I was starting the process of a total redo of a family room. Went to Bassett thinking that the furniture would not be contemporary enough so just wanted to check it off my list. Pleasantly, there was a good mix of traditional and contemporary and I found several couches and chairs that would work in our room. We had tremendous help from one of the sales women. She was patient, worked to understand my requirements and did an excellent job explaining the options. Good to know: frequent sales, about 800 fabric choices and free in-home design consultation.

Please do not buy any furniture insurance from Guardsman. They are a scam company and best of luck if you are trying to get a hold of, read the reviews in Business Bureau. I will not buy any more furnitures from Bassett again unless they stop supporting and promoting a scam company (Guardsman). Save your money!!!

Quality custom furniture with great salespeople. There are so many options to choose from and the themes vary.

Worst company ever. Waited two months for furniture I ordered and paid for from the Rockville, Maryland store, and they delivered the wrong furniture. I was then told that the furniture I ordered was no longer available.

We have bought most of our furniture at Basset and it is our favorite furniture store. Ask for Emilia to help you. She is the best designer there. Extremely patient and helpful

My mother-in-law went here to look for a new chair after another place wasnt very helpful. Here she met, Lena, who was excellent at working with her. In the end she also bought new curtains. Four star rating for excellent customer service.

I loved the wide selection of furniture and most importantly, the opportunity to change fabrics to customize your goods. The clearance area was a bargain unlike Sheffield who had no clearance furniture at all. Bassett holds its own and is top notch. The salesperson, Jerry was kind and very helpful too. In fact he called me when Bassett had a sale but I was unable to get back but its associates like this that keep customers coming back.

Great staff and service and product. I felt like I was very well taken care of. The sales staff gave us a tour of the store even sat down with us to design our couch, accents and our living room. I also love that their products are made in America which means it not only is supporting American workers but also it means you dont have to wait for a month for your furniture. Delivery in about 2 weeks usually. 👍

You receive good assistant from staff. But it take long to receive your furniture as they will make it based on your order. There is no ready-to-get-to-home furniture even if you like one of the available set.

We got a great deal on a chair a few months ago that we love! But I hate coming here. The people who work here are worse than vultures. I always feel rushed and want to leave as soon and they approach me. My fiance and I were just browsing one day and this woman followed us to every single room, It was so uncomfortable. I get they want to make a sale, but we would actually catch her peering around a corner watching us. Its never a relaxing experience coming here.

What an unpleasant experience. We were in the market for new living room furniture and made it very clear we were just starting to look. The sales lady was trying to push us to make a purchase with the tactics of a used car salesman. What a nightmare. We couldnt get out of there fast enough. Thankfully, we find what we were looking for at Arhaus.
