The techs and the job they did were fine and I have no complaints at all in that regard. If youre going to require customers and employees to wear a mask, make sure your employees have the integrity to wear the mask they make paying customers wear, you know, those of us that pay your salary.

Had an appointment there for 08/10/2021 for my windshield to be replaced. Arrived there and waited 30 minutes for them to tell me they cant replace my windshield because it requires OEM glass. I was told I would be contacted by a manager come Monday once order for glass is approved. Called Wednesday 08/14 because I never received a call from manager. They said manager would call by the end of business day or the next day (08/15). It is 08/15 and have no received a call.EDIT (As of 08/24): Have not received a call from manager yet. Staff I talked on on phone stated he would get the work order to the manager so he can contact me directly. All Star Auto Glass is getting my business they were quick to service me and get me back on the road.

The experience and technicians were stellar! I had two huge cracks from rocks that split my windshield. They were quick on check-in, took less time than estimated and messaged me when finished. They cleaned up my car and replaced my good to go sticker on the windshield. The technician even came out and explained a few things and I was on my way with my car looking good. Thanks Safelite, I can see again!

(11/4/20):I had a scheduled appointment to replace my windshield yesterday. I had a crack that stretched from one end to the other. I arrived at 9 am exactly. The guy at the front desk said it would take about 2 hours, so I waited in the lobby. I received progress updates through text messages which was cool. Thankfully, it only took an hour. At check out he asked if I wanted to add new beam wipers. Glad I did because now rain wipes away instead of smearing. I will also like to add I was concerned about my parking pass stickers getting thrown out. But they actually moved them to my new window in the exact spot they were before.Thank you guys for making my first (hopefully last) window replacement experience great. As I was walking to my car the person who worked on my windows yells Have a great day! That oddly put me in a good mood at 10 am in the morning.

Tried calling 3 x to talk to someone using different methods, without success. Kept referring me to there website to schedule an appointment. I finally went to the website and the calendar showed they were booked till next year.

Awesome service. They got a little sealant on an inside panel, no biggie, but they replaced it. Part was in like 2 days later. I showed up and even though they were busy dude came right out, cleaned up my windshield and replaced the panel. Nice folks.

My technician was very communicative and I am pleased with the text updates. I was in and out in an hour so very satisfied with my service.

I had a rock chip waiting for a repair for over month (my fault, havent had time to schedule it earlier), and as it turned out, glass got some discoloration, dirt and water got inside, and staff member explained its almost impossible to make it invisible after fix. They did their best to at least fill the chip with resin, and didnt charge me for this service. Advised for possible future chips: DONT WAIT and try to fix it immediately; cover chip with something to prevent it from getting water and dirt in it, especially if you park your vehicle outside.

Windshield Wiper Replacement (Both Front & Rear) ~ Good price, fast installation, the front desk lady (I believe her name was Shana) was extremely helpful and very sweet.

I had used them on my jeep previously so I knew it would be a good job. But they were done in an hour. I was very happy. They 2 workers behind the desk were very friendly and polite. There was free pods coffee. Thank you I hadnt had my coffee yet that day. It was a great experience.On a side note, I would have had this windshield on my Honda fixed a year ago, we waited hours for the guy to show up...he canceled after saying he was going to be late....and us waiting hours longer. It was like 3 hour windows. Make an appointment and go to the shop...them coming to you is BS.

Amazing customer service! Shana was super helpful and patient with my windshield insurance claim. She followed up with the insurance company to help me keep my scheduled appointment without even asking. When I got the car back, it was all vacuumed and clean. Shana shared the do’s and don’ts while the adhesive cured and I was off.

They did a great job, were highly professional and fast. I am so happy I went there to get my windshield replaced! They people in the office were friendly & the tech even vacuumed the car 🌻

Someone helped themselves to a few of my possessions by way of the passenger window. I was able to make an appointment right away and this location replaced the window and gasket faster than I initially imagined possible.I believe a location is only as good as their technicians and these guys did an outstanding job. The location is easy to get to and the techs do great work. If someone decides they need my stuff more than I do, I’ll make sure to return and give this location my business in the future.

