Throughout the years, I have been to this location a few times. Although they may not have the lowest prices on the items I was looking for, it is nice that they are close and convenient. My partner likes that their lines are not as long as other big stores. I appreciate that their selection is not huge. If I go in looking for something like chicken wire, I am not overwhelmed by the amount of options. This makes for a quicker trip, almost a get in and get out shopping trip. Their staff is usually helpful and pleasant. I would recommend if you are wanting a quick and small trip to a hardware store.

My house is literally standing in great condition because of their help. Great selection of merchandise even fun soap & organic candles. They have so many things the older houses in the neighborhood need that Home Depot has never heard of, the staff is just wonderful. I always enjoy going there. You can ask questions, and learn things.

I dont know, maybe its because of all the homeless that they seem so wary, but I just dont get the feeling of welcome that I do when I go in to the 162nd and Division Ace. The female clerk yelled at me because I took my faceshield off to wipe my face and head and it was hot, and asking for the location of something or where to find an accessory for another item, they just dont want to help you. I dont know, maybe there arent enough employees. Ill continue to go, but unless there are some drastic changes, my reviews wont be much better. Its a conveniant location, to bad about the poor customer service.

Called this place to order a product. The woman I talked refused to order the product for me. She said I have to physically come into the store if I want to order. It was pretty obvious she was not interested in helping me. One star would be overrating for her customer service skills.

Came in on a Saturday a little before they close at 6pm and it seemed like every part of the transaction was such a burden to the representative. Old lady before me couldnt see the prices because they turn the lights off and instead of trying to help her they made her walk back and find the price again. Dude at the key kiosk seemed to at least want to help people find what they need and leave but the front desk not so much.

Always friendly service. They have just about everything you could need for around the house projects. I also get all my bird seed and suet there.

Great staff and they were very helpful! I will be back for sure. The service level is so much better than the big box Home Improvement places.

I love this store! It is packed with a wide variety of home hardware needs and the staff are super helpful. I can get in and out quicker than any other hardware store in the area, too.

I havent been to any other Ace locations, but this one is great and fun to go to. Excellent prices on spray paint, a vast variety of screws, washers, fittings, etc. You can pick out yourself so that you have exactly the number you need. Very good place for garden, home and even pet.

Nothing makes me hate a place more than calling their listed phone number and being deafened by a screeching fax tone

Good products for a reasonable price, but when I had them shipped to my house multiple items arrived damaged but still useable. I was also only given one tracking number despite my order being split up into multiple deliveries over several days, so trying to find it on fedex was impossible. Packages get stolen around here so that was very stressful. Overall, satisfied with my purchase but not happy about delivery issues.

Been a repeat customer for a while and can say the customer service is atrocious. Having full face covering I was told I wouldnt be helped because I wasnt wearing a mask. Separate incident I asked if I could look at the socket wrench sets and instead of directing me to where they were they just changed subject to taking my backpack (even though again Im a repeat customer that goes there at least once a week.) Not really an issue but then instead of directing me to the sockets service rep just said what do you want hella rude. Told him again I just wanted to browse the socket wrench sets and he just we keep them locked up. Yeah thats cool and all but where are they? I finally asked someone else and they took me to the back. I got what I needed and asked where my backpack was. Suddenly no one knows. Found it sitting right next to the exit. Literally anyone could have taken it.

They always have what I need in a pinch. Very well stocked store and plenty of cashiers to get you on your way.

Online pick up terrible. After receiving the following your order is ready email, I went to pick up this item. The store said it wasnt there yet and maybe it will be there in a few days and they would call me. Well, I never got another email/call as to when my item would actually be there. When i called a few days later, they wouldnt tell me if it was there yet. Also items are supposed tp be automatically refunded if not picked up, and mine never was even 2 months later.Show more

Grumpy staff, no return policy. Times are tough right now for everyone, but contractors need to be able to return items that arent used for projects. I want to support small and local stores, but I have to cross this one off my list.

