Good place to shop for kids clothes and wife loves sephora

The store looks a lot better these days. It used to be too crowded to get a cart between the racks but now you can actually shop.

Would be nice if they carried boot cut jeans, and the skinny Jean wearing staff knew what boot cut was.

Unwilling to help adjust a watch because it was not bought in their store. I was instead offered hollow platitudes.

Always a great place to buy gifts, especially jewelry. Bought my niece a beautiful necklace today.

Its been over a year since Ive been in a JCPenny store. While I want them to survive, I thought their prices had really gone up.The cashiers were really nice, so that is always nice.

First I would like to say every experience I have had here has not been a good one. I love the store itself but the staff needs a lot of help. Don’t even try to call because most of the time the phone doesn’t get answered and if it does you are put on hold and forgot about. I called five times one time because I kept getting hung up on. Secondly, the jewelry department is not good at all. The people behind the desk there are rude and need more skills when it comes to working with customers. It is hard to even find help when shopping, it seems like only one person works there at a time. I don’t know if the issue is with the management of the place or what, but it needs to be changed. Sorry but I have not had any good experiences here.

Thought JC Penneys was closed up. Went inside with my teen daughter and my teen niece and youd thought wed never been in a store before hahaha everything was pretty and sparkly the selection colors and prices were amazing. Bought shoes, the department was easy to find. Definitely going back!

Seemed understaffed and uninformed about current promotions. After making a purchase, I discovered cashier overcharged me. She had to get someone else to correct problem. I found discount labeling lacking or confusing at best. Not the store I remembered it once to be. (Sorry but, you asked. 😞)

Looking for men’s suits or dress clothing? Don’t waste the trip here. It would also be nice if store staff shored up collections and signage so you can actually see what they have. Very neglected section of the store.

Went in and we were in a bit of a hurry just driving through my fiancé forgot his winter coat so we stopped in to buy a new one due to us traveling and it being so cold already. The ladies came over the speakers at least 4 times telling us to leave starting at 630pm I had looked online and it said it closes at 8pm I figured since covid it probably changed to 7pm no big deal. We werent even able to try a coat on or even really look at anything else we were rushed out before we even made it to the mens really. I will not stop here again for a quick grab or shopping of any kind at all.

Rolla JCPENNY does not sell any maternity clothing in their store! Just FYI mommas. Which I think is BS!

What kind of store doesnt offer masks if theyre mandatory? I was called out by an employee and told I needed to wear a mask. They have different signs that say different things! I told them I didnt see them offering masks (I do not have my own) and they went to the back to get me one. Why not just have them before you step into the store? Not only that, but there were customers that came in after me that I was near and not ONCE were they told to put on mask despite them not having any. So not only do their signs not make anything clear, but the employees dont either.

The hours are very limited right now. The selection was good and I got what I needed at a good price. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Saleswoman was very rude. We asked for additional assistance and nobody came. I have shopped at other jcPenney stores my whole life and this one was very disappointing.

Wonderful help! She found just what I needed. Took lots of time with me.

Went to return some curtains that were bought online. Had the packing list and the card number it was bought with. Cashier couldnt do it for me. Went back with the same items in hand the next week and a different cashier was able to return the money to my card. Was a bit of a hassle but in the end turned out ok. Much more knowledgeable cashier the second round. No other complaints.

Stood at the jewelry counter for 20 minutes for help and when someone comes, I tell them I am interested in purchasing a watch. They tell me where the case is they are located but, do not continue to help me. Finally get another associate only to have her switch with a co worker after leaving to get a price check. When the CO worker asked what she could do for me, while holding the watch I asked for a price check on, I asked her how much and she replied, I dont know I will need to go find out. I finally had enough and left. They used the excuse they had too many people because of Christmas, but, when you start helping someone you are not finish until they are finish!!!

I was here at the hair salon and Christina was wonderful to work with!! She actually listened to was I was hoping to achieve with my hair and exceeded my expectations. First time in my 44years that I actually love my hair and my curls!! Thank you!!

Went to buy A suit, clerk was patient polite and helpful. Anything in my size was way up on topmost racks, no grey suits my size or color (smokey grey) they offered to order and add a discount, but i do not like to order based on past experience. They were cheerful helpful and offered alternative selections. I did not buy nor find what i wanted, but they worked so dilligently, i will try again later.

Manager on duty helped me with a unique problem when a gift I ordered from the website on Black Friday was destroyed when delivered. The store was out of the exact item but she let me pick out a more expensive replacement item and adjusted the price so I did not have to pay any out of pocket- a $23+ difference in regular price!A+

Great store, terrible experience.The bad: Very disorganized when it comes to the men, young men, and boys section. Boys’ t-shirts, newborn clothes, and men’s underwear.. all within arms reach and difficult to find anything.The good: The women’s, sections are very organized and easy to find sales and so forth.

After standing in line to check out with one of the two cashiers for several minutes I laid my merchandise on an empty cashiers place and left. The problem was there were ladies in front of me that got to the check out before me and encouraged a lady at the very end of the line to join them. She had bags of items to return. The line went all the way to the door and we had been waiting for a very long time.this isnt like letting someone cut line at the theater. That only takes 15 seconds this was going to be 15 minutes. there are other places to shop in Rolla now.

