Excellent customer service. The seller went far above and beyond to give us tips on finishing the furniture and was very helpful in helping us make sure the furniture was not damaged when loading the car. We were impressed by both the quality of the furniture and the wide selection of available items. Were excited to finish our piece and hope to be back soon for more!

Excellent service and excellent selection! If you are looking for unfinished furniture, this is your place. My wife and I needed some dining chairs and Zadia furniture didnt disappoint. Nate was superb and made the experience a breeze. Trying to match existing decor, unfinished chairs were a good fit for us, plus, its kinda fun to just do it yourself sometimes. The quality is excellent!

Excellent quality and great value. We have purchased the majority of our furniture here and have been very happy with it. The customer service is also excellent. We recently moved out of state and have since continued to buy our wood furniture here.

Fantastic unfinished furniture store!! Quality and prices are terrific. Gave me detailed instructions on how to refinish my pieces. Checked to make sure all hardware was provided by manufacturer. Nate and Rita are lovely people and their customer service is outstanding!!

Just bought a dining room hutch. Very happy with the price, quality of service, and overall experience. The owners were super helpful and went way beyond the usual customer service. They clearly cared not just about their customers but also the products they sell--they gave us all sorts of helpful suggestions on how to finish/paint the furniture. And, they were very helpful in making sure that the furniture was not damaged in any way during loading onto our minivan. The price was very reasonable AND without any prompting, the owners gave us a discount because the furniture had been at the store for awhile & there were some virtually unnoticeable weathering (which would have been easily hidden when finishing it). I absolutely recommend this store if you are interested in good quality wooden furniture that you wouldnt mind finishing yourself (although I believe you can have them finish it for a price). The only advice is that, especially during COVID, you give them a call before you visit the store as they are not always there. The owner will call you back to make an appointment even if you didnt leave a message. A bit of a pain, but well worth a call.

Weve purchased several pieces of furniture from Zadia and have been happy with the knowledgeable staff and quality products. Their gel stain is really easy to use and the finished products look great, even when stained by an amateur. This is always my first stop when shopping for furniture - high quality at a fraction of the cost of fine furniture stores.

This is a really lovely store run by lovely people. They have a great selection of unfinished (and some finished) furniture that is well made and reasonably priced. We were looking for some items for our nursery and were able to find three pieces we are really happy with. They provide finishing services, but also sell supplies and were able to provide very detailed instructions for do-it-yourself finishing which we took them up on.Note that they are currently open by appointment to allow for social distancing during the covid situation. We called from the parking lot and were able to get an appointment following a customer that was already shopping, so that part was very easy and we really appreciated the precautions they are taking to keep themselves and their customers safe.

We bought two 7’ bookcases and a tv cabinet. Nate was so helpful every step of the way. He guided us through the sale and the delivery. He also helped with guidance for painting the pieces ourselves. Great experience.

My husband and I drove an hour to get here only to find a handwritten open by appointment only sign on the door. It wouldve been nice to be able to find that our on their website so we didnt waste our time. If the staff and owners are this inconsiderate Im glad I wasnt able to support their business.

My wife and I were looking for white wood furniture and are so happy we found Zadias. The people there were as nice as can be and their showroom was filled a broad selection of furniture - ranging from side tables to hutches and bed frames. We walked away with a couple of new kitchen chairs and a six foot long bench that we plan to customize with our own selections of stains and paints, which they also had. We would recommend Zadias to anyone in the market for sturdy, real wood, furniture that they can customize as their own.

Bought three maple wood bookcases and had their person finish them. The service was excellent, the bookcases of high quality and the finished bookcases delivered in a week perfectly matched bookcases I had bought nearly 20 years ago. They took a shelf from the old bookcases to do the best possible match. Highly recommended.

They have a good selection of all sorts of home furniture. Note! Much of the items are stacked on one another and acquire small scratches. Not noticable when you buy it, but items MUST be sanded before staining or else those scratches will show up. Also, ALL of the items are made of hard woods...none of that lousy particle board. The woods are quite hard, as such, they tend not to take oil based stains well. From my experience, and after talking to people at Sherman Williams, I have found that gell stains are not ideal. Rather, Polyshade works guite well. Good luck and happy DIY.

Great hidden gem on Rockville Pike. You will find no particle board here. The shop sells a wide variety of furniture made from solid wood, both pine and hardwood. It even smells great inside.

Great experience with a small business. High quality solid wood furniture, that could be bought unfinished or finished. We bought four pieces that were a combination of both. The price was very fair for the workmanship and materials. We were put into contact with a finisher that also had reasonable prices and delivered. You should be prepared to wait for Factory ordered or finisher furniture to come. However, unfinished pieces were plentiful. We had great customer service experience, and a low-pressure, well informed sales person. This business is over 40 years and its longevity is a result of being a well run shop.

I loved all the book cases and dressers they had. Very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I needed a shelf that was an odd size but we found something that was perfect.