They wont answer their phone. Had a Windshield Replacement appointment and called to speak with someone. Over 30 minutes on hold then gave up. Cancelled and moved appointment to Auburn location who gladly answer their calls.

The wonderful crew at Safelite (Renton) initially repaired a deep and nasty chip in my windshield. With the onset of freezing temps, and the turning on and off of the defroster, the chip developed into a crack right across the drivers viewing area. I went back to Safelite (Renton) and had my windshield replaced, no issues no fuss. The crew and office staff were courteous, professional, and all around pleasant to work with (especially the office staff!). I would definitely come back if ever I have any future windshield issues with any of my vehicles. Safelite (Renton), YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

Dropped my car off for a scheduled windshield replacement at opening. Came back at closing to find they hadnt even touched it. Front desk staff was far more interested in watching Chopped on the lounge TV than helping. The parking lot is absolutely littered with glass shards.

I was very impressed with Safelites work on my classic car. I was worried that its fragile, old-style window attachment hardware would present a challenge to the technicians, but they did a perfect job of installing a new windshield without damaging anything. Well done!

I had a great experience, but others in store not so much. It was easy to setup appointment online through insurance and service was quick and very well done. Cant say why others had such a problem. Possibly Safelight, possibly whomever there insurance provider was?

The technician who repaired my side window was great. He had done the job quick, and was very attentive to my questions. I was happy with that part of my service.I had experienced just the opposite with the office staff. When I first showed up for my appointment, the lady at the front desk quoted me a price just a few dollars shy of my insurance deductible. This was well over twice what the insurance Representative for Safelite quoted me on the phone. When I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk, she seemed a little agitated, but she was able to reduce the cost somewhat. Although she really didnt give a good explanation on how or why it was reduced. But it was still much more than what I was quoted originally. Unfortunately I needed the window repaired, so I didnt pursue it further.Aside from that, the shop and immediate parking lot were covered in trash from a nearby dumpster. No one appeared to be actively cleaning or concerned about that. Gave the overall shop front a really seedy appearance.I unfortunate cannot recommend this location for others, and will likely not be returning.

Very pleasant experience. They replaced my windshield fast and their waiting area was clean and had snacks free!

Found out a few months later that they broke the speaker cover when replacing my rear window. All the plastic snaps that hold the cover in place were broken off and they had just stuck it back on so I wouldnt see until it fell off on its own. Be sure to check everything you think they may have had to remove.

I had two rock chips, photos attached, and Safelite did a terrific job of getting them to be barely visible in about 20 minutes. Courteous staff and fair pricing as well.

Was told to drop car off early which I did (8am). I was told car should be ready by 2. Definitely will be ready by 5Never received any updates or phone calls. It’s 5 and car still isn’t ready. Why did I drop it off if you didn’t touch it til after 1?No one smiles here. Employees seem less than happy. I won’t use this company again.

Closest place to me after I picked up a rock chip so I stopped immediately to get it fixed, got a price of 168 to fix it and I was told that was the going rate so I said go for it. Kinda ate at me while I was waiting so I called three other local shops and they only wanted $50 plus tax!! Told the guy what other shops were charging and he didnt care thats what they charged he said.. do yourself a favor and shop around local shops can do it cheaper and probably do a better job.. At least they vacuumed my car out I guess 🙄

Worst experience weve ever had replacing a windshield! If you have all the time in the world to spare then go here. If you dont care that they get black caulking all over YOUR BRAND NEW CAR then go here. I had an appointment scheduled at 8:00 a.m. and was told when I dropped the car off by Shane, the manager, it would take 2 hours for them to put the windshield in. My husband took the morning off of work and I rescheduled patients for the early afternoon. We went back to pick up the car a little after 10:00 and they hadnt even started on it. When I went inside to ask what was going on, Shane informed me that the windshield hadnt arrived with the a.m shipment and that they just got it so if would be another 2 hours. I asked why they wouldnt have checked the shipment and called to ask if I would like to reschedule or if I could come in later. He said he ASSUMED it was there. Unbelievable. Then when he realized it wasnt, do you think they bothered to call and let me know? Whats even worse is the black caulking that is almost impossible to get off of the paint. It cant be cleaned off, scrubbed or scraped off, you have to have an OIL REMOVER to get it off. Black caulking/grease on brand new red paint, lovely. The whole experience was horrendous!

