Super delicious breakfast croissants! Donuts and kolaches are very fresh and tasty. There is also banh mi and other lunch foods as well. A hidden gem for sure.
Always great food. I tried the kronut for the first time today... It was delicious. We havent found a flavor that we didnt like.
Ca-razy combos of donuts with desserts and savory flavors. Took a while but well with it. You may only need just one donut surprisingly.
I was very impressed with The Grove Do-Nutz & Deli. My favorites are 1st. (fresh to order if sold out) sausage, egg, cheese croissant, 2nd donut holes, and 3rd made to order sandwiches. The bread, veggies and meat are fresh and so delicious! I just wish they opened a little earlier. I’ve had to wait outside due to the 8 a.m. opening time. Just opening 30 minutes to an hour earlier would help.
Love this little neighborhood gem. Worth the drive if you don’t live close. They have a lot of coffee options and always fresh kolaches and gourmet donuts. Love coming with my little family and friends
This place is hands down, the best gourmet donuts ever! Freshly made, made when ordered. Fresh! Amazing variety and flavors. All on point. My personal fave is the korean fries, maple bacon, creme brulee and any kronuts!I took a bunch of good videos, bummer that I cant post it for yall!
A small location with a large amount of flavor and personality. Service was impeccable and served with a smile. Food was delivered fast, and with a smile. Lots of items to choose from, but no meal is complete without a side (or main dish) of cronuts. Definitely worth the visit and we shall be back. The cronuts dont last long so get there early before they run out.
Some of the donuts were incredibly sweet. Was a cool little treat though in the morning!
I have tried to eat here 3 different times over the last couple years during their normal buisness hours but instead drove all the way here to find them closed. Adjust your hours on google its not that hard. The place looks good though, thats why i kept trying to come back, still havent been able to try it myself.
I love donuts so I wanted to try this place. They have unique combinations and flavors for donuts. They look good and tasted good too. They also serve other savory food besides the donuts. The store itself is quite small though, but they do have a donut truck that you can track down if you do not want to visit the store. The price though is a bit high for donuts.
Probably not the healthiest food in town but pretty delicious. Friendly and fast service, they make ALL donuts and toppings from scratch, they even have a pizza donut! That I had to try as well as dulce de leche, banana cream and smores. Must be eaten soon or theyll get soggy due to the amount of toppings.Parking on site.
Donuts and food is top notch! Come from miles to get these baked bundles of joy!
I cannot recommend this place. The food is tasty, but not special, it’s on par with chain donut shops in regard to taste. But the prices!!!! It’s 2x or 3x other donut shops. And the service is bad. It took 20 or more minutes to get pre cooked food. Another local shop serves pretty good meat kolaches too, less than half the price and they come hot instead of stone cold. It’s not terrible here, it’s average, with slightly slower service, and way higher prices.Numerous people came and left without ordering or even being acknowledged by the staff. You do not get the small business personal feeling here at all.Update: did not know till after posting above, Order was also wrong. I ordered 1/2 doz sausage cheese. About half have cheese and half don’t.
The donuts were amazing right here.
Okay - so Ive only had a Ban Mi from one other place and I wasnt a huge fan of the sandwich, but I thought I would try it again.Holy **** that was good. I got the Korean beef (double-beef) with medium spice and a runny egg.I wrote this review almost right after. **** that was good.
Since I work literally right behind them @ Century Automotive and Transmission, its a short walk to some of the best donuts ever. Their lunch rocks too, really good Pork Bahn Mi, Vietnamese Salads, extremely generous sandwiches, all at good prices. Did I forget to tell you about their service? Always with a smile! Thanks guys, for making my guys happy with hot donuts! Love you !
Ive been going the The Grove for 6-7 years, and every trip is a pleasure cruz!
The donuts were pretty good. The kolaches were ice cold, soggy and un-eatable until we could warm in microwave at home. They took forever to get set up in the AM. If you open at 8am, be ready at such time.
Lazy Sunday- didn’t want to cook so decided to swing by and sample more of the menu than just their awesome donuts. Am I glad I did! The Korean Beef Bahn Mi, the kimchee fried rice and the tacos were scrumptious and fresh! Huge portions and have plenty of leftovers. The pillowy donuts were perfect for dessert:)
They have a donut sandwich that is awesome. A must try!!
This place reminds me of VooDoo donuts - their gourmet donuts are a must try and the kolaches and Asian tacos are great as well...you won’t go wrong here
This place is amazing. My favorite it’s the strawberry cheesecake cronut.
So this place is like 45 minutes from my house but guess what, I DONT CARE!!!, have you ever tasted something that takes your tastebuds to another level!!! Now I cant review any of their donuts because, even though they have a large menu, Im a classic glazed girl. However, Im talking about the Uber delish, Glazed Cronuts!!! Guys a donut and a croissant had a baby that you gotta try! The only issue is that they run out really fast. So do yourself a favor and either pre-order or call before you go. Trust me, if you love glazed donuts (they do have other flavors too) and loved a flasky croissant, you will be hooked like me :)
Holy guacamole! Im in love! I had the Monte Cristo Kronut and a kolache. Both were amazing! And so many options for both regular donuts and kronuts. I appreciate how its made to order too. Ive been to places like Hurtz Donuts and you take what they have there but the donuts here they customize after you order and I think thats very nice.
