My first time moving and using U-Haul. Salem Turn Pke didnt have my truck and never told me even though I booked well in advance, over a week. They sent my order to Hershberger who messed up my order AGAIN: recommended a too small truck which caused me to do multiple trips thus raising the mileage. Then gave me the keys to a truck parked behind another one. Truck was hard to drive, need spark plug or something. They also never gave me my furniture pads and dolly and utility dolly BUT still charged me for it. When I called they answered and promptly put me on a hold and never came back to the phone. The brake got stuck and the truck definitely needed repairs and have a little bit of gas. I replaced the gas with a bit more. Good thing I did or theyd charge me another $40! Then they charged me an after hours fee. SMH I dont like disorganized companies and the deliberate pricing deceptions employed to shake down customers. Just a terrible way to treat customers and run a company... reeks of price gauging and deceptions.

I Had reserved a storage unit and paid up until August for it. Upon trying to move in found out they gave my unit to someone else 4 days before I attempted to move in. I also found out later that day that they left the reservation under MY U-Haul account. Because of this I was able to see the full name, address, phone number, email, and card info of the person who they gave my storage unit to as well as their emergency contact. HUGE breach in and leak of privacy. It took two days for them to tell me there was nothing they could do and to either delete my U-Haul account or make another and stop using my current one and to give me a refund for the 3 months advance payment I made. I am never using U-Haul again after this. Ended up moving into Public Storage where it cost about the same price. I highly suggest Public Storage rather than U-Haul. I’m half tempted to call the person who is now in what was supposed to be my storage unit who’s phone number I now have because of the mess up and suggest they move to Public Storage.

Had issue with manager tryn to charge me when moving my stuff out. Had issue with gate when I went to get stuff and I couldnt grab my last couple boxes. Spoke with another manager and they took care of the issue but its crazy to have to go through that when tryn to move out. Will be renting a truck tomorrow and hope that is a better experience.

The attendant that answered my phone call was awesome and very understanding.

Its easy and simple. The manager is willing to negotiate on some things. Never had any problems with them.

Great had a really hard time at the store on Williamson, but he referred us to the store on Salem Turnpike, and this guy knocked it out of the park.

I had to help someone move out of their house and I rented a U-Haul from this location. The employee was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend coming to this place if your in need of a trailer.

Truck had no air conditioning, overcharged for rental

Ive used UHaul for a long time and they have never let me down. The storage units are clean and they always have the size unit I need. The personnel are friendly and informative, the equipment is always in working order. I would recommend UHaul for your next move and/or storage needs.

If there was a negative rating I would give it to this location. We have rented from this location two times and both experiences have been horrific. This location DOES NOT follow through on-line reservation. They DO NOT call as outlined on the reservation. They make excuses for the issue. Each time service was lacking and unprofessional. Do yourself a favorite and go to another location.

Was expensive. They advertise one price...but u HV to pay for miles and always bring back same amount of gas as when u picked up. But customer service was nice. N had me in uhaul quick

Came to get some things out of storage the doors was locked at 615 the worker showed up in a rental van got out and said he was on his lunch break til 630 they close at 7 smh he was rude also to boot

The employees at this location went above and beyond to help me get settled into my storage unit. Showing up with a 26 Foot truck after moving cross country was a little overwhelming but they made me feel right at home. I would highly suggest this facility for truck rental or storage rental! Customer service was A+ and a very clean storage lot!