These guys are fast and friendly. I called the day before. Not only were they ready and on time, they had me out ahead of schedule.This shop is hard to see and get too. Google maps does a poor job of showing where they really are. Onsite manager was rude and treated my wife poorly, wouldnt let us speak with quality control person when we had issues with their install and said thats just how it is. Corporate doesnt communicate well with branch offices and was just frustrated whole thing. Counter person was very friendly and helpful and apologetic, so its a very mixed environment there.

I received a reasonable quote by phone and set the appointment at that time, when I arrived for my apt. a different price was presented.. I simply stated the difference and a new price was generated. A GREAT price.. The entire replacement took 50 minutes, my car was clean, the windshield perfect; and I am a very satisfied customer.. Renton Safelite, you have great customer service skills.. Experience was amazing. Driving on highway rock high glass so I started a claim once I got home. Was directed to safelite autoglass who ordered my windshield informed me of wait time and appointment date. Arrived quote time was 3 to 4 hours they got it done in 2 hours. Windshield looked nice and hasnt had any problems. Had it installed 2 weeks ago.

If I could give 0 I would. Schedule a simple window replacement on my fiances birthday for the morning. And they call me letting me know my technician is on the way. I wait 30 minutes and then get a text saying my technician is going to leave if I dont respond to his phone call. Immidaitly go outside and there was no one there. I call for assistance and they told me he called and was waiting even though he clearly wasnt. Explained this and they said they will send a technician out in the evening. I call again closer to 3 and they said they are still sending someone rhoa evening. Call at 4 and same thing they said they will being someone at 5. I call at 5:00 and then their phone number says that there office is closed. Clearly they do not care about their customers.

Way over priced. In Renton wa. 174 dollars to repair a small Rock Chip. This is what is wrong 😡 trying to cuage people.

Over priced. Just getting a quote is a hassle. You’d think it would be cheaper since they have robots answering phones instead of humans. Nothing about this company is easy or cheap. Low quality service too. Don’t write many bad reviews but this one is much deserving.

Refused to fix a small chip in the middle of my windshield. There was also a large crack near the bottom that had been there for years and wasnt a problem since most of it was obscured by the wiper blades and it didnt affevt my line of site, but they said due to that they had to replace the whole windshield or do nothing. Not pleased.

I was really amazed at how the nearly dime size UFO shaped chip was filled in and practically gone. The optics are normal! The only thing that remains now is a barely noticeable dot smaller than a pin head! The UFO shaped chip was almost in my line of site, so while I was driving, I always felt a UFO was keeping up with me. Now that the UFO is gone, I dont have to worry about getting abducted! There was some barely noticeable repair residue about an 1/2 inch above and below the chip, but I took care of it with a cotton swab of acetone. The residue was noticed only when it rained - the water would not bead up on it. Now since its removed, all is well. They started on the repair on time and got it done in time as stated

Jerry came out to my house and fixed a small crack in my windshield. He was super knowledgeable and got the crack nearly invisible! Awesome and friendly dude.This is my 2nd time using safelite. 1st was a complete windshield replacement. Ive had a good experience every time.

After hitting a pothole on I-5, my passenger side window fell down inside my door. I stopped at Safelite (without an appointment) and their service reps were very courteous and helpful in providing a temporary solution to my problem. If I wasnt on a timeline that day and from out of town, I would have utilized this shop to perform the permanent repairs. However, as a result of their exceptional service, I will be seeking the nearest Safelite in my own neighborhood for future repairs. Thank you!

