Was passing through Portland and wanted to buy some of the great local craft beer there, and found Bow Street on line. Received expert help and advice to purchase a few different varieties. When I got home to NY I realized one of the 4 packs I bought had expired over 6 months earlier in late March. I called Bow Street and they handled it perfectly. Apparently a brewery had sent them a bad order and they immediately refunded my credit card for the cost. Kudos to you Bow Street for a great selection of beer, expert advice and great customer service. Anytime Im back in Portland youll see me.

Excellent selection of main craft beers as well as some other fermented beverages. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable about local beers. They also had/have a really nicely executed setup for social-distance-operation during the pandemic. That stuff takes work so congrats for that.

Excellent customer service! I called because me and my wife messed up an order through drizzly and they wouldn’t deliver it. After attempting to contact drizly with no luck in calling the right number provided by the driver, I called the store the order went through and the manager went above and beyond by contacting drizly himself and correcting the issues on the order. Top notch service.

It doesnt get much better as far as liquor stores go in Maine these guys have a super huge selection of liquor and a lot of great top-shelf selections of liquor its kind of a bummer cuz I live fairly farther went far away and RSVP which is another good liquor store on the same road and Bow Street Beverage are too far away to be my regular liquor store which is a bummer again these guys have really good selection is really worth the visit

Stopped in in a pinch for a gift for a friend. The selection was excellent and the folks helping out were even better. They were very friendly and helped EVERYONE make a selection and provided recommendations. I am not surprised they have the rating they do! Huge selection of Maine craft brews. As I was staring blankly at the vast collection one of the owners came over to help. I just recently started getting a taste for sours and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me many options to choose from, including some of his own favorites. I will most definitely be coming back.

Great selection of the standard and more obscure alcohols due to Bow Street being a distributor. They even offer many bottles in a 1L size. Also have a great refrigerated beer section and a variety of wine and mixers. They are a one stop-ship for all of you drink needs.

A specialty alcohol purveyor.Located on busy Forest Ave, this unassuming little shop contains within an impressive array of craft beer, spirits, and liquers. The staff are all friendly and the prices arent anything you wouldnt expect.They dont have quite the variety that relatively-nearby RSVP does, but almost anyone should be able to find something they want here.There is parking, which is great, but its a shared lot and its at a busy intersection which can make it hard to get in and out.Would definitely recommend.

I pulled up at 8:04 this last Saturday 3/14/2020 and they were locking the door, the guy locking the door still let me in to get my beer! Really appreciate it especially on a Saturday night! He even took time to make recommendations!

Nice place! Just visited for the first time a week or two ago.They have a massive selection, including the standards and some really interesting other kinds of booze that I’ve never had.I can’t tell how the prices compare to other spots (RSVP), but the space is clean and modern, they have a bathroom, and the selection is vast.I’ll be going again.

If you fell in love with blueberry soda, heres the place to stock up. They also have blueberry beer to bring back for friends. The staff is knowledgeable and can point you to the award winning brews and best sellers. They also have a lunch counter where you can get a fresh made sandwiches (try the seafood salad!). Prices are reasonable and store is well organized.

The wine, liquor and beer is well curated.The staff has some of the best options in all of Portland.If you havent been for any of the tastings they have you should make time for them.

PROS: This is a great place to buy a wide variety of world wide wines. The quality is above a liquor store or local grocery store selection.CONS: Bow Street Beverage does not carry much selection in the under $20 range.SUMMARY: For quality $20-$40 wines this is our favorite in the area.

Superb wine, beer, and spirits selection. The new location is tidy, organized, and beautifully renovated. The parking is great, and the lot is easy to navigate in and out of. Lastly, the staff are always extremely helpful and polite.