I had a lady do my hair here in Rolla.. She was super nice however she didnt know what she was doing.. She damaged my hair so bad that it is falling out and feels like concrete or a brillo pad.. I paid $245 and when I took my sister in law who is also a hairdresser in with me (She was busy and couldnt do my hair because i work a lot) and explained why i should have my money back the manager was very unconcerned and insensitive while the other hair dressers were trying to calm me down because i was crying for the fact that my hair has to be all cut off now!!! I know its hair and it grows back but i didnt pay money for it to fall out and then to be disrespected when i wanted my money that i worked hard for back.. They havent even offered to fix my hair or cut it btw!!!

They are respecting the guidelines due to Covid, but it was the same.great service as always!

Went in to get cosmetic items for my fiancee and dress shirts for me and ran into trouble trying to find shirts in my size. A basic white shirt proved to be difficult in a variety of brands. The two I did find appeared to be dirty and/or discolored. Today did seem to be a busier day, but with that, the store should not have been kept in the condition it was in. Sephora was well kept and decent to deal with.

I went there to return some jeans because of my birthday my mother had bought them for me but they were too small. They were very very friendly on the even exchange for my jeans. The store looks really good and clean. And lots and lots and lots of clothes. They have Adidas, Levis, that includes pants and Levi shirts yes. And I just love their suit section suits arent that expensive nowadays Ive been looking for a new one anyway so Im going to look a little more

No carts, am on oxygen, had to stop and lean on display stands to rest. Jewelry didnt know they were out of a popular item (ring size adjusters) until I asked for it. My first and probably my last time there. I bought Nothing.

Sandra hill did my hair today. I absolutely love it. I walked in and the salon was able to get me in for highlights that took a good 3-4 hours. I am very pleased with the service. I have naturally black hair, and I walked out with beautiful highlights. Hardly any damage to it.

I cannot imagine how the managers st this particular location think that shopping in this store is customer friendly. The fitting rooms are often littered with clothing, the clearance department is a disgrace, with things thrown on floor like its the city dump. The sales staff is often rude or untrained, and visually, the store is a hot mess.

I ordered two bras online and had it delivered to the store to save on shipping. HUGE MISTAKE...The order kept telling me it was shipped to the store but it was never there. I went three different times to pick it up. The third time there I told them I wanted a refund because my bank account had already been deducted for the purchases. At first they told me they couldn’t refund my money without the merchandise. I was starting to get livid. They finally were able to “credit” my account. I was told it would take 5-10 minutes and the money would be back in my account. I looked at my bank account when I got home and it wasn’t there, I looked that night and it wasn’t there, I looked this morning and it wasn’t there. I decided to go BACK to the store and had to wait 20 minutes in line for help. I was told this time it would 7-14 days before I see the money. NEVER AGAIN will I shop there.

I stopped shopping here a few months ago but went in for one item they had on sale. Wont be tempted by their sales anymore. Walked all over store looking for item, it was behind a shelf by the front door. Then had to walk around a jam packed maze of clothes just to get in line to be checked out. One register open. Crowded with junk items at check out line.

I went to salon and there were 4 stylist working 3 had customers one was just walking around. I waited for 15 minutes at front desk for someone to aleast acknowledge me. Say hey I will be right with you but they all ignored me completely for 15 minutes. I got tired of waiting because I was just wanting to schedule an appointment so I just left. They all knew I was there but totally ignored me. I was disappointed because this is a place I usually go to and usually have good service.

A womans haircut is $27 without wash and style. Mens is $20. Most of what JCPenney sells here is overpriced and if you are in bigger sizes, good luck finding what you need in clothes. The employees are nice. The store is clean and organized.

Certainly upscale, clean, well-stocked and probably under-staffed. If its on sale, you tend to get some super prices. If its not on sale - well, it seems expensive but its also good quality.

The check out, customer service staff were fantastic! The process of the ship to store service was so slow that I kept thinking that Amazon prime would have had my items delivered days ago at least to the mall box. It didnt really make sense to have the check in for the ship to store service in the front of the store and the items stored in the back of the store. The notification system also needs work. Received notice that two of four items were at the store. The least expensive two items. The two most expensive items were also in. If the clerk that got the items wasnt extremely efficient and diligent another trip to the store would have had to been made. I would have been really to just Prime it then.

Love shopping at Pennys

Im extremely disappointed in this store. I bought an item and within a half hour I exchanged that item. I did not receive my full purchase price back. I had the receipt, and I still did not get the full amount back. It clearly says on JCPs website, if the item is returned within 90 days you get the full purchase price back. When I asked the manager, she said no, you will not get your sales tax back.My daughter also purchased something, her receipts clearly say the return value of that item is half of the original value. Dont waste your time and money shopping here. My family will certainly never shop here again.

Selection seems to cater to athletic wear and teens. Went to shop for my kids and the selection of clothes in the kids section was fairly sparse.

Here visiting my mother in Saint Robert Missouri went to the JC Penneysin Rolla last night. bought some shoes they forgot to take the security tag off so I had to drive all the way back. Leaving today I live in Colorado. Was long line was sent to the shoe department. Told her what happen she was very irritated with me took it off and didnt say Im sorry, apologize or anything. I never write bad reviews and I am a loyal customer in Colo. Springs. Very disappointed.

This is a decent sized store. They have a Sephora store inside now too. It was be better if they would start carrying men’s bootcut jeans in other sizes. I have tried on numerous occasions to get my husband jeans and they never have his size...34x34
