We stopped here on our way to Montana from western Washington for a camping trip. This place deserves 5 stars. The gal at the counter was extremely pleasant and helpful. Answered all our questions and more and even helped us pick out a specific coffee bean to use in our french press while camping. Not only that but they ground the coffee for us and used a grind specifically for french press as well! We also got the cold brew and I had the honey whip added which is absolute perfection. Awesome place, awesome service, and the coffee tastes great. Well definitely be back. Thank you!
Although the aroma of coffee was inviting when I opened the pouch, I was a bit disappointed with the taste. I have the beans (Carmela’s brown sugar, dark chocolate, caramel) I bought this morning at Coquette bakery. (roasted 10/19/21- best by 02/12/2022)I used French press method with filtered water I boiled from my electric thermos. I poured the filtered hot water into the French press pitcher, waited six minutes before I poured into my coffee mug.I didn’t taste any of the ingredients listed in the package. No trace of dark chocolate, caramel and brown sugar at all. What’s more disappointing was the coffee arabica taste that I’m used to having every morning was missing. What my palate experienced was a bitter after taste. Is it because I got a pack that’s a year old?I’m used to Storyville’s newly/freshly roasted not longer than a week.I also use Lifeboost Coffee. Both are satisfying as coffee defined!!!Sorry to be blunt. But maybe your roasting time is too long, hence the bitter after taste.Marilu PurinoBainbridge Island, WA
Had a cup of coffee and bought a couple cookies. I had just purchased a pound of Chronic beans in Moscow on the way to Kellogg. Nice place.
Stopped in a few times and experienced great customer service with Roman, and a couple ladies working there. I recently ordered a short breve and asked that it not be too hot. The tall female barista and I laughed about the notion who likes burnt milk? She brought my drink to me, and double cupped it. As I walked out to my vehicle, I realized, even through double cupped that it was too hot. In fact, way way too hot to drink, sip, hold. I had to go to the market up the road a ways. I did some grocery shopping, didnt rush, and when I got back to my truck, the coffee was still a bit hotter than what it should be. I have enjoyed their Vitos espresso on occasion, but luckily, its available at local markets. I have a coffee bar in my kitchen with a single group commercial machine, so Im not paying only to have the barista do exactly the opposite of what I ordered. In this case, shes lucky she didnt serve someone lawsuit happy. This was scalding hot and there is no excuse for a barista working at a coffee roasters bar to show such incompetence.
Being a big coffee lover, this place has been recommended to me ever since I moved to the area. On the main drag in Post Falls, this place is a treasure for coffee aficionados.Once you step inside, you are welcome by a cozy place with warm tones, which makes at ease right away. The baristas there are highly knowledgeable - my barista explained to me very clearly what to expect for my drinks - and know how to work with their product to give you an incredible experience.I chose to go with the espresso and chose two different kinds. They both were extremely well done and the sparkling water was a good palate cleanser.Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.
Delicious coffee. I had a Guatemala blend and it was just as described with warming spices.
Smells so yummy and they have the best coffee beans or let then grind them so smooth and yummy
I only order coffee from DOMA, and I live in Colorado. I first discovered their coffee in a Whole Foods, and have tried the Chronic blend, La Bicicleta, but my absolute favorite is Carmelas. I order a two pound bag of Carmelas once or twice a month, but think I might switch to the five pound bag because its the only coffee my husband and I really drink anymore (and two pounds honestly goes too fast in my house!) I wake up excited every morning, looking forward to my mug (and a half) of Carmelas.
I havent had espresso this good in a long, long time. My friend had the Rwanda espresso (I think the drink was called a shakeretto?) and I had a cappuccino and that espresso was so perfectly dialed in we could taste every flavor of that coffee. I didnt catch the name of the person who made our drinks but it was the girl with the yellow hair. Absolutely amazing job! They really know what theyre doing there, plus its organic which makes it even better. Im definitely coming here again and recommending them to everyone I know. Awesome job Doma!
Amazing coffee! Amazingly friendly staff! I love supporting my local ☕ house
Coffee is amazing, people are amazing. Theyre always a pleasure to talk to and even when I cant make up my mind on what I want they never make me feel rushed. Also have I mentioned that their Coffee is amazing?
The best coffee in the NW! Great, professional service in a impressively clean atmosphere.
Helpful and friendly staff, who follow CDC guidelines for mitigation of COVID-19--masks required, etc. I highly appreciate their efforts to keep both their staff and customers safe. Besides their coffee is great tasting.
I love getting my coffee here, it is always really fresh and delicious.
By far one of the best coffees Ive had in my life. It was so delicious, customer service was AMAZING, and I only spent about $3 or $4. Great prices, great coffee.
DOMA exceeds all roasters in the area! The roasters perfect their craft and are really good at what they do! DOMA coffee is used at many coffee shops all over. DOMA also can supply those who are home roasters with green coffee, at a very low price. The interior is very nice and well organized. The coffee menu is suprisingly low priced! Really enjoyed talking to the people who worked there!
Shop Local! Great drinks and super fun items in the coffee lab.
The place is clearly innovative. They made me fall in love with coffee again.
Cute little shop and delicious coffee. Shout out to Katrina and Emily in the lab for being awesome and knowledgeable! Will definitely be going back!
