Great hardware store. There are always associates on the floor to help you find what you need. Great customer service, unlike the big box stores where their associates, if you can find one, are far from helpful.

To value is a local gem for the Prescott area. The carry a good supply of items meaning faucets fixtures stuff to this truly unique to this area. The employees are extremely helpful it is also a dog friendly shop. Have always had a great experience here my go to place for the weekends for oddball stuff.

I don’t know how they do it but True Value seems to always have what I’m looking for. The staff is knowledgeable and they are staffed such that you can always find someone to help you. They are also very friendly and courteous. I would recommend them for your hardware needs.

Never will I go to true value again in my life. The system in the hardware dept where you have to stand there and tell some exhausted dude your problem is absolutely infuriating. Leads to miserable employees and miserable customers. This system is far more dangerous for catching covid than just walking in the empty aisle and finding what I needed myself.

If you need service do not go to the store people are rude and not very bright. The only people that are good are the floor managers, except Sheery, shes a know it all and argumentative......everybody else must be on a mental vacation.

Huge selection of gift ideas, outdoor/indoor home decor including outdoor art (paintings), some unique wall hanging ceramic plant pots and beautiful wood and glass small plant containers. They offer some outdoor furniture, cool double glider chair with a small side table on each end, fire pits, etc. You can find just about everything in way of hardwares. Its an interesting place to wander around in, Theres so much to see here!👍👍👍👍

I went here because I didnt want to drive out to home depot.The staff was friendly and VERY helpful like always.I had to return what I got because it didnt work for my application but that wasnt their fault.We were satisfied with the results.We recommend this place. You will pay more but sometimes its worth it.

Theyre well-stocked and have plenty of service help. Theyd get five stars accepting that at the beginning of the they said you had to wear masks to come in the store and then they were selling masks for $25. That was a bit opportunistic for me.

Dont tell people to have patience with your employees, and then have none with the customers. Im sorry that the ONE screw I need for a special project Im doing is such an inconvenience because I dont know the thread pitch or length I need. Thats why its a special project.The only good thing I have to say is that I didnt have to wait long to be treated with contempt.

Very disappointed, came in here to purchase a Weber grill and left without anyone even acknowledging me. While looking at them there was an employee answering a grill question for another customer. When she left the young guy looked at me as I was walking towards him and he went the other way. I waited around another 10 minutes looking for help and was told someone would be over. 15 more minutes no one came. So I took my $900 to Home Depot!!

Went to true value looking for bolts found out they closed the bolts section to the public. Its now employees only. Waited around a while for help there was none to be had so I just left. for the life of me I cant figure out why the rest of the store is still open to the public literally every other aisle .but the bolts aisle is closed for social distancing.its bad enough their prices are higher than everyone else. I wont shop here again

My experience has been awesome! Both times Ive been the workers are very knowledgeable and not only that but supportive and helpful. They ask questions about what I need and were even aware of the different attachments and such that I was going to need to complete my project. Not only that but the store is filled with so many things to look at and shop around. Prices are high and low just depending on what you need. But as far as I know they arent to steep for being a small hardware store. Overall my experience and expectations were met with the customer service as well as product value and choices. Will go back for any odds and ends Im looking for and will recommend. Oh by the pay Theres a nice big parking lot to park and not crowded or stuffed in. Hope this helps.

Good store but they had no vermiculite as far as I could tell . I asked a old cat. He said if you dont see it over there then we dont have it . So they dont have vermiculite. But otherwise a great store with popcorn on Saturday.

Good, relatively new old-fashioned hardware store. Lots of stuff in almost every department with folks who can help and know what theyre talking about. Perhaps pricier than the big box stores but with much more coverage of items with real help!

Old school hardware store. In town location, may be a few dollars more here and there, but saves a trip to a big name cooperate store, halfway to PV. If you dont support the little guy, you wont have the option. They have nuts n bolts, paint, plumbing, power tools, lighting, random tools, home decor, weed eaters and lawn mowers. Pretty much everything a hardware store should have and more. I like the unique selection of sodas. Also the cast iron selection is amazing. Friendly service rounds out the experience, and the have a rewards program. $5 gift coupon on your birthday!

True Value is always my first stop for hardware for my business. I love them, they are so helpful! Such a unique store with wonderful kitchen and housewares, and full service hardware. Their outdoor shop is cute too! Im here at least once a week ;-) Love TV. Support local!

In addition to my own awful experience the other reviews would suggest this store has a consistent problem with customer service.I was asked by 5 different employees if I needed anything and had the impression they were following me. Im guessing this store sees a lot of thieves?I personally called the manager after having a problem upfront and was written off. This is what got me. Even if nothing could be done the indifferent attitude toward my situation which was caused by HIS employees was infuriating. Please at least pretend to care...Also, Why is their rental section located in an old gas station next door?They couldnt give me a price on a rental because of this...They need some younger people at this store and need to replace the ancient indifferent store manager.It would have been very easy to fix my situation if they wanted to, but clearly they cant be bothered.

Needed a special white light for my dart board, I looked 3 times couldnt find it a guy popped up and asked can I help you find something. I said yes a couple of minutes found 3 on the self and ordered 3 great experience

They have a good selection and there is always someone asking you if you need help. The advice is usually good. They cant match on-line prices but you can get what you need now.

I love this store! Best customer service, knowledgeable and respectful advice for all my home remodel projects, and all the tools and supplies I need. Great prices, and a wide variety of products. Sue helped me order a piece for my shower that the big plumbing supply in town had told me was impossible to find. Looking for just the right bolt or hardware? Ray will lead you right to it. Plumbing advice? Yep. Yard and gardening equipment? Brian is there to help. BBQ Grill gas and valves? Yep. Unique Housewares? Yep. This True Value is the very best!

Kitchen wares are nice, but Im really turned off by customers who think its okay to bring their dogs into the store. Wish people would leave Rover and Fido at home so others could enjoy their shopping.

I came in needing two different things and by myself would have taken about 20 to 30 minutes to find them but was in and out with exactly what I needed in 5 minutes! I was in a hurry that day so their customer service was so impressive to me. Thew blew me away!
