I love the sales that Harbor Freight Tools have!! I get their sales catalog and also texts on their special sales and deals. I visited the store when I was heading back home after an appointment in Richmond. I had been meaning to purchase a tool set that I had been looking at on their web site for a while; so, I stopped to buy it. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are practicing social distancing and curbside pickup; so, the line was long and I had to wait a little longer than I am used to. But, I understand because of the one cashier and the others assisting customers in the store and still others outside with curbside customers. Great Store!! Great Staff!!

Been awhile. Looked like BETTER quality merchandise. Great for homeowners doing one time jobs. I will see how they hold up and modify post accordingly. Lots of items for craftsman or mechanic.

I got everything i needed and the people working thier helped me get those things.Great place.

If you love tools at a good price, harbor freight is a must. I have bought quite a bit from there and rarely disappointed.

Has great prices on a huge variety of items. The only caution is that you have to know that because of the great prices, some items do lack of some the quality you would get on items like batteries, certain tools-drill bits, tarps, bundy cords, etc from places like Home Depot or Lowes..It is sort of trial and error and also depends on the need and/or application. Sometimes lower prices/less quality fits the need just fine.

I like the layout of the store! Lots of signs telling you what isles have what. The employees are really helpful. This is a great tool store if you dont have professional money to spend on tools.

The employees (all female!!! Who hoo!) are all very knowledgeable and very helpful. I couldnt find an item. I asked an employee and SHE told me the exact aisle and which side of the aisle and even the shelf it should be on. And there it was! We had a good shopping experience.

Beside the tool selection this store has some of the absolute best customer service. The team at this store is highly communicative, friendly, and constantly going above expectations for an off-price retailer.

Went there for some hi vis vests. The seemed pretty well organized and the staff helped me out. The only draw back is the location, the entrance can be easy to miss. Otherwise Id return.

They refused to replace a cordless drill or the battery pack even though it was the first time I tried to use it. It is also now obsolete. They made me buy a new battery pack, so now it works. Not happy. Old one on the left new one in the charger. Old one fails to charge.

I had a problem at the Colonial Heights store so I went to the Hull Street store. Hull Street was busy. I checked the price, made my selection, was out in under a half hour. Staff ran the long checkout lines with military like precision. Great experience at the Hull Street store. Saw them take special care of person with disabilities.

This is a smaller HF than the one on Broad Street but still well organized and clean.

Good place to buy tools.

Great prices on a lot of tools but location is very sketchy. No handicapped entrance either. Overall 4 stars just for that. The place inside is clean and customer service is great. Always great coupons and specials. Just have to go during the day due to the unsafe area at night. They really should think about moving the location further up hull street road.

Harbor Freight is a good place to buy needed tools for a great price. For serious jobs these tools may not be what you need, but for the most part, they are adequate. However, they have all the smaller accessories for work at great prices.

The zoo-like atmosphere is its charm. Organized chaos! Tough to leave with less junk than you planned.

They have almost everything I need. One item was on sale so of course it sold before I got there. Layout is simple. The people are helpful. They make the bookkeeping easy too.

If you go there, be patient, because it seems like Harbor Freights check out system / computer is very slow But Ive noticed its not just this Harbor Freight, its ALL of them. But they are usually always well stocked and never give a hassle over returns. I shop there often for the cheaper things I need.

Cheap tools. What else is there to say? Good products if you know what to look for and great service every time. My only complaint is how run down the area is and how the parking lot is trashed.

If you need it, they got it. Good, efficient and friendly service.

Great place to pick up tools we quick for non professional use. If you are a professional you may want to be a bit picky about what you get there. Some tools are pretty high quality though. Some are disposable.

What is not to love about harbor freight. Cheap tools at cheap tool prices. Better than paying premium prices for craftsman tools that sell on reputation but seem to be junk these days.

Called to verify they had the item I wanted. They assured me that they had it in stock. I drove to the location after work. I asked the sales associate there where it was. They searched low and high and they couldnt find it . Big surprise. Next time, go put your hands on an item before you assure someone that you have what they are looking for. Now I get to go first thing in the morning to another location, who put their hands on it to make sure they had it. Very poor service.