So happy we found it, now we are hooked.
The coffee here is delicious and they have some of the strongest blends I’ve been able to find! You can’t go wrong with the Chronic blend or Virgils!
Fantastic tasting coffee. I try to only drink fair trade coffee. Doma is now my go to place. The stsff was super helpful helping me find a new blend. They asked if they could make a recommendation on choices for a sampler pack after talking to me. The choices they made were excellent. The darker roast was smooth and tasty without being overbearing. Thank you..
I’m not sure how the physical location is, but the coffee is superb! We were lucky enough to find it at a coffee shop in Kanab Utah, then again at Zion National park. We now order it online. Vito is our favorite.
Fresh roasted, good coffee. Fresh baked bread too
Amazing coffee and wonderful service!
Havent had there coffee yet, but I came in on a personal note, Im have a big family camp out this weekend and needed sacks to gunny sack our potato races, and they provided more then enough of them for my family camp out to be rememberable
Great service, amazing coffee...what more could you ask for? Oh, Howabout fresh baked Mak breads on Wednesdays?
A true delight. Come for the amazing coffee, stay for the amazing aroma or coffee brewing class. This is a truely local company, and their dedication to our community shows. Bring your own mug for slight discount (and good karma for reducing landfill waste). Excellent art, expertise, and atmosphere.
Classy place with delicious coffee. They have an environmentally conscious and friendly staff. Nice to see a company caring more about taking care of the world than growing to dominate it.
I love the coffee. I gave 4 stars because they are not open on weekends. I stopped by one Saturday to get a bag of coffee and I was so sad they were closed
I went to a coffee cupping here and was amazed at the depth of knowledge and information about coffee that they know, but are happy to discuss and teach to some of us that didnt know much at all about how coffee was grown and harvested. I loved to learn and experience some coffees from around the world.
I just got a bag of your coffee through trade coffee, carmelas roast, and my bf and his mom and I all love it, hopefully I will make it out there someday Im in nj. Amazing coffee!!
Hidden GemGorgeous espresso machines decorated just right.Would like to come back with my husband .
Wonderful people. Delicious coffee.
Best coffee ever. Love veloce and Ethiopian blends
Excellent. My family and I always stop by when heading West from Missoula and have a coffee at their Lab. The coffee is consistently tasty and the maker is super knowledgable. Also, Rebecca and Terry are some of the nicest folks around. Worth popping by and asking for a tour. :)
Great coffee, way too expensive especially when ordering online. I purchased a package of coffee and a tin of tea online and paid for shipping. The coffee seemed more expensive than in store but I figured I was mistaken. Then the package arrived and I saw a price sticker on the tea for $7, not the $10 I paid. Again, I paid for shipping so there was no reason to be charged nearly 50% more for the same product. Im about to move out east from Idaho which is why I wanted to try the shipping process first. I would have gladly paid to have it shipped regularly across the country, but the fact that this company is up-charging for online orders on top of asking the customer to pay for shipping...well Im afraid, Doma, that youve lost a lifelong customer. Looks like Ill be ordering from Cafe DArte instead, at least theyre honest.
Top notch coffee. Marcos is my favorite right now. I cant wait to try more
Best roaster/coffee in town. Do yourself a favor and buy a burr grinder and learn to make your own coffee with beans from Doma!
Very relaxing environment. My boyfriend is a very picky coffee drinker and after I took him here, he said the latte was the best he’s ever had. The masala chai tea is phenomenal, definitely recommend!
Went here to get 2 cups of coffee togo. Both taste really good and the total is around 5 dollars or so. Price is reasonable with quality coffee. Highly recommend!
If you are in Kootenai County and love coffee this is a must-stop location. Being the most prominent local roaster expect educated baristas and roasters to make you the finest cup of coffee in the area. Also, it doesnt get any fresher than this! Also, the cafe offers the best selection of manual brewing equipment Ive seen this side of Seattle.
Great coffee and amazing customer service.
Go here for a simple, high-quality cup of coffee. This is not a weekend quick stop for froofy drinks and a pedestrian pastry. It is a fantastic roasting company with a small storefront that includes a coffee lab.
Was looking for chemex filters, the only smaller store came up was this one. Not easily found, smells wonderful, nice people. Did not have what I needed.
Awesome coffee shop! Perhaps one of the top in the area. Awesome decor and environment at the Lab, super friendly and welcoming staff, and great coffee. Got the Summer Lovin on a Kalita and it was wonderful. Definitely recommend this place.
Great little roaster with very friendly people and great coffee
Really great products and extremely wonderful help from the staff. This is where I will be buying my coffee from now on.
Great, fresh awesome coffee...as it should be. If you love COFFEE, youll appreciate that the coffee is the star of the show...not all the add-ons. Friendly service, too. Highly recommend.
Mighty good coffee but youll pay big $$$. You get what you pay for. Coffee snobs will love it. If your okay with most coffee, pass.
Won’t be back, employees are too politically driven, not willing to listen to another view.I will go elsewhere for sure!
Awesome coffee and quality company!
NO BETTER PLASE TO GET YOUR COFFEE BEANS..BTW THERE cappuccino is the best in town! Stop in you wont be disappointed
Super friendly staff, great coffee and location is quiet and close to my work.
