The person we worked with, Chris Peel, is a true professional in the good, old-fashioned sense. He is honest, an expert and goes out of his way to be helpful.Chris compared a number of samples with our home decor and shared with us his artistic eye. Additionally, he set us up with a superb contractor, ASAP, a team of very experienced workers, who were very impressive with their skill, work ethic and dedication.Five stars! Our master bed and bath renovation started on a whim and we jumped in without knowing what current products are out there and what would be the best choice for flooring. I started my research with a call to Standard, and met with Chris Peel who was knowlegable, easy to talk with, and never pushy. I didnt go with Chris and Standard at first, because I always shop around. Armed with the knowledge from Chris, I searched online and in town and I quickly realized that making a choice on flooring is tough!! There are so many options and things to consider! The day of decision came and I went back where it all started, to Chris Peel at Standard Paint & Flooring. He ordered what we wanted, and delivered it to us himself. His product, down to earth nature, and knowledge brought us back and we are really happy with our choice!

There are a lot of Flooring places in town, but don’t waste your time like I did. Went to 4 places, all had sales people who either hated their jobs or hated me, couldn’t tell, maybe both.I told myself I would go to one last place and I met with Chris Peel. Not only was the pricing much better, but it was so nice talking to someone who actually knew what he was talking about and was excited about flooring.I can’t recommend standard enough. I’m sure there are other great guys that work at Standard, but if Chris Peel is available he is great. Strongly recommend

Before I came in to standard flooring, I checked reviews and saw that Chris Peel had a lot of great reviews and I thought he was probably the only one that worked there. Well as it turns out, I never met Chris Peel any of the times I came in there ...but I did meet some amazing other employees.I came for paint and their paint (Benjamin Moore) cost the same as the Benjamin Moore paint at Ace Hardware, however their service is excellent and they took so much time with me I purchased it there even though I had to drive farther and couldnt use a coupon.I strongly believe in supporting our small businesses locally ...especially now...and I firmly believe that if Im going to take up someones time and knowledge ...then I very well should expect that its a no brainer to purchase my products from them as well, ...even if it does cost a little bit more money, (but so far it hasnt)I loved The excellent and superb customer service from every employee who I worked with there during the time I was making decisions as to what I was going to do with my bedroom. .I was given excellent advice from three different people there and they all work together which highly impressed me!By the time I got done deciding, the product I chose ended up being excellent and exactly what I wanted!Eventually, Im going to have done the floors and I am sure Ill have them do the floors for me.I will come back there, because they werent pushy and they did not discredit any other product or any other company from anywhere else trying to sell their product ...which also impressed me!Benjamin Moore paint is worth every dime. I bought the satin grade regal in the first light color which is a 2020 color of the year, and I am very very pleased with it. I am using it in a small bedroom and it looks just beautiful! A beautiful light pink!!If you have taken the time to read this far, let me challenge you to put your business into great small businesses that need your support, particularly if they give you the service you need. If they do not, then dont waste your time there ...anymore than anywhere else.Please do not go into small businesses that give you excellent service and waste up their time and get all the information that you can from them by utilizing their items and then walk out and go online or somewhere else...to buy the products you learned about from them... for just a little bit cheaper than you could otherwise. Small business are driven to close when you do this!Did you ever wonder why we have no camera shops in the Tri-Cities or almost anywhere else anymore?I worked at a photographic equipment company and we did not sell cameras....however, I used to get calls all the time from people complaining because there are no camera shops and asked me why we didnt sell cameras and why they couldnt come check out our equipment there ...I continuously told them that...there are no cameras shops left that are open anymore....because....people want to just come in and look and try products out and learn about them and decide which one they want and everything else from the shop giving them excellent service, but then they would leave and they dont come back to buy....Instead, they go online and purchase what they want thete....and then they wonder why there are no cameras shops left in town.....Go figure!This is the same as anywhere else... with anything else ! Be loyal to your businesses...especially when the service is good ...or be willing to do without when they all close!This is an excellent company and they deserve to get your business!I will go back there time and time again to get the help and products that I need for my remodeling and I will encourage all of my family and friends to do the same!Try this company out ...especially now...if youre doing remodeling during the pandemic at this time and pass the word along please! You will not be sorry🤗🌈🌺

Chris was awesome to work with, went in ordered my flooring on a Monday morning, we got my LVP ordered that day he then called me 2 hours later and said it would be in the next day. Thats a 24 hour turn around, which is unheard of! Highly recommend Chris at Standard.

Oh my gosh....This store is amazing! The product quality and selection are almost as good as the knowledge and friendly service that I received from Chris Peel. Now, all I need to do is make up my mind and well be good to go!
