This was my honey and my first time at Goldmine! We live pretty far away (about an hour south of Houston) and we were in search of a Magic the Gathering Commander set. Not only were we able to get the pack we desired, but we discovered this place! I cant remember the gentlemans name, but he was extremely nice! If youre a table top player youll be in heaven. He mentioned hes now getting more into Magic the Gathering too! The atmosphere is totally cool and rustic feeling, we felt very comfortable, almost an at home vibe. He got us signed up for so many awesome offers that the store provides to its customers, always a plus! Though we live super far away, well definitely be back!As we were walking out we fell completely in love with a tiny bobbed-tail kitty, just pushing our experience over the edge.I highly recommend this place to anyone who has a nerdy passion for games! Since the owner is a gamer/hobbiest, he knows EXACTLY what to stock and what works best for his CUSTOMER, who is front and foremost in his mind. I’ve been in the Wargaming hobby for decades and Goldmine is by far the best shop I’ve ever been to. There are tons of tables for playing games, all gorgeously set up with fully painted terrain. They have inventory for many, many different games and support them all. You can easily find opponents through their social media channels, so I’ve never sat around waiting for a game. Make a post, wait a few minutes, then you typically have a game or two set up. Amazing shop and even better gaming community!

The perfect gaming experience by far. The retail side has everything you could ever need and the gaming side has expertly painted tables and terrain. And it even has tables set up with paint stations if you would like to learn some different techniques. Overall it’s an awesome place with even awesomer employees and customers.

Really love the friendly atmosphere of the place, I want to start to play WH40K( I have not played the table top game with anyone at the store) there because the tables there are Decorated with already painted scenery that has a lot of Attention to detail! I highly recommend this store to anyone who is in the hobby!

Miek is a wonderful guy who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with any questions veterans or beginners may have. His stock is incredible and I have yet to go in without finding what I needed or wanted. This store is amazing if you like tabletop wargaming, especially Games Workshop products. They have the largest selection of 40k or AoS or other GW products. They also stock some Web Only items and have lots of old OOP stock too. Not only that, but they have the best looking terrain and tables in the city and they are constantly updating the store to improve it. Cant say enough about the shop
