Robert replaced a front differential axle seal on my 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500. Im from out of town and needed the job done that day to continue my employment with the Forest Service on a wildfire incident. He was able to fit me in and finish the repair for a reasonable charge. A shop up the street referred me to him and I couldnt have been luckier! Skill, professionalism, integrity...Robert is the real deal and Id recommend him to anybody.

Was referred there by T&T Alignment for a repair. Call multiple times. Voice message box was full the first time. I left a message on a subsequent call. Never got a response.Booked the repair at Paul and Sons. I only rated two stars because I never got a response. I honestly cannot say I disliked the place because I never did business there.

Robert Armstrong was upfront and did not “guess” or give me the run around. He is a man who keeps his word. I highly recommend him and his staff. I was broke down in Ridgecrest, Ca (2011 Ford F-250 6.7 diesel) Two other automotive shops and two towing services recommended Armstrong.

This place fixed my cars AC when it broke in the middle of summer and the price was reasonable so I decided to bring the car back when it broke down again but now its been two weeks since I dropped my car off and not once have they called me to tell me they would be keeping it this long to work on it. In addition they never answer their phone so Ive been leaving numerous messages asking for updates and they never return my calls. I was lucky to have someone answer when I called nonstop back to back one day. No estimate has been given to me and I have no idea whats going on with my car. I wish they could at least give me a rundown of how long they think its going to take so I can rent a car and arrange alternative transportation. And an estimate so I can decide if its even WORTH fixing it! I finally decided to rent a car so I could come by in person and get a status update. Ill edit once I know more and change my rating accordingly if necessary.Edit: Spoke with mechanic in person. Turns out he replaced the catalytic converter before asking me or giving me an estimate and AFTER finding out that the cars engine is no longer any good because of a crack in the engine block. So he made repairs that I did not authorize and which were useless bc had I known the engine was no longer any good I would NOT have asked him to fix the catalytic converter. Good thing I caught him before the weekend too because he said he was going to be leaving for A WEEK and he failed to realize that it wouldve been common decency to inform his customer of this very important detail. I mean YES I would want to know that my car would be there for another week just like any other person!DO NOT RECOMMEND!SECOND EDIT: its been another week since I found out about the damages to my car and guess what? Im STILL waiting for him to call me and give me an itemized bill of the work and diagnostics hes done. What kind of person causes this much inconvenience to someone during a pandemic when cash is short and its not in anyones best interest to miss work bc of a lack of reliable transportation?This is place is ridiculous, rude, inconsiderate and unbelievable.

Upfront and Great Service!Got turned down from a different shop because they said the problem sounded electrical so they didnt consider diagnosing it and said take it to the dealer. Word of mouth landed me here and he was upfront about what it could be. Quickly fixed vacuum leak and bad coil. Ran like new! Very happy customer.

Robert and his crew are rock solid. Im extremely happy every time I go in with the work completed and the prices. Sometimes, I think my cars has issues because it really misses the love they give my vehicles. Thanks for the work youve done and will do Robert and family.
