quote up front. I do not believe this business has ethical practices.Update: I picked up my car today and paid them directly an additional $2,300 out of pocket. My insurance company and indirectly myself, was robbed. They simply do not care, and told me so.This work was for minor damage on the back rear panel and side damage on the passenger side panel. The car was completely drivable, this was cosmetic damage only. My total cost for a $600 minor rear quarter panel repair and a $3,000 side panel repair was $5,433. I was given no second estimate for the work.If I were an auto body professional, I would open a shop and compete with them directly. Seriously.

I like the Ron Tonkin Toyota Dealership and thought a dealer auto repair shop would be good. Took a long time to repair, panels had big gaps and they didnt want to fix those issues.

I hate my experience here, I had to come back 7 times after my car was fixed the first time, not to mention that these people refuse to talk to me whatsoever. The mis ordered parts, skimped out on the repair process a few times, and made me wait a month and a half without calling me, like they said they would. I have been met with disrespect and at this point hatred. Its a 2014 car, how do you make mistakes?
