Our Designer, Ellen, was absolutely terrific! She even came to our home and offered advice on colors and pieces we might consider. She listened to our needs and desires and helped us choose fabrics we might not have considered. We love the look of our new rooms! Excellent service and delivery. Quality furniture.

I have an excellent experience in dealing with Dennis Pollard of Rockville, MD store. I ordered a sleeper sofa scheduled to be delivered in November, but due to an emergency we needed it immediately, he went out of way to accommodate our needs and provided us a loaner sleeper sofa within few days. We are very impressed by the customer service, we are also very impressed by the designer Jeff Clarke, he is an outstanding designer and is good listener to understand the customer requirements and views in planning the layout.

My experience with Chris Nguyen.Chris is a true gem! He is an incredibly talented designer and a wonderful person. He is laid back, listens to you, doesnt push and makes the design experience as stress free as it can be. Chris helped me not only pick out a new couch, ottoman and pillows that met all of my familys requirements but he helped me create the whole room. He listened to what I liked, what I was looking for, what my family wanted and picked out fabrics that were perfect. They werent ones I would have picked myself but in the end they were exactly what I wanted. He made the picking easy providing me just three choices and then we could make revisions from there. I wasnt overwhelmed and Im thrilled with the combinations. And once we picked fabric he also helped me pick my paint color another task I dread. He gave me two choices and I loved one of them...done! When it came time to pick carpet I brought the samples to him, I didnt want to make a decision without his input because I totally trust his opinion. I highly recommend Chris and will definitely use him again in the future.

Ethan Allen was once a great, upstanding American brand. Sadly, not so much any more. They cant keep up with manufacturing demands, which is pretty understandable; however, instead of responding with transparency concerning their extended backlog, they lie. Once they blow past the anticipated delivery window of 7 to 9 weeks, if you try to call customer service, expect to be on hold for over an hour. You can leave a voicemail instead of sitting on hold; but itll be a couple of days until they call you back, if they call back at all. Good luck getting a refund.

We recently worked with Tatyana at the Rockville, MD Ethan Allen store. She helped us select a matching couch and loveseat. We love the design, color, fabric, and how the two pieces occupy the space in our living room. The nearly three month wait for manufacture and delivery was well worth it. Tatyana is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, a good communicator, and her sales technique never feels like pressure to buy. Highly recommended.

We had an outstanding experience updating our living room furniture at Ethan Allen, using a mix of online review of the options and a visit to the showroom at the Rockville Pike, MD. A big part of how excellent our experience was has to be credited to the support and advice of Christopher Nguyen, a designer in residence at that store. He answer all our questions explicitly, suggested valuable design tips, personally showed us the different models and fabrics we were interested in and produced a very useful simulation of how our living room would look like. He introduced some additions and variations on our original selections that led us to revisit some decision for the better. All this in no time and with more kindness than we have experienced in a long time in any store. We are grateful and highly recommend Chris as a designer.

Bought a new house and wanted to get some quality furniture. The actual looks/quality/design was as good as you would expect. But the reason we ended up going with EA over the other furniture stores we went to was the customer service. We worked with Ellen Price and would highly recommend her to anyone, being the big reason we bought from here. She took our floor plan, existing furniture, and talked through our lifestyle choice to design a beautiful, functional, and affordable layout. We picked up a couple pieces and will be back to continue working with Ellen and filling out our home over time.

Ive always had a wonderful experience working with the staff at the Rockville, MD Ethan Allen location, in particular Christopher Nguyen and Dennis Pollard. I currently showcase a number of the brands pieces in from home decor to my favorite dining room table. Ive been provided excellent advise how to blend colors and patterns in order for them to flow from room to room. Its been an eye opener in the quest for a model home. We have been working with Rose since June 2019. We purchased a new home and wanted to make sure our home represented my husband’s and my style while still appropriate for a family of 4 with two young boys. We really wanted style with good quality fabrics that can hold up for a family. We have purchased furniture and accessories in the past with Ethan Allen but our experience with Rose this time around was extremely different. On the first visit Rose took the time to understand what we were looking for. On the second visit, she showed us our 3D room layout and fabrics. And I must say my husband and I loved the layout and the fabrics immediately. We did not waste time discussing different layouts. We knew that we didn’t need to look at more fabrics. We went with Rose’s design and are so happy with our decision. Unlike other designers, Rose gives you honest feedback and will take the time to explain why she designed the room in a particular way and why she chose those exact fabrics for you. Rose has designed our family room and we are now working on our dining room with her. Our living room will be next and with Rose of course! We cannot imagine working with anyone else besides Rose.

Ordered a two piece sectional sofa in July. They said it would be delivered sometime in mid September. A week after they said it was supposed to be delivered called them to find out the status of the order. They said the fabric was very popular and was causing a delay of about a month. Then about three weeks later again reached out to them. To which they replied were expecting it in our warehouse the following week.Got a phone call from them on the Friday afternoon of the following week, to schedule delivery, and collect the final payment. The delivery went very smoothly, and the sofa is great!The issue isnt the delay as much as it is the lack of a proactive approach to the delay or keeping me posted on the progress (or lack there of). It would have taken just a few minuets to send an e-mail saying that because of the popularity of the chosen fabric that there would be a delay in delivery of approximately whatever number of weeks. Had that been the case there would be another star or two in this review.

Rose was a delight to work with. She skillfully built on my ideas to help me create a warm, comfortable space. She was careful to keep things simple with the right amount of class and sophistication. Thank you for helping me turn my house into a home.

Ordered leather cubes for basement. Cubes look nice, items delivered to foyer and we carried them to the basement.Only complaint.. I asked where the cubes were made. I was told in USA. However, they were made in Mexico. I try support American industries when I can.

