Hours listed wrong on fredmeyer.com, made for a miserable shopping experience where I was not able to complete my shopping. At the front, I was forced to use self-checkout for more items than fit at the station so I had to put my groceries on the disgusting floor while I scanned because it was the only space. I couldnt believe the lack of understanding from multiple employees on why a customer was unaware that the hours LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE were incorrect and not allow any accommodation such as still having a cashier scan the items. Even on their best days there are never enough registers open.

Self checkout is closed a lot more often here in my experience. The rest of the store is fine, thanks.

This store is amazing!!!! If you like fresh, organic, or food on the far heathy side. Dont expect regular brands of pizza and ice cream and other such stuff. Thats not healthy enough for a store like this. Their bagged salad selection is amazing!!! I make a special trip here just for their salad flavors.

Terrific grocery shopping experience. Well organized. Very friendly staff. Healthy and fresh produce. Clean. Not a good selection of grass fed meats tho. In fact, very, very disappointing from a store so full of organics.

Of the two Fred Meyers in the Tri Cities we seem to favor this one. They are just a great overall place to shop. They feature extra natural food choices on their grocery area compared to other food stores.

I used to really like this place, its definitely gone down hill over the years. Wait 20 minutes in electronics to get some to open the cage for a $30 item and walked to CS to get checked out then stand in another line to get alcohol in the liquor department. Terrible process!

Saturday shopping in Richland location at 3 pm. Unfortunately they have only very few registers open. The check out takes awefully long time since the lady does not know any code for the vegetables and looking up takes extra time. I am the third one in the row and it takes forever for she finishes a transaction. I dont know how come shopping here has become such a dragged chore. It was not I expected.

I was able to find what I was looking for quickly and easily. The staff, although not needed, were helpful and friendly. I was able to buy what I wanted at the sale price too, even though at first it rang up as more expensive. The person working was able to confirm the advertised price and adjust what I had to pay without much ado. Ill definitely be there again.

Due to the helpful negative review by another customer, I felt comfortable going to this location without a mask. I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing one. Ive never worn a mask before, I live in Arizona where its not a problem and I feared unfair, prejudicial backlash by irate liberals in WA as a result of my condition. 5 stars for this store respecting its customers personal health and respecting ME when I walked in. I absolutely loved visiting from out of town. Shelves were stocked. Associates were friendly. Will definitely come here again when I visit next time! Thank you Kroger for not bowing to the very few, very opinionated people who think you should prohibit people with disabilities and medical conditions in your store.

We have shopped the Richland Fred meyer for over 30 years. Mostly nice employees. We shop here for the sales mostly. They really need more help in the pharmacy. I have to leave when there is a long line and only one cashier. I love that most of the pharmacy workers know me.

I don’t feel safe shopping at the Richland location any more. They have been our go-to for the last couple years, but over the course of the pandemic the mask enforcement has been inconsistent at best, and tonight was the last straw for me. We intentionally wait until 10pm to shop so there will be less people so you would think it would be ok, but no. There were several employees not wearing masks, including employees handling produce and meat with their masks pulled down, multiple other employees wearing neck gaiters which do not filter hardly at all. There were also several customers roaming without masks, a couple of whom were geared up and looked ready to shoot the place up if questioned about their lack of masks, making pleasant conversation with some of the unmasked employees.. It is ironic that all this occurred when there is a sign claiming masks are required and a message playing on the overhead, but employees are blatantly not following their own rules and customers are not challenged for their behavior. I did not feel safe doing something as essential as shopping for groceries and can no longer go there.

I ordered cake and cupcakes for my daughters birthdays both are the same day come to pick them up and they are completely wrong and wrong colors I asked the girl and she said she didnt know even though on my order for it says very specifically what I wanted and the other ladies should have communicated it and if she wasnt sure my phone number was located on the paper its completely unacceptable when my daughters had picked out something very special they wanted and now day of the party and theres nothing I can do about it Im so upset Ive been using the bakery for years and I will never go back and not to mention Im still being charged full damn price!

