Went the downtown location at 802 holly springs ave and was helped by Jake and Kate, they both extremely helpful and even looked out with a vehicle just for me despite being booked. I’ve been running around to various U - Haul companies and kept getting denied because I didn’t have a reservation (and the customer service piss poor) but yeah Penske great everyone should definitely start moving with them

Ended up going elsewhere on this occasion because all they had was huge trucks at the time. We needed a cargo van. Past experience was great.

Basically Im happy for almost everything and the one of the most important for me is they give me a chance to leave my trailer in there(yard) instead Im doing my deliveries .

Rented a 26 truck at a price of $450, (quoted) When we picked it up, it was $625!!. When asked, just a bunch of BS fees added, including tax. Truck ran well. Then they charge $8.00 per gallon if you dont fill up at a gas station that cost $2.40.What a rip.

I had a moving day coming up and I had a modest amount of furniture to move, so two weeks in advance I made a reservation online to pick up a Penske high-ceiling cargo van (smallest one) at a garage on West Marshall. Soon after I made this reservation, they contacted me and told me that location is closed and I told them I could pick it up at this one, the Holly Springs location. Some time later, two days before my move, they called me again and asked me if Id be amenable to a 16 truck instead (two sizes bigger than I wanted) since they may not have a cargo van available. I didnt like this idea but since I probably couldnt find another van elsewhere two days before I needed it, I said yes. The day of the move, I picked up the huge truck, which I never felt comfortable driving. On the way back across the river, I inadvertently drove it across the Blvd Bridge, where trucks arent permitted. The people at the toll bridge called a cop to turn me around and he cited me for the violation. Fortunately, the day looked up from there but it wouldnt have happened if Id gotten a cargo van like I asked. I said this much to the man behind the desk when I returned the truck. He apologized and seemed genuine but it was a unsatisfactory experience for me. If I need a van in the future, I doubt Ill go here again.

Great staff in the office, the lady was busy but on top of everything!!

After having a truck reserved for more than a week, I walked into the office and was asked what I wanted and before I could finish saying I had reserved a truck they told me they did not have it. They sent me 30 mins down the road to get one at home depot.
