So with dealers and sales reps I put reviews after I know what I really got. In this case, we bought a used Audi Q7 diesel. Gorgeous car and is everything I hoped for! Sami is a nice guy and I appreciated him giving us space to make the decision ourselves as opposed to the usual hounding from sales reps you get at dealerships.Now for the downsides: First, the paperwork was sent late to the DMV which, long story short, lead to 8 months before we got our plates and had to pay the new years additional fee because the DMV received the paperwork after the January 2021 when fees were increased. As usual, trying to get ahold of Sami was not easy and that doesnt surprise me because once youre out the door youre considered not their problem with any dealers.Second, everyones expectations of the detail in the cars from the dealers is to be top notch especially, in a pandemic but in our case, we later started to notice dog fur on the sides of the interior.Third, we asked if there was a full inspection done on the car in which Sami proudly said that he has all of his vehicles go through full inspection and thus adui is in top notch which we trusted and so we delayed on changing the oil or taking it to the Audi service sooner. Later, about 2-4 months we find out the tires were inflated over 50PSI!!! Then, I thought I was seeing things at first, but the full inspection told us the car is leaking oil (I knew it!) because the oil drain plug was damaged. There was also a recall on this specific diesel vehicle that was supposed be taken care of a long time ago. The brake fluid was long over due to be maintained. The air filter was darker than the bottom of the car. And lets just say the list was disappointing and went on when we received the report.So in conclusion, trusting sales reps, especially dealers, is still rusty and these experiences really make it worse. If you buy a used vehicle from here I suggest you definitely take some time to know/inspect the car.

March 12, 2019I recently purchased an Audi Q5 from IDrive Autohaus. I went through my bank’s car buying program, which lead me to Sami (the owner) at IDrive Autohaus. Like most of the other reviews Sami is a great guy, straight talker, no-BS, very easy going and VERY PATIENT! Buying a car can so anxiety provoking and unpleasant but Sami makes you feel very comfortable with a no pressure approach and really works with you to find the perfect car for you and at a reasonable price. I have to say that Sami kept his word at every turn during my car buying process. He simply walks you through the process, trying to make sure youve considered all aspects of buying the new car and selling the old car. He offered me a price for my trade-in sight un seen, that was within what I was going to ask for it. I could not be more pleased with the entire process.He went the extra mile and had the car looked over by Sunset Audi, had new tires put on it as well as a few extras including paying for my next service. I totally trust Sami and would recommend him to my family and friends when looking to purchase a car. Thanks again Sami!

Make sure you call them, and make an appointment, even if google map said is open they are closed. I spend one hour of my time for nothing. And they just missed another sale.

My first visit to iDrive was a positive one. It was my first time going to a car dealership by myself and Ill admit I was a little nervous due to all the stereotypes out there... I am happy to report that I was greeted by a friendly employee who was able to help me check out a couple of cars that I had looked at online. I was clear what my budget was and he didnt try to up-sell me or push me towards cars I wasnt interested in. I was impressed with his knowledge about the cars and his no-pressure approach. If you are on the market for a gently-used luxury car, I would recommend checking iDrive out!

Sami was great. I walked in to check out an uncommon Audi A3 diesel wagon on his lot. Right away I was impressed by his wealth of knowledge regarding Audi models and release years. His prices weren’t the lowest, but all his cars were in fantastic shape. The A3 was in perfect condition with only 19k miles. We hung out for a while — he’s a father, a soccer fan, has some funny stories. When all was said and done he made it very easy to finance with a credit union, got me great rates, and worked fluidly with my schedule to register the car. The extra thousand or two I spent was worth it. I’ve had the A3 now for 3 months and have had zero issues. So glad I didn’t risk an Audi nightmare on 82nd.

Great experience buying a used 08 Subaru here. Quick and no BS. By the time I called, made an appointment and received a check from my bank the car was in my hands in under 3 hours. Most of that time was at the bank doing paperwork. Super friendly staff as well.