The store is always clean.

Entirely disappointed in their lack of mask enforcement, I just left after seeing 3 people within 10 minutes not wearing a mask or being confronted by store employees. You wonder why Covid numbers are spiking and everything is shut down, its not just anti-maskers, but the sheer indifference of people who are supposed to be held accountable.

Love this store. You can find just about everything you need here. The fruit and vegetables, especially their avocados are always good. I wish their jewelry store would reopen - closed because of covid19 rules. The sushi is pretty darn good for a grocery store!

It is exciting to get in such a big store... you can find anything that you might need. A lot of options that come at higher prices. It has a quiet atmosphere... no background music and unfortunately we got a rude man as cashier- he was grabbing all items like if he was mad and he barely great us. I hope they could emphasize customer service and a nice atmosphere among employees.

Looks nice, but they discriminate based on body shape. If you are a male needing underwear bigger than XL, you will not get them here, but you can be embarrassed when you have to ask them for it. If you are lucky the clerk will tell you to try the XL, as they fit her son and husband, and they say that they are stretchy. I needed groceries too, but left instead.

I have been a Fred Meyer customer for over 40 years, in both Washington and Oregon. I always find shopping to be good at any of their stores. And their staff are always friendly and helpful. Plus return on items are very easy, no hassle. Good selection of items in all departments. I love their clearance sales I have found excellent values over the years.

I used the grocery delivery service for the first time this morning from down here in Cali. Delivered to my sons up in Wa wow I must say excellent job! Great fast service!! Absolutely ruined our Thanksgiving....I called this Fred Meyers...for information about buying our Thanksgiving PREMADE meal...i asked several questions as I hadnt ever done this before. I was assured that it would be fully prepared and I only needed to heat it up. We were traveling from 2 hours away, so I thought perfect. I was then directed to order online and pay. Which I did. So I arrive Thanksgiving to pick up my fully prepared meal. Well guess what... it was not prepared. In fact...i was given a loaf of bread to toast and prepare the stuffing...WTF! The point of buying a prepared meal...is to not be making stuffing and mashed potatoes ( that also had to be prepared) this was a total JOKE! Im pissed beyond words! In addition it tasted like something you would buy in a cafeteria....it had minimal flavor! Never again!

Today was my worst experience in a family friendly check-out. The cashier Roxanne was very impatient with my 8yr child. She talked down to him and she tried to discipline my child. Her demeanor was rude and no compassion for a young child in this hard time we are dealing with this covid 19 restrictions.

Generally more expensive to shop at, and their fuel today is 13 cents more than everyone else. What good are those reward points on fuel when they cost more than everyone else? Counterintuitive if you pay attention to such things.

Fred Meyers is the place to shop. I especially like that when items are on sale whoever changes prices does a great job. The only negative I find is fruit produce is not good. We bring a lot of fresh fruit back.it seems like it has been frozen . Looks good on the outside but either pithy or rotten on inside. I love the entrance with all the lovely flowers.

Staff is always nice and helpful. But the new layout is very difficult with the pet food in the middle of the groceries with one freezer unit at one side and the other WAY down the other way. I realize that you are dividing health section from regular, but maybe the health section needs to be way down on the other side of pet food, or better yet put it all together, because we buy both. And not pet food

Literally 8 deep in a customer service line with only one associate working. Not the first time unfortunately. Would love to see them work on their customer service issues.

I like shopping here, its a one stop shopping experience, and they have more selections than the Kennewick store. Customer service is great, love how they will walk you to whatever youre looking for. The best thing about the store is the produce. Lots of parking available.

Its a supermarket that thinks its better than it really is. The only items worth buying are those on sale with your loyalty card and, hopefully, some coupons too. The pharmacy has become just as terrible as any other. I shop there only when necessary or a great sale.

