This was my first time getting my ears cleaned professionally and I am very happy with the results. One minute my hearing sounded like I was going through a tunnel and the next I could hear everything so clearly. Sometimes cleaning it yourself does not get it as clean as you think because you cant go as deep without possible risks.

I had an appointment to get my hearing aid tube replaced. I was called in at exactly the time of my appointment and the tube (from the earpiece to the hearing aid was replaced. The audiologist took time to answer my questions as she always does. I have always had good experiences with Hear Virginia and have been a customer since they opened many years ago. I will continue to be a customer their and would encourage all my friends who are experiencing hearing difficulties to call Hear Virginia and set up an appointment for a hearing test.

Dr. Lori comes to our community once a month to help seniors understand hearing lost and screen those who may have concerns. When I got screened it made sense to go to the office for a full evaluation. I now wear hearing aids and I love the whole staff at Hear Virginia for helping me.

This place was phenomenal! Dr. Gardner got back to me promptly and I was able to schedule an appointment soon after I inquired. When I arrived the receptionist was very friendly and Dr. Gardner took great care of me! I visited because I had really itchy ears and my hearing felt muffled. Even though I didn’t need any services based on her examination, she still made a great recommendation for me that helped a lot! I would highly recommend Hear Virginia and Dr. Gardner’s services!

The entire staff is extremely caring. I feel the individual needs of each patient is of the utmost importance to them. The technology is cutting edge. Dr. Gardner is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. She is extremely compassionate and she does everything she can to help her patients to both understand the cause of their hearing loss and have the best hearing device to help them overcome their disability. My hearing aides were selected to maximize my hearing needs. I can’t thank her enough for changing my life.

From the minute you walk into Hear Virginia, you feel right at home. The receptionist is warm and friendly. The waiting area is clean and attractive.I have never had to wait long to be seen, for the staff is very punctual.Dr. Gardner attended me. She was very friendly and professional. As she cleaned the wax from my ears, she was calming. I have been a patient of Dr. Lori Gardner for over 15 years. I moved to Norfolk in 2012. It is worth my time driving from Norfolk to see Lori as she is the best. She is absolutely wonderful and very caring about her patients receiving the best hearing experience with hearing aids as possible. I recently purchased new hearing aids which required 3 trips to Hear Virginia. I couldnt be happier.Also, Gail is crackerjack! She is helpful and makes me smile after that long drive.

I saw Dr. Gardner on CBS and knew when the time came for me, she would be the one Id call. She appeared very knowledgeable and (somehow) down to earth. I made the appointment with Gail, who by the way, is the best. Dr. Gardner was all I thought she would be. She spent an hour and a half with me, and I feel confident in her diagnosis. I highly recommend this practice.

Perhaps the best experience I have ever had with a medical issue remedy in my life. Dr. Lori is a true professional; she treated me with respect and took her time to explain all of the aspects of my hearing loss and its recovery. Now, with the hearing aids she recommended, I can hear again as I did when I was a young man! I was worried in the beginning that I would have a problem with them not fitting right or being an ugly sight for others to see since I have had reconstructive surgery on one of my ears due to skin cancer. She made sure: 1. that they were comfortable to wear (I dont even know Im wearing them!), and, 2. they are not visible to anyone I am with. Actually, this took quite a bit of time, several visits, and custom fitting alterations. She would not allow me to have them unless I was completely satisfied. So far, I am!Yes, I would highly recommend Hear Virginia to anyone!!!

I was so impressed with the caring and professional atmosphere at Hear Virginia. All my questions and concerns were addressed with patience, empathy and knowledge. I am new to the Richmond area, and thrilled to have found Hear Virginia for my hearing needs.

Anticipating one’s Golden Years more often includes growing wiser - not losing one’s hearing. In my case it seemed that folk’s diction was getting sloppy and I could still hear as well as I did when I was 20. Not quite so. My hearing loss progressed slowly. One ear worked as it should have for twelve years, while Hear Virginia took care of the other. I found the staff was technically proficient, and understanding my position and problems. After 12 years, I moved onto two hearing aids, well-paired for both ears. As time went on, Hva performed analyses and tweaks to assist my hearing.I have been with Hva for 39 years and recommended them to my wife (what greater compliment?). The staff has been consistent in their efforts and understanding. We would strongly recommend Hear Virginia for hearing analyses and solutions.

Dr. Gardner and her staff treat you like family from the moment you walk in the office. I have Menieres, a inner ear disease, and she has expertise with that as well as many other ear conditions. Another hearing aid clinic that advertises extensively had never heard of Menieres, and their testing caused me dizziness. Trust Dr. Gardner with your hearing concerns...she is the BEST, and you will not be disappointed. With the hearing aids she recommended, I am hearing better than I have in 20 years !!!

After going to other doctors and the head of audiology at a major hospital, I found Hear Virginia. They made my hearing aids work for me. They have the skills to understand what needs to be fixed and they have the skills to fix it. Hear Virginia is exceptional!

It is actually Barb Tallone who has found tinnitus relief after so many years of putting up with that buzzing. Dr Gardner has solved this by fitting Barb with sound aids that shut off the buzzing and replace with beautiful tones.
