Vector Security technician came out and performed a complete alarm system inspection and changed all system batteries. He was on time as promised, called prior to arrival as requested. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and completely answered all my questions. Gave me instruction on system features as well. Weve had Vector Security protecting our home for many years. Completely satisfied with their service! Highly recommend Vector!

Big Chris has been my service person for over 10 years. He is someone that is a wonderful representative for Vector. Please take good care of him!! I ALWAYS ask if he can come to my house when I need a service call. He comes when he is scheduled, gets in touch if he cant make it during those times, gets the work done efficiently and effectively. Hes a great person to work with. He is respectful of me and my home and is able to explain things to someone who is technically challenged. Also, he respects the fact that I have pets that cant go out and get frightened by someone coming to make noise in the house. Every way that Chris can, he accommodates me getting my animals into other rooms and making sure I know when the noise may start. Chris is knowledgeable, professional and personable. He is always well dressed and groomed.On top of that hes efficient and offers good counsel. Youshould be very proud of him.l am.

The tech called 20 minutes before and showed up. Very professional. Problem fixed in 5 minutes. Cleared up a comm link that was down to the monitoring system that had been dead for 2 weeks. As a lessons learned the monitoring station should be able to reset links to save the personal use of time but well pleased with the on the ground tech who knew his stuff and performed well

Thank you Vector Security for your service. Needed battery replaced due to low signal. Asked for replacement of all batteries to avoid another trip but he only replaced the one. I told him that all 3 had been replaced before. Nevertheless I appreciate the service that was rendered. Have had service with Vector Security since 2007!

Salesman was untruthful, system is no good for $45.00 a month. If anything it is only worth $15.00 a month. So many issues with panel and sensor. Got tired of calling them out and the alarm going off every time we used it (I guess that is why they charge $45.00/ month to pay their techs for a horrible alarm system.) It became a big inconvenience. Do not sign a contract longer than a year if you do decide to try them out. But there are other option that are better for that monthly fee.

The technician that came to my property on 2/3/21 was very polite and thorough. He even corrected/tweaked a couple of items that the technician did not complete or test on the initial set up a week or so prior. I could not have thanked him enough for treating my home like it was his. With the service I received from my tech guy on 2/3/21 I would highly recommend Vector for all of your security needs.. Vector’s gross negligence in the management of my home alarm system and their refusal to repair it in a timely fashion resulted in several weeks in my home without the coverage they promised.After I sought another alarm company because they refused to repair my service, they sent me to collections for the balance of a contract they were clearly unable to fulfill. I never missed a payment. I never gave them a reason to want to lose me as a customer. But when the rubber met the road, they were completely unable (or unwilling) to hold up their end of the bargain. Instead of owning their inadequacy, they have chosen to extort money from a 7 year customer that they were simply not interested in retaining. Do not do business with this company.

I unfortunately had a really poor experience with Vector Security. I had them for my business for 7 years. A few months ago they started calling me at midnight to let me know they were receiving a connection error. They then told me to call technical support. Well, I couldnt get ahold of anyone at technical support. The phone would ring and ring and I would leave a message with no word back. After about a month of this, I finally asked the monitoring sender to please ask technical support to come out. A few days later a tech showed up, checked my system, and then handed me a bill for $249. He said all the systems for Vector needed an update for 5G. I told him I didnt want an upgrade but he said it was required and I would have to pay for it. After a month of phone calls at midnight, calling tech support with no response, and this unexpected bill, I finally just decided to cancel. I hope the company improves their customer service and communication with customers.

I had 12pm-3pm appointment for a technician to take a look at my equipment. I appreciated Chris (the technician) calling me and showing up early (shortly after 12pm), very courteous and professional. He knew what he was doing. He made sure everything was working properly before he left. Vector Security monitoring station/offices also on top of their game making me feel my home is protected 24/7.

The representative identified himself and was wearing clothing that identified him as a representative of Vector.He appeared wearing protective mask as appropriate. He was kind, knowledgeable about what he was doing, and very manner-able.He also had what was needed to complete the job timely. Cameras were reconnected and are working.Thanks 😊

Frank was very professional/wore a face cover/checked all our equipment to make sure everything was working/changed batteries at front door (so we are good for awhile). He made absolutely sure all connections -door - panel - lock were working correctly before leaving. I hate to leave less than five stars, but I feel tricked by the salesman Will from Vector. The security system was installed three weeks ago, and their system had a couple of kinks but works ok now. However, today I reviewed my credit report and saw they had done a hard credit check on me. Will never told me they were doing a hard credit check, and Im in the process of buying a new house. Anything that lowers my credit score upsets me. I had no idea someone could do a credit check on you without your social security number because they have never been given my social.The installer was excellent, and I feel he was far more upfront than Will was. And Ive also sent Will text messages about equipment not working, etc. He never responded. The installer responded almost immediately because he left me his personal contact information and said if I ever have any problems, its easier to contact than any salespeople.I guess once the sales representatives get you signed up, then youre history to them or Will anyway.