Store remodel was completed in end of 2017. Store looks fabulous! Easy access and a great selection with new items. An addition in sporting goods is a gun counter and ammo sales. Your one stop shopping for him or her.

Despite current (long ongoing) construction, this store has an expansive stock of items including a full grocery section, a clothing department, and a home & garden area. Fair prices along with gas on site. Very welcoming staff and associates (in my experience).

Recently updated and modernized - LOVE it!!! Well laid out and has almost everything you need. Great selection of organic groceries and goods. Easy to get in and out of.

Love FM because you can get practically anything here. Theyre also nearing completion on a 10 million $$ remodel. The store is almost unrecognizable now, and very well laid out. Also, they will have their own butcher shop! Cant wait for that to open.And a Starbucks inside the door across from the product section, yay!!

We have been shopping at Fred Meyers for several years and really pleased with the experience everytime. Its a great location, convenient. I love that I can do my shopping and gas up in one place. Fresh and quality food. We can count on Fred Meyers for most of our day to day needs. We are pleased.

The new remodel changed the layout for the better. Its easy to find all the items you need as the isles are clearly labled. The store is a lot easier to traverse making my shopping trips easier and quicker. Great store, with a great team, and now an equally as great layout.

Freds knows how to take care of customers. Always plenty of cashiers, employees willing to help find things. The Richland store is always clean, even through the recent renovation. I will go out of my way to shop at that store. Good job

Its been my local grocery store my whole life. Even when it wasnt the closest place to where I lived. And ESPECIALLY when I moved out of state to Portland, OR where it first became a grocery store from a small market. It was something that gave me the comfort of being home. Except the beer section was significantly bigger! Ill always have a warm place in my heart for Fred Meyer.

Will have to learn the layout of the newly remodeled store. Tho, the store does seem to be more spacious than before. Cant say that prices have changed at all. Employees are just as friendly & helpful as before.

Fred Meyer offers a great variety of items and if you watch for sales and coupons, you can snag some excellent deals. If you are a local sports fan, they carry Seahawks merchandise, as well as University of Washington and Washington State University merchandise. On site pharmacy and a good selection of over the counter medicinal needs too. They even have a health food section, as well as a variety of natural and organic items. The fine jewelry department carries high quality products so you can even grab a gift for someone special while you are there.

Its a very large store and understandably presents difficulties in management for those reasons alone. In my experience, these difficulties are well met by a staff that is well trained. The selections are adequate to good across the majority of the departments and the prices are fair to good depending on trending sales. Consider all this with the well maintained facilities and heavy investment Fred Meyer has in the Pacific Northwest and I try to make this my most frequented grocery/department store.

My advice... shop at Walmart. I am disabled and used the electric carts. Fred Meyers has the worst carts, broke down, dead batteries and just not kept up. I sat in a dead cart for 5 minutes behind 3 employees who were to busy chatting then paying attention to me or my dead cart. One employee gave me a look when they heard the cart beeping, but no offer of help... So sad. So... like I said. Go shop at Walmart

Fred Meyer is the original one-stop shop, and they do that very well. The grocery section is great, fresh produce and meat and baked goods, and all the brand-name and store-brand pantry items that you would expect from any supermarket, all at reasonable prices (i.e. cheaper than Safeway). They also have fully stocked departments for shoes and clothing, jewelry, kitchen appliances and dishes, furniture and furnishings, electronics and toys, camping and hunting/fishing supplies, and tools and garden supplies. Other than the items I know are cheaper at WinCo or Costco, I do most of my shopping here. Prices are competitive across the board, and the staff is almost always friendly and helpful. This store in particular seems to be run very well.

Gilbert in the Meat and Seafood section is awesome! He was happy to custom cut up a whole organic chicken for me even though the other butchers wouldnt do it. Ill be coming back for my fish and meat. Ask for Gilbert.