What a headache. I ordered 3 windshields first appointment you guys came with 3 different windshields when two of the vehicles were the EXACT same freaking windshield. you guys came back again with two different ones and had to come back for a 3rd time because of your behind the computer mistakes.... never again will i ever order for my companys vehicles or even my personal one from Satelite. all you guys could do for us is 50 bucks off which your company should have ate at least half the cost. If my office or another company were to make a mistake like this multiple times, we would have ate the cost. the techs were awesome that is about it...

Im torn because the guys and gals doing install here are really friendly and do top notch quality work. However, the guys out working in the shop are friendlier than the folks in the office which I think is weird because usually you want the front staff to be inviting and friendly, not the other way around.When I arrived for my appointment at 10am they didnt notice that my glass didnt arrive in their 9am morning shipment. It took 45 minutes to get an answer on where it was and then I was asked what time I go to work. At first they said they can guarantee its done between 3pm and 5pm if I wanted to wait, which of course I did not want to. I already wasted an hour at this point and now I was being offered to wait six to seven hours?! Barf.Im not saying the office staff is unfriendly per say but they definitely do not make any effort to make up for their mistake except a thanks for your patience and here is a complimentary bottle of window cleaner. Time is money and I had to arrange a ride to work and then back to Safelite mid shift. The 3 hours they wasted of my day should have at the very least resulted in a decent discount. I wonder what they charge for labor an hour.

Aside from the pain of having to deal with a car break-in, the process of getting the window replaced with Safelight was relatively painless. The customer service I received on the phone was very personable and the representative was very understanding and patient with me (long story short, I had some moments of indecisiveness on the call). My service appointment was at 10am, but I took it in about forty minutes early. Amazingly they called me at 10:15 and the car was ready to go, glass vacuumed up and no fuss grabbing my keys and driving away.

Woke up this morning to a broken window from someone breaking into my truck at a hotel near by. I called every place I could find and could not get any help this week. Found Safelite and drove there since I was so close. Not only were they able to get a window on a delivery truck coming that way, squeeze my in, and fix the window (was pouring rain), but were very accommodating and sincere on getting me the best price. Both the office personel and shop personel were awesome. Thanks guys.

Cant complain about the glass repair. Pretty much everything you can ask for. Waited a little bit longer than I expected, but overall, was a solid experience.

These guys seem to know what theyre doing but there is an unprofessional vibe within the office. I was standing in front of two employees alone in the office for a couple minutes before being greeted. Like I said, they seem competent, but I dont know if Ill be returning.

Had passenger window replaced after break in. Now, every time I open the window there is a cracking and scraping noise. Also, when I listen to music there is a very annoying rattling. They obviously didnt even come close to getting the glass out. When I took it back (at a different location hopping to get better service) they literally opened the window in front of me hearing the cracking sound and told me nothing was wrong. I will have to go to a different shop to get the work done right. Horrible.

Fixed my window, same day I made claim, came to my house, was there maybe 20 minutes, very quick and polite, even showed me how to install my windshield wipers, I had bought elsewhere, which I couldnt figure out how to take off...would recommend any day

Was supposed to be getting a new windshield installed but driver left after 5 minutes because he could not find my home. The driver also stated that the person he was speaking to could not speak English which was not true as he understood very well what they told him. Seems like he took a personal approach to the situation. Never again with Safelite due to being very unprofessional.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Paid over 898 cash for new back sliding window in truck. They installed it wrong and had sealants all over my white paint truck and the window broke 3 days after install. They refused to warranty the work and wanted me to pay for a new window.

A ongoing saga of mistakes in having a window replaced. Part arrived broken, then the wrong part. 3 weeks later and still waiting...

Cannot get an appointment

Very fast, affordable and the customer service is unmatched. From the moment you call, the agent plans the entire repair, provides directions, fund the right location and order parts.

I called Safelite to make an appointment for my drivers side window to be replaced and they scheduled me for a time four days later. Two days after that, they called me and told me they were cancelling my appointment because they could not get the glass piece because it had been discontinued. It was frustrating that they even scheduled me without knowing if they could help me or not and wasted my time thinking I was going to be helped. They had no other suggestions for helping me further. I was pretty disappointed with the service overall.