I had the pleasure with working with Sami to buy my 2017 GMC Sierra. The awesome thing was that it was his previous personal vehicle, which I had such a feeling of relief because he owned a dealership and knew that he knew his vehicles very well. I contacted him a few days prior to me making my 6 1/2 hour trip (came from California) up to purchase the beautiful truck!! I was so excited, so trilled, and overall feeling relaxed with the process. The process was pretty simple, only some anxiety when it came to dealing with the warranty decision. Anxiety isn’t anyone’s friend, especially when you’re making a financial decision. I felt like I was being lectured for not purchasing an extended warranty because I had other reasons to decline. But once declined finally it was pretty simple. That was until I finally made my loooong journey home. I happened to see that my gas tank was empty, which is fine and wasn’t too much of a problem. My biggest problem was what I saw on the oil tag above me. The oil was supposed to be changed on SEPTEMBER 19, 2018. The mileage on the tag read that it should’ve been done within that day or at 12,598 miles... I had also 13,300 miles on it... It is July 2019... my heart dropped. Immediately I knew that I had to stop and get it changed, and I’m SO happy I did. When an oil technician says “the oil is very very VERY brown and is terribly old for the truck”, that is not what you want to hear once you buy the truck you’ve been searching for for a hot minute. I am in love with the truck, but 100% getting a full work up on it when I get home (currently still making my way home after all my troubles today!) I do thank you Sami for being wonderful, just wish I was warned about 10 month old past due oil sitting in my new beautiful truck!

I highly recommend iDrive after purchasing a well-used car from them. I drove in from out of town to purchase the vehicle and left the same day with a vehicle I’m happy with. Buying a used vehicle I didn’t expect everything to be perfect and I really appreciated that Sami actually pointed out any issues he was aware of (which were relatively minor and expected in a similar used vehicle). Sami has also been very helpful with a couple of questions I had after the sale.

My husband and I live in Seattle and had our eye on a Q5 at idriveautohaus in Portland. We called and spoke to Lynnette who was fabulous to work with. She was very friendly and personable. She made us a priority and it was more like working with a friend than a car dealer. They ran all the credit and had all of our financing ready to go by the time we drove down there so all we had to do was show up and sign. Sammy, the owner, was also super awesome to work with and made himself available to us at all times. My favorite part about working with them was that I got to work directly with the owner and his number 2 which is something you can only get if you work with a mom n pop type car dealer. Sammy and Lynnette handled every detail of our transaction personally and anytime I had to call with a question or something came up, I was able to reach them directly on their cell phone. Even 1 month later when I was getting all my plates handled in Washington state, a question came up and the dmv was able to call Sammy directly and he handled it in a matter of seconds with them. We found them to be very creative and generous when offering solutions to a couple of little things that came up at the time of purchase. Highly recommend idriveautohaus because Sammy and Lynnette are great people to work with! Oh, I absolutely love my Q5 which was my first step up into the luxury vehicle world.I will say that my husband and I were a bit skeptical at first because we had never worked with a mom n pop car dealer before and it is a bit different than going into a large commercial car dealer but that was all just part of the experience. To be honest I wouldnt even rate this place a 1 star.... when I visited this establishment last week.. I have never ever seen a more poorly ran business... the gentlemen Sami I believe is who I worked with did not have a sense or ounce of customer service in him...Couldnt let me get a single word in.... was not was not willing to work with me what so ever no matter how many times I tried to negotiate with him... All I wanted was to trade my car in for the amount I told him in exchange for buying the car I test drove that he was selling for 8,000.... he was willing to give me my asking price for my car but in exchange hed sell me the 06 grand cherokee for $1000 more than the posted asking price on that car....Im sorry but no... I was then contacted by him after I left saying he would have a potential buyer for my car.... then to say hed charge me a $200 fee for selling my car if the buyer was interested!?!?! even willing to knock of the price to 7,750 lets see here.. add the 200 to the price... youd only be knock off $50.00 off the original asking price..... NO NO NO I dont think so learn to rethink your ethics as a business owner sir!! All I wanted to do was trade my car to buy the 06 Grand Cherokee I tested... What ever you people do..... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN!!!!!! Im sorry but who the hell does this.....

After spending close to 20 years working in the auto industry, Im used to being spoiled and car deals being worked around my time. Now that I have left the industry, I find car buying to be a time consuming hassle. So, when I realized that I was in need of reliable transportation, I was not looking forward to the task. Then I found Sami. He took EXCELLENT care of my daughter and I. He got us into an amazing car (a 2009 Audi A3) for an amazing price! Ive been in the car business 17 years. I was looking for only a 05 to 09 Lexus GX470 for my wife to replace her 07 IS250. Between auctions local and online, other dealers, they are hard to find in good condition with good history. I had been looking hard for about a month when Sami posted a fresh trade in on Autotrader Saturday night. Sunday morning I drove by and could see it through the gate from about 25 feet away. I called Monday morning and talked to Sami, inquired about condition, records and interior color. Me and my wife showed up Tuesday on our day off, just a quick walk around I could tell this was a nice, honest vehicle. No crappy repaints or stories, never smoked in. I paid him his asking price which was very fair. Thanks again for the easy transaction, Ill stop in and say hi if im in the area.