Although it took several service calls for my quipment to work properly on a consistent basis, it works fine now. The company sent out a technician as many times as necessary to accomplish this. I cant say enough nice things about my technician Mike! He is friendly, respectful, courteous, honest, and very patient. He takes time to answer all my questions and explains everything in detail. He always calls about a 1/2 an hour before his arrival to let me know he is on his way. He makes me feel like a friend, not just a customer.The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because of the $25 service charge that can be assessed for service calls. Overall Ive been very pleased with Vector Security, and would highly recommend this company.

He told me the cameras would not operate with low Internet. Thanks goes to Verizon who worked hard to increase my Internet Service so Vector can do their job properly. Vector Security has the absolute worst customer service. It is impossible to get through to anyone ever when you need help. The posted phone number on their website put me through to their accounting department I was then transferred to two other departments and have now been on hold for 48 minutes!!!! Oh they were awesome with the sale but when you have an incident or need help you will feel forgotten about.Ive left complaints about their voicemail maze before. This is not my first time getting no help. I had an incident last night to my building and need help because once again I am unable to log on to view the cameras.I will be changing to another service

Recently we had security cameras and panic buttons installed at our office facility. John Carr and his assistant completed the install in one day and did a phenomenal job. I had no idea how they would be able to install the exterior cameras where we wanted them, but John figured it out and did the cleanest install imaginable. This was not an easy task based on where the lines had to be run, but it did not seem be a challenge for them at all. Upon completion of the installation, John took the time to go over in great detail the full operation of the camera system. If you are looking for a quality install, then John Carr is the one you want. He is the most courteous and knowledge service person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Thank you John for a job well done !

I am writing a review of this company not as a customer but as someone who was involved in a dispute. My grandmother was sold a Vector Security system several years ago by a representative (at the time) reselling Vector Security systems (AMP Security). She was happy with the service and satisfied with the price (even if I thought it was too expensive). Within the last couple of years, she signed a new five year contract directly with Vector. At some point, Vector terminated their relationship with AMP Security and they subsequently signed on with Guardian Protection Services (a competitor to Vector). The same representative visited my grandmother and explained that he was there to sell an upgrade to her current system. She was given the impression that this was still with Vector when in fact, the representative was selling Guardian systems. So, she ended up signing a five year contract with a different company, thinking she was upgrading her Vector Security System when in fact, she was signing with Guardian. The Guardian installer came and ripped out her old Vector system and installed a new system from Guardian. Now, she was under contracts to two different home security companies while only having the equipment from one (the one who misrepresented themselves). I contacted all three companies and Vector (who did nothing wrong) was the only one that was helpful in any way at getting this issue resolved. Guardian and AMP both acted as though nothing was done improperly by their companies and offered no relief or recourse. In the end, I dont know how good the service is with Vector but I do know that they were helpful when trying to resolve a very sticky situation caused by the dishonesty of the other two companies. The person who was so helpful was named Amy and is in the Richmond office. Kudos to her!

For the 13 years I have have been partnered with Vector I have used their service at my home. The monitoring response has been nothing but exceptional. My experience as an employee has been very positive. Sales can be a challenging career but offering security, life safety, and automation is very rewarding. I recommend Vector as a great place to work and a great company to partner with for your security and home automation needs.Please remember when a security and automation system is installed it requires a monitoring agreement- that is a commitment for a term both parties agree to, sometimes customers seem to forget. I always recommend you ask questions and read your agreement prior to having the system installed.

Update: A tech came out (Chris) because I was having issues with my doorbell camera. Before I could explain he was 10 steps ahead of me and had an upgraded doorbell camera. He was so kind and now my new doorbell is amazing! Thank you Vector for wonderful technicians!Vector has been AMAZING!!! The referral program is the greatest!! Mary Pritchard has been my reply for 2 years and is always there when I call or need something. Thank you Vector!