Great place! I worked at a different Ace awhile ago and theres no replacement for a really knowledgeable, seasoned hardware store employee. This place has a really knowledgeable staff and they are very aware of their customers and wait time. I think I waited less than 5 minutes in the fastener aisle before they called someone else over to help me. Even when theyre busy I notice a lot of staff on the floor and Ive never had any problems getting help here. I must have spoken to four people at least last time I was here and every one of them was great and did more than I expected to help me out. And truth be told I was a bit of a hassle at times due to my disorganization but no one acted bothered. Super grateful to be around the corner from this place!

I was there earlier today people always nice it got a good selection of parts and a lot of other cool things for lawn and garden place has been around since I was a kid used to be Coast to Coast over there I believe first but yeah you got a chance you need something for the house stop there and take a look around I think youll be surprised what they have Ive never went in there yet and couldnt find pretty much what I need even to build linkage for dual quads for my hot rods

These guys know how to make a key.It might seem trivial, but I appreciate it when a key can be made right the first time.

Had a shut off valve leak and it was a 1947 vintage they found the right parts and took the time to look for the seals. I was not rushed away, they were very courteous and it was less than $5 including a tube of lube he recommended. There were no Union in the pipe so it would need to be cut and replaced with a Union if they didnt have the parts.I have had many other rewarding experiences with them in the past 20+ years!

I went to ACE only needing 2 things.Gloves & a key made...They had no gloves, and the key they made me, didnt work in the lock for some reason..All and all..total failure

This place exemplifies customer service. I could remember countless times Ive been there where the staff had gone way out of their way to help me. Once, I needed to replace some screws for a wheelchair and the staff went ahead and installed it in the wheelchair. When I left, I had a fully functioning wheelchair. How awesome is that. Thats only one example. They also have such a wide variety of stuff yet I dont have to search for parking and walk a far distance just to pick up one thing.

Staff was helpful. Worked my a pretty good deal on what turned out to be a piece of garbage. Detective item not their fault. Return with a receipt was no hassle.

This place is really handy if you live anywhere nearby and they have most things youre looking for. I go there all the time and everyone is nice there. Theres a few things they have that I have not found anywhere else, so whenever I need these particular parts, I go there. Im pretty happy that theyre close by my shop.

The only employee who was helpful was Dave he cut our Plexi glass gave us directions to something else we were looking for, Your cashier well no hello did we find everything no nothing just grabbed our purchases started ringing them up she yawned 3 times complaining her coffee wasnt strong enough she totally didnt acknowledge us she gave us our receipt talking to someone else on the sales floor we didnt even get a thank you, poor service I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone, Ill do a post on Facebook let all my people know you want rude or no service go to Ace off of Powell. Never again.....

Staff not very friendly. I asked for solar yard lights and the checker lady told me they did not sell them. When I turned from the counter to walk out there was a whole stand full of them right next to the counter. Plus she was was talking to a friend who was not buying anything and made me wait instead of helping me when I pointed to the solar lights. She said oh, I did not know you meant that kind. I told her I never specified what kind and infact asked if you sold any solar yard lights.

I have been shopping at this Ace Hardware store before it was an Ace (Coast to Coast Hardware in the 1980s). This is a well established hardware store staffed with employees Ive known for several decades. The store is well stocked and always has what I need when I arrive. As for lumber, they only have a few 2x4s. The knowledgeable staff gets its expertise from actual hands on experience using the products, not from reading the label seconds after being asked how something works. I find the staff very friendly, happy and know where everything is. I would recommend this store to my own parents except that they were the ones who shared it with me. hahahaha. I really love this store and small hardware stores in general.

This has been years overdue. These guys and gals have always been the most helpful people we have ever dwelt with. For those odd problems that cant be handled the regular way, they are tops! We have a little church behind the shopping center about 300 yards away and can honestly say that without these guys it would not still be standing with the odd problems of a building over 100 years old. Im 76 and they been helping use 40 years. TKS MUCH!
