I absolutely love this little bookstore. It has a wonderful collection of kids books as well as spiritual guides. They also have about 10 small sections throughout the store for local artists to have items in the store. And monthly they hold free vender events in their alley thats family fun and super welcoming with friendly staff. My entire family loves coming here because there is always something for everyone. Bonus, its a small local Richmond business.

Went yesterday on a whim and it was such a cute, perfect experience. The place was clean and there were a wide variety of books up to the ceiling! The person working was also so nice.If you’re looking for a good book, absolutely go here :)

What a cool spot!! I highly recommend to check this store out - they have a great selection of new and used books and their pricing is fantastic. Really wonderful staff who are helpful and more than happy to help out. I attended an event there and everything was set up very nicely. Beautiful shop, both inside and out, maintained exceptionally with a SPOTLESS bathroom and easy parking in their parking lot.

Great place to browse and buy new and slightly used books with an extensive selection of all genres fiction and non-fiction. David, the proprietor is very knowledgeable and eager to assist with any specific search. Generous selection of history titles and biographies with even a few vintage collector gems. Excellent venue to pickup fresh pulp to purouse,now with extra time to read.👍👍

What a delightful gem. Used and new books merged together and grouped by subject. Found two new cookbooks that I am over the moon about. Great January sale. Stopped in while waiting for a repair in the area, but planning as the actual destination next time!

Its an interesting book store and the owner is very helpful. It would be nice if they had outdoor seating to sit for awhile.

They have a TON of used books in every category (even foreign languages) in stock and they gladly fill special orders. Convenient location. Maybe even special events and author signings, except not now in a pandemic.

Cute shop with a selection of vintage and sometimes obscure titles, but whenever Im looking for something specific I come here. I almost never find what I set out to get, but when I let the store tell me what I want instead I am never disappointed.

They gave me some great recommendations via email, and pickup was quick and easy. I also like that they partner with libro.fm, which is a wonderful alternative to Audible if you want an audiobook subscription and want to support a local place.

David was an amazing presence over the telephone. He was knowledgeable about his stock and held a book for us to pick up. It was the first time visiting this establishment which just so happened to be after a renovation. It was organized and clean with an aesthetic vibe. They have new and used books, cards, framed pictures, canvas bags with their name on them. There is also a section for children. Everyone who loves books really should visit David at BOOK PEOPLE. Especially on August 18, 2018. They are having a Grand Re-opening.

Wonderful poetry reading and signing there today. There is a contemporary yet eclectic variety of books to browse. I like the shop.

The book people are genuine, and I loved the kids corner option it means alot for parents like me, because I can take my time looking for what I want and the kids are entertained.

I never do this, but this by far the best used bookstore Ive been to in years. The owner, Rurh, is the sweetest old lady Ive encountered in a while. The selection is endless and the price more than fair. Bring cash, Id suggest, although cards are accepted. The place is perfect, a rabbit hole. I spent hours here.

Used book stores are usually cramped but Ive never been in one this cramped! Plus the used section doesnt seem like its been updated in a decade or two. Decent new selection but still incredibly cramped. The woman that owns the place is very personable and nice.

The science fiction section leaves much to desire. When not sure how to price something they check their prices the item in question was in very poor condition and was marked 2 dollars he said he had to check it and came back and said it sold for ten. It was very sketchy seeming they were nice and I love books but was very disappointed in selection and in the way they handled pricing. While writing the review the owner just chased me down and told me I could have the item for the marked price and they were sorry about the misunderstanding. She was very sweet. Still not going to come back but feel a lot better about how it is being run.

I love this little bookstore. The people have gotten to know me over the years. Great place to stop in at lunchtime and buy great used, and even new, books. I hope it stays around for many more years to come.

A lot of punch packed into a small space. Prices are average to maybe a little above for used books. The selection feels overwhelming at first, but as I delved deeper into the stacks, I noticed 85% of the authors were completely alien to me.A great place for random pickups but not sure if I could recommend visiting to find something specific.