Our designer was super patient with us and worked with us on two separate visits to make a decision for our new couches. The location is huge and nicely laid out. The ordering process was done with the designer who walked us through everything. Our designer also updated us on delivery times and when to expect it. Our delivery process was smooth and efficient. Overall a great experience!

I have been working with designer Chris Nguyen for about 5 years now. He originally helped me decorate my master bedroom but over the years has added his expert touch to every room in my house. He is great with colors, fabrics and understanding my vision. Ive been to the Rockville Ethan Allen a few times with my husband and we just fell in love with designer Chris Nguyen. He was down to earth, funny, and overall a pleasure to work with.Chris helped us configure our space which was a dilemma my husband and I had had for years. Our living room is a good size, its just long. Through 3-D renderings he helped us visualize the possibilities of our space.We are very pleased with Chris and our newly designed room! From the very first time I met Lena in the Rockville Ethan Allen store I knew she was a perfect fit to work with. She was very professional and personable. She asked all the right intimate questions to get to the core of my style and preference. She put together the most detailed and even hand drawn presentation for my husband and I, further solidifying my confidence in her professional expertise. I cannot convey enough how in love I am with all the furniture. Our project consisted of my living room, dining room, kitchen, and piano room. The cost of our project was >$50K. Chris and I hit it off right from the start. He was available without being pushy as I walked through the showroom looking for pieces I liked. Once I started narrowing in on what I liked Chris steered me towards other options for consideration and eliminated my aimless wandering. Chris then offered to come to my home and see what space I had and to prepare a mock up of the pieces I chose and how they would fit. Just a week later I went to meet with Chris to see the fabrics he had chosen and I have to stay I was pleasantly shocked at how well he did with his choices. I loved all the fabrics he chose for the pieces and even liked one of the patterns he picked for pillows - no one is perfect. After visiting numerous furniture stores and getting terrible customer service and fewer selections than I had expected Chris was a God-send. He really made this experience a pleasure and I cant wait to put it all together in my home.

Ethan Allen is my favorite furniture store! The design and quality of the furniture is great. I’ve purchased from the Rockville store a number of times over the last few years and experienced none of the issues with the service personnel. Everyone was professional and courteous.

We were very happy working with Rose Tergelie Bien-Amie at Ethan Allen. We recently had hardwood flooring installed in our study, foyer, living room, and dining room. We were interested in updating our living room, but had a couple of favorite pieces that we wanted to keep. We first met Rose after we came to the store to look at some LR pieces. We chatted, and she offered to schedule a visit to come over to our house to get a feel for the space that we were redecorating.When Rose came to our house, she listened very carefully to our description of what we wanted to do. She took photos and measured the windows (we decided that we also wanted to have new window treatments for the study, LR, and DR). Based on her visit, Rose gave great suggestions to help us figure out how to make the LR work, even with the older pieces that I wanted to keep.After our meeting at the house, it took me a little while to decide on the sofa, chairs, and fabrics. Rose made great suggestions right away for a beautiful cocktail table and nesting end tables, that would both complement and complete the look.When our sofa and chairs were delivered, we had them arranged according to the plan that Rose designed. We found that we really liked the arrangement, even though it wasnt what my husband and I originally had in mind!Currently, we are waiting for our tables to arrive and we just ordered our window treatments. The final things on our list are: finding rugs for the LR and DR; recovering one of our older chairs in the LR; and painting the study, foyer, LR, and DR.We really enjoyed working with Rose. She is genuinely very friendly, really listened, has a great eye for design, was very helpful with the overall layout of the room. I felt very fortunate to have her helping us.

Horrible experience with my order. I have ordered from Ethan Allen in the past and was extremely satisfied with the service. I ordered a living room set in January. It was not delivered until May and I did not receive any updates on the order. The delivery service was not coordinated well. I received a call from the delivery driver on the morning of delivery as I was leaving my house. In addition, I ordered custom pillows that I still have not received 5 months later and was told today that they have been at the store for months. I am confused as to why the customer service is so poor compared to the standards of excellence that the Ethan Allen brand represents. Very disappointed and I will not be ordering any additional furniture here as previously planned.

We spent $7,000 here and changed our mind about some barstools we ordered. Whatever you do, DO NOT do that, do not change your mind! They charge you a restocking fee and their wonderful manager will not waive that, no matter how much youve spent. So therefore, theyve lost future sales with us. It seems petty but this is about principle. Therefore, I would NOT recommend this store. I didnt get the vibe they look down on folks as several people on Yelp have said but they also dont go out of their way to make you feel welcomed when youre there shopping!

Lena Archuleta is terrific to work with. She has a versatile and strong sense of style and design that she easily adapts to her clients goals and preferences. I loved working with her because her suggestions supported and ehanced my vision of the home I was seeking to create. She was quick to suggest alternatives where my initial inclination may not have been the best choice, but did so in a way that was well reasoned and supportive, not critical. Bought an entire apt of furniture from Ellen. 2nd substantial purchase. Nice product, nice folks.

My experience - if youre considering dropping some $ at Ethan Allen, think twice. We bought an $$$ couch from their Rockville MD location a few months ago and had a quality issue with once of the seat cushions. 3 months later, were still trying to have it resolved. Id say it would cost the company $70 to replace the part and make/keep a customer happy. Instead Ethan Allen and their incompetent management staff have ignored the service call requests. Everyone says, were looking into it and well get back to you soon. Waste of our time and money. Look at every other option out there other than Ethan Allen. They get a ZERO for customer service!

At least at Rockville, MD store the help was extremely poor. Nobody was ready to help, they were just send us to other rep who had no interest in helping clients.
