Twice now while I have been in town have I experienced mechanical issues with my beloved Toyota Land Cruiser and both times the folks at Dennis George Automotive have quickly gotten me sorted out and back on the road. We found Dennis George Automotive through AAA. And so glad that they came through for us as our car broke down on the north side of the 395 on our way to a mini vacation driving up to Bishop. It was spewing steam everywhere. We were towed to Dennis George and they promptly diagnosed the problem as a cracked radiator, replaced the part and tested the radiator. They also drive us to Denny’s so we waited in a comfy booth as our car was being serviced. We were so grateful that they were there for us. We were still able to redeem the vacation and drove on to Bishop. Thanks again!!!!

These guys rock! Driving into work in the morning, my trucks water temp started to climb past normal. I was able to find a leak myself. I called them up and told them where and they told me to bring my truck in that morning. They had the new parts on order before I even got there, received them in the afternoon, and had them installed before close. Same day turnaround at a fair price is hard enough to come by, especially in a small town. Would recommend them to anyone.

This is a well run garage. The technicians take the time to answer questions and explain the work needing to be performed, they do so in a very courteous and professional manner.

Had a bad end on a battery cable and wanted an inspection as well. Found some issues with a pulley and a fluid leak. Repairs were made as soon as parts were available. Regular updates by SMS text kept me informed throughout. Overall very happy customer.

Generally great service! I liked the photo-based feedback of car’s service status. I added rotation of tires, and the technician also pumped up my tires’ pressure...but he probably did not also check my spare, which caused my car tire pressure warning light to come on while on my trip the next day. A slight annoyance.I’ll be coming back again for my car’s service needs.

I had some suspension noise that would be very jarring when going over a speed bump or even just jacking up my car. Prior to taking to Dennis George Automotive, I went to two different shops that “looked” at my car and was told they don’t see anything wrong and that their best guesses would be the control arms. A good chunk of change and some cuts and bruises later from replacing control arms myself, I found it was not the case. Dropped off my car at Dennis George overnight after my shift at work, said I needed it back by 2pm. They found the problem and resolved my suspension noise by 12pm. Just some dried out sway bar bushings. I wish I went to them first and they will now be my go-to shop for any of my automotive needs.

These guys were really nice I wanted to make sure my vehicle was ok to take up camping over the weekend and so I had them do a general inspection so I could have some peace of mind and know what I need to look out for. Long story short they reassured me that my vehicle was in no dire need and that it would be fine to take on the trip. I like having faurghn vehicles and I have avoided using Dennis George automotive for my 20 years if living in this valley, thinking because it was faurghn car service it would be over priceding. But, not only do they have a friendly office adispher for me the work is quality they explain in detail all they work done and needs to be done. We broke down in Death Valley and were towed to Ridgecrest. Tow company referred Dennis George because they had fixed other cars quickly. We called them 8 am and they got our truck in right away. My first experience with Dennis George Automotive was in 2011, after my do-it yourself brake job had gone horribly wrong. They did such a great job repairing my mess for an amazing price. I had heard horror stories of mechanics taking advantage of people and as a single mom, I needed someone trustworthy and honest. I found them! Every time I have needed anything from an oil change to complicated problems with my hybrid, they have done an incredible job. I highly recommend them!!
