After an extensive and thorough repair process, Jerome persisted with the insurance adjuster regarding the electrical damage having been caused by lightning. I had Christian Brothers recommended a few months ago from an auto parts store. Ive used them now 5 or 6 times on all my vehicles. Theyre fast, friendly, and fair with pricing. A few times, the repairs were cheap and easy. Other times, the repairs were a little more extensive but they provided photos and a detailed explanation of what was needed and gave me options. Its rare that I fully trust an automotive shop but theyve earned my trust.

I was in a hurry to get my inspection done and was I lucky to find this place so close to my new house. Kind and courteous, customer service was excellent when I called and in person. I appreciate how detail oriented the guys are. Very knowledgeable about things that are going on with your vehicle. Reason for the 2star rating, I dropped of my vehicle with a working battery. Even got a great battery reading from AutoZone the day before I dropped it of there. I picked up my car, battery was completely dead! Car wouldnt even turn over. Asked them hey what happened to my battery, they got very defensive about the issue! We didnt do anything to your battery, Im not sure why its dead was what I was told. They had to give me a jump before I could even leave. I got charged for an oil change, when I told them I had just got an oil change the day before I brought the car there. They took it upon themselves to do another oil change, that didnt fix my issue! But I was still charged. Not all business is good business to say the least! Dodged a bullet, saved myself thousands by doing my own due diligence.

(water pump, belt for power steering, air conditioner, etc.) They expedited every order, contacting multiple vendors to see who was quickest; they even sent a mechanic to get one part bc it was faster. They got me out of there w/in hours and went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure I was comfortable while I waited. Not only did their PRICE BEAT COMPETITORS but their Guarantee is pretty great too!

Came here after noticing a leak and taking to an oil change place that said it was my transmission. The oil change place never put the cap on the oil which made a mess that Christian Brothers cleaned free of charge. They informed me in a timely and incredibly professional manner that I had a transmission leak that was quite pricey to fix. Jerome talked me through how we can plan for this fix because it wasn’t urgent, but definitely necessary for the future. I know some places would’ve scared me into immediate service just to get my $$. 10/10 recommend. Super professional and friendly personnel and very informative process.

Came in with check engine light and thermostat alarms going off at 7am. They drove me home after check in and got a diagnostic run by lunch. Very well communicated with pictures, needs and general recommendations. Text system alerted me to car status. Jerome and rest of front staff were up front and not pushy about anything. Went great.

Never going back again. It was the first and last time i went there. I always go to dealership for oil change but since they were taking a lot of time, i decided to give this location and company a try. Heard a lot about them. I went there to get the oil change. Gave me the price and i agreed. After 20 mins, the salesperson who was handling me came with bad news saying that i have to replace the oil filter cap because its broken. Further added that it was too tightly closed that when technician tried to open it broke. On top of that, the sales person was making excuse like it was not their fault saying that its plastic, its worn off after some time.Just tell me one thing, i been going to dealership to get oil change since i bought the car in 2014. Never ever had that problem. Salesperson took me to technician to show it and technician saying that plastic get hot and cold thats why it worn off. Come on you should have just admit that it was your mistake.Once this was done i asked them that is there any alternate and i was said no. I had no other option to buy a new one which they don’t had the plastic one instead they charged me for the metal one which added extra $$$ on top of oil change. Glad i know now how dishonest they are. Never ever going again and won’t recommend others also. Just go to dealership and save yourself a headache.Update: 08/16/21I have emailed my response and i would highly suggest that please check you cameras because whatever you telling me happened completely opposite of it.

Jerome is my new best friend. I took my Mercedes there for plugs, brake fluid change and to clean out the fuel injection system. Jerome was friendly and knowledgeable. It is hard to trust a vehicle service center, but it is not hard for me to trust this one. Between my Jeep, my old Cadillac, and this used Mercedes, I have used Christian Brothers for many years. I have never had a bad experience. Thank you for all you do and thank you for being so close. I will use you for many years to come.

Gentlemen at the front were friendly and helpful. Lobby was a decent size. During these times, it is enough to hold 3 separate parties. If you feel uncomfortable waiting inside, there are plenty of shops within walking distance to explore. There is a child playing area in the corner, which was helpful in distracting my baby while my state inspection took place. There is sanitizer at the front for disinfection after. Complimentary water is offered if you choose to wait, and another bottle awaits in your cars cup holder once youre ready to go. Great experience, and would highly recommend to those in the area!

Great service and communication. After first time at the CB garage I had a problem with the vehicle. Christian Brothers towed my van for free and performed the repairs in a single day. These subsequent repairs were unrelated to the work done there the first time.They have an excellent warranty covering their work and parts. A great added security which will have me going back to them for any further repairs.

Jerome was outstanding in assisting with my vehicle that needs engine replacement. My only issue was paying a $235 price for them just to tell me it needed work. I took another vehicle here previously and paid $50 for a diagnostic. I thought they could’ve done a better job waiving part of that fee especially because I will be giving them more business. However, overall I appreciate the customer service and professionalism.

Staff is very dishonest. Convinced me to bring my car here for a prompt same-day service. 4 days later they still have my car and are not being sincere nor transparent about the fact that they are understaffed and unable to properly manage parts procurement and inventory.The entire crew seem highly unprofessional and as a first-timer to this shop, I’m not bringing my car back here a second time. “We will call you” seems simply likely a tactics to have you leave your car at their shop, while they they write you a giant bill, and then don’t deliver until several days after.*This is about LISTENING to the voice of your customers. IF you are unable to deliver same-day service, simply own up and say so upfront so customers can go explore a different shop, and not beat around the bush. Make Jerome the MANAGER of this shop and save your business.