Was in Redmond WA a couple years ago and they redid the local Fred Meyer store. It is wonderful now. Last time I was in the USA the FM in Richland WA was under construction. They were doing a wonderful job making large and fast changes. Even during the time the store was open. I now am sure it is much like the Redmond, WA Freddys. I do not plan to return to the USA for several years, but I will stop in to see the new place and all the exciting things they have done to make shopping more fun and pleasant. Love the little coffee, nail and other business attached to the FM store front.

The store has been in the process of remodeling all spring and summer and it is looking great. The staff has been so helpful during the transition. The increased inventory is a major plus for our area.

I am always happy to shop here! The customer service is usually spot on! Although since the remodel the pastries arent fresh and the customer service in that department is lacking. The Jewelery Department is also in need of a compassionate Manager who shows empathy. Although I faulted these two departments, overall this store offers everything in one place including personal shoppers! I am impressed by their current technological advancements above their competitors!

Newly remodeled, really nice updates. You can purchase just about anything from furniture to groceries. Prices seem to be a bit higher, but often run sales, so if it is a concern, keep an eye out for those.

Love the options of organic fruits and vegetables,knowing where the farms are located is a bonus. The selection of gluten free and dairy free items are many.

This Fred Meyers was renovated in late 2017 and its the nicest and most spacious Fred Meyers I go to. I rarely wait more than two minutes in a check out line. I highly recommend it.

Everywhere I shop, using my debit card,groceries, hardware,building materials, the register is always the same...red indicates no cash back..... not Fred Meyer. ..that cancels the transaction. Why did you make that decision to make red cancel. So that means, when I shop at Fred Meyers, I have to wear reading glasses, or remember that you are the opposite.

Good store. Has electronics, clothing, garden, toys etc. On top of the grocery section. The recent remodel added in a nice meat and seafood counter. Bbq has tank refill/exchange is by the garden entrance.

Only a few times have I ever had to wait in a line which was maybe one or two people in front of me nothing compared to Walmart lines! Customer service is great most all cashiers are nice and Im almost always asked every time Im in the store if I need any help. Now that they are remodeling even better!

I used the pick list and they gave me a completely wrong item. When I got home and discovered the error. I had to drive back, go inside, wait 15 minutes at service desk to refund, so I ould get the correct item. I quit using this service because it happens so often.

I liked shopping at Fred Meyer BEFORE the re-model better. Since the re-model the prices have gone up, its harder to find things, they placed the most expensive items front and center and to me its been a dis-improvement, and a disappointment. Also I was double charged the last two times I shopped there and had to go all the way back to the store to get re imbersed. If I shop there again it will be only for a couple items and I will self check so I dont get double charged. Its a shame the re-model wasnt designed better. Im Sorry, just being honest.

The two gals working checkstand 7, one was named Julie, tonight, were awesome. They made what was an embarrassing situation, so much better, just by their kind attitudes. Our new credit card was declined, they patiently waited while I called card holder services, because my David wasnt with me, couldnt resolve, had another form of payment, but was 40.00 short of the 250 some, and they kindly helped me get it down to what I could pay with my debit card .. never once impatient or unkind.... So thankful!! ❤️❤️

My favorite place to get groceries in the tri-cities. Prices are comparable to around town, but if you watch the weekly ads and get the online coupons you will cut your final bill. I like that they always seem to be having a sale on the foods I already want not just some fluffy junk food I dont really need. Like this week eggs 79 cents a dozen and shredded or sliced cheeses under $2!The home goods side prices seem steep to me, but Im not usually there for that so I suppose if you hit the right sale it wouldnt be bad.

Fred Meyers is a great place to shop and they always have awesome sales. Currently under construction. Once remodeling is completed, this store will be awesome.

I would normally give this store five stars. They are remodeling at the moment, and everything is askew. The staff is extra helpful, even when they are almost as lost as the customers. I look forward to the remodel being finished.😊

The customers are less rude than certain other stores and the staff is great(other than in the deli area. Some of the staff back there will ignore you completely). Food is higher quality and worth the prices.