The donuts are So light tasting, not greasy, and So delicious!! Nothing compares to these donuts!! The owners were super nice too. I will definitely be going back to sample more of their varieties.
Great flavor!! The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. If you cant find a flavor you like at this store....give up!! They have tons of options and everything is amazing!!
If you like donuts, definitely try The Grove. Its a little out of the way, but that means it doesnt get nearly as crowded as the places in the city. They get your order to you pretty quickly even if there is a wait. All of the donuts I have tasted have been delicious. I highly recommend trying it!
I can only give it four stars because something is ALWAYS missing from my order. TWO times, I caught the mistake before leaving. This time, however, I had my kids with me so we just took the order home only to find we were missing kolaches and one of the donuts we ordered was wrong. I ordered lemon and was given Bavarian filled (which I dont like). The donuts ARE good which is why we keep giving them chances, but I think we will look for another place.
Vietnam Coffee is strong and sweet.
Okay service miss items see clients leave without ordering believe werent acknowledged.
This place has by far the best Beignet Ive had outside of Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. Its definitely the closest to the original New Orleans classic. Well done!
Very convenient form harvest green
I didn’t care for the breakfast sandwich, but the cronut is really good.
Awesome service and the best maple bacon donut I have ever had!!! Come early they sell out quick of breakfast sandwiches and popular items!
Friendly staff! Very helpfull as I was purchasing a dozen donuts to bring to workers on a cold morning! The glazed dozen I purchased was warm and you could tell fresh ! Workers were so happy of the quality A+ service A+ Donuts A+ decorations loved the signage !
Donuts are great, but be sure you have 30 min - an hour to wait for your order, even if you order online.
Coffee is always really strong. Donuts and kronuts are always crowd pleasers. If you promise your kids Kronuts, get there early!
The donuts are incredible. Its a small shop so seating could be scarce depending on when you go but you wont be disappointed. Try the cinnamon-sugar croissant donut. Amazing.
Nice little cozy spot! Really really like the Cereal Donuts! I was even surprised to see they have Banh Mi! Will definitely be back to try those out! Coffee is also delicious, the breakfast sandwiches are yummy and I LOVE the signs posted on the walls. Theyre hilarious! We live in Sugar Land and it was definitely worth the drive! 👍🏼👍🏼
I love stopping for breakfast, but any other time could take forever and its hard to tell when orders will take longer than usual.
Very unique selection of donuts and deli sandwiches! I took a dozen of their cereal topped donuts to work one day and they were gone in seconds! Delicious and different! Staff is very friendly. The Grove Do-Nutz also has a food truck that goes round town. Its great to see a local donut shop doing so well.
Delicious donuts with unique flavors. The banana cream pie was very yummy😋. The breakfast sandwiches were really good also. Customer service was great 👏The ladies take their time to explain the type of donuts.I will definitely come back.👍They need a bigger seating space.
Best donuts EVER! I’ve been coming here since they’ve opened and I’ve never been disappointed. My family still lives here, but I live in Miami, so anytime I visit home this place is a must stop for me!
I really liked this place. There donuts were darn good. The kolaches are darn good. I havent had everything in the menu, but what I did get was really tasty, which was the hot dog. To many things to try on one go, so be sure to revisit once you see what I mean.
We tried and the kolaches are all bread with a 1/4 piece of sausage. Breakfast sandwiches are all croissant.Donuts were averageFor the price and quality I wouldnt return and still with Billys donuts
This place is great. I brought my two kids here because of their reputation for having different styles of donuts not found anywhere else. Everyone was extremely nice and the donuts were excellent. my kids had a blast
Great staff and the gourmet donuts are delish. They have some interesting food items on the menu like kimchi fried rice. Definitely worth a try for the food seekers. The place is quaint but has lots of surprises. Their wall decor is fun to look at. Stop by and be amazed at the grove.
Remarkable selection of flavors! Definitely something for every taste. I love the lemon donut holes. They have a nice tartness.
If you have not been to Grove Donuts, you need to go. Their donuts are made fresh to order and they are so decadent. My only hang up is that every time I leave my wallet is $25 lighter while I am a pound heavier. It is worth it though.
Staff are friendly and helpful, this local spot is a must have. The food is always fresh and everything on the menu is delicious.
Donuts (and kronuts) are made here, fresh, and you can choose from an almost overwhelming amount of toppings and flavors that theyll customize your donut with. Its pretty typical in my experience to ask the cashier what their favorites are so that you get an insiders opinion of some of the toppings, usually that you may not pick. The only downside is theres no menu that explains what each of the flavors are, so you do have to ask the cashier if you want a full rundown of what they offer.
