I used to get great service till this point. I’d get a call just when I needed new supplies. That stopped happening. I lost a bunch of weight and attempted to call them to get refitted with new mask. I got transferred 4 times and had the same menus. Was on the phone a long time. I am looking for someone better. These recordings suck. Can’t even talk to a live person!
I get that sometimes an order gets screwed up. But the second time, when you are very specific about what you need. TO BE ABLE TO BREATHE! And they still send you the wrong item. If your insurance covers someone else you should stay clear of this place. Unfortunately I am stuck. Lets see if 3 times is the charm.
GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! You will answer the same bunch of questions twice on the phone from someone who knows so little about this business and takes so long that he might just be stationed at the fast food drive through while taking calls.. You will first be told you will get a callback from Processing to qualify you. They will call back in nine days and ask all the same questions and ask you for your former and present prescription, which they should have. Then they call back, ask all the same questions, as if you are starting all over again, and then tell you that they need you to get your old prescription. You give them the doctors phone so THEY can call and have it faxed, because they are in Malaysia or thereabouts. Then they say that Processing will call you. When they call eight days later, they dont know the truth about your Insurance. So you have to do that and call them back and answer ALL the same questions, then tell them what exactly they will pay, at which point they say, ok we will make note of that and--surprise, surprise--have Processing call you back! At which point you look up another company.
They tried to bill me for a month that we did not even have equipment in house and husband was in hospital. Were in such a hurry to be the company to supply my husband with an oxygen concentrator. He went to heart doctor only to be told he does not need equipment and it will not repair or make the damage go away and his level is at 94 now. Most have that level when they are older like us. Still waiting for a pick up from them, hassle to get them to take equipment back and got rx from doctor releasing it from it today. Will see how long they take to get it out of the house!
RUN from this company! Do not use these guys. There are many smaller, more honest, and caring. This is a large company just looking at the bottom line and not afraid to over bill.
I have been using Apria for years Always had very good experiences. I have A CPAP.. They have been Helping me with supplies.. Bugging me and reminding all the time about keeping my machine well stocked which it should be.. You need to keep scheduled hose changes and air filters changed...also your head gear and nose cups should be changed.Their Respitory Therapist.. Was very experinced.. Very knowledgeable. Very No Bull..I will say they need infustructer up-dates.. This being said up-dates can work against its said purpose. I dont really like wearing my CPAP. I just need too lose 10 or 15 pounds. Then I lose my CPAP.I would say have patients.
I’ve waited a week for my wheelchair and they just dropped it off. The right leg extender was broken so now looks like I’m stuck in bed for 2 weeks till someone comes fixes this. Never again will I deal with these people. Also when you call you never can get a straight answer or anyone to call you back.
They are the worst company Ive ever had to deal with. You can never get to the right person to talk to. They keep you waiting on line at least 20 minutes before you get to talk to a person. They have sent the wrong product. They dont consider anything as important to the client. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Do yourself and your loved one a favor and find a different vendor. We attempted to get our sons bipap machine through them but after 2 weeks of different stories everytime we called! No one following through on what they said they were going to do and staff who had no idea what they were doing we told them nevemind! What a nightmare.
We asked them to drop a mask when they delivered the O2 machine. They did not.
Apria is the worst company to deal with. They sent me 6 of the same contract and demanded all be signed and return. I called their number waited 30 minutes before being connected to a person. Absolutely the worst.
Worst company on earth!!! My cpap machine doesnt work and it takes weeks to get a new one. Other providers its an overnite process. They could care less if you die. Then you get prople on the phone who cant pronounce the English language. Never again. Dont these incomptent, unreliable ingrates.
This company along with United Health Cares sucks. M y PCP faxed over a prescription for a walker for me July 15th I am getting the run around from BOTH United Health Care and Apria Healthcare They both should leave the building period
Was sold a machine that cost me 15x what I needed. Resulting in a return to hospital after I was left with no bi pap for 8 days. Now Im in hospital on day 6
I would have given minus stars, but sadly, this system will only allow as low as 1 star....to post.My post is about Aphia in General not the local store. They can only do what cooperate MANAGEMENT allows and they do not listen as this was not my first complaint!!Local inventory does not exist; therefore, when I found myself in a stressful situation with a broken head gear I could not get parts in person local an d shipped to me was my only option. But wait, I made one phone call, to Rochester Oxygen and CPAP, Bonnie in Henrietta had my doctors scrip for the replacement in 10 minutes and I picked up my head gear within the hour. Oh, furthermore, I found out that Rochester Oxygen and CPAP is accepted by my insurance now so I will be switching my orders to Rochester Oxygen and CPAP.4/18Nothing has changed...Yes Im a glutton for punishment. This should not reflect on the staff at the Scottsville Road office. The problem exists at on a corporate scale when you called to try and get an appointment and it takes 25 minutes to set up an appointment for a 3-minute visit. The staff at Scottsville Road office have always been outstanding and polite. However, they cannot offset the poor taste one gets from dealing with corporate!
My experience has been similar. They were very easy to work with when they were associated with my doctors office but it has been going down hill since. They are very dishonest in their billing and only found out what the could charge for things by contacting medicare directly. The overbilled me. never once let me know how much the overall bill was, I got that from my insurance company and had to contact my insurance company and medicare to find out how much Apria could charge and how much they were paid. After many months they finally refunded my overpayment. Before that they submitted my bill incorrectly so I had trouble getting payment form Medicare. and their respiratory therapist ws extremely unhelpful
I am a Apria Healthcare victim I have been trying to get a new water tank for my C-PAP machine I have called four times and my wife has called twice with the last time a man named Chris was making claims that if my tank had not got to me he would Hand Delivery it to me well that was two weeks ago. ( Back log when I called they said it was delivered to the wrong address twice, two different addresses) I was billed for the tank and yet still going on three months later still no tank. As I write this review I have been on the Apria Healthcare line for at this point 34 minutes without talking to any one just calling into the office automated phone system. This service is not just bad but woefully and disturbingly deceptive and unprofessional if there was a overseeing governing body for this kind malpractice I would call or write a letter/e-mail what ever it took to put this company out of business.
Have paid my bill in full every month, and yet my latest bill shows a Previous Balance, and does not show the previous payment.
For over a year they sent me the wrong parts, never even checked on it with my doctors at all they are out for mony avoid them I switched providers
Horrible customer service!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
