NEVER AGAIN!!!!On Friday June 18th 2021, I contacted this location inquiring about hitch installment, Will the manager was very helpful and informed me he didn’t have the specific hitch in stock. However, he searched other Uhaul localities and found one in Pennsylvania. Awesome right, especially this specific hitch was out everywhere else. I found 3 in stock on etrailer but Will stated he will have it shipped to this location and scheduled me an appointment for the following Saturday, June 26th I was relieved. Will took all my information down including my phone number (remember I gave him my phone number). Friday, June 25th I called to confirm my appointment for the following day, appointment was confirmed. Arrived at this location early Saturday as scheduled, walked in Will was there during the greeting I asked him how he was doing? Will responded busy….not a sole was there and he definitely wasn’t busy cleaning because the place was in horrible condition. I gave him my name and informed him I had a scheduled appointment, Will looked confused and looked at his screen. Oh, the hitch hasn’t arrived! So, when I called Friday to confirm why wasn’t I informed or why didn’t anyone call me, I completely understand shipments don’t always come in on time. Will responded, he should have told me when I called everything is color coordinated in the system he should have told me….hmmm why wouldn’t the manager who was going to install it call me. Will looked at his screen again and said I would contact them (Pennsylvania Uhaul) but I know it’s the weekend no one will pick up. Will informed me he would call Monday the 28th to check on the status, and wanted to confirm my phone number, please tell me why this manager who took my initial call, read me some foreign number and then stopped himself afterwards and said that was their store phone number, unreal! Will corrects my number tells me he was going to schedule my appointment for Monday, but for me not to come it was a reminder for him to contact the other Uhaul place to see about the hitch. Monday arrives expecting a phone call, no phone call, so I decided to call, Will picks up and stated he didn’t have any information nor did he call. My response simply cancel it. I would rather go somewhere else whenever it comes back in stock, than to deal with the lack of professionalism shown here. If I only would have checked online to see others reviews I would have not wasted my time. Thanks to Will and Uhaul I went back online etrailer was sold out. If I didn’t waste my time with this location I could have ordered the hitch myself and had it installed. Never again will I waste my time and energy there. I wonder for those who rent trucks if they realize there is a really nice Penske a few miles from this place and their staff is night and day compared to this location.

This is the worst U-Haul store I have ever went into, but I think they are the same. There is no customer service, when you call you are sent to a main U-Haul number where there is no one local to speak with. The customer service is very condescending and they tell you that there will be someone to contact you but they never do. This is my local U-Haul store and I have tried numerous times to get propane from the store and there is always an excuse. The regional manager should try and reach out to customers about the problem so that they can get them resolved. If you cant provide service then close your doors.

No customer service, manager is rude and unprofessional so his staff feels they can be the same. The trailer I rented was not the size it was advertised to be and when I went back to get a different trailer I showed them with a tape measure that it was considerably smaller than they advertised. The manager said he did have time for this and charged me full price for the next size up plus for the ramp gate upgrade and didn’t offer any apologies for the inconvenience and when I returned the bigger trailer I had to completely unhook and jack up the trailer myself while the attendant stood there on his personal phone offering no assistance. AVOID this place at all costs.

Got price installed a hitch from U-haul website. This store would not honor price saying, They dont always know what we do. Wanted an additional $50. Not even close to apologetic about difference. Take it or leave it!

I talked to Ben and he was amazing in giving me prices and setting up my reservation I set up the reservation as I need it for tomorrow to move and he knew the whole situation told me he had one and that’s why we reserved then I get a call a hour later that it’s not available and to go try rocky mount 🤦🏻‍♀️Great service now I have to dig out something else cause what I reserved and arranged with u guys will not be held on ur end

I just attempted twice to reserve a moving truck for the month of December. First my cart kept deleting itself. Then the truck isn’t available on the day or in the month I need it ...... How do you guys stay in business ???

The Gentleman working the shift the day I was there was Great. Came directly to me, answered questions and helped me with my propane filling immediately. I will use them again!!

My husband picked up a trailer from this location on saturday and purchased the 8 dollar insurance. I called this location and made them aware that our personnel insurance covers U-Haul and the man said he would refund me my 8dollars when the U-Haul was returned. I called the man today and asked him why my 8 dollars was not refunded yet and he said because my husband didn’t mention it when he dropped off the trailer?? And said the contract is between U-Haul and my husband and not me and literally argued with me! This place is so sorry and I don’t recommend it to ANYONE!!!!

My experience with this place was a waist of time and money. I had to hook the trailer up myself. The guy that was training the new hire had no idea how to hook up the trailer. Myself and the new hire strapped the U box down and hooked it to my truck myself. I rented a U box from them for three days. I returned the box empty because I knew I was not going to get it filled up fast enough. After returning it I was still charged full price because they say they do not pro rate rentals. This is the same answer corporate told me. This would have been nice to know before I took it. This thing will not allow me to post unless I put a star on it. I wouldnt even give them one star.

If you need to move something they usually have what you need or can find a location close by that can help.

Went in this morning to ask about renting a pickup. I could tell before I even ask that this guy has an attitude. I ask how much pickups are to rent. He looks like wth at me and says which one? I’m like one with a v8 and tow package. Then I ask how much it is to rent and he flings his hand up and the wth face again and acts like I should know. Then I hold my hand up and say I don’t need the attitude and thanks I will go somewhere else. And walk away. He mumbles something . I reported him to customer service.

I spoke with Mike on two calls trying to find the best vehicle/price for my move. He acted as if he were inconvenienced by talking stren. Poor customer service!

It was fine. A little slow checking the truck back in.