Seriously anybody reading these reviews to try and see if this place is any good. The reviews dont do it justice. Go see for your self, you wont de disappointed.
Staff was nice and donuts were awesome. I got a bacon glazed and it was great. They also serve savory food I believe. Kind of pricey, but worth it.
Here youll find an eclectic assortment of made-to-order donuts with just about any sweet or savory toppings you can imagine. They also have hot beignets, kronuts, standard donut shop fare. Dont forget a coffee or espresso drink to go!
I have been coming here for years and it has been a sight to see this place become popular. With the exception of the stuff that is in the glass cabinets, many of the donuts are made to order. I would highly recommend their Kronuts whenever they have them. They are available in many of the same flavors as the regular donuts. They also have a wide selection of Asian-fusion dishes that are also made to order. My personal favorite is the spicy pork banh me with a runny egg.Definitely worth the trip if youre craving something with a twist.
The best donuts . Im spoiled to them. Nice warm and fresh.
We drove 30 minutes to get here. Took the grandkids they loved it. I had a hard time deciding what to get. Ate there and brought some to go.Dont know which is what just picked random off the menu. But they sure look awesome. Will most definitely be back
I believe they should either be a donut shop or be a delicatessan. I Went in with my 6 year old niece for a DONUT and 45 minutes later we got some, because they were working on fancy Vogue donuts with pepperoni on it. The donuts we got werent even that good.
Sometimes when they hear up their kolaches the bottom part is all wet and gross - not sure why it happens. Other than that - this is wonderful!
1st time here... Great service I will recommend it 100%
Waited 25 minutes for 2 regular glazed and 1 French toast donut . The girl at the register forgot about me. When i got them they were soggy and liquidy I just trashed em. Gross.
Best Cronuts Ive had in Houston......hands down.
Great mixture of awesome donuts. Love this place
Good breakfast food with variety of specialty donuts, kolaches and and some coffee options. A few sandwich items on lunch menu. Kinda small indoor seating so unless you get there at a slow time, plan to get it to go.
Kolaches and breakfast balls were not good at all, however, the strawberry cheesecake donut was amazing. I guess you just have to pick the right things off the menu. Staff was decently nice, could have been better. Seemed kind of disorganized.
Best Donuts Ever! Creative Donuts. Love How Vintage The Place Is. Owners Are Very Friendly. Great Food & Drinks. Perfect Place To Relax & Chill.
The coffee was WEAK AF. Everything else was fine. I got the Elvis Cronut, the kolaches, the donuts, the bahn mi.
One of our favorite places to go, we go daily some weeks, they always go above and beyond to help you have a great experience. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for some exceptional Do-Nutz!
The Best donuts my family and I ever had. We talked about The Grove so much to my brother from Los Angeles, that when he came to visit, he said that he had to go there before he left to see what the big deal was. He ended up taking two(2) dozens kronutz back to LA. And the service is top notch.
Friendly staff, cozy atmosphereOh yeah...KRONUTS!!!!
Always tasty!
Very small inside. Definitely a to go place as Ive seen other people mention. Was able to try a couple different things on the menu. Kolache, Donut, filled donut holes. All in all the food wasnt bad. It is a bit pricey for donuts but I suppose thats to be expected when you do a gourmet anything restaurant. Ill be honest there are a couple things I would like to go back and try but this experience was good not great. I will say the owners do seem very nice and considerate of their patrons as a gentleman who I assume owned it went around asking if everyone was ok or if he could do anything for them. One of the tables we first sat at was messy and it looked like maybe they were a little too busy to handle a little housekeeping on the few tables they do have. All in all decent place and will go back to try more of their unique creations.
Glazed donuts is my go-to place for late night cravings. The donuts are always delicious and the staff is super friendly and helpful! I definitely reccomend the Nutella filled donut it’s AMAZING.
We went here on a Sunday morning as we usually do for all the donut shops that we try. We apparently got in just before a massive crowd came. The kolaches and donuts are fantastic! The iced coffee I had was much better than most other coffee shops on all the corners. Only downfall is there is not much seating and the line can be out the door, otherwise, I would recommend this place to everyone. They even do special order donuts and other items that they make in back while you wait (does cause more problems with seating).
Very nice mom/pop. Great food.
I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately Im not able to actually grade how the donuts taste because I decided to ask for a refund after over 40 minutes of waiting. 40 minutes for 4 donuts and a kolache. We had also ordered donut holes which were brought out after around 25 minutes. We got there right when it opened at 8 am so there were only 4-5 orders ahead of us. The orders ahead of us also took 30-40 minutes. Also, 4 donuts, a kolache, donut holes and two chocolate milks came to almost $20. $20 for donuts is absurd.Just a complete failure.
The donuts here were great. Super fresh and the staff is great. Its a little small inside but totally worth going
Best donuts, cronuts, & dive Vietnamese/Asian fusion food...