Their attention to detail is outstanding!It all began when I called the shop on Friday to inquire about my car being long overdue for a oil change, as we were heading out for the weekend. Jerome answered, was easy to talk to and completely understood my concerns, and was ready to make things happen to get me on the road as scheduled. He did not guarantee such, as he was honest about the lunch hour that was upon us with staggered labor force that may cause delays. He set realistic expectations with this transparency.Upon my arrival, everyone was welcoming and friendly. He began to collect the vehicle information, owner details, then proceeded to pop the hood. Explaining the entire time, fielding my questions, he informed me of the oil color as he showed me and agreed the weekend trip would be ok, as long as it was taken care of the next week. A Monday afternoon appointment was made.Upon my return that following week, they had me in and out in an hour. The staff was beyond mannerly, friendly and on point. When the car was ready, they brought the car to the door. They did offer a discount coupon for next time, as they said they didnt havent done at the time they had said, but trust me it was on time! As I hopped in the car, and placed my handbag in the passenger seat I was pleasantly surprised with a cold bottle of water courtesy of Christian Brothers.Working in the city, and living out here, my car services were either dropped of close to the office, relying on colleagues for a half a day, or on Saturdays. There would be zero interaction, unless they were trying to upsale you. Overall this was the best car service experience I have had to date, and trust me I have had a ton of car services in my days!

I had the following replaced on my Honda Accord: rear control arms, carrier bearing leak, real wheel bearings. Christian Brothers got me in quickly, were very accommodating, knowledgeable. They explained the estimate and repairs needed for my car. I would highly recommend them!

Transmission was slipping a little, told me I needed $3800, new transmission. Charged me a $135 fee so they could tell me I needed a bunch of other unrelated things.Took car to a transmission shop, they checked all the factory software updates, did a complete transmission service and replaced fluids. $450 total, car runs great.

I have been fortunate enough to not need any car repairs before, so I don’t have the ability to compare this experience to another. With that being said, these guys were awesome. I had a check engine light that needed to be resolved before I could do my state inspection. I was able to get right in and instead of waiting around or having to plan for someone else to follow me and take me home, they offered a shuttle to take me home while I waited.Once they found the issue with my vehicle I was not just told about the issues, I was texted photos of the issues. With as many repair shops out there scamming people, it was great to have photos sent to backup what was being said. Very transparent.They offered me coffee and water while I was in their lobby. Everyone was friendly.I hope I don’t need any repairs anytime soon. In the event that I do need a repair, I’ll be coming back.

An honest mechanic brings peace of mind and generally a smaller bill too! These guys made a mistake when repairing my wheel hub, but then owned up to it, fixed the problem the very next day and even fixed something else they found with my car free of charge.

17 days now without my vehicle. I had to move towards having my husband communicate with them because I felt as if they didn’t take me seriously because I am a woman. My husband asked to speak with the owner and was informed he could email him:My wife brought her Jeep in to your location at Mason and the Grand Parkway on Thursday, 9/24 and it was diagnosed as having leaks in the rear main seal and oil pan. On Monday, 9/28 we were told the parts were in and they were working on it. We picked it up on Wednesday, 9/30 and when my wife drove it to work the next morning, there was a really loud humming sound anytime she went over 50 mph, it was shaking when in stop and go traffic, and when arriving to work she saw steam coming from under the vehicle. We returned with it on Thursday and Michael gave my wife the feeling she didn’t know what she was talking about until he went for a test drive with her. We waited until Monday, 10/5 until they were able to determine what they thought the issue was. My wife this whole time had to call to get updates because there was very little communication. They made her think that it would be ready Tuesday, 10/6 and we then found out that it wasn’t ready. I called Wednesday and Michael said there was another issue and they needed another part. He said the part was in stock so they would need it the rest of the day Wednesday and most of Thursday, but we would be able to pick it up that day. I called Thursday because we never heard back from Michael and Phillip said that the part wasn’t in and that it got held up in Dallas. Friday I called again because we hadn’t heard anything and Phillip said that they wouldn’t be able to finish and he would call us back late Monday.Our expectations with this company have been unimpressive and it feels that something is being hidden from us. We need answers to help us understand what is going on and when we should expect our vehicle back.

I forgot to ask for my AAA discount and they didnt remind me or ask if I have AAA. Third time in a row. Maybe they could just put it in their system so I could get the discount each time without having to remember to ask. They wont credit me for the $50.00 on the next service. I asked and was told thats not how it works.When I picked up my truck and drove off my low coolant light came on. I went back and asked why they didnt top off the coolant and was told that they dont give away coolant. They only add it if I get the radiator serviced.Ill probably go back to Kwik Kar lube on Fry Rd next time because the oil change service is more thorough, and I get a free car wash.Other than that the repair service is pretty good, so Ill return for that. :)

These folks have always done good work at fair price. When I recently needed fluids topped off it was quick and no charge! When temps fall they set up an Express line for free air for tires. First class all the way.

I started using Christian Brothers about a year ago. The reason was this place generally had great reviews. My personal experience has been that Christian Brothers Waterside performs excellent service and great value for the money. They do not try to gouge you with services not needed or highly marked up parts pricing. They are very professional and their customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend them over other automobile service places in this area.

My car literally started smoking and died the day after I got my service done. I mentioned various noises and leaks I was hearing and seeing after went to pick my car up however they told me that it was a result of other work they did and I may need to bring it back in to get additional work done.

I went to this location for my vehicle inspection 2017 Toyota Corolla. This was done in a timely and professional manner. While I was still waiting, somebody walked to me and handed my keys over with the inspection paper. I then walked to the front desk to pay and he told me that there is nothing to pay. They inspected my car for free saying that it is because this is my first time of visiting the shop. Thank you guys. They will be the one servicing my cars going forward.