My preferred mechanic(s) will be sad to see this car leave my possession as its always in their shop. Im going to a dealer I trust to get a car I can trust. I learned alot of lessons, and will not make the same mistakes again.Heres a short list:-The car has what my mechanic said Obvious and long term problems including alignment issues damaging the tires (tire damage was pointed out and diagnosed within minutes of mechanic seeing said car), and electrical problems galore including signs of rodents nibbling electrics in the past.-Owned the car for only a year next month. Undependable and plagued with constant problems from the get go. Ive been stranded many times. Roadside Assistance & AAA loves this car.-Had to replace the battery within 2 weeks of driving it off the lot. I should have known having seeing the car on a charger before test drive and final pickup. Also, no mention of reimbursement for said $200 battery.-No faith in in-house service. Was told the rough idle was due to low gas.-Car is of low quality, but high price. Extremely noticeable from recent trips to other local dealers and test driving similar vehicles.-Dents, gauges, etc., that were supposed to get fixed BEFORE purchase never did.-Shame on me for not noticing the numerous red flags and still going through with the purchase. Hence the 2 stars instead of 1. Again, thanks for the expensive lesson.

After buying Christmas trees from Sami over the last few years, I figured it was time to step up and buy a car instead.I know cars pretty well and can be a fanatic. As such, it can be obnoxious constantly buying cars from people who know little about what theyre selling. Buying from Sami couldnt be a more different experience. His knowledge and passion for the cars he sells far exceeds that of any other sales experience Ive been a part of.In the end I drove away with an 02 530i and peace of mind an confidence in the choice that I never could have found anywhere else.I look forward to driving this car for a couple years, but Im honestly already looking forward to the next car I buy from Sami and the incredibly helpful crew over at iDrive.

I have nothing but great things to say about Sami and the team at iDrive. We just bought our 2nd car from him right around Thanksgiving. The car had some issues that Sami promised to take care of prior to purchase and he went above and beyond. He has been true to his word and very helpful in dealing with a couple issues that have come up since we took the car home as well, which very few dealers are willing to do once they have your money. I can honestly say that Sami has been the most honest and transparent person I have come across in doing this and I truly enjoy buying with iDrive.

Whats not to love ? No pressure or BS, Sami is clearly, genuinely enthusiastic about cars, hell talk your ears off, and hes got some really top drawer vehicles on his lot. Saw Sami had a perfectly specd A8 at a good price but was still awaiting delivery, no problem, he kept in touch with updates and info, then let me know when it was there. Meantime, he got the financing sorted and at a better rate than the bank Ive been with since 94... ( B of #$%@ A).The car looked beautiful, but Sami was totally up front and went through the service history, issues that had been sorted, and provided all the supporting documentation, very reassuring !We took it on an enthusiastic test drive and then did all the paperwork. Quick, easy, great atmosphere, ( shout out to Lynette), and with no bollocks.Very happy indeed with my dealings, Id have no worries getting my next car from him.He also knows his single malts......

Well, where should I start? For starters, Sami Barbar of iDrive Autohaus has been a God-send! Ron and I had been diligently searching for months to find a privately owned car dealership minus the Bull----!iDrive Autohaus is the dealership! No tug-of-war with regards to warranties and price. His prices are fair and quite reasonable, so no need to haggle! :)We were getting tight with cargo space towing along 3-4 whippets in a A6 Avant and badly needed something bigger without compromising luxury and mpgs. The obvious choice was the Q7 TDI! It so happened that iDrive Autohaus had one in their inventory. We called up Sami and expressed our interest in purchasing the vehicle.The only downside was that we were in WA. Apparently, it was not an issue! Sami accommodated us by reserving the vehicle (w/o deposit) until arrangements could be made to drive down to Portland! About a week transpired before we were able to see the Q7 in-person! I was apprehensive at first. What if he decides to sell the car to someone else before our arrival? These things can and do happen all of the time at dealerships! He did tell us there were several counter offers to purchase our Q7 but he declined all of them! THANK YOU Sami Barbar for keeping your word and reserving the car for us! :) We are really enjoying the spaciousness and luxury of the Q7 TDI! Well definitely be back when the time comes for an upgrade! BTW much would you give me in-trade of my A6 3.0T? :)

I went to iDrive to look at a used Audi A6 wagon to replace my minivan. Sammi spent 1.5 hours showing me both Audi and BMW wagons in all price ranges. I left realizing that he never even asked for my phone number. After a few days of consideration, I returned to purchase the A6. Sammi showed me all the paperwork on the car and gave me a reasonable price for my trade in. I highly recommend iDrive for its transparency and care in providing value in the cars they sell. I will be returning when its time to down size to a sports car!
